Oh this book, Eli Carter what have you done to me? Emotion, heartache, humour and a soul touching beautiful love. Iz and Flynn are so freaking hot I’ve loved their story from the very beginning of One (which you need to read first)
Flynn is still battling his insecurities, no thanks to not only his separation from Isaac (Iz) due to work, but the awful director on his current film role. He lashes out when he’s hurting, but Iz is the one man who will never give up on him and when they are finally reunited, the sparks fly and their chemistry reignites.
The chemistry between these two is off the charts hot, but love is not plain sailing. Iz has an absolute heart of gold, he takes the weight of everyone’s pain on his shoulders, always protecting the ones he loves. Can their love survive another test as Iz leaves to help his big brother Nate who desperately needs him?
I love both these two men, their story, emotions, heartache, humour and the wonderful words from ES Carter have kept me glued to the pages. But there is something special about Iz, he has that something extra that’s hard to explain, but he has captivated me and stolen a piece of my heart. He has quickly become one of my all time favourite book boyfriends. Love that man
Thankyou for a beautiful book, I hope there will be more from this world, I dont want to let any of these characters go. Will there be something about Nate? Please? Pretty please??
5 “wherever you are” stars
Beautiful! I adore Iz and Flynn!!!
Having read all of ES Carter’s published works, I’ve come to expect a certain level of writing and storytelling in her works. Ms Carter did not disappoint with Two. This book is a continuation of the story told in book One of Isaac and Flynn, yet she masterfully weaves the story so that it could easily be read as a stand-alone.
The book deals with the love and difficulties in any relationship. The pitfalls of having had a reputation as a playboy as well as how a couple manages to maintain intimacy during an extended separation over a long distance. And, just for kicks, she brings in more of the Fox brothers and the family obligations putting further stress on an already strained situation.
As always, Two left me breathless with its intricate beauty and the love and passion these characters felt. Every word was perfection and Two showed us just how separate ones can come together to become Two.
Don’t miss this book full of the kind of hope that keeps you on the edge of your seat, twisting your gut, rooting for this couple and unable to stop turning the pages. I received an advanced release copy in exchange for an honest review. Thank you ES Carter.
I fell in love with Flynn and Iz in One. Their love story was a bit unexpected and wonderful all at the same time. So where is the author going to continue to take us in their journey? It’s heartbreaking and wonderful at the same time.
Now the couple is tested for other reasons. As the reader we see their bonds of family tighten as their circle is tested in ways no one expected. Add in the unexpected pressures of celebrity, not everything seems as it is. But our heroes Flynn and Iz come out the better of it.
Once again ES Carter weaves her magic. Her storytelling is engaging – something that you can’t put down and savor the words as your eyes cross the page. Two is a perfect continuation of not only Flynn and Iz about the entire Fox clan. I’m anxiously awaiting what is in store for the next story.
The continuation of Isaac and Flynn …
They are absolutely committed to each other, Isaac is Flynn’s first male relationship and this is who he loves .
Flynn has self doubt as he is working away from Flynn for Flynn Isaac is the one who grounds him.
Isaac has to deal with his family which is extremely hard to them both as both are in different places.
Their commitment to each other grows even though they are apart .
Life gets in the way , difficult happenings in their lives but you see them growing more together even though apart..
Such brilliant humour that E.S. Carter infuses with greatness
Both Isaac and Flynn are wonderful in their own way but together its near perfection..
The ending is magnificent .
Two beautiful sexy hot guys who have a huge sexual attraction to each other which is written gloriously in the stunning second book …
Love , Lust , Sexual attraction , tattoos , and so much more..
” Wherever you are , my home is with you “.
Two was a very good read.
We already met Isaac and Flynn in their book ONE.I’ve loved them, suffered with them and cheered for their happy ending.
Now they are a couple but their relationship is put once again to the test. They are struggling with their work commitments and some family crisis that keep them away from each other.
Will their love overcomes these hardships or their relationship has come to an end?
I really hope Mrs. Carter won’t make us wait to long to release Nate’s story.
Love by Numbers, what a wonderful series, Two, book 7 follows on from One, book 5 (confused yet), and we see Isaac ‘Iz’ Fox and Flynn Phillips in all their glory, seeking out their happy ending after their happily ever after. Both Iz and Flynn discover that it can be just as difficult keeping a relationship alive, as it is to start a relationship in the first place. Life and careers seem to be taking priority in their lives, even the strongest of relationships could falter with oceans between them, but are they willing to fight for each other. A wonderful story, beautifully written with some emotional scenes, but as we know from previous dealings with Isaac, he’s always the first to make a joke and keep things lighthearted. What a light, easy and fun read. Just what the doctor ordered. As a side note all these books can be read as standalones except this one, this should be read after One (the beginning of Iz and Flynn’s journey), as another side note, the perfect way to read this series is in the correct reading order, just saying. Bring on book 8, I can’t wait.
One (Love By Numbers, #5) E.S. Carter absolutely knocked this one out of the park! Two (Love by Numbers Book 7) was soulful and sexy, and utterly unputdownable. My heart was stolen by Iz & Flynn, and their very relatable journey through self-doubt, tough choices, and interminable distance, toward a rewarding and beautiful happily ever after. Highly recommended—but make sure you read One (Love By Numbers, #5) first!
It was lovely to catch up with Iz and Flynn and step into their world. A world where couples sometimes have struggles. A world where there are two people with careers, and their individual issues. But they work through them. There’s some hot scenes too. And we’re given a fabulous epilogue that finishes the book perfectly.
