In hindsight, I should not have had that fifth mimosa at Breakfast with Santa. Or the sixth, seventh, and eighth. But my shame over the public meltdown that resulted was nothing compared to being abandoned by my husband of fifteen years for a much younger woman—and did I mention she’s pregnant? For the sake of my children and my pride, I packed up and headed for my childhood home and the small town … childhood home and the small town where I grew up. Cloverleigh Farms would be the perfect place for a fresh start.
Falling for Henry DeSantis wasn’t part of the plan.
Sure, he’s easy on the eyes and hard in the bedroom (also the hallway, the bathtub, and on top of his desk), but he’s newly divorced too, and things between us are moving so fast I’m afraid neither one of us has had enough time to heal. Not to mention the fact that I’m a single mom now—my kids have to come first.
But Henry makes me feel beautiful and sexy and wanted and strong—I haven’t felt that way in years. We understand each other, and when I’m in his arms, I’m tempted to trust again. To love again. To let myself be loved without fear.
But deep down, I’m terrified.
Is this all too much, too soon? Or am I a fool to let a second chance at happily ever after pass me by?

I LOVE the Cloverleigh series and I feel with each book I fall more and more in love with it. Sylvia and Henry’s story was beautiful, emotional and honestly, they have been my favorite.
Sylvia is the oldest of the Sawyer siblings. Newly divorced, she moved back to Cloverleigh Farms with her children. Henry is also newly divorced and working more than ever at Cloverleigh. Having a common connection they form an instant friendship, but are fighting the intense connection and pull they have for each other.
I LOVE Sylvia. From the very start I was all about the #TeamSylvia train. Her speech and the mic drop got me. She was hurting, she didn’t feel loved, desirable, wanted, but she knew she had to stay strong for her children. She had to put on that mask and be there for them. She is strong and such an amazing role model when it comes to book heroines.
Henry. He was perfect. He is super sweet and I love his nerdy side, especially when it comes to his wine. He is still recovering from his divorce, but he knows what he feels for Sylvia is real. I love how patient he is with her. The bond he slowly forms with his children.
Unbreakable was unexpectedly emotional for me. I didn’t think this story would touch me as much as it did, but when it come to a few scenes involving Sylvia’s daughter, Whitney, I was a mess.
Unbreakable is an emotional, beautiful, second chance at love story. A MUST READ and a TOP READ of 2020.
I’ve been loving this series by Melanie Harlow, and this latest book, has made me love it even more. Melanie has written a beautiful, heartfelt, scorching hot second chance at love story. Both Sylvia and a Henry are coming off bad divorces, and are not sure they would ever find love again. I love how Melanie allows us to see the sadness and heartbreak of divorce, but also the joy and happiness of new love. She shows us the very real struggle of a newly single parent, wanting to do right by your children, but also needing to find your own happiness.
I really enjoyed catching up with Sylvia’s sisters, and love the way they all interact with each other. I can’t wait for the next book in this series!
“I’ll wait for you. I’ll wait as long as it take to prove to you that I’m not going anywherebecause you’re worth it. You’re worth everything.”
Smart, sweet, sensual. Melanie Harlow is a master at immersing you in all the emotions. Unbreakable is one of my top favorite MH readsLucas and Mia’s story cannot ever be knocked from the number one spot for me since their story lead me to so many more to look forward too, and I was so excited to see them in Unbreakable. I loved Sylvia and Henry’s story, and that epilogue: PERFECTION!
I totally fell in love with this book and this couple! Single mom, Sylvia Sawyer has come back to Cloverleigh Farms in Michigan from California after her marriage fell apart. She has been living under a facade, and has been conditioned to feel unworthy and unattractive. She has been conditioned to feel unworthy and unattractive. She has no faith in men, is worried about how her ex’s antics will affect her children, and is basically starting over with the support of her family.
She never counted on Henry DeSantis. He has worked for her family for ten years and is getting over his own divorce and coming to terms with own perceived failures because of it. He has thrown himself into work at the vinyards to stave off his loneliness.
They bond over the loss of their marriages and dreams. They become friends. But there is an underlying attraction and need that is hard to resist. But moving too fast, too soon and trying to adjust to new lives provide obstacles. It is hard to hide their attraction, deal with confusing feelings, and avoid causing others more stress.
Is it too soon for them to find real hope, trust, and maybe even real unconditional love? Or is it just too complicated to even try?
