Fate can be cruel.Luna DeLuca has lost everything except for her faith in herself. Kidnapped, tortured and threatened by a male that’s already killed half her family, she knows the only way to save the other half is by offering herself up to him. To save her sisters, she’s willing to do anything, even accept a claim from a male that isn’t her mate, a mark on her soul that will ruin her forever. … forever. But if this is what her family needs, what her pack needs, she’ll do it to save them all.
Fate can be twisted.
Michael Hudson thought his mission to save the neighboring Crescent pack was about helping out a friend. He thought it was about avenging an attack on his own. But the second he sets his eyes on the beautiful girl locked away in a dank basement he knows she’s why he was put on the face of this planet. She’s the reason he’s here. She’s everything. She’s his. His mate. His fate. His future. Only, she bears the scent of another and is nothing like what he imagined his fated mate to be.
But fate can also be kind.
As brave as she is, Luna’s wolf is submissive and submissive wolves aren’t meant to lead packs. They aren’t meant to be Queens. She knows that. So does Michael. But when he refuses to give up on her, refuses to walk away or back down, she begins to see why fate put them together. She softens him and he strengthens her and maybe, just maybe, if they believe in fate enough they can find their way to forever.

5 Stars!!!!!
After reading book one, I could not wait to get my hands on Michael and Luna’s story! I loved the first book so much and book two was even better. If that is even possible! Jess Bryant is an amazingly talented author. I have loved everything I have read by her so far! The fated Mates duet is her first dive into the world of paranormal, specifically wolf shifters. I love shifter romances and have read many. So I can say with confidence that Jess Bryant is the author of two of my all time favorites. Yeah, I know…I’ll tone down the fan-girling, lol.
So we meet Michael in book one, Unbreakable Bond. That book was incredible, just saying. Michael is alpha to his pack. His brother, Rafe has returned from wandering for four years. Rafe finds his mate in Michael’s best friend Zoey. But Michael is not far off from finding his own mate.
And thank God he does! There are a lot of characters in these two books. There is a lot going on in the plot as well. I am not going to say anything that will spoil this book for you. Though I will tell you that when Luna and Michael meet for the first time, it’s not a minute too soon. He saves her. And from that moment forward, Michael will not let Luna go. The heat, chemistry and tension between Luna and Michael was palpable. It was intense and I felt it all. Damn this book was hot! Those two together were sinful but at the same time I found them adorable.
Michael Hudson is a total book boyfriend!
As I mentioned there is a lot going on. All the feel are present. Another aspect present for me was surprise. I didn’t see a few things coming and that fact only added to my enjoyment. By the way, Jess, I love where you went with Darius. That was so perfect! I wish there was more on that.
If I have any disappointment with this book, It’s that it ended all too soon. Luckily, the author has more planned for us with the Crescent Wolves in the future. I can’t wait!
If you are looking for a fast-paced, intense read within the paranormal genre, I highly recommend this duet. If you are new to paranormal, I highly recommend you give these books a try. You won’t be sorry.
This is my honest and unbiased review. Thank you for taking the time to read it. 🙂
Determined alphas, strong beta, fighting clans. There are bound to be fireworks. This continuation of the story of Michael and Luna encompasses mystery, passion, intrigue. A must read if you have read the first book but still ok if you have not.

Alpha finally gets his mate
Unbelievable Faith is the second book in the Fated Mates Duet by Jess Bryant. This time pack Alpha Michael finally finds his fated mate in Luna. But things are not going to go smoothly for them. While I found the story-line of this book more engaging that the first book I did find it still did not live up to what I was expecting. I am not sure if it is this genre of romance story for this author or not but for some reason I just did not connect with this story and found the book to be overly long. There was a lot of steamy hot sexy scenes but I wanted more depth to both the story and the characters also.
I received a free ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
Unbelievably similar to hundreds of other books.
Lacking a plot that grips you and makes you keep reading.
I read this as I had read book one and wanted to know what happens.
Really not surprising that it was too simple a plot and so formulaic you knew what was going to happen before it did.
Found it amusing that there is all this talk from Michael about waiting forever for his mate, that he should have found her earlier, etc.
