“Love doesn’t come around every day. You’ve got to hold onto it with everything you’ve got.” As part owner in a PI firm that specializes in matters of the heart, the rules are simple. I catch cheaters and vet potential suitors. I don’t fall in love, especially with the man I’m hired to investigate. Only, that’s become a problem. As one case moves beyond professional, I find myself fighting an … find myself fighting an attraction I cannot resist. This hunky, tatted muscle man is hiding a wicked sense of humor and generous spirit behind his six pack. The more I learn about him, the more I want him for myself.
But I can’t break the rules, even if I’ve uncovered love in the most unexpected of places.
Uncovering Love is the first in a series, but can also be read as a standalone.

outstanding
This was the cutest book ever! I fell in love with all of these characters! Jon, Evie, and Kate. I loved their friendships and their interactions. I wish I was part of their group. I loved Evie’s good nature. Oh, and Tate?! *fan girl over here* I felt torn throughout the book but Tate definitely won me over as a reader. This book has it all – romance, comedy, friendship, steaminess, and writing that kept me wanting more.
I can’t wait to read on for Kate’s story!
I found Uncovering Love to be entertaining as well as a little puzzling at times. I have to applaud Kacey in her unique way of presenting different characters points of view. It left me a little confused at first but I caught on rather quickly. Her story line was original, her characters were realistic and loveable, in fact I think I developed a girl crush on Kate. She was bold, had a kick ass sense of humor and was downright entertaining. Needless to say, I cannot wait to read the next book about Kate. Of course this book was about Evelyn and Tate but Kacey did an excellent job piquing interest for the next book. I loved the relationship between Evelyn, Kate, and Jonathon, they were so funny together and very loyal to one another.
I really liked Evelyn aka QT as well, she was sassy, intelligent, and beautiful yet didn’t seem aware of her beauty. She is a loyal friend to both Kate and Jonathon. Although there seem to be at times a little more than a platonic relationship between her and Jonathon. She possessed bravery and courage when it came to venturing into a new line of business and I found myself cheering for her and Jonathon’s business to thrive.
Tate which is Evelyn’s love interest was intelligent, sincere, loving towards his family and Evelyn, and of course sexy. He cause my heart to melt quite a few times, because he was so sweet in every way to Evelyn. I do wish he would have been a little more dangerous or commanding and he would have been the complete package.
I enjoyed the book, it kept me engrossed and the story flowed. I wish there would have been more sexual tension and steam throughout. Hopefully we will see more of that with Kate and Jonathon. I think they have the ability to be combustible right from the beginning. This is a great book for someone looking for a good laugh and a sweet romance.
This book was very romantic I fell in love with the characters will recommend to all my romantic friends
I did not finish it – did not hold my interest
I really didn’t know where this story was going. I didn’t read the synopsis, so I had no clue who would end up with whom. I kept waffling between Evie and Jon, Evie and Tate, and Jon and Kate. I couldn’t put the book down until I got the answers I needed.
This was another great story by Kacey Shea. I loved her character development and world building. I loved the easy friendships between everyone and the progression of their relationships. The PI aspects were exciting, and I liked how Evie and Jon worked together and used their varying strengths to solve their cases. I loved the easy connection that Evie felt with Tate and how similar they were. And Kate was the perfect best friend in her support and understanding of Evie in all aspects of her life.
