From USA Today & Wall Street Journal Bestselling Author Jewel E. Ann comes Undeniably You, an angsty and unforgettable romance.
Sydney Montgomery doesn’t plan to make a career out of house-sitting.
It’s just the means to an end. In a month, she’s off to visit the galleries of Europe and finish up the degree she needs to make her career as a museum curator. The life she’s been working for is … curator. The life she’s been working for is finally within reach.
In the meantime, she’s getting paid to sip margaritas and wrangle a naughty dog poolside in California.
When the pool guy shows up with his hot body, cool persona, and eyes like iridescent blue oceans, she’s mesmerized. Except Dr. Lautner Sullivan isn’t the pool guy at all. He’s a college wide receiver turned pediatric resident that fate delivered to the wrong house.
Lautner is every girl’s dream, but Sydney is not every girl. She’s immune to rainbows, fairytales, surf-side picnics, and the “L” word.
Thirty days is all she plans to give him, but fate wants to give them forever.

This is UNDENIABLY the ultimate “what if” story. If I could give this book more than 5 stars, I would in a heartbeat, I loved it THAT much! Fate has a plan and no matter what direction your life is supposed to go in, it will ALWAYS lead you to where you are MEANT to be. That’s what UNDENIABLY YOU was about…fate and the ever looming “what if” and it makes even the unbelievers, believe. “Fate is a real undeniable force and not all fairy tales are fiction.”
I listened to this story in the audio version and let me tell you, the narrator NAILED IT! Every aspect, she was on point with. ALL POV’s, she nailed! ALL emotions, she nailed. ALL OF IT! I hope to listen to more audios by her soon. Heck, I hope all of Jewel’s books get done by her. (Tracey Marks is her name). She was that a-maz-ing! (And note, it shows I took a LONG time to finish this book…that’s ONLY because I had an arc arrive while listening and I had to painstakingly set this one aside to read my arc. But let me tell you, that did NOT take away from the story. As you can see, I LOVED this book even when I read a book in between it). If you’re interested in LISTENING to it, the audio is in the romance package, so if you have that, GET IT!
I want to gush and gush AND GUSH about this book, but please believe me when I say you MUST read it! ASAP! The characters are realistically flawed. The emotions are raw. The story is FLAWLESS! This book truly had my heart exploding and breaking, but yet left me with a cheesy grin on my face. I was experiencing everything the characters were right along with them. And man did I FEEL all of it. I LOVE getting those types of feelings while reading though! If an author can evoke such emotions in her stories, that’s a testament to her writing abilities and it makes it impossible not to love those stories. And that’s one thing I can promise while reading a book by Jewel…she will evoke feelings within you that are impossible to ignore. She delivers stories with a “one-two-punch” right in the feelers. And I am finding out REAL FAST, I CRAVE her type of pain and love. She writes the ULTIMATE BBF’s. And the main guy in this book, he has ULTIMATE BBF material, indeed!
I can wholeheartedly say, after reading only 4 of Jewel’s novels, she has jumped up to a top favorite author for me. SHE ALWAYS DELIVERS what I crave and need in a story and for that fact alone, I will continue to read her stories and I will recommend her to everyone and anyone that will listen.
If you’re wanting oodles of emotion, the perfect amount of angst, an unpredictable realistic story line and an UNDENIABLY breathtaking love story…then THIS book, is for you!
I have TONS of quotable quotes saved in my phone that I will cherish from this story. One am even considering tattooing on my body (and I don’t tattoo quotes from books, so that speaks VOLUMES), but THIS quote shattered me and mended me back together every time.
“I. Love. You. Period. It’s a goddamn soul shattering love, that will never be matched. My love for you is unapologetic and forever. I love you. ONLY you. ALWAYS you. FOREVER you.
10 “blue iris” stars!
This story undeniably took me for a ride.
A ride I enjoyed from the very beginning till the last minute.
This is everything I love in my books. The chemistry between these two characters jumps from the pages. I was laughing while falling in love. I was floating. My feet not touching the ground as I climbed higher and higher to the land of true love.
BUT we all know life ain’t perfect.
Being able to feel soo much for these characters, for their story, for their mistakes is magnificent.
