Although this can be read as a stand-alone, I think I would have enjoyed it better if I had read the first books in the series. Saying that I did enjoy it. It was a short but packed with action. If you are a fan of MC stories than this is one for you.
Within the pages of Uncut readers will find themselves reunited with their favorite couple from Undeniable, Ryan and Cassidy, and their new bundle of joy. When we were last with these two Ryan had made the excruciating decision to leave behind the club to create a safer future with the love of his life and their child. Leaving behind everything he knew to start a new life with Cassidy was the toughest thing he ever had to do, but the Unacceptables insured him that their would always be a spot open for him if he changed his mind. But he never thought reuniting with them would come so soon, or because of the danger threatening to take his family away..
Uncut is an emotionally charged tale that is sure to pull you in from the first page and hold you hostage until the last; with danger lurking on every page you can’t help but be mesmerized with this one! I loved revisiting these two, I couldn’t wait to see how the safer life their were seeking was treating them, and learn a little more about their reunion; what I wasn’t expecting thought was the danger, so that was a nice little surprise. Have to say this one had some nice little surprises, lots of steamy times, and of course the heartfelt emotion I have come to expect with this series… definitely a fun, well rounded read! Highly recommend!
I requested an advanced copy of this title, and I am voluntarily leaving my honest opinion.
Ryan was asked a favor by Buck to store something in his warehouse but he wasn’t happy about it, and told him it was a one time deal. Cassie was planning a surprise birthday party for Ryan when tragedy strikes.
Another amazing book in Kristen’s MC series!!! Her books always pull you in and leave you wanting more!!! Read and enjoy!!!
This was a great addition to the Unacceptables family! Loved seeing more of Ryan and Cassidy as they navigate through life not being in the club and raising a family. But once you leave you never really leave. Seeing the brotherhood of the club when they rally behind Ryan after things went south was amazing and a great sense of family. As always, would have LOVED for it to be longer because I cannot get enough of Mazzola’s words and the MC! A must read if you are fan of the Unacceptables!
3.5 stars to Uncut by Kristen Hope Mazzola
Quite honestly, I struggled with this book. Ax was a character I desperately wanted to love. His sacrifices for his family were honorable, yet I felt disconnected with his character. His struggles with what he wanted versus what was best for his family were realistic, but I was hoping his character while struggling still had more alpha tendencies to him, especially being from an outlaw MC. The brotherhood stood by him in spite of his past decisions, the sense of family being undeniable from with this group of brothers.
Every time I pick up a book by Kristen Hope Mazzola I know I’m in for something amazing. As always, Uncut was perfection. Packed with incredible heat, beautiful love, and action that keeps you on the edge of your seat. She manages to pack what most people require hundreds of pages to do in a much shorter length, but still leaves you satisfied just as much.
I already fell in love with Ryan and Cassidy in Undeniable, but I fell even more in love with them while reading Uncut. They have this true, soul deep, down to your bones kind of love that just pours from the pages. Mix that in with moments that have you gasping and you’ve got the perfect quick read that has you dying for more!
Uncut is everything I’ve come to expect from this author. It’s a great combination of sweet and sexy with a dash of danger thrown in. For such a quick read, there’s a lot of emotion and that building tension of knowing something is coming is ever present. Ax is a brilliant contradiction – A sweet and sexy family man who changes diapers and treats his love like a queen, and an absolutely ruthless judge, jury, and executioner ready at moments notice to take care of business. Once again, Mazzola has taken all those things about the MC life that we’re taught to deem unacceptable and paired them with a group of men who know what it means to be loyal and are willing to do whatever it takes to protect those close to them. Add in the women who accept them just as they are and it makes for one exciting read that is impossible to put down.
Another hit by Kristen Hope Mazzola! It was nice to see two great characters again and experience the next chapter in their love story. If you are a fan of the Unacceptables or the Delta Forces novellas, you can’t pass up this new tale!
I love Kristen Hope Mazzola’s way of sucking you into the world of MC. Her Unacceptable MC books are amazing quick reads that pull you right in. I love that In Uncut we get more Ryan and Cass. Watching Ryan “Ax” step back from his role in MC world for family life is so honorable. Cass is nothing but supportive all around and their love is so strong. You get an amazing continuation of their story in this one. You may leave the MC but the bond is always there with the brothers. Such an amazing read.
Uncut is part of Kristen Hope Mazzola’s series about the Unacceptables. I wouldn’t read it as a standalone myself because I like knowing the history of these character and they’re books all intertwine, but it could be read as such.
This short novella continues the story of Ax and Cass, and give a glimpse into the family life he left the Unacceptables for. How’s that working out for him? You’ll have to read to find out.
