From USA Today bestselling author Melanie Harlow comes a heartwarming childhood frenemies-to-lovers, second chance romance!
When we were eleven, Oliver Ford Pemberton dared me to jump off a barn roof. He said you couldn’t break a leg from a 12-foot-jump.He lied.(You can also break a collarbone, which served him right as far as I was concerned.) I wish I could say it was the last dare I ever took … lied.
(You can also break a collarbone, which served him right as far as I was concerned.)
I wish I could say it was the last dare I ever took from him, the last bet I ever made with him, the last time I ever trusted Oliver Ford Pemberton.
But it wasn’t.
Because he had the nerve to grow up gorgeous, charming, and sexy. And as we got older, the dares only got dirtier–and the betting stakes higher–until finally, he left me in pieces. I swore I’d never talk to him again.
But twenty years after I took that flying leap, he’s back in my life, daring me to risk everything for him: my job, my self-worth, and my heart.
How many chances does true love deserve?
“Sizzling chemistry, off the charts sexual tension and all the feels I’ve come to expect with a Melanie Harlow romance!”- Ilsa Madden-Mills, Wall Street Journal bestselling author

A sizzling page turner for sure. A 20 year friendship of Oliver and Chole that their chemistry is undeniable. They can know what each other thoughts without words being exchange. I definitely recommend reading this joy without a doubt.
This great story is a mix of friends-to-lovers-to-enemies-to-lovers-secondchances. Chloe and Oliver shared everything since they were babies and they had a strong bond but when hormones hit on their teenages years everything chance and they have this “dance” about being friends, lovers and enemies.
Chloe knows she can’t trust Oliver, he failed her once and she doesn’t want to feel like that again.
Oliver is that immature guy that always get what he wants no matter if he hurts his feelings of other’s. In this case Chloe’s, his best friend.
I loved their story and that we got the chance to know them in the past and how their friendship was and how everything turned out to be the way is now.
Neither Oliver nor Chloe are the same they were when they were close and when Oliver sees Chloe again, he knows he needs to do everything to have her back in his life.
Absolutely loved Chloe and Oliver’s story. It captured my heart from the beginning and I couldn’t put it down as it takes you through an emotional ride. I loved the connection and banter between Chloe and Oliver. The chemistry is sizzling and steamy. It’s fun sexy and entertaining and a must read!!

This friends to lovers, second chance love story will steal your heart, tear it up and piece it together again in such a beautiful way!! Melanie Harlow has again created the perfect pairing. Chloe and Oliver’s mothers were best friends which meant their kids spent a lot of time together. Oliver was always challenging Chloe to dares that she couldn’t ever say no to, getting them into trouble most of the time. As time passes their relationship evolves into more until Oliver breaks her heart in two. Around 20 years have passed and he’s back, wanting to work with her but can she trust him? He’s so hard to resist, all grown up and sexier than hell. Can Chloe forget their past and overcome the hurt she’s carried all these years?Has Oliver finally matured and become someone she can trust? This couple honestly swept me away, I loved them, hated Oliver, then loved him again. Such a great character!! Their natural and easy way together was real and believable. The plot was well developed, story line unpredictable and simply a delight to read! Melanie certainly created a delicious mix of steamy passion with a sprinkling of desperate angst that had me turning pages well into the night!! ENJOY!!!
Undeniable by Melanie Harlow is the second book in the Cloverleigh Farms series and can be read as a standalone. It tells the story of Chloe and Oliver.
Chloe and Oliver were childhood friends who had a falling out. When Chloe wants to start her own distillery she partners with Oliver, at the request of her parents. She isn’t thrilled about working with Oliver, but wants the opportunity to make her dream come true.
Once they begin their journey and the possibility of a second chance love story, past and present issues get in the way. When Ms. Harlow was describing their past, I wanted to strangle Oliver. His immaturity and dishonesty was an issue for me, but he did redeem himself.
We do get our HEA and I look forward to the next story in the series.
I thought Oliver was going to be some spoiled jerk who only cared about himself, but I was wrong. Oliver stole my heart with his love and admiration for Chloe. He would do anything for her, I think they both had to learn that.
From their dares, bickering, talks and love, Melanie showed every emotion and truth. You felt everything for them.
I loved how Chloe never backed down, she knew what she wanted. She was determined and outspoken.
You will love seeing the past and present of these two frenemies and how something they both loved brought them back together.

This series is something else! Melanie Harlow has achieved greatness with this book. She tells a story of love and hate, pure chemistry and this couple is pure combustion. Oliver and Chloe know each other since birth, they challenge and know almost everything about each other. However, Oliver is difficult and a brat to tell you the truth. There are times that I got very angry with him but reading the love that he holds in his heart for Chloe, even though he takes a while to get there, is almost heartbreaking. Melanie Harlow gives us a wonderful love story, well written that makes you cheer for this couple and at the same time cry and see how love is built slowly.
