The last person I expected to see on this tropical island is my ex. Although, since I never actually broke up with her, isn’t she technically still my girlfriend?Yeah, I’ve got some explaining to do. And groveling. Probably some begging, too. Good thing we’re stuck at this resort together for the next three weeks.Corrine Harper is the only girl I’ve ever wanted, and I won’t let her slip through … her slip through my fingers again. They call me Aiden the unattainable. Consider me attained.
Unattainable is a standalone romantic comedy in the Night Time Television series.

This author is one of my recent fave finds–if you love OTT contemporary romance, this is the author to binge read NOW!
So sweet I think I have a…..
This book was so sweet I think I got several cavities. It was just too cookie cutter sweet for me. It’s not that I thrive on dysfunction but it did not have any real conflict. The only conflict was that they dated for all of five minutes in high school to have it end swiftly because of Aiden’s depression due to his parents’ death. It seems Corrie and Aiden are twenty one year old virgins still pining for each other after two years. It was a lot of hearts and roses and gazing into each other’s eyes. Falling in love within two weeks and moving with each other within less than three months, and six years later married with kids and professional accomplishments. The end and oh mention of the competition and some drama surrounding it.
Loved!! She is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors. So far I’ve loved all her books. There just full of happiness. Love. Excitement. It’s just nice a refreshing to read. Characters were awesome as well. He was sweet and swoony. She was shy and a little hesitant but they fit. Loved the ending and epilogue. Great read!!
This made my heart so happy!. Aiden and Corrie were so adorable. A feel good romance high on love and low on angst.
I love second chance stories and this one is great.
When Corrie takes the job with a new reality TV competition, she knows she’ll be working with Aiden. The same Aiden that broke he heart in high school when he cut her off without a message. The spark in instantaneous. Memories come flooding back. Corrie’s contract is black and white. She cannot be involved with Aiden while working on the show. But the feelings are too much to ignore, so they find ways to make it work. And it does….almost.
So many great feels and lots of love in this one.
I’m so in love with this wonderful attainable guy. He is swoon worthy from the beginning and so trustworthy that I never have to worry about whether or not they are going to have a happy ending. The story is well written and the characters are so sweet together. They are not perfect in any way, but their flaws are well matched and they make each other better people. It will make you laugh and swoon and you never want it to end, but how can you stop reading? Treat yourself to an addictive love story. I know you won’t regret it
Aiden Legend won “The Final Showdown” (a reality show), and is not filming his own music reality show “Stranded with a Legend”. Filming is about to begin when he eyes Corrine “Corrie” Harper. His high school sweetheart, but they were never able to see where things went. When Aiden and Corrie just was able to start, tragedy struck Aiden when his parents were killed in an accident.
Aiden was extremely depressed, and shut everyone out of his life. Him and his brother’s relationship was strained. When he laid eyes upon Corrie, he felt his world open up, and make up to her for shutting her out.
Corrine “Corrie” knew she’d see Aiden when she was offered a job to hopefully jumpstart her career as a music mixer for his reality show. She thought she could leave her feelings out of her job. Especially since it was in against her contract that there could be no fraternizing with co-workers.
When Aiden apologizes, Corrie can not stay upset with him, especially with the deep connection that they share. I love how the bring out the best in each other, and are patient. Such a wonderful read!
This second chance, friends to lovers book was also hot as hell!
I absolutely had to one-click this book based on the blurb and on the weight of my friends recommendations, and I totally enjoyed it.
The humour was spot on and really lifted the read for me. The witty remarks and the embarrassing scenarios that visually played in my head made me almost spit my coffee and have my work mates stare at me weird. It wasn’t all fun and games though. Aiden suffered such a tragedy that it altered the course of his life, and we also get a glimpse into his brother’s relationship with their parents. The effect that it had on the brothers carries from Theo’s book. His story is covered in Untrainable, and although I haven’t read his stand-a-lone story, I didn’t feel like I’d missed out on anything. That’s not to say that I won’t be going back and checking out the book though.
