If you love angst, sexy suspense, this one is a must-read!
I Harper
5 STARS!
Unconscious Hearts, the first book in a brand new series from Harper Sloan reminded me exactly why I love this woman’s writing!! This book was the perfect combination of angsty, sexy, and suspense!
Of course a strong female character could not be far behind. Ari Daniels is fierce and feisty. She’s inherited her mother’s shop and her love for fashion, which in turn brings a strapping, brooding alpha into her life. But Ari continues to suffer from old wounds that you gradually see heal thanks to one certain man.
A man named Thorn Evans.
Sweet baby Jesus, Thorn is basically a God. A big, tattooed, closed off alpha God who also carries scars from his past, but one look at Ari and he knows he wants more then he could ever imagine.
Two broken souls embark on a journey together, taking risks along the way. With an explosive connection, tons of sexiness, and an orange tabby cat named, Dwight and you have the recipe for success!! And those memorable secondary characters? Harper makes you want their stories too!! It has been stated that this is Harper’s best work to date and I couldn’t agree more. Harper has this ability to make you feel everything all at once. Unconscious Hearts is an intriguing, emotional page turning must read!!
Prepare for a story that hits hard, digs deep, and holds tight. Unconscious Hearts is a powerful romance with an alpha hero and a magnetic heroine that you’ll immediately fall for. Ari is a solitary woman; she has her store and her cat to keep her humble and her busy work life makes her happy. While there’s a heartbreak in her past that shares a darker secret, she’s trying to move on and find happiness in herself. Then he walks in to her shop. Covered in leather, dripping with sin, smelling like temptation. Thorn is made for lustful nights and stirs something in Ari she hasn’t felt for a long time.
Thorn doesn’t date. But the instant he set his sights on Ari Daniels he’s tempted to lay the world at her feet for just one night. It’s coincidence he found her shop, and the temptress wants to strike a bargain to finalize their deal. He just has to convince her that a night in his bed is worth the millions he’s selling her. As Thorn and Ari finally give in to desires their chemistry will set pages and e-readers on fire! Thorn is seriously sexy and if you think this classy man’s intense stare and powerful aura was enough…wait until he uses his 30 seconds to win Ari (you’ll need a glass of water…ICE water).
I love that Sloan slowly reveals the truth behind both Thorn and Ari’s past as well as why they initially fight their attractions to one another. There’s no huge history dump as you’re reading; you get discover why these characters are the way they are as if you were slowly learning about them as a friend in their world. Thorn decided to win Ari fully but her past is a big stone to push. As we catch glimpses of an evil lurking, you know the climax is going to be dark and cataclysmic. The power behind just how hard Torn and Ari are willing to fight for each other is unstoppable. I couldn’t put down this dark romance not just for the passion in each page but for how hard it pulls you in and has you begging for what comes next and that’s why it’s my latest 5 Star Read!
5 He Makes Her Heart Come Alive Stars!!!
This book right here is why Harper Sloan is in my Top 5 favorite authors!! With this first book in her newest series, Ms. Sloan has given us a world and characters that have seeped into my soul. Thorn Evans is a man that’s used to getting what he wants and with his first interaction with Ari Daniels his world is forever changed.
I love Ari so much. She’s vulnerable, somewhat damaged and very cautious with who she lets into her world thanks to a betrayal by someone she never expected and heartbreak due to a tragedy. She has beauty and grace that transcends beyond what we see on the outside. And when Thorn comes barreling into her life, she’s not sure what’s happened, but she’s not the same afterwards.
I literally consumed this book because I fell in love with Thorn and Ari and how they challenge each other at every turn and when there’s something on the line, a bet ensues that brings their attraction to a head…
“A shirtless Thorn Evans, looking like the answer to every woman’s prayers….when he starts moving with a grace I never would have expected from a man his size. I’ve never, not once, seen a man move like he was part of the music. His whole body creating a lust-filled energy of pure sexual demand making the room thick with erotic cravings.”
And thus begins what’s supposed to a one-night thing and turns into so much more. The more neither of them were expecting nor looking for….
“You, the man who my heart came alive for, have no idea just how amazing you are.”
Once they’re on this road, it may be bumpy but it’s filled with overwhelming passion and an eroticism that Ms. Sloan is a master of writing. Being part of this couple’s journey to a love that is so strong it eclipses so many sorrows and fears is a beautiful journey.