I cried. I laughed. I got mad. I got my heart broken and I got my heart back together again.
Yes. It was a bumpy ride and at some I wanted off the ride. I was upset and shocked and I just didn’t see how we were gonna get back on the right smooth road. But of course I kept going AND Am I glad I did.
QUOTE “I’ve wanted many things in my life until I met you. Then I wanted nothing … except you. My existence is for you…” he looks at Ocean “…every part of you. Never doubt my love for you. If I’m breathing, I’m loving you. Only you … always you … forever you.”
I LOVE Lautner (Dr. Sullivan)
All the lost opportunities.
All the “What If’s”
~ ~ “I love You”… – I was like – “Say It!!” SAY IT!!!… Just say it already.
I won’t forget them…. I don’t think this is a good enough review of what I feel after I’ve finished and what Ifelt while reading this story
Words fail me with this book. I ought to be pissed. Jewel E. Ann reeled me in with Sydney’s comedic antics while she’s being wooed by sexy Dr. Lautner Sullivan. For the most part, I smiled and swooned my way through the first half of the book. Mid-way through, however, it’s as if a switch gets flipped and the tone takes a dramatic turn. Things become complicated, serious, and heartbreaking. And by heartbreaking I mean lump-in-throat, stomach-in-knots, yank-your-heart-out, and stomp-on-it painful. The worst part is the angst lasts throughout the entire second half, and yet I couldn’t put the book down. It’s like being unable to drive past a car wreck without looking, or having a mosquito bite you can’t stop scratching. The way the plot is orchestrated is classic bait and switch and I probably should be pissed—but I’m not because the story is so beautiful.
Every once in awhile I’ll stumble upon a book that catches me completely off guard. It’s only meant to be a light read, but it hits me at exactly the right time, pushes all my emotional buttons, and for whatever reason it simply means… more. That’s not to say the story is perfect. The heroine can be irrational at times, and a frequently-used plot device is employed that’s typically a pet peeve of mine. When executed by such a skilled storyteller as Jewel E. Ann, however, it wasn’t enough to stop me from loving the hell out of this book. The poignancy crept up on me, and the Hallmark-worthy ending had me melting in a pile of mush and clutching a wad of Kleenex.
So I guess I don’t have the words to write a great review because I really don’t want to overanalyze things. I just want to take this warm and fuzzy feeling and cuddle up with it for a little longer.
This book should come with a warning.
It started funny, light and oh so sexy…
And then it turned into a DEEPLY EMOTIONAL roller-coaster.
This book is my fourth from this author.
After the Transcend Duet ad Look The Part, I can definitely say that I’m addict to Jewel E Ann’s writing.
And if I learned something about her stories, is this:
Trust this author, go blindly.
You will fall in love, you will hurt, you will cry, and you will swoon too… and heal.
And all the journey is so worth it!
Grab this book and enjoy it through and through!

Holy moly I’m exhausted. Jewel E Ann definitely put me through the wringer with Undeniably You. It all began so well. I was laughing my ass off to Sydney and her funny one liners and her diarrhea mouth. The hot pool guy, Lautner who wasn’t a pool guy was just mouth watering and just the all around good guy.
Sydney and Lautner’s chemistry and bantering was spot on and hilarious as hell. I was all immersed in their relationship. I simply couldn’t get enough. The writing was in a league of its own, just sublime. But I knew that from reading Only Trick. Jewel E Ann knows how to capture me with her words and she definitely did with Undeniably You.
Then something happened. Sydney made a choice which I totally disagreed with and how she chose to move forward was very difficult for me. I was so close to quitting but I knew my faith in the author would win me over and a good friend wrote, that I had to keep reading so I did. Man! I’m so glad that I did cause all the heartache and the feels was worth it. I had to go through A LOT but it was definitely worth it!
This was such a beautiful story about fate and the famous words “what if”. I loved Sydney and Lautner and all the other characters. The humor was an added bonus to an emotional story. I’m an even bigger fan of Jewel E Ann. She always delivers in surprising me and leaving me absolutely satisfied.
5 BadAssDirtyWhatIfStars
Undeniably You by Jewel E. Ann is a delightful, engaging contemporary romance. I absolutely loved this book. I’ve had a paperback copy of it on my shelves for quite some time, but I’ve just now gotten around to reading it. It is on my list of books to re-read. Did I mention that I thought it was good and that I loved it?
