In hindsight, I should not have had that fifth mimosa at Breakfast with Santa. Or the sixth, seventh, and eighth. But my shame over the public meltdown that resulted was nothing compared to being abandoned by my husband of fifteen years for a much younger woman—and did I mention she’s pregnant? For the sake of my children and my pride, I packed up and headed for my childhood home and the small town … childhood home and the small town where I grew up. Cloverleigh Farms would be the perfect place for a fresh start.
Falling for Henry DeSantis wasn’t part of the plan.
Sure, he’s easy on the eyes and hard in the bedroom (also the hallway, the bathtub, and on top of his desk), but he’s newly divorced too, and things between us are moving so fast I’m afraid neither one of us has had enough time to heal. Not to mention the fact that I’m a single mom now—my kids have to come first.
But Henry makes me feel beautiful and sexy and wanted and strong—I haven’t felt that way in years. We understand each other, and when I’m in his arms, I’m tempted to trust again. To love again. To let myself be loved without fear.
But deep down, I’m terrified.
Is this all too much, too soon? Or am I a fool to let a second chance at happily ever after pass me by?

One of the many reasons I love reading books by Melanie Harlow is because you can lose your soul with her stories. I loved that. I love that I can be so emotionally invested down to my heart and bones. Unbreakable was no exception. I love Henry and Sylvia. I felt like they were my best friends at the end. The Cloverleigh Farms series are the best.
Unbreakable has sass and will bring in emotions you thought were well hidden. The way Sylvia and Henry tried to deny the inevitable was a bit of a slow burn. I just wanted these two to start living! I love how much Cloverleigh Farms feels like coming back home when you read any of the books within this series. #Swoonworthy
Author Melanie Harlow delivers another whirlwind romance that will leave you breathless.
Perfect book to pick up and enjoy this Valentine’s Day weekend.
It has all the real raw emotions of the pain of going through a divorce and finding love again when starting over.
I liked how Sylvia is a relatable character. I felt everything she was feeling and it made me love her story and root for her to find her happily ever after.

With her marriage over and her ex building his own new life, Sylvia has come home to Cloverleigh Farms to help her children as well as herself start over. Although her family is supportive, she finds a connection with Henry as his marriage ended as well. But through friendship comes a little spark of something. Can the two broken souls find solace as well as romance while helping each other pick up the pieces? Or will the spark diminish as the timing is just not right? I fell in love with the Cloverleigh characters from the very first book in the series and with each new one the series gets better and better. The honest true emotions that Melanie brings to life in her storylines makes the reader want to re-read the series again and again. Truly a heart warming and inspirational book.
I always finish these books with a smile.
Sylvia and Henry’s story is one of second chances, moving on, starting again and finding true love.
Both Henry and Sylvia have failed marriages, both fairly recent.
When Sylvia moves back home to Cloverleigh to her parents home, she’s still trying to keep it together for her kids and herself, picking herself up after discovering her husband of 15 years was not only a cheat but he’s now going to be a father with his younger girlfriend hit her hard.
Henry’s marriage was one that grew apart after failed IVF treatments had took it’s toll on the marriage and relationship, Henry’s wife left, leaving Henry disappointed and hurt after he had tried his best to make her happy but they had drifted apart.
Henry is the wine maker at Cloverleigh farm working for Sylvia’s parents.
Sylvia and Henry know each other but have never really got to know each other well but when they meet again once Sylvia has moved home there is an instant bond between them.
The chemistry between these two characters is hot and although they try to slow things down due to their recent relationship breakdowns, the attraction, the bond, the chemistry is hard to fight.
Sylvia and Henry have a beautiful supportive friendship that grows into more.
You could say Henry and Sylvia are soul mates who have finally found one another but had to go through other experiences until it was time for each of their stars to align.
A beautiful heartwarming story.
Told in first person dual pov and leads to a hea
5 WINE AND TEAR STARS!! Oh my goodness….I needed a glass of wine and some tissues with Henry and Sylvia story, for happy and sad tears. I have loved Cloverleigh Farms series so far, but this book has taken the top spot. The feels are off the charts with this book and had my flipping pages like a crazy reader….I could not get enough of this story. Grab this book now, you will love it.
It was impossible not to fall in love with Henry
I was a smitten kitten throughout the entire journey between Sylvia and Henry. They were two broken souls, but the way they fit together was perfection.
Did their relationship develop quickly?! Yes it did. But I can say with all honesty that they simply made sense. It worked, their instant connection and admiration of one another was believable on every level.
This is a great series, but I’ll have to say this is my favorite one. Melanie’s recipe of swoon, sweet and sexy is why I read romance. Don’t miss out on this small town goodness!