If you do the math, he became Alpha at 18, only 4 years ago. Michael is therefore only 22 years old, hardly mature, let alone had he waited years and years for his mate.
I found it stupid that no mention is ever made of Sasha until she strikes again. Who does not ask who was on the bad Alphas side.
Nearly stopped there and then but finished this book, wish I hadn’t, as the supposed climax was so scripted I wanted to laugh and roll my eyes as you knew every move and action that was going to happen between Luna and Sasha.
Won’t be reading anymore of this series.
Read through Kindle Unlimited.
This was a good read. I definitely need to read the first book in the series. I’m excited for the next book in the series.
Luna is the daughter of the previous alpha of the Crescent pack. Her parents were killed by the current alpha Maddox, and Luna & her sisters were all taken captive. He’s forcing Luna to mate with him against her will. As she’s being forced into getting ready for the ceremony, the Moirae pack attacks & Maddox is killed. Michael, the alpha of the Moirae pack, saves Luna & feels an immediate connection knowing she is his fated mate. Once they get back to his pack lands & she has recovered somewhat from her ordeal, he gives her the bonding/mating bite. It isn’t until this happens that he comes to the realization that she’s not an alpha like he had thought, but a submissive beta. This could possibly be a problem with his pack as she could be challenged & defeated. When one of his pack females makes a comment, Luna puts her in her place & Michael backs her up instead of stepping in to prevent it. (Smart man!) Some of Maddox’s followers escaped, and Leo, the rightful heir & Luna’s twin, reports that items are being stolen from his pack. The items stolen have been medical supplies & a crossbow. Luna is going stir-crazy just sitting around the pack lodge & she has to go for a run. Her wolf ignores Michael’s request that she stay on the path to the lake & back, and in the process, she’s shot with the very crossbow stolen. She’s knocked unconscious & is taken hostage again.
No more–spoilers could be given. I really liked this story. It’s a whirlwind romance, but it’s filled with lots of action & an HEA. There are some unexpected surprises & happenings in the story, but that just makes it that much more interesting. The end of the story has a bonus about one of Luna’s sisters & a new character to be completely introduced in a later book. I can’t wait for that one to come out! Pick this one up. You won’t be disappointed.
Jess has done it again! An awesome shifter story with great characters and storyline. Kidnapping, adventure and romance all wrapped into one!!

This is a fastpaced and wellwritten story that I enjoyed reading. This is the second book in this series and I can not wait to get my hands on the next one. Love the storyline and the characters.

Luna and Michael are perfection, and this book was so much fun! From the first page to the last I was completely hooked! Can’t wait to see what Jess Bryant brings next in The Crescent Pack novel!!
This kind of book is the reason I read PNR!!! Nothing better than a story full of growly werewolves. Yum!
Fated mates, Alpha werewolves, action packed and fantastic supporting characters – this story had it all.
We met Michael and Luna in book one & we get their love story this time. Oh what a love story!! I adored Luna – the submissive wolf who had to find her place. Michael was the perfect fated partner – loving her exactly the way she was. I also loved catching up with Zoey & Rafe – add in the side story of Leo & Darius and I was a very happy girl. I really hope this author gives us more stories in this world. Definitely recommend to my PNR Book friends.
I received an arc of this book.
Unbelievable Faith (Fated Mates Duet Book 2) by Jess Bryant is a paranormal shifter romance told in dual POV.
When Michael, Moire Pack Alpha, leads a mission to rescue his friend Leo’s sisters and save the Crescent pack from an abusive, tyrant alpha, he doesn’t expect to find his mate. But from the moment he sees Luna, Crescent pack princess, he knows she’s the one for him – his fated mate.
Born a beta, Luna can’t understand how fate could match her with Michael, a Pack Alpha. Everyone knows that a beta isn’t fit to lead or be queen over a pack. Surely there must be a mistake. But Michael has faith that fate knows best and now that he’s found Luna, he refuses to let go. He supports her and together they fight to overcome obstacles.
I really enjoyed this story. After reading the first book, I was looking forward to Michael finding his true mate. Luna was a great character. I loved her journey from submissive beta to rising up into the alpha queen she was born to be. Full of action, suspense and steamy scenes – this was a fun read.