Thorn is a man that is strong and unfailing in his devotion to this woman and anyone or anything that gets in their way will be very sorry. This is put to the test when there’s a little bit of suspense in this book and getting the shock of a lifetime when it all comes to fruition had my mouth literally hanging open.
What it all comes down to is that Ms. Sloan have given us characters that I connected with, that I fell in love with and want so much more of. I’m fully invested in their world and can’t wait to read the next book in this brand new series.
A new series by Harper Sloan? Uhhh, heck yeah!
I loved Ari and Thorn!! This was a slightly different writing for Ms. Sloan. While she maintains her signature of sexy, alpha males and quirky and funny heroines, the story in it self was different.
I’m not a fan of spoilers, that will just take away the reading experience, but I will say this was a new, deeper writing for Harper Sloan. Both characters are complex, which means this story has small dose of angst. Well, that shouldn’t be surprising… the title is Unconscious Hearts.
I loved this book. I loved how the words and the story itself lured me and had me invested. What I love even more? There’s more to come. The supporting characters, (*cough, cough, WILDER*) have my attention.
This is a story you need to add to your reads.
Great new series and can’t wait for more
Unconscious Hearts is such a difficult book to review- not because I didn’t like it; quite the contrary, I absolutely loved it! It was so different than so many other books!
I loved loved loved Thorn~ he was so alpha! And the way that he was with Ari- the two of them were perfect together! I think these are the best characters that Harper Sloan has written!
I definitely recommend Unconscious Hearts!
Oh my goodness gracious, this book was stupendous. It was suspenseful, had all the feels, I couldn’t get enough. I love these new characters Harper introduced to us and can’t wait to see what else she has in store for them. I have read all of her books that preceded this and have been in love with corps security since I first got my hands on Axel, but Thorn and Ari may be my new favorite couple. Following their broken journey and watching them pick up the pieces and help one another become whole was simple amazing. Nobody writes sassy female and alpha male like Harper. Don’t wait to grab this masterpiece. It’s truly a masterpiece.
When Harper announced this book I was over the moon. There has not been a book that Harper has written that hasn’t been On Point… So no doubt I needed this book now….
Let’s start with how fucking Gorgeous this cover is. I can’t wait to add it to my Harper Sloan Collection. I Freaken Couldn’t put this book down. It was that addicting. I devoured it in one sitting…. Harper’s Best Work Yet….
Ladies no words I put down here or Reviews you read will do this book Justice. I just trusted the Talented Harper Sloan and went in blind. Best decision I made.
This book from the first page traps your attention. OMG Ladies the words written were utterly entertaining, the scenes set were Titterlating, the chemistry was fucking Scorching and the Nail biting was endless. I couldn’t turn the page fast enough. You are always at the edge of your seat waiting to see WTF happens next.
Thorn and Ari are characters that were tarnished by pasts they couldn’t control. It’s such a heartbreaking past that these two are literally on standstill mode in their lives.
That’s until they meet and from that moment there is an unbreakable connection between them.
These two are meant for each other. They were meant to heal and save each other.
Them meeting was the beginning of the rest of their lives, the Beginning if there Beautiful HEA.
I am so so inlove and Gaga For Thorn Evans. He is the kind of man that dreams are made of. He is the Prince charming little girls Dream of just a whole Lot Hotter.
He will give you Life….
A must mention also is the side characters that you will damn adore and will be smiling like a loon when you know who’s book is next.
P.S enjoy the Awesome surprise you get at the end of this book. It’s a little slice of heaven.
Enjoy!!!!
4.5 Babe stars
Harper Sloan never fails to astound me with the power, strength and potency of the emotions she’s able to evoke from me with every single thing that she writes. And at the same time, fall head over heels in love right along with her characters. Unconscious Hearts gave me a hero—one purely alpha male—so raw and sweet, to fawn over and become obsessed with, and a heroine, so painfully shattered yet hopeful, to adore and cheer on until the very last page. This book was alluring through and through—it had me savoring every moment and had my heart speeding up for so many different reasons all throughout.
“Something so simple as seeing a beautiful stranger across the room had hit me right in the chest and changed my life… starting the wheels in motion to heal hers and, fuck, probably mine too.”
From the very beginning, Thorn and Ari’s chemistry wasn’t just your plain ole spark and sizzle—theirs was beyond inevitable and electrifying enough to leave small flares going off from the tips of your fingers down to your toes even after you’ve reached the end of the book. What they have? It’s palpable and mesmerizing; a fire that damn well lingers in you.
