Slade Cruz is a d*@k.
He’s intimidating, sexy as sin, and unpredictably wild. His eyes draw me in while his vicious smirk screams at me to run and never look back. I’m a toy to him, a pawn to use in his devilish games.
I’ve already suffered through hell and back and if it’s games he wants then it’s games he’ll get, but he should be warned, this time it’s my turn to play the lead.
This time, I … lead.
This time, I get to be the devil.
Aston Creek High was supposed to be my fresh start. This was my one shot at freedom, but he had other plans for me. Slade Cruz was never a part of my plan, but he sure as hell made me part of his. I thought I was through with fighting to survive, but it seems as though the games have only just begun.
Give it your best shot, Slade. I’m ready.

Holy trigger alert! I’m smashing my trigger alert button.
This book is good. I really liked it. I didn’t know if I would, but I did. I should have faith in Sheridan Anne. She’s a damn good egg.
Skylah and Blake Daniels have been done dirty. The worst of it all is, for the most part, Skylah remembers all of it while Blake was too young to remember the worst of it and escaped the most monstrous of the current parts. They’ve moved to Aston Creek for a fresh start. But Skylah’s collecting monsters the way some girls collect names on dance cards.
Day one in Aston Creek High, the school’s king and Skylah’s number one monster, declares all-out war on her. This is where our girl makes a scene and claims she’s the new boss in town. From there, it’s all downhill. The only thing these two don’t shed is blood–what they are dying to shed are clothes. They are combustible.
I’m in love with Blake, and if I could date him without Skylah coming after me, I would–yep, I’m delusional.
The cliffhanger on this one is a doozy, but I did see the names tossed out and where the crimes would lie when first revealed. I can’t tell you how much I’m itching for Lost Girl now. One-click here I come.
Recommend.
I absolutely loved first book in this series this is a must read book and you wont regret it. Sheridan is an amazing author. The main female character is a kick a** character who’s been through hell and back bug keeps going no matter what including Slade. These two are so intense the moment they meet its a crazy trip we go on with them and the sexual tension is off the charts. Once I started this book I couldn’t stop until the end it’s so good you don’t want to miss this. I can’t wait to read the next book.
Aston Creek, Slade and Skylah are my favorites from Sheridan Anne. Everything about this series has left me need more.
Wild Girl picks up right where Lost Girl left off on the rollercoaster ride that is Aston Creek. Everything seems to come to ahead in Wild Girl. Lucien seems to be coming back full force and holding nothing back. When he goes after Blake Sky reaches her breaking point. When the people she loves are threatened she has no sense of self preservation. Everything that she has been through she would do it again and again if it meant Blake, Slade, and everyone else she cares about is safe. Skylah Daniels is something I didn’t see coming. Her I don’t give a crap attitude hides her heart of gold. Slades love for Skylah comes out in ten folds in this book. Slade is there every step of the way making sure she is okay.
I loved the grow of all the characters in this book. We get a deeper look at Damian, and I loved it. The funny, hot, broody man has more to him than what meets the eye. We saw Nessa in a whole new light in Lost Girl, but in Wild Girl she steps up even more. Character growth is a must in a series and every single character in this series has grown beyond bounds.
Wild Girl is an emotional rollercoaster that had me on the edge of my seat. Every page left me needing more. I could not get enough of this story. Sheridan Anne has created this world in Aston Creek that has just sucked me in. Wild Girl is addicting and amazing. I NEED Real Girl now!! Aston Creek is a must read series.
WTF did I just read?! I was head over heels in love with Skylah by chapter five and by chapter six, I was so far gone into the group at Aston Creek that I forgot it was a book. There are tear your heart out moments and tear your clothes off moments. There’s hate and heat, fire and ice. And the ending…OH MY GOD, the ending. Skylah is the girl we all wish we could be but with a story that will gut you. Slade is the guy we all wish would come into our room. There’s nothing I can say to prepare you for this story but I can tell you that your life is incomplete without it. Sheridan Anne created a world that makes me wish I could go back to high school.
loved every minute of this phenomenal book , couldnt put it down , The chemistry between slade and skylah was very intense , but every minute or moment was combustions. I highly recommend this read.

