From USA Today & Wall Street Journal Bestselling Author Jewel E. Ann comes Undeniably You, an angsty and unforgettable romance.
Sydney Montgomery doesn’t plan to make a career out of house-sitting.
It’s just the means to an end. In a month, she’s off to visit the galleries of Europe and finish up the degree she needs to make her career as a museum curator. The life she’s been working for is … curator. The life she’s been working for is finally within reach.
In the meantime, she’s getting paid to sip margaritas and wrangle a naughty dog poolside in California.
When the pool guy shows up with his hot body, cool persona, and eyes like iridescent blue oceans, she’s mesmerized. Except Dr. Lautner Sullivan isn’t the pool guy at all. He’s a college wide receiver turned pediatric resident that fate delivered to the wrong house.
Lautner is every girl’s dream, but Sydney is not every girl. She’s immune to rainbows, fairytales, surf-side picnics, and the “L” word.
Thirty days is all she plans to give him, but fate wants to give them forever.

That’s what Jewel is. A PERFECT writer. There’s PERFECT amount of emotion in the story. PERFECT balance of humour, angst, heartbreak, sexiness and wisdom. The cherry on top are her memorably penned lines. Ones that stay with you forever. She’s polished her craft to deliver this extraordinary love story which is one of the BEST contemporary Romance I’ve ever read
This book although is a PERFECT second chance romance. The slowburn roasts your heart on a spit. The spectrum of sentiments adds the flavour and I just gorged on the succulent affair like a starving reader.
Besides the couple, Happenstance is a major third character in the story.
Lautner Sullivan makes a wrong turn and ends up mistaken for a pool boy in the house Sydney Montgomery is house sitting for. One mistaken identity, one lascivious meeting, one day at the beach and one comical attempt at surfing later, it’s fireworks of passion day. They get stuck on each other knowing their rendezvous has an expiry date, what with their career paths going in polar opposite ways.
Sydney is seriously, I’m a disaster. I’m non-committa.l I’m a fainter. I’m a terrible drunk and I advertised my menstrual cycle to you after knowing you for only five days. you should have been yelling crazy bitch and running for the Hills
Heart & Mind battle it out fiercely and love gets wounded.
There’s a huge billboard of What If hanging in the middle of it all, blazing in garish neon.
He cracked open the door to my heart and whispered….what If
Although Lautner professes again and again I love you…..only you….. always you…… forever you somethings go wrong and gods spit on their fate. Things go so irrevocably wrong, I wanted to howl at the moon and cuss the God……or jewel.
The story moved me beyond words and I know I sound like a broken record now but seriously ALL of y’all need to get hooked on this brilliant writer’s work. One after the other she relentlessly churns out masterpiece after masterpiece.
I actually have a fangirl competition with Pam for Jewel and I’d like to believe I’m winning!
But seriously I feel privileged that I’m living in the world where Jewel exists and pounds away on her keyboard the words that change my life everyday. She’s the sole reason of my procrastination and neglect of my living world, as I’m lost in her books
The characters are marvellous
Story is perfection
Humour is top notch
Heartbreak is imminent
Tearful smiles are abundant
SEXTACULAR!!
5 stars for Phucking Medusa Blue Irises
Undeniably you

Reviews on goodreads. Amazon. The book addict (fb)
I close my eyes and all I see are blue eyes. Oh. Lautner.
I said the last book I read was my favorite. Well that just changed ! This is my favorite Jewel E Ann book.
I have to admit I had a small moment where I may have broke out the ugly cry. But hey. It was just that good..
Fate.
It all has to do with Fate ..
Do you believe in fate …
Oh I just love it … All the emotions in this book has me like
Undeniably great
Tear jerking
Heart pounding
Emotional rollercoaster
With several unexpected twists…
Yeah, that’s a pretty good summary.
Sydney doesn’t believe in fate. She believes in completing her dreams and then maybe things will work out. Fairytales aren’t real. Then she meets a man who is pretty charming, among other things. But what you need to know is Sydney is stubborn and doesn’t always (or ever) listen to her heart.