“Woke my heart up, Ari. Beats for only you now.”
And Thorn Evans—good god almighty. He was so intense and all alpha male—taking control when he wants and needs to—but he was also the sweetest ever. There’s not a chance your heart, panties and ovaries would survive after reading this book without getting incinerated or melting into a puddle of goo on the floor. Nope. Not when you meet this heart-stealing, soul-snatching hunk of a man.
Unconscious Hearts is a tale of two very broken and battered souls coming together and forming one devastatingly beautiful kind of love. It was passionate. It was gritty. It was HOT. When you dive into this, make sure to hold on to everything that you have because there’s also one massive twist near the end that will knock you clear out of your seat.
4 ‘Future of beauty’ Stars!
ARC provided by the author via Ink Slinger PR in exchange for an honest review.
I’ve been a fan of Harper Sloan since I read her first book in the Corps Security series so, as you can imagine, I am always excited when there is news on a new series by hers. I was definitely curious about the Hearts of Vegas series because Harper said she had this story on her head for the longest time. And now I can say, I am oh-so-curious to get to know more about all the characters she presented!
So, Unconscious Hearts is the first installment of the Hearts of Vegas series and it’s a sexy, thrilling and with some suspense contemporary romance. This love story is focused on Paris ‘Ari’ Daniels, a successful businesswoman who is still grieving the loss of her parents and all the consequences that came with it, and Thorn Evans, the man that will change everything for her after having a steamy one night stand. Thorn also is a very mysterious man who hides many difficult bits from his past. Both these people are not in a good place to have a relationship but after their instant connection that night, Thorn will do everything in his power to get Ari. And that is the start of this captivating love story!
“Day by day, Ari. Give me that, and I promise, no matter how long we’re meant to explore this, I’ll do everything to make sure you don’t feel pain.”
I really love Harper Sloan’s writing and how she always introduces new and fantastic characters on her series. I am surely interested on all we can get about these characters but now let’s focus on Ari and Thorn’s love story. I do have to say it took me a while to connect with this couple. The introduction felt rushed to me as well as their one night stand. Also the story felt a little bit slow at the start. However, that changed completely by half of the novel to me because.. Holy mother, things get interesting! The novel got emotional, it got super suspenseful and, of course, (let’s not forget) sexy AF! I loved getting to know everything about Ari and Thorn’s past, I love how they connected because of it and how they always put the love they feel for each other first. I loved the surprises towards the end and that super cute and sexy bonus ending!
My heart wasn’t unconscious anymore.
No.
Now it was beating for everything.
Therefore, I am rating Unconscious Hearts with 4 STARS because I found it a good start to Harper’s new series. I loved all these characters and, even though at the start it felt a bit slow, I definitely connected with Ari and Thorn’s stories. I loved them together and how they build a beautiful family. And, as I said, I am so curious about Piper and Wilder and I do hope London gets a story too! So, if you are a Harper Sloan fan, you have to check out her newest release, for sure!
Can a person’s life change in just 30 seconds? Can a person who has been buried in pain for seven long years find a way to move on…to live life fully after being held down by fear, regret, and guilt for an abundance of time? Can a man who is used to getting what he wants by simply being himself put the effort in to get beneath a woman’s perfectly constructed mask and see her for more than just a sexual release? Can two broken people wake one another up and prove to each other that their ‘more’ doesn’t have to cripple them or keep them at arm’s length from everyone?
Harper Sloan goes back to her writing roots in her new Hearts of Vegas series; Unconscious Hearts brings the steam, drama, and suspense that fans of Sloan have come to adore about her storytelling, and Ari Daniels and Thorn Evans are two dynamic main characters who find everything they never knew they wanted and needed in one another.
Ari is definitely my kind of heroine. She’s been through hell, but she still endures…she still gets through the day, and even though she’s sometimes crippled by the memories of what’s been done to her, stuck in the aftermath of other people’s words and deeds, with a little push from her best friend and some soul searching, she takes the risk to open her heart again, hoping against hope that Thorn Evans will not break her heart but rather free it from the prison it’s been in for the past 7 years.
Thorn is an alpha male to his core, and while sometimes, his actions and behavior is over the top, there are reasons behind his overbearing and arrogant ways. He brings Ari back to life; he helps her to heal…to see herself as the beautiful person that she is. He gives her back her life…her desire…her confidence, and each and every day, Thorn proves just how special she is to him and how she can count on his love and his devotion to her.
