Sometimes fate gets it all wrong.Zoey Kent has lived with that fact ever since she turned eighteen and learned that the man she loved could never be hers. He’s a born shifter, a wolf, and she’s a mere human. Fate doesn’t care if on paper they’re a perfect pair. She isn’t his fated mate and she’s resigned herself to the knowledge that someday, she’ll have to watch Michael mate with another. It’s … another. It’s never crossed her mind that there might be someone else out there for her, that she would be the one to mate another, to choose another over everything she’s ever known or wanted.
Sometimes fate gets it all right.
Rafe Hudson left his pack behind years ago. Physically and mentally scarred from an attack that left his parents and twin dead, he walked away from his responsibilities as Alpha. He never intended to return but lone wolf or not, he can’t leave Michael open to an attack he’s learned is coming for his only brother. What he didn’t know was that going home would mean scenting his mate, the one person in the world that could make him whole again, that could give him everything he thought he’d lost. His pack, his home and his family.
But fate always has a plan.
There’s no way Michael’s brother is her future, is there? Just like there’s no way that the girl his brother has loved since they were kids, was always meant to be his, right?
Only fate knows why they were brought together but there is one thing for sure, the sparks between Zoey and Rafe are undeniable. The bond between them is unbreakable. And together… they’ll change the face of the pack forever.

This is one hot shifters story as we follow Michael and his brother Rafe on the road to HEA
Zoey thought she was in love with Michael but when Rafe showed back it wasn’t question who is her Mate.
They both know that Zoey is Rafe Mate.
This Alphas, brothers had to give the best to Zoey and to the pack.

When Rafe showed up to claim Zoey, she learned what love was. This exciting journey in the shifter world was so interesting. Zoey and Rafe compliment each other as true mates should. Interesting and fun characters and an intriguing story.

OH MY GOODNESS!
Unbreakable Bond was such a good book and start to a duet. I loved Rafe and Zoey. I loved their bond and I also loved seeing the “wrench” that was thrown into their lives at the beginning of the story. This book was a first Jess Bryant book for me but will not be the last. I am happy that I decided to give it another go after not being in a book slump anymore.

Let’s just say that I massively slept on this book. Unbreakable Bond has literally been sitting on my kindle since its release day… back in 2018!!!! I remember getting it, I remember wanting to read it. The early reviews for it were great. I just never read it. Unbreakable Bond fell right into the black hole of my kindle. However! I have been wanting to find a good PNR to read and while searching through what I already had I was reminded that this was still sitting there unread. I decided to pick it up, give it a chance and by the end of the day I had finished the entire book and one-clicked on book 2 of the series!
I was seriously hooked on Rafe and Zoey. PNR can go so bad so quick, especially when so much of the story is centered around a predestined mate that makes the couple go practically insane unless they are together. Except if you are reading a PNR you want that. I wanted Rafe to be an alpha (pun intended there) protective man, and I loved how he took care of Zoey. The bond was instant and even with forces against them, the instant attraction was there. I was rooting for them from the beginning.
Unbreakable Bond was a wonderful, quick read. The love was there, the passion was read and the chemistry!!!! Wow!! I love Jess Bryant’s work, every time I read something new from this author I am reminded why I go back again and again. Loved this book so much, I am so glad I went back and read Unbreakable Bond.

Not my usual genre, but the blurb had me wanting to read this paranormal shifter romance. I liked the way Zoey’s first love was Michael and her heart and emotions were filled with wanting him to be her first everything. Michael wanted Zoey too, but in reality, he knew she wasn’t his fated mate when she became of age. In a way, he showed his integrity when he pushed her away and refused to get closer to her.
When his older brother Rafe, the prodigal son of sorts, returned home, fate didn’t waste any time connecting him with Zoey.
This paranormal world with its own rules and laws was an adventure for me. Well written and easy to follow with lots of action and descriptions that gave me a feel for this newfound shifter reality.

Wow! I was blown away. The twists and turns and the way Fate works made this story so enticing and enjoyable. Who would have thought that Michael’s brother would be the one for Zoey when she thought he would be the one instead. But the universe works in mysterious ways and that’s what happens here. Rafe and Zoey are explosive!

This book is incredible! A story full of heartbreak, loss and reunions. Zoey and Michael have been friends forever. He is a wolf shifter and she is a human adopted by a couple in his pack. They loved each other for years and thought they would be mated. That is, until she turns 18. Then they realize the mating bond isn’t there and they aren’t meant for each other. She is heartbroken and it’s not until a few years later that fate reveals it’s hand. Michael’s only remaining family member, Rafe, returns to the pack and he’s looking for his mate. He hasn’t been with the pack since their parents and Rafe’s twin were murdered when Rafe crossed the boundary line and lead the hunters back to them. Since then, he’s been roaming wild, bearly in control of his wolf. Rafe knows the minute he returns the scent of his mate but it takes him a while to realize it’s Zoey. Michael knows as soon as Rafe returns but does everything he can to keep Zoey away from Rafe. It doesn’t work and sparks fly as the brothers fight over Zoey. In the end, she agrees to go with Rafe. Rafe and Zoey manage to run off together and soon find themselves securing their bond. This turns Zoey into wolf shifter but they must wait for the night of the full moon to fully complete the bond. They get the chance but then the bottom falls out as Rafe senses Michael’s been hurt. He leaves Zoey behind in order to go save Michael. When he arrives, there is a fight going on with wolves from another pack. Rafe helps defeat them but the leader runs off. Rafe gives in to his wolf and gives chase. Michael is forced to deal with Zoey and help her through her first shift back before he can go after Rafe. He brings him home, reunites him with Zoey and they make plans to retaliate for the attack. Especially when they realize the wolves that attacked are from the Crescent clan that has been led by the DeLuca family until recently. As they ready for the attack, the Crescent Alpha is holding 3 women hostages, all of the DeLuca family. He is threatening the oldest, Luna, that he will harm her sisters and her mate unless she agrees to mate with him and rule by his side. He even tells her the name of her mate and she prays that agreeing to this Alphas terms will be able to save a man she’s never even met.