When fate smacks her upside the head, again, she misinterpret the lesson. But will fate step in again or will Sydney continue on the path she’s forcing?
This was just perfect! I want to give this 5 stars x INFINITY!
“What the hell? No he’s not. Oh dear God, yes he is. Sex on legs dives into the pool, sans shorts and underwear! The two haunting notes from Jaws sound in my head while I scramble to the surface in the opposite direction.”
It’s funny, sexy, and emotional. There were a lot of steamy moments, but the story…. OMG … the story was flawless.
When Syd’s mother lost her battle against cancer, Syd was forced to take on more responsibility for her family at a young age. Sydney is a strong independent woman reaching for success. Fate had different plans for her. When she meets Lautner, she can’t get away from him. She doesn’t want to get away from him.
“Never doubt my love for you. If I’m breathing, I’m loving you. Only you… always you… forever you.”
There’s just so much in this book. There were moments where my heart was hurting. I literally couldn’t stop reading. Undeniably You is a must read!
JEA knows how to write my kind of angst driven story. This had everything I love in a book and more. She tore my heart out and stomped on it, several times in fact. She brought it back to life with her heartfelt messages on life and happiness. She brought it back to life with the ever sexy Lautner Sullivan. Ummm, where can I find myself a Dr. Sullivan?! Yummmmmy. I fell in love with him from like day one. I absolutely loved how JEA told their storyline. She brought depth into their relationship by going from present to past and pushing that chemistry that much more. I cried for these characters. I fell in love with Lautner and was shaking my kindle when things were just not going the way I wanted 🙂 JEA has done it again to me. She always evokes such feeling from her books that I hardly ever want to put the book down. This book was absolutely no exception for me.
“This is what a last kiss feels like. Infinite emotion. Beautiful pain. All consuming. Utterly shattering.”
“Fate is real, undeniable force and not all fairytales are fictional.”
*WARNING: This book does contain cheating. SO, if that is a hard limit for you, know that going in. HOWEVER, even with that said, it is still so worth it.*

One word: Lautner
Started off with humor, which turned to romance. Lautner loved Sydney and admitted it to her numerous times but for selfish reasons and a misunderstanding in her parent’s relationship…she could not return his love. Then…the heartbreak (I was holding back the tears when he explained the box of 10 and the way they parted. The writing was exceptional. Lautner was such a heartthrob. Funny how fate works. Can’t say enough about this…just couldn’t put it down.
This was such a great story. It’s no ordinary love at first sight and they live happily ever after story. There is love, there is no doubt about that. But Sydney can’t just give up everything she’s worked toward just because Lautner showed up at her door. And with her insecurities talking in her head, she can’t admit that her heart knows best. There are plenty of ups and downs and close calls, but in the end Lautner pulls out all of her doubts and they get the HEA they both want.
One of my fav read for 2021!
This book perfectly fill my heart with angst. My lust with enough steamy to fire my sheets. All my perfect picture of love with Lautner and Sydney’s story.
Beautifully written.
Very interesting and enggaging banter.
Strong plot.
Charachters to die for.
Once again, Jewel stake her claimed for me to be her loyal devoted fan of her words.
I wanted to give this 5 stars, it’s a great book. My only problem is the immaturity of Sydney that put me off. That being said, it had nothing to do with the writing, it’s just my personal taste on how people should handle things. Lautner puts up with a lot and takes it all in stride though so I think that redeemed the book for me. I am still a huge fan of Jewel, I think her writing is beyond amazing, she has a way with throwing things at you, that you just aren’t prepared for but realize quickly you love!
One of my favorites by Jewel E. Ann.
Sydney and Lautner’s story isn’t all roses and unicorns. There is much to be said about a book that shakes you to your core and then miraculously mends your heart.
The chemistry between these two is steamy and off the charts.
Once I became emotionally attached to these two, I found myself in tears quite a bit. There were so many mishaps that kept these two apart, it had me on the verge of tossing my Kindle at the wall. I didn’t think they’d ever find their way back to each other with so much threatening to remain an Ocean between them.