I loved witnessing Ari and Thorn’s journey – one that began with an instant attraction and a 30 second bet that categorically changed both of their lives for the better. The insights readers receive as Ari and Thorn define and redefine their relationship allows us to understand what’s at stake for both of them and why they’re willing to take a risk with each other when they’ve never wanted to in the past. The things that this couple must encounter are not easy, but the fact that they hold steadfast to one another speaks to what they’re building and how everything is different now that they’ve found each other, which makes the fact that they’re fighters all the more important for what they’re confronted with through Unconscious Hearts.
I can’t write a review of this book without mentioning the secondary characters and their influence and effect on Ari and Thorn. Ari’s best friend, Piper, and Wilder, a man who has been by Thorn’s side since they were young play pivotal roles in Ari and Thorn’s lives. These two people are instrumental in forcing their best friends to face their pasts in order to see and understand that their futures don’t have to be anything like their lives have been, and it’s Piper’s constancy at Ari’s side…Piper’s ability to be honest with her long-time friend and push Ari to confront her heartbreak and stop using it as a crutch to remain in neutral when it comes to moving forward and finally living again.
Unconscious Hearts is told from both Ari and Thorn’s perspectives, so readers get their backstories, their truths, their honest feelings firsthand, which is necessary in order to understand the choices these two have made and what seems to be holding them back from love and from life.
I can’t wait for book two in Harper Sloan’s Las Vegas Hearts series, and I’m hoping that Piper and Wilder’s story is up next because those two have been dancing around each other since their first encounter, and while I know there are obstacles standing in their way, they both deserve happiness, which I think they can find in one another!
4.5 Poison Apples
Man, don’t you just love Harper Sloan’s alpha characters?! I’ve been a fan of her work since the Security Corps series and I was so excited when she announced her newest series, Hearts of Vegas. And first up in this series is Ari and Thorn! Uhhhh major points for the hottest hero and heroine names, Harper! They’re definitely ones that I’ve yet to see in this romance world and I’m completely in love with it.
I have to say that after reading the synopsis and then finishing this book, it really didn’t give anything away at all and it kept me guessing the entire time. Two characters with painful pasts, meeting on chance in a club, where not a single word was exchanged, but lustful eyes for one another. In a way, fate brought them together when Thorn is desperately in need to get rid of an extensive purse collection inherited from his grandmother, so he heads to Ari’s consignment shop to start the process.
With Thorn’s collection amounting to millions of dollar and throwing in a little deal that will hopefully end up with her in his bed, Ari finds it necessary to draw up a contract to keep things completely clear between them. With the undeniable attraction between them, Ari makes it known that she doesn’t just want him for his money. And Thorn has the idea that he can make her beg in less than 30 seconds. And boy let me tell you, the scene where he tries to get her to beg is probably my absolute favorite. It not only gave a little insight into what Thorn use to do in his younger days, it’s soooo damn hot. Two words: Magic Mike, anyone?! Which made it nearly impossible for Ari to resist.
I genuinely liked their story, Ari and Thorn’s pain is darn heartbreaking, but I loved Thorn’s patience with Ari as she needed time to completely open herself up to him. Her wounds ran deep and it would be a while until she was fully healed. Being the alpha that he is, I loved his ferocity towards protecting not only Ari, but her best friend Piper. Anyone close to Ari was an automatic in with his protection.
The surprising element in this story was the third POV that’ll keep you guessing on who it actually is. My guess probably changed like three times and I was completely shocked when it was revealed in the end. I’ll admit, it confused me a bit and wondered if it was necessary. But it still kept me interested to know more. Let’s just say you’ll be introduced to the next two books to come in this series, which will leave you wanting more.
It’s been a while since I’ve read a good book with an even better alpha, but Harper Sloan writes them so well, we really shouldn’t be surprised. The pacing was slow at times and around 60%, it almost felt like Ari and Thorn’s story came full circle, which kept me wondering what was going to happen next or if the other shoe was going to drop. However, even though this was a contemporary read, I liked that there was a bit of mystery and suspense thrown in.
I gotta say that I’m completely invested in this series, by the end, you’ll know whose story is up next and you’ll be impatiently waiting for it. If you love Sloan’s alpha male characters, you’ll definitely love this one. Unconscious Hearts is story about two being perfectly matched who suffer from painful pasts and taking a journey together towards healing.