I adored Henry and think he is such a swoon-worthy hero. He is just this sweet, rugged, protective, and thoughtful man that has such a big heart. But he is also charismatic and sexy. He just wanted to love, be loved, and have a family. And it is inspiring to watch Sylvia begin to gain strength as she embraces starting over and to bloom under more positive attention.
But there is a lot at stake with his close working relationship with her family and the needs of her children. It has current topics and issues facing more mature couples these days with divorces, children, and baggage. It is intense, emotional, heartfelt, and passionate. My heart hurt for them when they felt the need to deny what they were truly feeling due to fear of judgment or hurting others. But I enjoyed them together and just wanted them to have everything that they had been denied. I have to say I even got a bit teary towards the end. This is a beautiful story about healing, hope, and feeling worthy of true love and happiness. It is my favorite of the series.
I enjoyed being back at the Inn and the Winery, and it gives me a feeling of coming home. I admire this family and how they help and push each other. There are some visits with other friends as well. I am looking forward to April’s story now that it has been teased.
Overall Rating – .5
This is the fourth book in the ‘Cloverleigh Farms’ series, can be read as a standalone and this time we have Sylvia’s story.
When I finished the previous book, Sylvia was the story I wanted most and Harlow did not disappoint with this friends to lovers story. Sylvia has recently been divorced and is moving back home to her family with her two children. Upon returning she starts a friendship with Henry, the winemaker in her families business.
Seeking friendship in each other and talking about both their recent divorces have them discovering a mutual attraction for each other, something both of them didn’t see coming as they were still healing from their divorces. Although Sylvia wants to keep a distance from anything other than friendship, she takes a big leap, demanding something for herself and Henry happily obliges.
Their romance isn’t easy and highlights the difficulty in moving forward when there are others involved (her children) which created a nice bit of angst that I loved.
Sylvia had been through a lot with her divorce and was starting a new life, uprooting her kids, she had a lot going on and I admired her strength, putting them first, even when she was struggling.
Henry, I loved! He was kind, caring, honest and the best person to help Sylvia, their friendship was equal and they were just meant to be.
I loved being back in this world, Sylvia and Henry were so special together with chemistry that couldn’t be ignored and a deep trust in each other. I really enjoyed this story, mainly to give hope that second chances do exist and that being single at nearly forty, doesn’t mean it over! I loved the ending and was so happy for Henry.
I can’t wait for April’s story now!
ARC received for an honest review – thank you

5 swoon-worthy soul-searching beautiful stars!! I was completely consumed by this story! I could not get enough of Henry and Sylvia!! They are so meant to be together!!
5+ STARS
NO SPOILERS!
I say this time and time again, but it never changes: there is literally nothing better than a Melanie Harlow romance! Her sweet, sexy, swoon-worthy, and incredibly romantic love stories deliver ALL THE FEELS every single time.
Melanie has especially outdone herself with the Sawyer sisters. Every standalone in the Cloverleigh Farms series has gotten better and better, and Unbreakable has definitely been the BEST and my FAVORITE romance from Melanie Harlow to date! Unbreakable was romance PERFECTION, and I absolutely loved and adored Henry and Sylvia’s story. The storyline, characters, and author’s beautiful prose were the total package, and I loved every minute of the journey. Henry and Sylvia were EVERYTHING, and I was beyond ecstatic with the conclusion to their unforgettable story.
Melanie Harlow once again worked her romance magic and delivered a standalone contemporary romance with heart, heat, humor, and all the feels that I will never forget. In fact, Unbreakable has been one of my FAVORITE romances of ALL-TIME, and I truly mean that wholeheartedly! Everything about Henry and Sylvia’s story was pure romance gold, and I can’t wait to read April Sawyer’s story in the final standalone in the Cloverleigh Farms series!
Unbreakable was a good read. After learning more about Sylvia in Insatiable, I was itching for her story. Both Sylvia and Henry had suffered by past loves so they weren’t looking for anything serious. However love has a way of sneaking up and taken you by surprise. And that is exactly what it did to these two. I enjoyed the friendship that these two developed. They were both going through the same thing-broken marriages- and the bond they created was special. And the friendship had an undercurrent of intense chemistry. I loved seeing how Henry and Sylvia became so much more. Their love story was beautiful and they both deserved it. It was real and raw and heartwarming. I loved the family bond with the Sawyers and their significant others. Melanie’s writing is great as ever. Overall this was a touching story about finding love again with the right person. I am excited for April’s story next.
I love the Cloverleigh Farms series and Sylvia and Henry’s story was amazing!
Sylvia has just moved back home after divorcing her douchebag husband who left her for another woman, who is pregnant. She wants to build a better life for herself and her children. The last thing she is looking for is a new man.