Wow, lots of adventure and suspense in Michael and Luna’s love story. Of course, there’s also plenty of steam and sass, and even a few laughs. It’s everything I’ve come to expect from this author’s shifter romance (and pretty much everything else she writes).
While each book in the Fated Mates duet is about a different couple, they work best in order. Start with Unbreakable Bond and enjoy all the spicy, wolf-y goodness!
After reading Unbreakable Bond, I was really looking forward to Michael’s story. He so deserved a HEA because he had been through so much in his 22 years of life. He is definitely an old soul and his mate Luna is the perfect match. I cannot write to much into my review without giving away the entire story so I will skim the details. Michael and his pack go to rescue Luna, whom we discover in Unbreakable Bond is his mate. Rescuing her and her sisters isn’t the end of the problems for her Crescent Moon pack and many challenges will face Michael and Luna until they can have some peace. Unbelievable Faith is written from dual POV and I recommend it to paranormal romance fans that like a lot of heat in their shifters!
Love this series!!
4.5 Stars
This is book 2 of the Fated Mates Duet and I really liked this book! I am a huge paranormal romance lover, so I had high expectations for this book and series. I enjoyed the characters, the drama, and the storyline. it was well written, flowed well and left me wanting more. Can’t ask for much more than that.
Luna & Michael’s story was the perfect conclusion to The Fated Mates Duet… this action packed, steamy read had me on the edge of my seat. I couldn’t have loved Luna & Michael’s story more
There were so many aspects to this story that I loved..from the amazing chemistry to the fantastic secondary characters that I simply did not want this book to end.
Michael and Luna have both had to overcome great loss in their lives and fight for their families & their packs; both having to put absolute faith into fate and what it has in store for them. Luna is a submissive wolf but certainly not a weak wolf; she will fight and sacrifice for the people she loves. She just doesn’t know where she fits…when Michael finds her the missing pieces finally come together. Michael’s love for her is undeniable and so swoon worthy Two puzzle pieces that fit perfectly together in fates plan; their connection making them stronger.
I loved this book so much and highly recommend this fabulous PNR read to any and everyone
I dove straight into the story after finishing Unbreakable Bond.
Jess Bryant sucked me into Moirea pack and refused to let me go.
I absolutely loved everything about Michael and Luna and was so happy to see him finally get a mate he deserved.
We first read about Michael in Zoey and Rafe’s book as the protective best friend/pack alpha. We hear little snippets about Luna, as well. But, not until the epilogue do we see what she’s enduring and who her mate is.
Ding, ding, ding… it’s Michael! Lol
Jess Bryant can do love. HOLY SHIT!
I just wanted to sandwich myself in between Michael and Luna and have him fix me all up with his sweet and understanding ways.
And, how about those steamy scenes?? **fans self**
BOY! Where is my alpha wolf. I must look into becoming a part of that mating ritual.
This book definitely took us on quite a ride. More action, drama, suspense, adventure than the first book and that warranted an extra star! I loved it!
So happy I stumbled upon this paranormal duet.
I need more information on Maya and that MAJOR ENDING!! Fuck! Aaaahhhhmazing!
**MUST FIND OTHER SHIFTER BOOKS NOW**
An absolutely wonderful conclusion to the Fated Mates Duet! The writer has yet again taken the PNR genre by storm and what an impression she’s made!
The story was very well balanced, with a bit more suspense than book one and it fit SO. WELL. The steam was off the charts in the best way.
I would be remiss if I didn’t mention how fantastic the writing was. From the descriptions, to the flow, to the third person, to the dual POV the writer absolutely NAILED it. I felt like I was watching a movie at some points!!!
I absolutely recommend this fantastic story!!!
Let me first start by saying that this book isn’t in my usual “let’s read this” genre. I couldn’t help but enjoy the story of Michael and Luna. Michael works so hard to open Luna’s eyes to the fact that they’re fated and that they’re truly meant to be. Both of them have felt out of place in their lives; together, they find their way past worry, trouble from outside forces, and their own confusion (more on Luna’s part than Michael’s) to cement their future together. Reading how Michael comes to terms with the changing dynamic of his family and life, all while helping guide Luna to find her inner alpha and ultimately save herself, made for a relatively quick and engaging read. I might even pick up the next book, just to see how Maya’s HEA works out!