Ari Daniels owns the very high end resale boutique, Trend, with her best friend, Piper. But Ari is extremely lonely in the world. After a terrible tragedy, she closed her heart off from love and hides her pain. That was years ago. Enter strip club owner Thorn Evans. He’s tall, dark, handsome, and a bit mysterious. Thorn is a player, but he decides he wants Ari. A business deal turns a very personal and the heat between these two is white hot! Can Ari open her heart to Thorn? You’ll definitely want to read and find out!
Unconscious Hearts is classic Harper Sloan and I love it! This book has a dark element that includes some suspense as well as sexy scenes and fantastic characters. I really look forward to the next book with Piper and Thorn’s best friend, Wil.
4 steamy stars for Unconscious Hearts
I absolutely devoured Unconscious Hearts by Harper Sloan, the first book in her Hearts of Vegas series. I hope I can give this review the justice it deserves. This is a love story of second chances and hope, but also an emotional roller coaster.
Ari Daniels is barely living. She is grieving and feels all alone, even as she has the most amazing best friend that has always stood by her. She has known incredible loss and continues to grieve. Her heart is just off limits and closed off. But when she meets Thorn, can she put the regret and guilt swallowing her behind her and finally move forward?
Thorn Evans. What can I say about him? He is the first male hero in a long time that completely knocked me over and made me fall in love with him. Literally. I will fight anyone for him and yes, I do know he is fictional. He was perfect. Just perfect. PERFECT! He was all kinds of arrogant, sexy, protective and possessive. He never wanted forever, but one look at her and everything changed.
Ari runs a high-end luxury store in Vegas that specializes in second hand items. Though she previously saw Thorn in a nightclub, they first meet when he comes to her store. Let me tell you the sparks fly. Thorn is a man who enjoys his life and all the perks, but one look at Ari and he knows she is different. But Ari is not ready to let go of the demons that haunt her. But something about Thorn also calls to her in a way nothing ever has before. After a bet and a very steamy and sexy night together, she runs.
Can Thorn help her see what they could have together if only she would let him in? And what of the demons in her past that are not ready to let her go? I want to scream at the top of my lungs, run, run and read this book, you will not regret. I loved Thorn and Ari’s journey so much. It was emotional, but so heartfelt as well. This couple was meant to be together. And the way he demands a kiss, well I would kneel at his feet without question.
Unconscious Hearts by Harper Sloan is a must read. It is a great story to get lost in. It was heartbreaking, heartwarming and full of hope and second chances with a bit of angst and suspense. And, in case you did not get it before, Thorn is MINE.
Read and reviewed for Reviews From The Heart.
Happy reading!
The only thing better than a new Harper Sloan book is a new Harper Sloan SERIES. That means new characters to fall in love with, new storylines to be captivated by, and new romances to swoon over. I must say that Unconscious Hearts delivers on all counts. With the first book in the Hearts of Vegas Series, Harper Sloan gives us an unforgettable story, infusing a scorching hot romance and gut-wrenching emotions into a storyline packed with drama and suspense. From start to finish, Unconscious Hearts is an intense, erotic page-turner that’s impossible to put down once you get started.
After a tragic past leaves Ari Daniels broken and vulnerable, existing day-to-day in a state of hopeless stagnancy, her world is unexpectedly turned upside down when she meets Thorn Evans, a mysterious, yet fascinating stranger. The chemistry between them is apparent from the moment they lock eyes on each other, yet Thorn’s aversion to commitment combined with the walls Ari’s erected around her heart complicates matters to put it mildly. What starts as a challenge to resist the spark of attraction between them, though, ignites an unquenchable thirst for more. Thorn and Ari are swept up in a whirlwind romance, forging an incredible, soul-deep connection that grows deeper with every new discovery they make about each other.
With a storyline that’ll keep you on your toes and characters that are both complex and endearing, Unconscious Hearts captured my complete attention and had me riveted to every word of Thorn and Ari’s story. Harper Sloan outdid herself not just with this book, but with Thorn Evans, a.k.a. the textbook definition of an über Alpha hero. Case in point: communicates in grunts and monosyllables? Check. A womanizing past that’s tossed aside once the right woman crosses his path? Check. Overprotective and over-the-top? Check. Raw, primal, and unrestrained in the bedroom? Triple check! It’s as if Harper Sloan gathered the sexiest, most charismatic characteristics from her backlist of male leads and molded them into one ultimate Alpha hero. What’s not to love about a hero that’s the combination of Axel’s growly, intimidating, gentle giant-ness with Nate’s smooth moves and in-your-face sex appeal?