I’m still shaken even though I’ve been mended. That’s what a great book does to you. The feelings it evokes remain until the next book takes over.
I’m certainly regretting not reading this book sooner. I was probably book-buy-bingeing when I picked it up and it got lost in the abyss that is my Kindle library. If you haven’t read it please do; it’s worth every agonizing chapter.
Definitely 4.5 stars.
House plus dog sitting for your Aunt and Uncle is always a good idea. Until the dog has a pooping issue and you have to take him to the vet. And he’s gorgeous! Until the pool guy shows up, and he ends up naked, but he’s unbelievably gorgeous. Only to find out he’s not the pool guy and he showed up at the wrong house. You end up hitting it off with the not so naked pool guy. You both know it’s only supposed to be a month. Until, you both fall in love. You leave anyway, and end up pregnant. Every time you attempt to tell him your pregnant something goes wrong. You end up in love with the vet, but not the way you love the pool guy. Will having a child change your thinking?
Sydney & Lautner! Ugh! These two and their story will have you up and down and every which way!
Jewel E. Ann! What a Way to bring the story around! Loved it!
Always a one click Author
Sydney is saving money for grad school by being a professional house sitter. When her aunt and uncle’s dog has digestive issues on day one she meets the good looking vet. Then to her surprise the “pool guy” Lautner rescues her off the bottom of the pool. Neither is looking for more than a fun fling. Will 30 days change their plans or will it end in goodbye?
Jewel absolutely destroyed me with Undeniably You. The first half of the book was fun and oh so sexy but the second half was so emotional. I wanted to yell at the characters and tell them they were screwing up their lives. Jewel knows how to pull you into a story and keep you up way to late reading. Amazing characters that I can’t help but love.
Absolutely loved Sydney and Lautner. Twists and turns and the unexpected is what I have come to expect.
I love story that pulls different emotions out of you. You will always get a great read from this author. I see a lot of I don’t get the high ratings, well I don’t get the low ratings ha.
Jewel slays me every time! This was the tenth book of hers that I’ve read. Every word she writes is just so damn amazing. Undeniably You is funny, sweet, sexy, and heartbreaking. I was laughing out loud, while sobbing at the same time! Highly recommend!
I went in to Undeniably You expecting fun banter, sexy, sweet.
Sydney is spending a year house and/or pet sitting while saving to finish college.
She Meets a pediatric resident and swears to keep it light and move on in a month….
There is also a cute veterinarian that she takes the dog to who is interested…
There is great sexual tension.
About midway through the book the heartache begins. A beautiful ache that draws the reader in. I loved how different this story is, unexpected! I went in thinking fun (which it is) but then came the tears!
I listened to this as a re-read on audiobook this week and enjoyed it all over again! Wonderful narration!
“My Whole. Entire. World. Is in your eyes. My past, my present, my future … it’s all there. When I’m lost, I find myself in your eyes. I see my heart beating in your eyes. I see everything beautiful about life in your eyes. I see an ocean of infinity in your eyes.”
-5 Stars!-
My review from August 13, 2016:
OMG. I loved this book. A LOT. I finished it days ago and can’t stop thinking about it! Lautner has got to be one of the best BBFs ever. Excellent writing and storytelling made this book hard to put down. Plenty of humor that had me smiling often and laughing out loud. But…it’s also full of delicious angst that had me dropping f-bombs left and right. The passion in this book was so strong and felt so real it had my heart racing. At one point I had to put my kindle down and message a friend who had already read it with “THE FU*K?!!!” So, if you’re looking for a well-written story that gives you all the feels, read this one! Added to my favorites. 🙂
This is my first book by this author and definitely won’t be my last. I absolutely fell in love with this book from the first page until the last. I was hooked all the way through and I have found a new favorite book boyfriend Sully. He stole my heart in the beginning and never let it go. This book played with my emotions all the way through one minute I was laughing so hard and the next I was in tears. This book was everything and definitely pulled me out a huge book funk I was in. Loved this book so hard everyone needs to read it and fall in love with Sully.