Undeniably You is flawless chick-lit. All the characters are solid. There is just the right amount of humor. The angst is maxed out. The romance is perfect.
The story is told from Sidney’s POV. The book begins at her wedding and then flashes back to when Sydney spent a month housesitting in Palo Alto, California three years earlier. The story progresses as you’d expect….until the timeline moves back to the present. There is a big, and I mean BIG, detour from what I anticipated! I was fully engaged in the first half of the book, but the second half had me biting my nails and turning pages into the middle of the night. Did I mention the angst? Prepare for the emotional rollercoaster ride of your life!
The cast of characters is brilliant. The secondary characters richly add to the story without stealing the spotlight from the headliners. Sydney Ann Montgomery is taking a year off before she starts grad school. She is spending that year travelling and house sitting. She plans to do use her time well and achieve all the goals her late mother missed out on. Lautner Sullivan is a seriously sexy pediatric resident. This one-time college football star has goals and dreams of his own that require his full attention. He doesn’t need any distractions, but when a wrong turn lands him in the right place for an excellent “what if” opportunity, he goes with it.
Sydney and Lautner have thirty days. Thirty days for fun, romance, witty banter and hot sex. Their relationship has an end-date because Sydney will not fall into the same trap her mother did. She will not let love get in the way of her goals. She will not let this totally hunky, super romantic, awesomely sweet guy put her rigidly planned out life on a detour no matter how hard she has fallen for him.
“I. Love. You. Period. It’s a goddamn soul-shattering love that will never, ever be matched. My love for you is unapologetic and forever.”
Lautner professes his love, but the girl has plans. When 23 year old Sydney gets on that plane without fully confessing her feelings to Lautner, it isn’t the first time you want to slap some sense into her, and it won’t be the last. In reality, would I advise a 23 year old to give up their goals for a 30-day long relationship? No, but I also would not advise said 23 year old to shut the door on that relationship either.
As Sydney tearfully boards her flight to Paris, my only solace was remembering the book started with a wedding. Remember that BIG surprise I mentioned? Well, my heart is again racing just thinking about it. This is a spoiler free review so you will not get more out of me. You just cannot appreciate this story knowing more. Don’t read the spoilers with all the plot points or the end. You’ve got to live through each twist, turn, misconception, and deception to get that full-on adrenaline rush of this book.
Undeniably You is a sexy, funny, angst-filled standalone contemporary romance that will drag you through the entire spectrum of emotions. Do yourself a favor, buy the book and read it….don’t put it on the shelf until you’ve savored every single word.
4.5*
I can’t quite give this 5* because of a few minor things that are completely my issues..but my God, this book! I woke up with puffy eyes and a red nose to rival Rudolph’s…I was blown away by the feels in this book!
Undeniably You is definitely a case of don’t judge a book by its cover…there is so much more to this book than the cover, and blurb, would have you believe. It’s funny and sweet, yes, and it’s for sure sexy and incredibly hot, but it is also amazingly heartfelt and emotional…halfway through the book my heart was in my throat and the anxiety didn’t let up until the very last page. I couldn’t wait to get to the end, and I will admit to skimming just a bit in the middle because I needed to know if Lautner and Sydney were going to get their hea! I was all set to put this book aside if they didn’t, I don’t think I could have gone on, because these 2 are meant to be together!
I’d really like to know where Lautner has been all my life. And why he’s not real and knocking at my door. He’s moved himself right to the top of my bbf list for the year. Lautner’s completely swoon-worthy, he’s smart and sexy, funny and sweet, and he loves with his whole heart and soul.
Sydney is stubborn, determined, independent, and I wanted to reach into the book and give her a shake more than once! Ahh, that girl!
Oh how this book took me for a ride…laughing and swooning one minute, crying and wondering why the next. Undeniably You really needs to be read and experienced, the relationship between Lautner and Sydney is just, I don’t even have words…it’s not all glitter and unicorns, it’s real, it’s breathtaking, and it will send you reeling. But oh how worth the box of tissues I went through reading it.
This is my first book by Jewel E. Ann, but it definitely won’t be my last!
