Mac’s life isn’t perfect, but he likes it the way it is: safe and predictable.Mac works in a struggling pole dancing club at night, and a gym during the day. He’s tired and cash strapped, but content, until a confident twink walks into the club and turns his life upside down. It’s hard to resist when Russel asks him to be his fake boyfriend for one night, in return for double his normal take-home … his normal take-home pay.
One date turns into more, as Mac helps Russel get an exclusive that will secure him the job he’s always wanted. But the rich playboy who holds Russel’s career in his hands isn’t going to give him the scoop so easily.
As Mac and Russel spend more time together, the lines between fake and real begin to get blurred, but can their relationship become strong enough to be unbreakable in the face of adversity?
Unbreakable is a fake boyfriend MM romance, with a buff pole dancer who swears like a trooper, a twink who likes to take charge, some spanking, light bondage, and a happy ever after. It’s a prequel story to Broken, but can be read as a standalone romance.

Just like every book I’ve read by Colette Davison, is an incredible blend of laughter, tears, joy, angst, sadness, happiness and so much love.
It was wonderful to watch the main characters, Mac and Russel, slowly realize just how perfect they are together. They start off as fake boyfriends and absolutely convinced that they would be the worst fit for an actual relationship. But then, amazingly, the more time they spend together, the more they come to see how no one else could understand their real selves better than the other. How their needs can only be fulfilled by each other.
is the story of an unlikely couple, of two men that have the courage to let their masks slip off and show their weaknesses, and do something to better themselves. Mismatched, quirky and troubled, yet the perfect match for each other…when they eventually open their hearts and trust that they can be loved for who their really are.
LOVED IT.
Great book
I read this book out of sequence in the serie,s but it didn’t matter too much.
Very powerful book and the whole series is great.
If you like the fake boyfriends’ trope, you’re going to want to read this one. I also enjoyed the light Dom/sub aspects of this story, but what I really enjoyed was the reverse roles. Russell being smaller of the two stature wise was the more dominant whereas Mac was submissive. I haven’t read a lot of books where the roles were reversed and I found it refreshing. This book is also a prequel to “Wicked” so you may want to keep that in mind before diving in. I enjoyed this book a lot and I highly recommend giving it a try.
This is an AMAZING story. Mac and Russel meet under unusual circumstances, not expecting too much. But chemistry can’t be denied once you find it. Opposite personalities make for more awareness and wanting to learn more. This story is HOT , sweet and fun. Proving that you can’t judge a person on appearance alone. This couple is too much fun and I enjoyed every minute of it. I also was glad to see Michael with Edward and a glimpse into their life together. This is an all around AMAZING story that I enjoyed every much. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK!!!!!
This book is a prequel to Broken. In Unbreakable Michael and Edward are planning on buying Horns and turning it into the club that’s in Broken.
Mac and Russel are just the cutest in this book. I love them so much together. Mac, a big guy, likes to be submissive and Russel, a smaller guy, likes to be dominant. And the way they give and take power is Hot! The mental picture of Mac with that collar around his neck……
What started out as a fake relationship turned into so much more. I couldn’t put this book down and I want more from the Heaven and Hell club.
I highly recommend this book, and Unbreakable can be read on it’s own but I do recommend reading Broken as well as both are fabulous!
Unbreakable, a story of Mac and Russel, is a great story! It works perfect as a prequel to Broken, with great characters and an interesting story. I enjoyed it so much!
I was just so excited about reading Mac and Russel story, and it was just so good, I really enjoyed it. When Russel first met Mac he was dancing at Horns and Russel was just smitten, so much so he couldn’t help thinking about him. So when an opportunity for advancement at work showed up after much thought, Russel asked Mac if he would help him out by pretending to be his boyfriend and this started a long slow walk into a beautiful loving relationship neither men were expecting, but one they both deserved. This book was so well written that it sucked you in, wrapping you up into this beautiful story and kept you so involved you just had to read the whole book!
Unbreakable by Colette Davison is part of the Heaven and Hell Club series and features a fake relationship, MM romance. It’s a prequel story to the story Broken, but can be read as a standalone story.
This story is a slow burning one… with a bit of sadness, a but of sexiness, and lots of fun. Enjoyable story that acts well as a prequel to the series. Fantastic and interesting characters and well written.
Thank you for the ARC read, I voluntarily give this book an honest review. Working in a seedy stripe club, Mac was fed up with his boss Berry. No customers made the money flow tight.
Meeting a customer and getting hit on wasn’t unusual but having one ask him to be his fake boyfriend was an a twink with a bossy attitude no less.
Russel was given the opportunity of his life as a layout artist for a magazine, his boss offers hi to stand in for a reporter on at party where fashion was a plus. One hitch it was a plus one. Having run out of options Russel turns to the one guy he hopes will be his saving grace in his last chance for a date. Will Russel do anything for a scoop to break into the reporter job he as always dreamed of. Can what turns out as fake lead to something everlasting.
As a stripper Mac was pretty vanilla when it came to the bedroom activities, that was until he takes a chance with a bossy twink, but are they a match? Will the interview bring them closer together or split what could be a happiness for both? This was a great book with wonderful world building characters.