Zoey Kent has lived with the fact ever since she turned eighteen and learned that the man she loved; her best friend Michael could never be hers. Rafe Hudson left his pack and last living brother behind years ago. Physically and mentally scarred from an attack that left his parents and twin dead. This was a beautiful, tragic, and bittersweet romantic story. Fell in love with the characters. Made me cry. Can’t wait to read Michael and Luna’s story next.

Too bad that Rafe had to go through what he did when he was young. But Michael became alpha of the pack and wanted to be Zoey’s mate, but it wasn’t meant to be. Rafe came back to talk to his brother and found his mate in Zoey. Finally Michael excepted it as the truth. Then he found his mate also! Can’t wait for the next book!
Four and a Half Stars
This book is hot! Rafe is a growling alpha, sexy as sin, wolf shifting, broody male who goes crazy when he scents his mate (*furiously fanning self). Zoey is human but was adopted by shifters and lives with the pack. Linked to Michael (Rafe’s brother) and the pack’s alpha leader, she was convinced that he was her future, but he is not. Rafe is, was, and will forever be her mate and the sparks fly when they meet. From Rafe’s first declaration of “Mine”, Zoey is a goner. These two cannot and will not deny their attraction and bond. Their HEA is sexy and hot and has made me a huge fan of Jess Bryant’s Shifter Romance books. I look forward to Book 2 – Michael’s story.

Zoey has always loved Michael. Always, since they were children. Zoe is human and Michael is a shifter. One day he would be the alpha leader of his pack. One day, he would choose her as his mate…but he didn’t. Now his long-lost brother Rafe has returned. How can Rafe be her mate? Zoe longs for Michael. Has he come back to take over the pack? Sexy and a good read.

This was a nice start to the series. I felt for Rafe and glad he found what he was looking for.
When Zoey turned eighteen she found out that she and her best friend Michael weren’t mates. It was a hard fact to learn but she was slowly trying to move on. Then one night everything she thought she knew changed when she heard someone call her “Mine”. Rafe was coming back to the pack after taking off when a tragedy happened. However he is back not just for himself but for a friend that needs the packs help. When he stumbles upon his brother getting ready to kiss his mate and Rafe jumps him. Zoey is stunned by Rafe and drawn to him. When Michael tries to keep them apart she fights for the right of her and her mate. Will Michael let them be together? Can Zoey be what Rafe needs?
This is a great story once I started it I couldn’t put it down. The chemistry between them is off the charts hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

First let me state that I received an Advance Reader Copy, (ARC), but this in no way influences my review. I always leave an honest review. Also this author is new to me, but this won’t be for long.
Wow!!! This story is gr8. It grabbed me from the first page and held me to the end. Zoey a human, thought she was destined to be Michael, a wolf’s mate, but when she came of age, they realized she wasn’t. It devastated them both. Then Rafe, Michael’s brother showed up and he’s her mate. There a gr8 story here. I can’t wait to read the next story. I recommend this read. 5 Thumbs up
Unbreakable Bond revolves around the Moire pack. Wolves, shifters and a human girl. Zoey had always thought that she would mate with Michael once she turned 18. And then Rafe came back home. It was a great story. I loved the detail in when they shift from human to wolf. Zoey has a lot of back bone and she isn’t afraid to speak up to the wolves. Even the alpha, Michael. I can’t wait to read the next one and see how this ends.
Rafe is an wollf shifter. When his parents and twin are killed he leaves his pack and his responsibility as alpha. He returns for his brother Michael. Zoey is human and loves Michael but when she turned eighteen she learns she can’t have him because they’re not mates. When Rafe returns Zoey is attracted to him. I really enjoyed this book.
Eeny, meeny, miney Moe! Zoey, human knew bone deep that Michael was her ‘one’! Rafe left his pack after an attack by hunters that killed his parents and his younger twin. He returned when he learned of an impending attack on his remaining brother, Michael. Then he scented his mate. Michael was possessive and protective of Zoey who he knew for years Rafe was possessive, protective and in total mate lust of Zoey. The brothers engaged in a irrational illogical conflict, just because. Michael temporarily had the upper hand over Rafe and wielded it unwisely. Rafe, had choices. Would he make the right ones? Is Rafe for Zoey and not Michael? Can Zoey put down her rose colored glasses and embrace her true ‘one’? Fantastic conflict. Hot mating call! Great character development. Absolutely likeable characters even when they act unsmartly. I received an ARC from Booksprout for a review.
I love a good shifter book and this one is perfect. The author introduces us to two brothers who are wolf shifters who both love a human female. Michael has known and loved Zoey as a sister for years, whereas Rafe has been away from the pack and on his return home he scents Zoey as his fated mate. Needless to say, this leads to a lot of action and emotion as everyone sorts their feelings, wants and needs out. This is the first book I have read by this author, but I am looking forward to book 2 and then a lot more books from her.