I loved both characters. Aiden and Corrine were strong, yet admitted their vulnerabilities, and they were honest with each other, which made a refreshing change.
It was a great book that I read over the course of my day and I enjoyed every moment with Aiden and Corrie. 4.5 Stars.
This second chance romance revolves around Aiden and Corrie. Having started to date in College and then having it cut short because of tragedy they finally reunite years later on a reality show. I liked the whole reality show concept and what can happen when the cameras aren’t rolling. I really liked Aiden he has a heart of gold and just cant get over his first love and he will move heaven and earth just to be with her. Corrie…. my god she has issues, too many for me to establish a connection with. She was scared of everything, allergic to everything and basically just too high maintenance and annoying for me. I loved the secondary characters they were more interesting to me more than the main ones were and i loved Noah and his wife as they were a big help to them and risked a lot so they could be together. Overall I did like this book just not as much as I was hoping too.
Aiden and Corrie met when they were in high school. When Aiden suffers a devastating loss his senior year he shuts himself off from everyone including the girl he had just begun dating, Corrie. Now two and a half years later Aiden is starring in his own reality show and Corrie works for the network. Neither has truly gotten over the other, but will they be able to get over past hurts and move forward with each other? I enjoyed this quick read, and seeing Theo and Aiden interact was a bonus.
Jamie Schlosser is a new-to-me-author, even though I have already purchased 3 of her books, they still sit in my TBR list. This book I received as an ARC, that I won on a contest on a Facebook group. I have no idea why I hadn’t read her books before now, I loved this book. The second chance romance of Aiden and Corrie had been a very convoluted relationship, while they were in High School, and had ended on a very sad note. Their reconnection, while on a singing contest held on an island, made them both realize that their love was still there. They talked everything out and began a hidden relationship again. Several episodes occurred towards the end and they had to separate. Their love was stronger and made them reunite and they finally got their HEA. I plan to read the books that I already have by this author, and to buy more of her books.
4 1/2 Stars!
Unattainable is a good read. It’s book two in the Night Time Television Series but it can be read as a standalone. If you read the first one ( Untamable), you’ll be happy to know we get some
Theo and Hadley in this one. The focus of this story is Theo’s brother Aiden. Aiden is super sweet and nice. He and Corrie were high school sweethearts but after the death of his parents he pushed everyone away including Corrie. Now they are both on the set of Stranded With A Legend. Corrie is a music mixer for the reality show. She has a clause in her contract that there is no fraternizing with co-workers. That means Aiden should be off limits but once these two get talk there’s no stopping a relationship between them. These two were super cute and I loved their story.
Welcome to the book that second chance romance fans have been craving! This is the story of Austin and Corrine. They were friends who became boyfriend/girlfriend as teens. Then tragedy occurred for Austin. He disappeared and abandoned Corrine. Years later they are adults. He is a famous country artist. She is the music mixer for the new reality talent show he is the star of. As soon as they see each other the attraction that was so strong as teenagers returns. Lives are explained and they rekindle their connection. The only issue is that Corrine’s contract says she can’t be romantically involved with anyone working on the show, especially the star. So begins a secret romance. And talk about steamy! But the steamy scenes don’t take away the true beauty of their relationship. This is a beautiful story about finding that person who completes you. The person who makes you feel safe and accepts you for who you are. I can’t love Austin and Corrine enough. I enjoyed every second of this story. My heart warmed the whole way through. I wish they were a real couple so we could follow them on social media! Bravo to Jamie Schlosser. She wrote the story my heart was craving.

~~ 4.5 SUPER SHINY STARS! ~~
“It’s only ever been you…”
Grab a suitcase, a string bikini and some sun block because Jamie Schlosser is about to whisk you off to tropical paradise in UNATTAINABLE, the third captivating standalone in her Nighttime Television Series!
