I truly enjoyed this great story of a woman making her way in life after a less than stellar marriage. With her best friend along for the wild ride, it’s a page-turner. Well written and easy to read.
I had ten things written on my TO DO list today, one of which was, “Start reading Two Women and Too Many Men.” Six hours later, I have read it from cover to cover to the exclusion of all else. With tender and truthful characters, riveting tales, and stories that evoked altogether too many memories of the single years that followed my divorce, I literally could not put this book down. I loved the acceptance and love that flowed between Alix and Suzi, the honesty, the encouragement they gave one another through every horrible setback, and the shared belief that they would each find the perfect one for them. Two Women and Too Many Men is both heartbreaking and inspiring, steamy and chillingly candid in its look at the modern dating world. And it proves that hope lives eternal! Highly recommended.
This book is called a romantic comedy. Although it does have plenty of hilarious moments, there are a lot of sobering, heartfelt ones, too. For anyone who’s been thrust back into the dating scene after divorce (or even death of a longtime partner), this book will have plenty of meaning. It’s not about people (women in particular) being needy, because the two women we follow in this story grow to be strong and aware of who they really are. It’s about finding that missing half of yourself, about not wanting to spend your life alone.
I loved the ending. It leaves room for more fun adventures with Alix and Suzi, and perhaps even their other two friends who were looking for love.
I loved it!
What a fabulous read by the talented author Nancy Orchard, this is my first time reading this authors work and she didn’t disappoint.
We follow two gorgeous women lives, Alix and Suzi. Both women had been married, had children and then divorced. Alix only married her husband after discovering her pregnancy, as for Suzi, she had married her sexy high school sweetheart.
Both women had learned the hard way what it is like to be married to men who lie and cheat. We join the journey with these two feisty women and watch them grow and learn to become strong independent women, and fingers crossed discover a man who just might be their one.
Are men capable of telling the truth, stay faithful and love the woman they are with, or are they all lying cheating scum.
Grab a copy of this book, you will have a laugh, you might even shed a tear, but you will enjoy it.

Having previously found myself in an eleven-year, loveless marriage, I can totally relate to these women and their journey to finding true love in this digital age. I chuckled in many places as the women related their stories of mishaps, lies, and indiscretions. My heart breaks for all the missed time where they could be happy, but choose to stay with someone just for the sake of the children.
I found some of the scenes to be quite steamy, which isn’t my typical read, but the characters are so realistic that it almost seemed necessary to truly tell the story. The friendships are priceless throughout the book and I really like how the women continually seek to learn more about themselves and take full responsibility for their futures as well as that of their children. I hope there ends up being a sequel because I feel like these ladies have become friends and I want to keep in touch!
I’m pushing the Golden Buzzer on these two bonkers BFFs navigating the dating life.
Nancy, you gotta write the sequel or I’ll be forced to PM you with feet pix ’til you write one or block me (just kidding). Seriously, I’ve just had an amazing time in this incredible author’s brain, and I want more.
Blokes think single life is tough… they should look no further than this awesome look into the lives, hearts and minds of two hot women on the dating scene. It’s a witty, hilarious, gut-wrenching, heart-warming, eye-opening and emotional tour-de-force. Brilliant, Nancy, well done!
