Dr. John Sanders has given Rebecca Brownell a new chance at life. After an isolated childhood, an abused adolescence, and an institutionalized existence, Rebecca is finally free to conquer her demons and build a promising life.
However, just as it appears Rebecca has achieved her dreams, eerily personal letters begin arriving in the mail. Letters sent from an unidentified source who knows far … knows far more about her past than anyone should. Letters which question and threaten Rebecca’s sanity.
Unauthored Letters is the inspiring tale of a woman’s troubled past, a man’s quest to protect her, and their fight against a mysterious foe. It’s a story of trust strained by illness, love tried by lies, and promises terrorized by elusive danger.

This was definitely not what I expected-but it was much better than I expected. It was one of those books where you kept thinking you knew who the culprit was almost to the end. Actually, I don’t think I did realize it until the very end. A good book!!
I was taken with how realistic the characters were portrayed. Very compelling story that highlights how we assume the worst.
This was a very interesting and unique book
It was unpredictable and thought provoking.
I love books where the character’s psychological background has me questioning what is real and what is imagined. The theme, the plot, the characters were all interesting, and the balance between the unfolding and the suspense was just right. I enjoyed how the relationship of the doctor at the psychiatric facility and the patient, the protagonist, …
Held my attention and easy to read. Spell binding!
I wish I had read the first book in this series first. Although this book can be read by itself, I believe there were things I missed because I had not read the previous book. It was an interesting concept, a psychologist marrying a former patient, and the story line kept me guessing.
The book is gripping! It makes us think twice about trust and relationships.
Very interesting and easy to read. I liked the characters.
I had to keep reading to catch on to the “backstory” and how it fit into the rather creepy present. I won’t spoil it by remarking on the old movie that was the basis for stories like this one. It was done really well and it was not really predictable.

Very exciting.
Different.
Great story. Keeps the reader interested.
Very good book .
A slow start, but a good ending.
so so and at times incredible more than haunting
I had a hard time finishing this book. Some of the characters are kind of unrealistic. Makes you wonder why things would happen and could have been avoided with just common sense. The book is misleading.
Boring ,did not hold my interest!
I read 20% of it and just couldn’t get interested in it.
While the plot was good, it took too long to get there and as a result it was tedious reading.
