Alpha. Billionaire. Dom. Sibelius has it all, except the freedom to claim his human mate, Griffith.Claiming Griffith would put the human in danger. But that doesn’t mean he’s strong enough to send Griffith away. For years, Griffith has been the personal assistant to the man he loves. He’s hidden that love for almost as long. Sibelius is a shifter. He should be able to sense what Griffith is to … able to sense what Griffith is to him. If he hasn’t accepted Griffith yet, he never will. Which means Griffith must move on.
But when the Protectors of the Pure, an anti-shifter organization, begins attacking shifters across the country, Sibelius and Griffith must join forces to help put a stop to the hate group once and for all.
The shifters have a plan. Too bad that plan puts Bel and Griff in close quarters, in an underground bunker, away from their daily schedules. Forced together, they can’t avoid the connection between them for very long.
As things heat up between alpha and mate their enemy gears up for battle. The Protectors won’t stop until every shifter is dead. Which means Sibelius and Griffith aren’t just fighting for their love, they’re fighting for their future.

Under His Everything: Hybrid Heat Book Seven
This is a Her Tangh-i-ness Approved read.
I’ve read this book from beginning to end twice. I’d been reading Kiki Burrelli for awhile. I am also a Black FemDom, so Sibelius is the kind of character I felt represented me as an ethical Dom.
Yes, Ken and Karen, there are such things. Anyhoo, this is about
the lovestory at the center of a M/M Mpreg Alpha/Omegaverse
where I first started reading Kiki’s Wolf’s Mate, the Den Series,
then Hybrid Heat, and fell deeper and deeper into her story worlds.
First off, I appreciate Kiki for writing Sibelius, a Black man as a MC
who didn’t make me want to throw a book across a room. Positive Black MC characters are an exception still, not the norm, in too many genres. Sibelius has control issues. What Dom…ahem…human doesn’t?
I appreciate Sibelius’s nonBlack mate, Griffith, for being a reflection of a real struggle that submissive males have. Yes, Ken and Karen, Griffith likes giving it up to Sibelius. He has wanted nothing more than to do so, but the problem is Sibelius thinks he knows what’s best for the both of them.
One can argue this is a classic case of Topping from Below,
but I think it’s more a case of how ethical Doms and subs are like
magnetic poles that learn to harmonize with each other. These
two love each other and for those of us who are kinky and think
men should get pregnant on a regular basis, all we really want is some angst,
a few action set pieces, plenty of NSFW Perv moments on their way
to the knotting that leads to a healthy, happy little offspring.
Her Tangh-i-ness definitely thinks Sibelius and Griffith should return in a series of
their own. Hint. Hint. Kiki are you listening?
Note: This Under His Everything: Hybrid Heat Book Seven was a self-purchased digital title. Her Tangh-i-ness usually reviews on a for-the-love basis. No lucre has been involved.
We finally get the big showdown with the PoP in this finale, and boy is it a doozy. The PoP have developed a weapon to separate shifters from their human component, thereby turning them into mindless animals. The PoP is certain this will turn the whole world against shifters when people realize how dangerous they really are. Except they aren’t. They are just people trying to live their lives and raise families.
Alongside this drama, Sibelius (Bel) and Griffith (Griff) come to terms with their own connection. I really enjoyed seeing another, more human, more caring side to Bel. He has always been the man in the shadows, pulling the strings, and it was great to see more from him. At first, it seemed like more of the same from him…until he finds out denying Griff hasn’t stopped the mating after all. And when Griff gives an ultimatum, the dynamic changes even more.
No spoilers, but I loved the final confrontation set-up. The PoP were in way over their heads! Great conclusion, and though I am sorry to say good-bye. Kiki sent them off right.
I received an ARC from the author. This is mu honest, voluntary review.
Sibelius has always kept Griffith at arm’s length. Even though he knows that they are mates Sibelius wanted to protect him and do what he thought was right, but his latest actions have pushed Griffith past the edge. As the two find themselves in the middle of the danger their relationship will be tested. Will the two finally find peace or will Sibelius end up watching his mate walk away from him forever?
I really enjoyed Sibelius and Griffith’s story. It was nice to see the softer side of Sibelius come out. He truly loves Griffith with all his heart. His intentions were good even if he has been going about things the wrong way. Griffith is a strong willed and smart man and a perfect match for Sibelius. Watching the two find their way made for a wonderful story. Their love for each other shines through in everything that they do. As the two help fight to keep everyone safe their bond deepens, and a new trust begins to form between the two. As Griffith shows Sibelius that their love is worth taking the chance on Sibelius learns to trust in that love and to his mate what they both need and let the past stay where it belongs; in the past.
Their story moves along at a good pace and it has a good mixture of action and romance to it. We watch as they take some big risks against the Protectors of the Pure hoping that these risks will be what their world needs to win against them. I loved seeing so much hope and love find its way into this world and seeing it deepen with this book was a beautiful thing.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this exciting & fascinating Mpreg romance, it immediately draws you in and you will be totally intrigued until the last page but sadly this is the last book in the series “Hybrid Heat” & I will miss the high-spirited & sometimes mischievous ways of these characters. The plot is well-written & entertaining with some exciting events. The characters are well-developed & interesting, there is good support from the secondary characters.
There is: a rather manipulative domineering alpha (Sibelius), his smart omega assistant & submissive (Griffin), various kinds of shifters, hybrids, humans, a propaganda group (Protectors of the Pure), twists & turns, suspense, intrigue, mild BDSM, action, prejudice, danger, enemies, secrets, threats, devious plans, memories, mates, vulnerability, jealousy, misunderstandings, attacks, verbal conflict, ultimatums, surprises, happiness, love, steamy scenes & a well-deserved happy ending.
From the previous books in the series I’ve known Sibelius to be a cold hearted, stone faced, manipulative son of ***. In Under His Everything he shows that he actually has a heart that’s full of need and love for his mate Griffith. It took him years to claim his happiness, and they’ve both suffered so much. Let’s just say that Sibelius redeems himself in this book and I absolutely love Griffith. He’s funny, smart, witty, loving and resolute…the perfect mate for his headstrong alpha.
Under His Everything is the last book of the Hybrid Heat series and I’m sorry to say goodbye to these amazing shifters and their mates. I feared for their lives and watched them become an united front against their enemies, I’ve lived through strong emotions and connections ,I’ve cried, laughed and fell in love alongside them.
I loved Under His Everything and I highly recommend all the books in this series.