THE PREMISE:
Back when they both attended the Weston Academy of Fine Arts, Aiden Legend and fellow songbird, Corrie Harper, were in perfect harmony on—and off—the stage! But mere moments after sharing their very first kiss, they were torn apart by unspeakable tragedy. Drowning in grief over his parents’ deaths, Aiden dropped out of Weston Academy and a heartbroken Corrie never heard from him again. But even as they both went on to pursue their lifelong ambitions, neither of them forgot their sizzling hot connection…or stopped wondering “what if….”
Now two and a half years later, they get a chance at a DO OVER when they reunite on the reality music TV show, Stranded with a Legend, in which Aiden’s the star and Corrie has landed her dream job behind the scenes as the audio engineer.
Sparks immediately reignite between the former sweethearts, but no matter how much she might still pine for him, Corrie knows that Aiden Legend was always the shining star she couldn’t quite reach. And besides, fraternization on the set is a STRICT NO-NO. However, America’s ‘it’ man is bound and determined reclaim his adorkable first love and pulls out all the stops to make her his! But can this lust-crazed, hopefully-smitten duo achieve the UNATTAINABLE once their three weeks of tropical bliss comes to an end?
MY MUSINGS:
I always get a giddy euphoric rush while reading a Jamie Schlosser book and WOW did she make me fall head over heels in love with UNATTAINAIBLE! This sweet, captivating, delightfully sexy rom-com tugged at my heartstrings, tickled my funny bone, and made me FEEL ALL THE FEELS!
The writing is top notch as always. Ms. Schlosser’s warm, breezy prose just flows so effortlessly, her comedic timing is BRILLIANT, her whimsical tone is tinged with heartfelt poignancy, and hee hee she may be the ONLY author on the planet who makes me a total believer of the DOUBLE VIRGIN TROPE! I am also a sucker for a swoony second chance romance and she provided a triple whammy by transporting this darling duo to an exotic tropical island AND adding a forbidden workplace twist!
Furthermore, I truly admire how she always crafts a delightfully entertaining, lighthearted read that provides the perfect romantic escape, yet still manages to delve into real life, relatable problems that strike a chord! For at its core, this is a story of love, acceptance, soul deep healing, seizing second chances and finding your rightful place in the world!
Sighhh…both MCs completely stole my heart! For starters, Aiden is so DREAMY! Magnetically charming, chivalrously sexy and oh so gentlemanly, he gave me BUTTERFLIES GALORE! But this drop-dead gorgeous country crooner is not your run of the mill celebrity BBF! Aiden suffered a horrific family loss that truly reverberated throughout his life. My heart ached for what he went through after his parents died yet his ability to pick himself up from his bootstraps to start anew and his sheer determination to atone for the past and win back the girl who got away just made me love him all the more!
“This was what it felt like to come back to life. For years, I’d been breathing, yet drowning at the same time. Existing, but not really living. Playing a part. Pretending to be happy. Up until now.”
And his lavender-haired ladylove, Corrie, is also TOTALLY RAD! I was drawn to her sweetness, her spunk, her kind-heartedness, and her HUGE capacity for love and forgiveness. But just like Aiden, this petite beauty is not infallible. Her quirks, vulnerabilities, deep seated insecurities, and fierce, stubborn determination to forge her OWN path, totally endeared her to me!
Gah! I truly couldn’t get enough of this vibrant, fun, goofy, PERFECTLY IMPERFECT couple! Individually they shine but together Aiden and Corrie SPARKLE like true superstars! They have the kind of magical chemistry that takes your breath away, they make each other braver—and ridiculously happy—and truly bring out the best in each other.
“You’re my courage and I’m your contentment.”
Of course, the fact that they must rendezvous in secret made this romance even hotter—and more awkwardly adorable—and as the plot unfolds and these cute clandestine lovers find themselves baring their souls, healing old hurts, and falling head over heels for each other again, I felt this palpable sense of urgency building between them because they are on borrowed time. Can they find a way to fit into each other’s worlds once the reality show ends? Well…duh…it goes without saying that Aiden and Corrie get their long-awaited HEA—with a swoony epilogue to boot— but the journey along the way is not without some nail-biting tumult!