A wonderful book!!!
Chloe is ready to take over the reins at her family’s farm. She has big plans for it. She doesn’t have time for that lying, no good, sexy as hell Oliver Ford Pemberton. She learned the hard way, how much of a liar he is when they were kids. Now that they’ve grown up, is it possible that he’s changed?
What a fantastic read! I was mesmerized by these two amazing characters and their journey. I wanted to strangle Olivier one second and was swooning the next. I loved every exquisite word. This book will captivate you and have you hooked in no time. An absolute MUST READ!!
4.5 ”All I Want Is You” Stars!
Chloe Sawyer is a beautiful, independent, single 32 yr. old woman who grew up in Michigan. She comes from a big, loving family, and is one of five sisters. She is dedicated to the family business Cloverleigh Farms, were they run a farm, winery, inn, and wedding venue. Chloe is currently in charge of the marketing and PR, as well as managing the tasting rooms at the winery, but her dream has always been to have her own distillery at Cloverleigh. Suddenly an opportunity comes her way and everything she’s wanted is in reach, but it requires her to put her faith in the one person she can’t trust.
Oliver Pemberton is a wealthy, charming, playboy who lives and works in Detroit. Chloe has known him since they were born, and their families have always been close since their mothers were best friend’s. She’d once believed they were soulmates, and had been prepared to give him everything until he broke her heart. In the past, every time they got close to having something real it blew up in their faces, and he somehow always managed to disappoint her in the end. If she was going to have to be around him again, she had to not let her emotions get the best of her like they always did where he was concerned. He was older and even more gorgeous than she remembered, and he had always been her one weak spot. The one guy she could never resist.
Chloe and Oliver were both headstrong, competitive, and challenged each other. They ran hot and cold, but they had a history and bond that was never broken no matter how many years passed. She’d always had questionable judgement with Oliver, and when they were together she seemed to throw caution to the wind, so when he wants one more chance will she risk her heart and trust him again?
Undeniable by Melanie Harlow is book two in the Cloverleigh Farms series. It’s an all new, sexy standalone enemies to lovers romance about forgiveness and second chances. I really enjoyed this story as it goes from then to now and we get to watch Chloe and Oliver’s relationship change and grow from children to adults. It’s full of unbelievable chemistry, humorous banter, friendship and love.
A non spoiler review…..
A great story about lifelong friends, with a little angst and a lot of love and just a sprinkle of humor! I loved this book!
Melanie has a way with writing characters that you can’t get enough of. Chloe is strong and fiercely loyal.
Oliver has definitely had so many opportunities to redeem himself. He’s hard to love at first but isn’t that what makes a great book? (Trust me you will love Oliver)
Melanie has a way with creating characters you love to hate and love to love.
Her stories are always filled with strong sexy men and woman. Her characters are always so relatable and easy to connect with.
Secondary characters you can’t help but want know, and storytelling that keeps wanting more. That’s what she’s given us with Undeniable.
4.5*
There’s really nothing better than a second chance-childhood friends romance, at least for me, anyway. And I loved Chloe and Oliver’s story, which was a bit more along the lines of frenemies turned lovers. I enjoyed going back in time, seeing the progression, and regression, of their friendship. I enjoyed their banter, the arguing, the back and forth. And I have to say, I really adored Oliver, flaws and all. I know he might be a bit much for some, but he’s just so endearing and charming, he won me completely over.
Undeniable is a fun, light-hearted (mostly!), easy-breezy summery read. Chloe and Oliver had such great chemistry, it’s no wonder the connection between them never fizzled out, even years later. I loved how Oliver went about worming his way back into Chloe’s good graces, just to kind of screw it up all over again. Even with that, their story wasn’t one that had a lot of unnecessary drama. It was just two people working their way back to each other, with a few little bumps in the road to get there. I finished Undeniable with the biggest grin on my face.
This series is fast becoming one of my all time favourite’s I love the whole atmosphere of life at Cloverleigh Farm, I love the characters, the banter and the love and loyalty they all have for each other. This book is a bit different from the first, the story of Undeniable is spread over many years and the chapters switch between past and present and I have to say that worked so well because I felt getting to know the past Chloe and Oliver shared was needed to make this become the perfect read.
Chloe and Oliver have known each other since birth, they shared many firsts including broken bones but as they grew up so they grew apart and he became the sort of man Chloe hated or so she thought.
Is this a friends to lovers I would say no it’s more of a frienemies to lovers because deep down this couple still share the friendship that had growing up it just takes some pushes from Gran for them to realise it……
A sweet romance that has plenty of witty banter and just the perfect mix of passion, it’s a story that will make you swoon and smile so you should certainly check it out and I can’t wait for book 3.
