Vitoria Miene lives in New York—on the opposite side of the country as her best friend. After careful thought, she decides to pack everything up and move to Seattle. There is only one problem with her plan—Wes Novak. He hates her and does everything in his power to make her miserable.
Wes has never detested anyone as much as he does Vitoria. He believes she is evil incarnate. If she wasn’t best … wasn’t best friends with his brother’s fiancée, he’d never have to see her again. Unfortunately he sees more of her than he wants to. So much so, he is starting to have trouble keeping his hands off her.
Wes and Tori fight every step of the way. They combust in each other’s arms as much as they bicker. Can they stop battling long enough to find the one thing they both want—love?

A really good romance with lots of heat and a twist.
Tori is a really nice, but focused, young woman. She has her own public relations firm in New York and is good at what she does yet she’s missing her best friend, Ginny, who recently moved to Washington State to marry the man of her dreams. So Tori makes the decision to move her firm to Seattle since most of her clients are based on the West Coast and then she’ll be closer to her friend. However, that also means she’ll be closer to Wes, Ginny’s soon to be brother-in-law. And that spells trouble since they get along like oil and water… or is more like gasoline and fire?
This is the second book in this series and I would really recommend reading them in the order they were written and they definitely build onto each other and are interwoven.

This was such a fun listen I just love the bickering back and forward between them. You had no trouble feeling the emotions from hate, confusion and lust these two have. The author gives you a few twists that you can work out if you listen closely. I was pretty sure but it took me awhile to realize the truth behind the story and the why of it. There is a little danger, a mystery, and lord the steam is outstanding when these two get together. When they finally come together they explode off the page with such excitement it makes your heart beat faster. It was great to see past characters from the past book, this one takes off where the last one left off. You do not need to read the first book the author gives such great back history you can read this as a standalone, but I am not sure why you would want to do that.
Ms. Wilder does a wonderful job of narration, I only found one place where she repeated some wording which I am guessing was one of the places she took a break. Besides that I could not tell if any breaks were taken. There are no background noises and no volume changes. She did an outstanding job with her many character voices. Her males are strong with deep voices and her females are sexy and sweet. I had not problem at all picturing the scenes as they unfold. She gave true emotions to her characters you could feel their feeling if they were angry, sad, happy, disappointed and excited. She even chuckled when it was called for. Her desperation and sorrow really touched me making me feel their pain. I thought her normal voice was just as pleasant as her character voices. This is the first time I have listened to her work and look forward to listening to more of it. Big thumbs up with and outstanding performance that really pulled me in
The story is touching, the twists are shocking and the plot is delightful. It is hard not to like these characters. They became like family to me, each pain they felt I felt, when they laughed so did I. When they cried I wanted to. For me it was a very emotional read with highs and lows, good and bad. Vitoria is strong, she can stand on her own and give back as good as she gets. She does have a few weaknesses those being the ones she loves and the wall her parents put up between her and her family. Wes is strong, caring and loving man to his friends and family. If he feels a wrong has been done to them he will fight until the bitter in. Tori is confused as to why he hates her, he can’t forget what he saw and those she hurt. It was truly a wonderful story from start to finish. They have one weakness and that is the other, their attraction, the pull and the passion they have each other. I loved the plot, the story just sizzles off the page as you are taken from one scene to the next. Their fighting is hot, their passion hotter. When they find the answers to the question they have one feels a fool the other relief but it also leaves them both with more questions and no answers. There was nothing I didn’t love about this story. That is why I have picked it as one of my favorite reads for the year.
This was a fantastic heartwarming story about assumptions without facts doing more harm than for two people with a possible future full of love. Wes is grieving and pissed at the woman he believes is responsible for his best friend’s death. Vitoria is a PR agent who is insanely attracted to Wes yet wit his cutting words and cold demeanor, she believes it’s time to move on. Unbridled Pursuit is a captivating story full of secrets, drama, grief, anger, attraction, danger, passion, and love. Readers will fall just in love with this story as they will with the characters. A great book I didn’t want to put down.

This was a good story. It was fun to read and had characters you can connect with. I would recommend it.
A bit of a slow start to get my attention and at times the plot had a hard time keeping my attention. Overall a hot, steamy sexy romance story between the characters who start out as enemies and become lovers by the end.

Unbridled Pursuit is book two of the Novak Springs series and continues from book one Cowgirl Fever. If you read book one then you know who Wes is Dallas’s brother and Tori is Ginnifer’s best friend and they don’t get along. Tori is missing her best friend and decides to move across the country to Seattle, one problem Wes lives there too and they don’t get along at all. I really liked this book and how Wes and Tori start out as enemies but end up lovers. This is a well written story with misunderstandings, mystery, drama, suspense and great characters.
This is one tremendously enjoyable reads keeps you wanting to read more with all the twists and turns abound with unexpected circumstances and unpredictable surprises and misunderstandings.