This story was everything I was hoping it would be and then some! I smiled throughout this whole book and could not put it down. I had a connection with Sylvia and Henry’s story that I haven’t felt in a long time with a book. It was refreshing to have that again! Their chemistry, the sexiness, the witty banter. It was all there, all wrapped up in a lovely package. Another spectacular story from the awesome Ms. Harlow!
~~ 4.5 WARM AND TOASTY STARS! ~~
UNBREAKABLE made my HEART SIGH WITH SWEET BLISS! I have loved every book in Melanie Harlow’s captivating Cloverleigh Farms series, and this fourth installment, featuring two divorcees who discover a second chance at truelove, really struck a chord!
PREMISE:
Sylvia, the eldest of the five Sawyer sisters, returns home to Michigan nursing a broken heart. Her husband of fifteen years left her for a much younger woman, and she’s suddenly facing life alone as a single mom. After her marriage crashed and burned she’s understandably wary of ever falling in love again. Now all she wants is a fresh start, to provide a stable environment for her two children, Whitney and Keaton, and a real chance to rebuild her life. But then lightning strikes when she crosses paths with Henry DeSantis, a sexy winemaker who works for Cloverleigh Farms.
Recently divorced himself, the ruggedly handsome loner is also gun-shy about embarking on a new romance but these two kindred spirits find they have more in common than they ever envisioned. As their friendship morphs into a smoldering attraction, their combustible chemistry takes on a life of its own. And before they know it, they are swept up in a whirlwind love affair! Can these two wounded souls heal each other’s aching hearts or will the emotional baggage from their pasts prove too much to bear?
MY MUSINGS:
UNBREAKABLE gave me all the angsty feels and then some! This heartwarming and hot AF friends to lovers tale explores themes of second chances, starting over after devastating heartbreak, and finding happiness where you least expect it!
Melanie Harlow excels at writing sizzling hot love stories and this book is no exception! A soul deep bond between Henry and Sylvia blossoms as they find themselves in similar situations after their respective divorces. These two lonely hearts become one another’s soft place to fall over the holidays as they begin to navigate their new normal as singletons, and while they initially try to fight temptation, their magnetic pull proves UNSTOPPABLE!
I loved everything about Henry and Sylvia—their romantic chemistry, their witty banter, their emotional bond, their WICKEDLY TORRID interludes– and I rooted for them every step of the way! Henry and Sylvia definitely have some mighty big emotional hurdles to overcome, including some deeply ingrained battle scars from their pasts. And while neither is looking for anything serious, and try to keep their fiery affair on the down low, they forge a real kinship that’s goes way beyond physical gratification and discover A LOVE BEYOND THEIR WILDEST DREAMS! And holy moly —their sexcapades were filthy hot. Henry unleashes the wanton sex kitten in Sylvia, which is beyond empowering after all that this elegant, well-mannered Sawyer sister had to repress over the years for the sake of propriety. And, in turn, this normally laid back winemaker morphs into a SAVAGE BEAST in the bedroom!
As far as book boyfriends go, Henry is just so SCRUMPTIOUS! He’s “a cross between a rugged outdoorsman and a sexy professor” and a bit of a hermit, but then Sylvia and her kids bursts into his life and brighten the dark corners of his world. He knows this Sawyer sister is something special and despite his own shattered dreams …he wants her with a burning desire he cannot contain! So even though he’s still licking his own wounds, falling under her sweet, intoxicating spell proves to be a game changer for this glorious gruff alpha! Gah…my heart ached for Henry—his loneliness and melancholy and intense yearning for a family of his own were PALPABLE.
.
And Sylvia? Wow! What a wonderfully nuanced heroine! I really think Ms. Harlow nailed this character —infusing her with a plethora of endearing traits and complex layers that truly made her shine! I found myself relating to her storyline on so many levels. She’s a fiercely devoted and incredibly loving mother who will sacrifice anything for her kids, yet at times feels totally inept as a single parent when she sees them struggling to cope with the divorce. But when love comes knocking at her door, she just might find her own slice of happiness. However will Whitney and Keaton ever truly accept a new man in her life? And is Sylvia truly ready to trust her fragile heart again and bolster the courage to move on? Her aching vulnerability, deep seated insecurities, and emotional hang-ups all resonated deeply with me. I love how she begins to see herself through Henry’s eyes—beautiful and brave and oh so desirable—and her poignant journey gives us all hope that even when the life you thought you were going to live turns upside down, there’s ALWAYS HOPE for a sparkly new beginning!
In addition to the central love stories, one of the main draws of this series is the sisterly bond between the Sawyer sisters and their wonderful connection to their parents. I really just love the special family dynamic. Case in point: Sylvia’s family proves to be her rock as she starts anew after her divorce, and end up being her biggest cheerleaders as she falls head over heels for Henry who is not only one of their top employees but also someone they consider one of their own!
BOTTOM LINE:
Ultimately, UNBREAKABLE was a beautiful, tenderhearted and deliciously steamy tale that left me feeling all warm and glowy inside. Now I cannot wait for April’s highly anticipated story!
HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Omg Melanie Harlow has another absolutely amazing book. It’s so good can’t even form words to describe how amazing this book is. Loved every second.
When I saw we were going to get another Cloverleigh Farms book, I was beyond excited. I love these characters. I feel like it’s coming home when we get to see this family.
This story was so amazing. I tend to love a story that focuses on older adults, more established characters. That’s exactly what this story is. This is Henry and Sylvia. Sylvia is going through a divorce. Her husband wants a newer younger woman. And they are having a baby. After being embarrassed Sylvia takes off for home, with no fight from her ex. Henry is learning how to live on his own as well. He too is going through a divorce. These two are in the right place at the right time for each other. I loved watching the chemistry between these two. I love watching their love grow.
Melanie Harlow is an amazing author and I love her stories. I love getting lost in her writing. I can’t wait for her next book.
The thing I loved most about Unbreakable was how Henry treated Sylvia- the author said it best when she said that he is SO GOOD to her! It was so fun to watch their spark turn into a FLAME! I, like Sylvia, am knee-deep in raising a teenage girl, and Sylvia’s interactions with her daughter felt so authentic. I have enjoyed the Cloverleigh Farms series so much, but Unbreakable is my favorite for sure.
4.5 Stars
Loved this super sweet romance by Melanie Harlow! This is the 4th book in the Cloverleigh Farms series but you don’t have to have read the others to enjoy this one.
Sylvia has returned home to her parents’ farm with her two children, looking for the comforts of home and family to help mend her heart after her husband leaves her for another woman. She needs to take the time to figure out who she is as a single mother and what she wants for her future. While out for a walk one evening, she stops to talk with Henry, an acquaintance who also happens to work at Cloverleigh Farms in the vineyards. Even though Sylvia had seen him a dozen times over the years at family events, she isn’t expecting the sparks that fly between them this time.
Henry has been working himself nearly to death since the collapse of his 10 year marriage. He wants to avoid all the awkward questions nosy people ask and just do what he loves. He has heard that Sylvia has returned home to Cloverleigh Farms with her two children and newly single. Henry has seen her several times over the years and even though he thought she was beautiful, would never stray from his wife. When she stops by to say hello, he’s surprised by how attracted he is to her and how they seem to have so much in common.
Is it too soon for Sylvia and Henry to move forward from their failed marriages? How many times can they deny the chemistry that is sizzling between them?
I loved this story! Although I hadn’t read any of the other books in this series, I didn’t feel lost and immediately fell in love with Sylvia and her entire family. And Henry is a wonderful, swoon-worthy character himself! I loved that the connection they built seemed so sweet and true and not solely based on a physical attraction. Sylvia’s children endeared themselves to me as well. I hope there will be more stories from Cloverleigh Farms so that I can catch up with Sylvia and Henry again in the future.
I LOVED this story- it may be my favorite in this series.
Sylvia and Henry both deserve a second chance to be happy after not so favorable relationships, and Harlow gives this to them in the best way. The first chapter had me laughing and captured, and the rest of the story built a solid HEA. These two came together with laughs, flirtation and off the charts chemistry. I will say this was one of the HOTTER books that the author has written in this series.
I am enjoying this family and the dynamics, and I am looking forward to the next story
Touching. The word that comes to mind when I read a book by Melanie Harlow. Touching. Love stories. I crave a good old fashioned love story and once again Melanie delivers.
This book hit so many things for me. I walked the road the heroine is walking, at the same age, with the same amount of kids and the same baby daddy attitude. I felt this story. I lived this story.
Sylvia has been heartbroken. Henry has been devastated. The wounds for both are fresh and they are just looking to heal. To bounce back from the tragedy that has interfered with both their lives. Both just wanted a friend.
Melanie gave us a story of a woman reclaiming herself. Of finding her own way. Of saying I am woman hear me roar! Of a man stepping out of his comfort zone. Of learning to move on. Of being a superhero!
Her words were powerful, her story real, her characters relatable, their emotions heartfelt, and this book, this story . . . beautiful.
How is it that Melanie Harlow keeps getting better and better? Unbreakable the 4th book in the Cloverleigh series is fantastic. I love a second chance in love and romance story and Henry and Sylvia fit that perfectly. The story is fast-paced told with both Henry and Sylvia’s POV which I love. We also get to see a few cameos that were great and a nice surprise. I love when an author ties in other couples to the main story and Ms Harlow does it flawlessly with Unbreakable.
All in all, I highly recommend the latest in the Cloverleigh series – its a great read with a glass of wine and a warm fire.
***5 Stars***
I just DEVOURED this baby!
I actually shouldn’t have, and I wasn’t going to because…well…#thatworkthing. But I did that whole “I’m just going to read a little bit….” and then BOOM.
Book done.