Overall, Unconscious Hearts is an angst-ridden, drama-filled, emotionally compelling love story that’ll give you an overdose of the feels and have you swooning left and right. It’ll leave you feeling perfectly satisfied, but still wanting more…as in, the next two books in the series. Which I need. Like yesterday.

Unconscious Hearts is seriously my all-time favorite Harper Sloan book and honestly its my humble opinion that this is her best work to date. This is book one in her new series the “Hearts of Vegas.” Unconscious Hearts was an exceptional start to what is surely going to be a brilliant series… as a matter of fact, I am seriously dying to get my hands on the next book. With a past that tore her world apart, Ari Daniels has spent years running from the memories and destruction of her past life. Broken and unable to trust, the strictly sexual release that Thorn Evens offers is exactly what she needs. But after one night with Thorn, Ari realizes that even that was far more than she was capable of… Now Thorn has to show Ari that ‘day by day’ they can do this… they can have more, but they can only have more together. Can Thorn convince Ari that that her past doesn’t have to dictate her future?
As with everything I have read from Harper Sloan, Unconscious Heart was beautifully written. The plot is excellent and offers several unpredictable twists. It’s very well paced, and I didn’t feel that any one area dragged. Between the sexy times and the suspense, you will keep turning page after page… racing through the story because you simply can’t put down your tablet! And Like me, you will be so spellbound, you will stay up all night to finish the book. Unconscious Hearts is told in duel perspectives with a twist that you will have to explore for yourself because I won’t post spoilers!!! The duel perspectives in this case bring forth heightened emotions – it’s an angsty romance with all that that entails. Harper Sloan’s Unconscious Hearts will be followed up with Blind Hearts. One thing that I love about standalone romances within a series is revisiting the characters in future books, and Harper Sloan has proven herself a master at giving readers glimpses of past favorites in her current stories. Needless to say, I am excited to see what the future of the Hearts of Vegas series will offer!
Harper Sloan writes strong and seriously sexy romance. Unconscious Hearts continues to prove that. The connection that exists between Ari and Thorn is almost tangible and seriously, seriously hawt! Yes, a big reason for that chemistry is Thorn, one of Harper Sloan’s remarkable alphas. Thorn is unapologetically sexual in a way that has Ari completely under his spell from the first time they lock eyes… and if we’re being honest, you will be too. Gah! He left me soooo hot and bothered!!! I already want more of him so hopefully Harper has a release date in the near future for the second book in this series, so we can get another dose of Thorn in all his alpha hotness! Also, while I attributed a big part of the sexiness of Unconscious Hearts to Thorn, that’s a direct result of what he calls forth from Ari as well as what readers will learn about Ari’s past. (I know that comment seems rather ambiguous, but I don’t want to ruin the character or the story by posting spoilers in my review.) The character progression is strong with both Ari and Thorn, and y’all will love the secondary characters – Piper and Wilder. I particularly loved the depth of connection that Ari and Thorn cultivate as their relationship progresses. Add the angst of their backstories and you have a remarkable story!
Unconscious Hearts is nothing short of extraordinary! I recommend this book wholeheartedly… and if you’ve never read Harper Sloan’s work before, then you’re in for a real treat! One that guarantee’s you’ll be broke after you go on a one-click spree when you complete this one
I have read all of Harper’s books and I simply love them all, but Thorn, he just takes the cake here! This book just blew me right out of the water and took my breath away. It’s heartbreaking and uplifting all in one fabulous bundle! These characters are unlike any I have ever read. They are real, they are you, they are me, they are the ones you want to have in your life to cheer them on and lean a helping hand if needed. It’s two lost souls who come together by circumstance and it’s unlike anything they ever imagined possible. It’s hot, it’s amazing, it’s absolutely perfect for them!
Harper Sloan has done it again, she has brought us another series to become addicted too. Once I started this book I couldn’t put it down as the plot draws you in and keeps you captivated on the edge of your seat.
Harper certainly knows how to write sexy AF alpha males that make you swoon and desire, sexy, sassy, females that you love and secondary character that peak your interest making you eager for their stories.
This is a story of two broken people who have walls sky high around them thanks to their pasts. Soon as they meet they seem to have this ability to scale the walls and then start knocking them down with a sledgehammer. They so belong together with chemistry off the charts but also that deep emotional connection that embeds itself in their souls.
I am super excited to read the next book in this series, Piper and Wilders story.