Vitoria Miene lives in New York and is heading to Seattle to attend her best friend’s wedding. She has plans to move there, not only to be near Ginny, but most of her clients are in that area and relations with her family on the East Coast are strained. When Ginny asks her future brother-in-law, Wes Novak, to pick Vitoria up at the airport, Vitoria cannot understand why Wes is so hostile to her for no reason. His attraction to her wars with what he thinks she did, mistaking her for her twin sister! So his behavior toward her is very strange and unwarranted unless they can figure it out. Will the two of them work out a way to open up and allow themselves to respond to what they are both actually feeling? Can they fall in love? And when Vitoria finds herself in great danger, kidnapped by a bad guy, will Wes come to her rescue and save the woman he just may love?
This was a good story with a wonderful plot to keep the reader guessing and wondering if Vitoria and Wes will figure out what was going on between them. The characters were well-depicted, the dialog worked well to move the story along. There is much more going on! Don’t miss reading this one! The twists and turns make it all worth the read!
This is a well written story about Vitoria (Tori) and Wes. She is an interesting character and he is an a$$ (most of the time). A good amount of time is spent at the beginning to tell us about Tori, but Wes only has bits and pieces. There is a good amount of suspense and lots of hot but it doesn’t seem guaranteed to work out. I didn’t realize when I started this that it is part of a series but it really didn’t make any difference in following the story. I would recommend this book for anyone who likes more than just sexy scenes and wants some dynamics between the characters.

This was an awesome book. It was a little slow moving and a couple of spots but nothing that distracted from the story. It was a very enjoyable read. I voluntarily read and review this book in exchange for a free copy.
This is the second book in the Novak Springs Series. I haven’t listened to the first book in the Series yet. I like Vitoria and Wes’s story. They share a strong and undeniable chemistry. This enemies to lovers is well written, funny, intriguing, steamy, and action packed with twists and turns. The secondary characters are also great. Erica Wilder did an amazing job with the narration. I enjoyed listening to this story. I received this free review copy audiobook at my request and I have voluntarily written this review. Now, I can’t wait to listen to the first book in the Series, Cowgirl Fever, Dallas and Ginnifer’s story, and to the third book in the Series, Sensual Games, Emmaline and Colt’s story.
I was given this book to read in exchange for a review. Dawn Brower’s books are very well-written and all of the character’s personalities are realistic and believable with enough drama to keep it entertaining. I felt so sorry for poor Tori – she was so clueless as to why Wes hated her “on-sight” so much and the “mysterious ride”we went on to discover it with her made this book such an amazing enemies to lovers read. Loved it!

Dawn Brower is a new author to me and I really enjoyed her storyline and writing style here. It centres around Vitoria, her best friend Ginny’s soon to be brother-in-law, Wes, who hates Vitoria with a passion that she just doesn’t understand. He blames her for his best friend’s death, little realising that she has an identical twin that was involved and not her. As things are very strained between her family and herself, Tori decides to move her business to the west coast where Ginny will now be living as her client base is there anyway. However, much as Wes knows he needs to hate Tori he can’t keep away from her. The more he tries, the more he has to grab her and make passionate love to her. They are like two magnets and it is no good trying to pull apart even though he is mistaken about her. Now I’m not going to give you any spoilers as Dawn has written this so well, but you need to prepare yourselves for intrigue, angst, tension, kidnapping, dire situation and a hero to rescue the heroine just in time! With fabulous characters that are realistic and I so wanted them to get their HEA. This is a real page turner that will keep you on the edge of your seat. I look forward to reading many more of Dawn’s books. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Definitely recommended
An amazing mistaken identity that is a intruguing enjoyable romance. It includes intrigue, suspense, drama, danger, chemistry and romance. Ginny owns a public relations firm in New York. Wes works on a ranch in Washington and is Ginny’s best friends brother. Ginny is planning on moving her firm to Washington, because she misses her friend. This is a standalone within a series but the characters are intertwined and continue with their stories so it makes the story more entertaining to read in order. Wes is harsh and mean to Ginny during their interaction for the wedding of her friend but you can also feel the underlying chemistry and hot attraction. Add in the drama of Ginny and her twin getting kidnapped by a crime lord and you are ensured a nail biting exciting story.

The story definitely unique in it’s own way had me intrigued wanting to read page after page as the story flows through and not put it down till the end.
This book is a good enemy to lovers storyline that it is intriguing and entertaining. The characters are engaging and captivating. I do appreciate reading this book.
Can a person totally despise you on first sight and not give a reason? Victoria lives in New York but is traveling to Seattle for her best friend Ginny’s wedding and hopes to settle there to be near her. But trouble happens when Ginny’s future brother in law Wes hates Tori right off the bat. Wes struggles with a love/hate feeling for Tori because he is attracted to her. But he is very mean, belligerent and hateful at times that really made me mad! Explanations finally come out and it ends up being a case of mistaken identity. But as they start to get along, something happens to put Tori in danger and Wes goes to the rescue.
This was a really enjoyable story, well written and with some suspense, romance and mix-ups that will keep you turning the page. I read this through Booksprout.
The second book in the Novak Springs series and this time it is brother Wes and Vitoria Miene’s story and starts out as a love/hate story. I found it to be well-written and I enjoyed reading it. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I really enjoyed this read. What in some books would have felt like the author was throwing in everything they could think of, works in this well thought out story line. With Wes and Tori you get confusion, lust, mystery intrigue, and twits and turns that will keep you turning the pages wondering what will happen next. There is a very fine line between love and hate and Dawn Brower toes that line beautifully. A fun page turner that will leave you panting for more. Great writing. Great story. Great characters. Loving this series.

Loved it. She is friends with his brother’s fiance. He can’t stand her and he annoys her. But underneath it is all attraction. They fight and banter all the time. It is attraction and many things. It is exciting, emotional, fun, suspenseful and so much more. I was given a review copy by booksprout and voluntarily review it.