Henry DeSantis is the dirty talking, sexy winemaker at Cloverleigh Farms who is also recently divorced. He’s not looking for love either, but has an instant attraction to Sylvia. Their chemistry is hot and things move pretty quickly between them. He’s sweet and sexy and makes Sylvia feel beautiful and wanted.
I loved how much he adores her. A sweet and sexy second chance at love for both Henry and Sylvia.
Wonderful! Completely wonderful!
This is a beautifully written second-chance-at-love romance, the kind that only Melanie Harlow can bring.
It’s a standalone in the Cloverleigh Farms series, but I totally recommend reading the previous books.
We already met both Sylvia and Henry before and now we get to really see their stories.
They’re coming from really hard divorces for different reasons, bue they are equally struggling with healing, hoping and fearing.
After being burned so deeply, they are wary of trying something new, specially so “fast”, but the connection they have, their chemistry and their feelings are so easy, so natural, so impossible to deny.
They need to be careful, considering their pasts and Syl’s kids. They also deserve to be happy. But it’s not an easy task to expose the heart and be vulnerable again.
Henry was this adorable nerd, sweet, respectful man, but also comanding and alpha when the time called for it. He was the kind of guy that makes you comfortable and safe, but also the man who will drive you crazy and panting and thinking “what the heck have just happened?” in an amazing way.
Sylvia is genuine, loyal, resilient and the kind of mom that will do anything for her kids. She is brilliant but she’s also trying to find her place again and mend her broken heart.
It was so beautiful to see them all trying to find their happiness again. Two shattered hearts realizing they are not broken, just bruised, and also finding out that the right person to mend them is right there.
Every time I read a new book by this author I think “now, this is my favorite one”, and it happened again.
Henry and Sylvia stole my heart and made it full and hopeful again. They touched me so deeply I can still feel them.
Again: wonderful!
Another amazing visit to Cloverleigh Farms. Without a doubt, Melanie can take words and transform them into the most beautiful things in the world and she has done it again with Sylvia and Henry.
This is a beautiful story about recovering from divorce and trusting again and finding YOUR person, your passion and that sometimes your first choice was actually your runner up.
I absolutely loved this second chance at life and love romance! I have watched Sylvia try to hide her pain throughout this series and could not wait for her story. I must say that right from the first chapter she proved that she was totally bada$$ and a woman I definitely wanted to read about! Sylvia has moved back home after her marriage failed to be with her supportive and loving family. She is determined to be stronger, more independent and a good single mother. She is excited to learn more about running her family farm, and all about wine from Cloverleigh Farms WineMaker, Henry DeSantis. Henry is also newly divorced, and heartbroken over missed chances at having a family. He and Sylvia connect right from the start, bonding not only over shared heartbreak, but over the excitement of wine making. They make each other feel alive again and believe in second chances. But Sylvia’s new life is complicated and being together is not easy when they need to put her kids first. I loved both Sylvia and Henry so much! Sylvia was such a good mom, but also brave, smart and funny. I totally swooned over Henry, he was kind, patient, nerdy, and deliciously dirty! They were so perfect for each other, and their chemistry was combustible as it leaped right off the page! I also loved catching up with all the Sawyer sisters and the men who stole their hearts, they added so much hilarity to this story. This series just keeps getting better with each sister, and each hero outdoes the last in sexy alpha swooniness! I love Harlow’s beautiful, genuine stories with rich, alluring characters that I want to be friends with. I can’t help getting happily lost in her words. I was totally engaged in this fun, emotional, and sexy romance and I can’t wait for April’s story next!
Everyone deserves to be desired, cherished, loved, and respected. Going through a divorce the oldest Sawyer sister (Sylvia) moves back to Cloverleigh Farms. Her ex is a real piece of work and poor Sylvia didn’t deserve any of the things he put her through, and neither did her two kids. She’s left feeling unworthy, undesirable, and unloveable.
Upon returning home Sylvia finds a connection with the wine guru on the farm, Henry. It just so happens Henry also recently went through a divorce. He also had a rough marriage that’s left him lonely and unsettled. They find an instant connection but fear their timing may be off and they may never get their happily ever after. Can they navigate this path together, keep their fears shut out, and find a love worth fighting for?
This series is just so darn endearing, mainly because it’s written to revolve around real life circumstances and problems. You can’t help but root for Sylvia and Henry. You can’t help but fall in love with their story and want the shiny happy ever after for all involved. It’s heartwarming to read about relatable love stories.
