As a senior in high school, Breana Anderson has her hands full. Not only does she have her school work for high school and a part-time job but she also takes on extracurricular activities while attending early college.Breana finds herself in an awkward situation when she is sexually assaulted by her professor. She knows that this will have a huge impact on her life but is astounded when many … when many other students come forward and make the same claim.
Her boyfriend, Brian, is very controlling, and Breana isn’t sure how to deal with him. Fortunately, she has a wonderful support group to help and guide her through her challenges – her parents, her best friend Chloe, little sister Summer, and big brother Luke.
Her love life is a mess but she knows what she has to do…

Great message, it’s a type of book that inspire young children and young adults.
Very entertaining and engaging
Outstanding book!
Empowering, great cover, and SUPER entertaining.
I was laughing so hard, shouting at the book lol, saying aww here and there. Yelling Breana what are you thinking!?!?! talk to him, girl! Or girl you better leave that no good boy alone! I loved her little sister Summer! She was tripping me out! Chloe, she is my girl! I was like yes, I am heavy set and loving the skin I am in! I love how the author made this book family ornate. I can’t help but think the reason why the author isn’t getting recognized is that she speaks the truth, and most of her books are about family, and not poverty. I notice the people of color book hits #1 if they are talking about blacks in the ghetto or living in poverty. This book is amazing and needs to be seen and into more readers’ hands. I love how this book empowered me as a caucasian young lady. The author’s books are for every race, color, religion, and sex. I I was empowered by her writing once again! I am going to read a Woman’s Love is Never Good Enough, next.
I can put anything, I put my mind to. I execute what I need to execute. I strive to be the best version of myself. This is what I have learned after I read this fantastic book. I really love Breana’s mindset on standing up for what she believe in and getting the job done. great book. This is now my favorite book to read.
This book is really entertaining, I was well engaged. My favorite part of the book was when bree stands up for sexual abuse. This book is a very high school/teenage like. And is very action-packed. This book will not let you down. BUY IT.
GREAT BOOK OH MY GOSH!!! I cam not express in words how much I LOVE this book but I will try lol. This book can be so relatable to anyone but especially young teens. Boy struggles are always a problem and I think it is a great way to educate young women on how and when they should know they deserve better! All through a fictional book, great idea! I love this book so much I personally related to it the most more than any other book that I have read from this author. MUST READ!
I found this book in this well-designed website that was specifically made by Charlena e Jackson and found Unapologetic for my flaws and all. Great book, great message, romantic, and entertaining.

There are other things going on, but I am NOT going to give away the goodies (you have to READ IT!!)

I read Unapologetic for my flaws and all with my book club and it was an excellent read! I loved how the author used life situations in this book. It was a funny, lovable, family environment, teen issues with the relationship, knowing our worth, educational, and it was the story of a teenager’s life of what we go through.
I am happy that we found this read and I loved and stand with Brenan the brave!
This was a good book and I would recommend it to all girls! This book will give all girls of any age or race to courage to stand forward and speak up!

My girls and I are writing reviews today about Charlena E. Jackson’s books (well the ones we read so far). First, I want to say ALL of Charlena E. Jackson’s books are very insightful, speak the truth, and about the reality of life! I think all young girls, teens, young adults, and college-age girls should read the books we are writing reviews for tonight. We read In Love with Blindfolds On first, and we loved it! Then we went down the line and read Dying on the Inside and Suffocating on the Outside (which was a wonderful read!), Unapologetic for my Flaws, and All 2nd (make sure you read the 2nd ed because it has more to give than the 1st edition, and the quotes in the 2nd ed are AMAZING!), A Woman’s Love is Never Good Enough 2nd ed (make sure you read the 2nd edition!), and Dear Fathers of the Fatherless Children.
**Note we are in the process of reading I am Speaking Up but You’re Not Listening 2nd edition, then Teachers Just Don’t Understand Teachers Hurt 2nd ed (I know it’s a kid’s book but I cannot wait to read it!)
In Love with Blindfolds On: Was a FANTASTIC read! It kept me on the edge of my toes. I must say, I read ahead of my girls because I wanted to know what happened next! Ryder was on a roller coaster ride, and honey, you went through so much, she never had sweet dreams when it came to Tee. I love how the author speaks the reality of a domestic young violent relationship. She made this book come to LIFE!. This is a MUST-READ NOW! Too many young teenagers are falling down the rabbit hole of love.
Dying on the Inside and Suffocating on the Outside: Interesting read! I never read a book about a teen eating disorder. I use to be a teenager who had an eating disorder and I wish I had this book years ago. This book is profound and a MUST-READ for people who are facing and battling an eating disorder. Poor, Sklyer when through it, and it wasn’t easy at all. However, she transformed slowly, but surely… I loved this book so much because it was my story!
Unapologetic for my Flaws and All 2nd ed- My, my, my, this book is for ALL girls and all ages because it is a POWERFUL read! It touched on all kinds of topics and issues teenagers go through, and I loved this book so much! I think ALL school (middle 8th graders- the high schoolers should be mandatory to read this book! It would help a LOT of girls learn how to speak their truth!
A Woman’s Love is Never Good Enough 2nd ed: The author told many of her personal stories and it helped me to want to not make the same mistakes as she did, and it opened my eyes to see that not everyone is for me, It really helped me at a young age to know that I need to put myself first and it is okay to give myself self-love. I loved this book so much because the author was bold to talk about her life, but she wrote it in a way as if she was telling her readers to be cautious because regardless of what you do for others as a woman most of the time it will never be good enough! I love this book is my woman’s bible!
Dear Father of the Fatherless Children: Helped me as a teenager without a father in my life. I was reading how I felt, and my heart desires. This book helped me to forgive and move on. I was very emotional reading this book. I loved every single chapter! A must-read for everyone without a father in their life. It would help you move on because life is meant to be lived!
If Charlena E. Jackson read her reviews I want you to know you saved my life in so many ways. I appreciate you.
I so failed in love with Unapologetic For My Flaws and ALL. This book was just what I needed! I love the author’s other girly book too! They are intriguing. I love Bree! I am team Bree and I am standing with Breana! Bee’s confidence and determination are what I needed to read! Her drive is one of a kind! I was thinking about participating in the early college and I decided I am going to give it a go! I thought it was going to be a tad bit too much, but I know now I can handle it! I loved how the author talked about family, teen relationships, and how a teenager can multitask and put his/her mind to what ever she/he wants it can be accomplished. I loved her the author had the character take a stand for what she believed in! We need that nowadays! Oh, and Summer, Bree’s sister is my girl! I loved her bestie Chloe too! This is an ALL around book! One of my fav’s read!