Absolutely love the love hate relationship. Absolutely amazing. I love Oliver. Melanie has done it again such a great book. Loved every second didn’t want it to end. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book
For Oliver and Chloe rather they knew it or not it was love at first sight. From a young age they shared pivotal moments together that would later shape their future. Oliver was the careless trust fund and Chloe was his best friend. They both pushed each other with dares but one dare would change everything. It open their eyes to what they want but they would spend years of heartbreak but still in love. Their parents set up a business deal that would force them together. How they would respond is at first a surprise but both of them was aware of strong physical attraction to each other. That then snowballs into a complication that neither of them may be able to heal from.
Melanie Harlow keeps the feels flowing in this 4.5 star second chance romance. Undeniable (Cloverleigh Farms #2) has all the angst, humor and romance you need for the perfect beach read.
I didn’t want to mount this book down. The main characters have known each other since they were kids. They were always getting into scrapes and mischief. As they got older the mischief changed and feelings started to grow from just friendship to something deeper. But being young and immature Oliver messes up and breaks Chloe’s heart to many times. She’s written him off…until one day years later Oliver has a proposition she can’t refuse even though she’s reluctant to trust him. Can’t Chloe let go of her insecurities of the past and trust that Oliver has changed and can be trusted?
I was so excited to read Undeniable (Cloverleigh Farms#2) and I couldn’t wait to get lost in Oliver and Chloe’s story. Undeniable is a creative, funny and feel good second chance/enemies to lovers romance that you can’t help but love.
Oliver and Chloe are childhood friends with a history of a complicated relationship that had sporadic steamy and passionate moments throughout the years. These two frustrated me sometimes with their stubborn behavior and there were a few times that I wanted to punch Oliver in the face. I was rooting for them hard to get their act together as they were meant be together. Their chemistry, passion and connection truly is Undeniable.
Ms. Harlow did an amazing job with this book as there are hilarious moments, witty banter with an engaging and enjoyable storyline that sucks you in immediately. I loved everything about Undeniable, especially the epilogue. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series.
Wonderful sparks!
Melanie Harlow’s Undeniable is a fun, witty, story of 2 people who grew up together, and eventually accept each other with all their quirks and issues. This is a second chance novel with enemies to friends to lovers all rolled in together. Chloe and Oliver shared a first kiss when they were 6 and decided they would never kiss anyone ever again. Although, that was not realistic, it sets the stage for all the competition between the two children. It was a dare to jump off a roof that landed them in the hospital each with their own injuries. But as they journey through life, they determine that if one decides to jump, the other will as well. Oliver and Chloe have a whirlwind, sex-filled weekend in their mid twenties, culminating with them determining to start their own whiskey distillery and planning a future together. But Oliver runs! He runs from the feelings between them and the commitments they were making. Chloe on the other hand, jumped right in, only to be left feeling abandoned and stupid for believing in a future with Oliver.
In present day, Oliver convinces Chloe’s father to set up a partnership with Chloe. The anger and betrayal stands between the 2, but Oliver is determined to overcome the past. After the 2 discover their feelings are still there and they plan a future partnership in a whiskey distillery (again), Oliver once again destroys Chloe’s trust by proposing to her within a few days of them reconnecting.
This story flips back and forth in time and flips between Oliver’s and Chloe’s point of view, to give the reader the perspective of the past and present, and the 2 main characters. Although I thought I would hate this, I found it easy to follow, and enjoyed watching what made the characters the people they are today. The love between these 2 was (as the title indicates) Undeniable. The story is fun and easy to read, while the secondary characters (particularly Gran!) make this book feel like a family we know and love.
I received an ARC copy of this book and am voluntarily reviewing it. All opinions expressed in this review are my own and given freely.
4.5 Stars
I just adored this book! Undeniable is a great enemies-to-lovers, second chance story. Chloe and Oliver are childhood friends who have pushed and pulled each other their whole lives. This has led to many ups and downs in their relationship and sometimes if felt like they would never get back on track and stay there. It’s a story about second and third and fourth (etc.) chances and learning to love and trust. And that banter! Ugh it was so good! It was definitely classic Melanie with hot and spicy mixed with a bunch of sweet and swoony and some laughs thrown in. I definitely recommend picking up this book if you are a fan of Melanie’s or enjoy some excellent back and forth between characters!
Another great book by Melanie Harlow. With their moms being best friends Oliver and Chloe were always thrown together. The two were constantly getting into trouble together. Now they are grown and they are being thrown together again. This time for business. For Chloe to reach her goal of opening a distillery she has to team up with Oliver, become partners in business. With secrets and old hurts can the couple make things work? Great characters, with a fun storyline. Really enjoyed it.