As for the side characters, they were FANFREAKINGTASTIC and they added a lot of warmth, wit and juicy drama to the wonderfully penned reality show-based storyline! And although I have not read the first two installments in the Nighttime Television Series—and this book reads fine as a complete standalone— now of course I want to catch up with the entire series. I especially want to know more about Aiden’s older brother, Theo, who is featured predominantly in this book as host/producer on the reality show. I really loved the sibling bond between these two young men, who have mended fences after a long estrangement—and can’t wait to dive into UNTRAINABLE, which features Theo and Hadley’s romance.
Highly Recommend!
Take the sweetest story you’ve ever read combine with with great giggle inducing humor, then throw it out the window because it’s still not at the level of awesome that Unattainable is. I seriously devoured this book. I’m talking, I didn’t even so much as move an inch once I started reading because I was so lost in Aiden and Corrie’s story.
They have such a sweet second chance. Reading this was better than eating a snickers. And I have a major snickers addiction. These two are just one of those couples you know from the very start are meant to be. Absolutely destined for each other, they’re the perfect match and their love leaves you heaving happy sigh after happy sigh while you’re reading.
Unattainable – Jamie Schlosser
Jamie Schlosser always deliver in her romantic comedies and Unattainable definitely meets the brief.
Book #3 in the Lat Night Television series, it was easily read as a stand-alone, though having read the previous books definitely gave me more background to work with.
A sweet, funny and at times awkward telling of a second chance romance between rising television star Aiden and the lilac haired sound engineer Corrine.
These two characters share a past and without giving away spoilers, their past certainly hasn’t waned.
Totally absorbing and very much a fun weekend read for me. Loved this story and the series as a whole.
A fellow reader and friend told me how much she enjoyed reading Unattainable by Jamie Schlosser, so I decided to check it out myself, and let me tell you I am so glad I did. I absolutely loved this book. A sweet and charming second chance romance I devoured.
Aiden and Corinne were young, happy and in love, but tragedy sent them down separate paths. Now, years later, they are both working on the same reality show. One a star and the other behind the scenes. Aiden was lost after he lost his parents, but his life finally seems to be on the right track. Though something was always missing. He found what it was when Corinne entered his life again. But could she ever trust him again?
Unattainable by Jamie Schlosser was such a great read. I loved the characters and their journey so much. Aiden and Corinne had such undeniable chemistry. Aiden was such a good guy. He was caring and determined. Corinne was independent and quirky and just so likable. I have not read the previous books yet, but I plan on doing so soon.
Read and reviewed for Sultry Sirens Book Blog.
Happy reading!
This lighthearted and make you feel good story was exactly what I needed. Its packed with laughs, lots of emotions and even second chances.
Aiden and Cory are both great, wholesome and lovable characters that will leave you laughing and feeling good. They knew each long ago when they were teenagers and were falling for each other. Aiden left without a trace and sort of left them hanging. All these years later they are brought face to face again. Both wondering what will happen and will their old chemistry and attraction still be there.
I loved this book right from the start. It definitely met all my expections and so much more. This was the perfect feel good story that included lots of laughs and passionate chemistry. I can’t say enough good things about it, if your looking for a sweet, sexy Romcom, you won’t go wrong with this one.
Aiden and Corrine were together when they were younger, then a tragic event caused them to split up. Now Aiden is on a tropical island for a tv show filming and meets Corrine there. Will things change this time? Aiden is determined to keep Corrine and make sure she understands what happened in the past. A good read.
Unattainable was a beautifully written second chance romance. I loved it for cover to cover, couldn’t put it down. This is my first Jamie Schlosser book and I’ll definitely be looking for more.
This is Corrie and Aidan’s story. High School sweethearts that were separated suddenly more than two years earlier. Both haven’t let go of their feelings and it doesn’t take then long to take a things from exactly where they left them.