It took me a while to sit down and read this book, and oh boy that was a mistake. Once I sat down and started reading it I HAD TO FINISH IT! Cover to cover in one day. From the first chapter you can feel the chemistry between Skylah and Slade. I wanted to cry when it ended because I was not expecting that plot twist! I am soo looking forward to the rest of the series!
What did I just read?!
Aston Creek High is a brand new series by Sheridan Anne and I have to say, while I wasn’t immediately hooked, it didn’t stop me from wanting to know about these new characters. I had a feeling that something horrible had happened to our heroine Skylah but between what I was thinking and what actually happened…was so much worse. I also can’t count how many times I was hoping Skylah would knock Slade down a few pegs. From the moment Skylah and Slade cross paths, I could tell they had this dislike towards each other but with that dislike was also a lot of attraction. I can’t wait to see what will happen in book 2!!!!
Sheridan Anne came to play when it comes to dark bully romance. Her first book Ugly Girl is going to be definite hit. We meet Sky, who has had to overcome so many obstacles in her short life all ready, and her brother Blake who had the world at his feet.
Without giving to much away Sky is currently living with her Aunt and Uncle and living a life the exact opposite of what she knows. She meets Slade, Damian, Vanessa, and Maze. These four will have some kind of impact in her life as she tries to make it through her final year of High School. Slade is the main love interest for Sky and he runs the school. He doesn’t take crap, and Sky isn’t afraid to give it. She is definitely a strong, independent female who isn’t afraid to take what she is owed. When the new place to live she has decided to quit living for everyone else. Slade realizes just how much she can take, and respects her ability to give it back as good as she gets.
The closer they get their secrets start to unravel and they begin to realize just how much they have in common with people they know, and their family’s past. What happens now that the secrets have come out, and the danger is closer then ever before? I can’t wait to find that answer out in book two coming out soon.
Day one at Aston creek high and the king of the school is up in her face.
She’s not afraid to stand upto him. He doesn’t intimidate her. She’s going to show him who’s boss.
She isn’t what he expected. She’s going to be a hard one to break… but fear not they all crumble at his feet sooner or later.
Game on folks…!!
This ladies and gents is the book we have all been waiting for!
It is a totally unique read within the bully trope, and will more than stand out from the crowd.
Skylar will make your heart soar, for she has the grit, determination and ferocity of a lioness.
Her past has toughened her up, and now she’s more than willing to bring pain and suffering to all that cross her.
I wouldn’t want to be on her bad side that’s for sure!
Slade has the swagger, the girls and the skill on the court to wow everyone, but there is darkness that lurks within him.
He’s an amazingly addictive kind of character. I couldn’t get enough of his taunts and comebacks.
Together they are like fire and ice, get too close and both will destroy you!
Sheridan Anne has produced a read that is out of this world amazing and everything I ever wanted and needed in a book and it’s only just the beginning!
This series is one to want, need and definitely book time off from the world to devour!
Wow what a book it completely had me hooked , captivated and engrossed from first chapter….. Skylah wow what can I say about her apart from she is a kick butt kinda attitude that she has to have to protect herself from the evil that she has came into contact with from a young age ,she shows from the first day of senior year that she want back down , she will stand her ground and show people she want be trampled on…..go skylah I say .. and ohhh boy Slade is a yummy , gorgeous , hardass , badass, overbearing Alpha male that is used to bending people to his willbut Skylah is not having any of it and stands up to him and fights him toe to toe ……there sexual tensions ssid she n between them is off the chart will they want they ….well you just have to read the awesome book ….omg the ending wow wasn’t expecting that at all what a cliff hanger …..can’t wait for next one , this series has now become my new addiction Ohhhh by way there are trigger warnings at beginning of book so if abuse both physically and sexual are something that could upset you then heed the warnings ….although there are parts that are emotional and traumatic for Skylah she just deals with it with such badass attitude that you can’t help with fall in love with her ….. I love this series already …bring on book 2 love it love I love it
I volunteered to read this ARC for an honest review. This was a dark story about Slade and Skylah. She and her brother Blake have had a rough past. Their parents were murdered in front of them then sold to the highest bidder. But Lucian and Maria plan to sell Skylah to a business partner when she’s 18. But after a terrifying experience at his hands, Blake and Skylah run. They start a new school by their aunt’s house. But there first day proves challenging. Slade tells her she needs to leave them proceeds to make her life hell. But as secrets are revealed it appears things aren’t always what they seem.