And I freakin’ loved it! (It even made me teary eyed and sniffly ~ not necessarily a good thing while at work..) Not that I didn’t think I would. I mean, after all that was going on with Sylvia in Insatiable, I knew her story would all the things, but man…this one just got it’s hooks into me and wouldn’t let go until I’d consumed every word possible about Sylvia and Henry’s journey to their HEA.
I adored Sylvia and Henry. Both have had their worlds turned upside down, and though they are trying to figure out just when and how things went sideways and wrestling with what their futures will be like, they are doing their best to have a semblance of a life. Their journey to their HEA was a bumpy one, but I thoroughly enjoyed watching them collide and become more to each other than they ever thought possible. They had a flow that made it easy to see them together and pray that they ended up seeing what was right in front of them.
This was a great addition to the series. It gave me that family feel I love and had some great moments that brought out all the feels. I loved catching up with Mack, Frannie, their girls, Oliver and Chloe, Meg and Noah, and Sylvia’s parents. But after what comes to light in this one, I cannot wait to get my hands on April’s book, because if I thought this one was emotional…I have a feeling her’s will be even more so!

Henry and Sylvia’s story was everything I hoped for and more.
I’ve loved all of these stories. I cant wait for the next one. But I’m sad that the next one might be the last.
Starting a new relationship when you have children is extremely hard. So I understand Sylvia’s predicament. But it was told perfectly and beautifully.
Sylvia Sawyer has been hurt. Her husband left her for a younger woman, so she decided to pick up the pieces and head back home to Cloverleigh farm. She grew up there and feels it’s the best place for a fresh start for her and her two children. Henry DeSantis has also been hurt. He too, is suffering from a failed marriage. The two are attracted to each other, there is no mistaking that, but both are fresh off of their divorces, and feels like things are moving fast between them. But when they pull back, it just makes them want each other even more. However, when their secret is revealed, not everyone is happy about it. Can Henry and Sylvia finally get the happy ever after that they deserve? Or will they let others dictate their future?
I absolutely loved this story. Sylvia and Henry were amazing characters and watching how they dealt with certain situations was inspiring to say the least. Melanie Harlow did such an amazing job and showing how divorce happens for so many different reasons, and how being a single parent can be extremely difficult. Also, how hard it is for children of divorce to see their parents moving on. This was a beautiful story, and a fantastic addition to the Cloverleigh series. I am crossing my fingers we get April’s story very soon!

Melanie Harlow and the Cloverleigh Farms series…..AMAZING!!!
I have loved this series from the very beginning and each book just gets better and better. I dare all romance readers out there to not fall in love with Henry DeSantis!!!
Unbreakable is the fourth book in this series and I loved every word. I loved all the emotions it made me feel. This story felt real to me. It is a friends to lovers story, but both of the characters are emotionally broken. Melanie did an amazing job portraying what two divorced people feel and go through when trying to rebuild their lives.
This book is a standalone novel within this series. I also believe each book can be read in any order. This is told in Dual POV, which I love!!!. I will tell you this, you do see other couples from the past books, so if you don’t want to know how their stories end, then you should read this series in order. I thought the flow and pace of this story worked well. I loved that Sylvia and Henry built a strong friendship before venturing into more, but let me tell you, they also had smokin’ hot chemistry 😉
If you love a romance novel that has humor, sex, banter and two characters that are just meant for each other, then you want to read this book!!! As with all the books in this series, Melanie has a brilliant way of writing her stories that you can’t help but root for the couple to get their HEA. Even if it isn’t smooth sailing all along the way.
In this book we follow the story of Sylvia and Henry. They are both recently divorced and trying to rebuild their lives after having their worlds turned upside down by their ex’s. Sylvia has just moved back home with her kids to start over. Henry is a workaholic since his wife decided to leave him. Having this in common, Henry and Sylvia struck up a friendship that they both come to rely on. But Sylvia also has two kids to think about and some serious trust issues. Can Henry break down her walls?? What happens when the kids find out?? Will they get their HEA?? Read this book to find out.
I loved seeing all the Sawyer sisters back together in this book. I also enjoyed seeing how the past couples are still living in their happy bubbles. I look forward to the last book in this series. I think their is going to be a great story their!!!
You don’t want to miss this latest romance from Melanie Harlow!!! This whole series is one you will want to add to the top of your TBR list NOW!!!
Oh how I loved Unbreakable!!!! I’ve adored this entire series and Sylvia, being the oldest sister and most relatable character to me…she’s intrigued me from the beginning. So glad we got her story. Add in handsome Henry, this story is perfection! This story kinda made me want a mimosa and to double high five that beautiful woman 😉
The two leads have amazing chemistry! It’s not an easy path to love but what fun times these two have. Ups, down, feels, heat, fun, laugh out loud moments…this book has it all!
Highly recommend I loved it!