In this book there’s also a hint to what we will see in April’s story when that comes out. I must say I am anxiously awaiting that story now!!!
Sylvia is comeing home with 2 children after 15 year of marriage ending. Henry is throwing him self in to work after is wife divorced him. The two have off the charts chemistry and have so much in common and lots to talk about as henry teaches sylvia about wine. After so heavy flirting sylvia decided her time to think if her and she wants henry to be one one who makes her feel beautiful and wanted. The two finely fineing what they need to be happy but then there bubble burst. They say absences make the heart grow fonder. This story is may favorite out of this series and I cant wait for the next book
This series is up there with one of my favorites. I fell in love with Frannie and Mack, and Chloe and Oliver, and Meg and Noah so no one should be surprised that I have again fallen in love with Sylvia and Henry. Not only did I totally fall in love with the characters I so connected with them because like Sylvia I am a single mom whose kids come before everything (unfortunately I have yet to find my Henry). Her fears register with me, it’s as if we share a brain. I understand the loss of trust and questioning everything. I understand the broken dreams. This book was so real. An incredible story that got even my jaded heart. I love their HEA and I cannot wait to get April’s story cause I have a feeling it’s going to be amazing. Also can I add that the covers for this whole series are incredibly breathtaking.
****I did receive a free copy of this book in exchange for a fair and honest review which I so very much appreciated****
Unbreakable by Melanie Harlow a five-star read that may just break you. This is number four in the Cloverleigh Farms series and I swear this series has just made me so confused, each one I was like mmm Mack, please Daddy, then Oliver just dared me to push him to the top and then Noah well he was just like a gift from the skies, but then Henry DeSantis comes in the picture fully and well he just knocks the others out of the water and sends them running for the wine to make it up to us all. Sylvia was always the sister who I felt was the bossy older sister, the cold fish of the family, but when I got to see her story and know where she was at, she blew me away, I don’t have a thing in common with the woman, but she has a special place in my heart for just the love she showed for her kids and her family really made me fall that much harder. This is such a great story, honestly most authors by the time we get to book four I’m drifting, I am ready to know what happens as we know everyone and what is going on, but honestly these characters are so fresh and refreshing that I was blown away. Number five better be alive soon, as I need to know April’s history and where her future lies, will she find a man who will show Henry what it is to be a true man? Doubtful as I don’t think anyone will know Henry DeSantis off his perch this man isn’t just book boyfriend material, he’s book man material.
Unbreakable is the fourth book in Melanie Harlow’s Cloverleigh Farm series and I had so much fun reading it! Henry and Sylvia are absolutely perfect together.
Sylvia and Henry have been through similar experiences and through those experiences help to heal each other. I knew from the first chapter that I would fall in love with these two and I totally did! So tender and everything I wanted it to be!
I loved everything about this book! This series is so wonderfully written. After reading the prior books in this series I was so excited to read Sylvia’s book. This story far exceeded any expectations I had. The characters had baggage and hurdles in their way but the chemistry was unstoppable. It was sweet, swoony and so steamy.
Henry is my new favorite Cloverleigh Farms man! I just loved everything about him. Both Henry and Sylvia are somewhat recently divorced and not necessarily looking for love again, but they are a perfect match! I have enjoyed this entire series, I love the sister/family aspect of these books, but this one has been my favorite so far. I can’t wait to see April, the last sister, find love. As usual from Melanie Harlow, this book brings sweet and steamy, great characters, a fabulous setting, and a terrific supporting cast. There are a couple of nice cameos, too, for those that have read all of her other series, but no worries if you haven’t. and while I recommend this entire you series, you could read this book if you haven’t read any of the others as it stands on its own well.
I can’t pick a favorite from this series, at first I thought it was Mack, then Oliver and then Noah, but Henry… OMG!! SWOON!
Both Sylvia and Henry are new at navigating the single life again in a different way. While Henry focus on his job, Sylvia has to focus on her kids.
“You have to walk away, Henry [,…] I don’t know how to let myself be loved that way. And I’m too scared to try.”
Neither of them was waiting for something to happen so fast but when something is real, there’s not way to deny it.
“It isn’t going to matter where you work, Sylvia. Or where you live. I love you too. And I’ll wait for you. I ‘ll wait as long as it takes to prove to you that I’m not going anywhere-because you’re worth it. You’re worth everything.”
I loved how patient and understanding was Henry with Sylvia’s situation. I loved the support Sylvia’s family gave her and Henry and not onky as a couple but as person going through difficult times. I loved to know how there lives where going on and I can’t wait to read about April’s story and more of Sylvia and Henry.