Wow wow wow! Bully romance at its finest. I devoured this book. Right from the start you will love Sky and Slade. What an brilliant couple that have all the angst, games and fight you could want. The story develops from a simple bully tug of war to a full suspenseful ride where things aren’t always as they seem. It was raw, emotional and definitely gave me the chills in parts. The characters had spunk and were all developed and immensely interesting. It’s a beautiful story and I need book two like now! Sky isn’t a push over and gives as good as she gets. I loved her attitude and it made her character fierce and strong. She’s an inspiration! Sheridan Anne has given us a fantastic bully romance that will have you laughing, crying, smiling and cringing in the best possible ways. Loved it and it’s right up there for in my list of best bully romance books I’ve ever read.
Oh my god, this brings so many emotions out. You won’t know if you want to scream or cry. Skylah has been through so much, when she and her brother take off to her Aunts house. Slade makes her first day H***. She don’t back down, but her brother Blake wants her to try and make friends. They want a new start, but can they get one? Can she run from the past? Why is Slade and Damian constantly in her face? Can she trust Maze and be friends with her? What about these other girls that give her the stink eye? Will her past come out? Can she run from her the old life or will they come for her? Its a roller coaster story you will not want to put down.

I’ve read all of Sheridan Anne’s series. I was excited to read Ugly Girl to get the story on the two kids briefly mentioned in Haven Falls. Though this was not my favorite out of all of her series to date, I did enjoy the story and read it in one day. Broken Hill is still my favorite :). Slade and Sky are good match with tons of chemistry off the pages. I can’t wait to read the next book to find out all of the answers!

Ugly Girl is a heart-wrenching and emotional story of triumph over tragedy. Simply a great read that delivers all that it promises and more!
Skylah and her brother Blake have had a heartbreaking childhood that can only be described as a roller coaster ride of craziness. After escaping a terrible situation, they reconnect with their only living relative and move back to their home town hoping for a fresh start. The story begins on their first day of school at Aston Creek High. Skylah has been through so much that she’s developed a tough shell to protect herself. She’s expecting the worst and finds exactly that. When she meets the king of Aston high, Slade Cruz and his best friend Damian, sparks fly! He appears to hate her on sight and seems determined to push all of her buttons. From that point, it’s game on! She is determined to stand her ground, especially with Slade Cruz. She puts up with the insults and the mean girls and gives back as good as she gets.Trust is challenged and betrayals exposed. The sexual tension between the two was palpable! The surprises keep coming as the story progresses. It seems there is way more going on than meets the eye.
I was completely moved by this story. The author is very conscientious in the way she portrays sensitive issues. Her ability to bring these characters to life as the story unfolds kept me on the edge of my seat! While this story has emotional elements, the author perfectly balances it out with happy times, sexy times and grab you by the heart times. I couldn’t tell what was going to happen from one chapter to the next. There were twists and turns a plenty! There is a little bit of everything in this book. Romance, action, suspense and mystery. I’ve read several of Sheridan Ann’s Books, and although this one is a bit more intense, they never disappoint! She has a way of telling a story that draws you in and makes you fall in love with her characters! The reason for 4 stars as opposed to 5 is only because I like to know when a book has a part 2 before I begin. I was surprised by the cliff hanger. I cannot wait to get my hands on the next book! Well worth the read!