Isaac and Flynn are back!!
I’ve been dying to read the next part of Iz & Flynn’s story and I have to say my heart was in my mouth a few times
One was my first MM book I read that the characters felt so real and so passionate that they have a special place in my heart for them, so when Two came around I was thinking what could be next for this duo.
Two has just hit me in all the feels, it was actually quite hard to read some of the struggles in their journey because they are ones that are so so relatable to everyday life, and it could easily be us. The mind and heart fighting it out to see who’s going to win overall.
It was great to hear about some of the Foxes and I’m soooooo hoping we’ll get to hear more about them soon 😉
Isaac & Flynn
One of my favourite duos
2 of my favourite men,
Thanks for the ride hopefully we get to see some more of you both soon.
I absolutely adore this book and these characters. I want to be a part of the a Fox clan! I was so thrilled to get more of Iz and Flynn’s story!
Two is the second book in the One & Two Duet. One gave us a HFN ending but left us all clambering for more about this latest Fox brother and his soul mate.
“Because love isn’t one plus one—love isn’t about being selfish.
And love isn’t merely two.
It’s one plus one, plus family, plus acceptance, plus trust, plus hope, times infinity.”
In Two, emotions are high between Isaac and Flynn as Flynn deals with the director from hell and Isaac is stuck halfway across the globe with family issues. They have to cope long distance while navigating the insecurities that come along with their fairly new relationship.
“Knowing Isaac is my life’s greatest triumph.
Loving Isaac is my life’s greatest blessing.
And having him love me in return, is more than both of those things. It’s immeasurable. It’s incalculable. It’s infinite.”
A bit angsty and emotional, this story gave me ALL THE FEELS and left me with a little book hangover, but in the very best way.
-5 Stars!-
I am always excited to read a new book by ES Carter but when the book is about MY boyfriend I can’t contain myself.
“He may not have been my beginning, but he is my end. ”
From the moment I read One Isaac became special to me. He is one of those person who accepts the things as they come and finds a way to fix things instead of asking why.
“” Babe, it wouldn’t matter how many miles separated us. There isn’t another person on earth that could ever get closer to me than you. “”
In Two, Isaac and Flynn are finally enjoying their love together and trying to find a way to get closer when the distance is so long. Somehow, they make it work but life will make them face some obstacles that could threat them to be together.
“Because love might make me crazy, but not loving Iz would be worse than insanity.”
I loved how Flynn embraced and enjoy this new part of his life with Isaac. Both of them deserve happiness more than anyone and I enjoyed reading their new journey.
Two was beautiful but me, being me, will always need more of them.
” Loving Isaac is my life’s greatest blessing. And having him love me in return, is more than both of those things. It’s immeasurable. It’s incalculable. It’s infinite.”
Note: You have to read One before Two.
In Two, we find Isaac Fox and Flynn Phillips together and committed to each other. Without interruption in the timeline from One, Flynn is pursuing an acting career and trying to adjust to being without Isaac while on set. For Isaac, he is secure in his profession and couldn’t be surer of his love for Flynn, but he also knows Flynn still struggles with insecurities. Though there are some hiccups, Isaac grounds Flynn.
Starting this book, I was quite excited to get more of the magnanimous and sexy Mr. Fox and the combustible chemistry he shares with Flynn. While their dynamic was present, I wanted more interactions between them without peripheral character interference. As for Flynn, he learned how to navigate through his emotions and finally reconciled a longstanding matter.
Overall, it was good to see Isaac and Flynn cement their relationship. The way Isaac cares for those he loves is often selfless and endearing. Of course, the attraction between these two remains passionate.
Two is a story about acceptance and finding one’s own way. This book will appeal to those looking for a heartfelt MM romance.
Two become one… It sounds a bit cheesy, but it does describe Isaac and Flynn perfectly. Their story started in One, and in Two the men are a committed couple, very much in love and living their life. I love this addition to Isaac and Flynn’s story.
Flynn and Isaac are happily in love, and very busy with their lives and jobs. Being a famous photographer and a model/actor means a lot of traveling, and sadly spending time apart. Add to that Isaac’s large family and the men have a lot on their plates. Not that they mind, they know it’s a part of who they are, but Isaac and Flynn hate being away from each other.
Isaac and Flynn are the same guys as before, but now they’re a solid, committed couple who don’t hide the love they have for each other. It isn’t always easy, but the guys both know they have found that one special person. I love Isaac and Flynn and the relationship they have; they are perfect for each other. And the ending? Just swoon…
Two is the 7th book in the ‘Love by Number Series’, and takes us readers back to Isaac and Flynn, and the Fox Family. The main story is obviously about the two guys in love, but there’s much more going on. Two makes me love Isaac and Flynn even more (is that possible?), but it also makes me oh so curious for Nate and his story. Please don’t leave us hanging for too long Mrs. Carter!
Wow!!! When I read the book One, I absolutely fell in love with Isaac and Flynn, the Fox family and E.S. Carter’s writing, so I read every Love By Numbers book!! Two was perfect, Iz and Flynn have such a strong bond no matter how many miles apart, they always find each other. The book was emotional, family issues, timing issues, work stuff, but Iz and Flynn figure it out.
Flynn in LA filming a movie, Isaac back home in the UK taking photographs, the need to be with each other is great. Flynn is floundering and needs Iz, but Iz’s brother needs him too. Communication is the key and these two have a few issues in that department.
In the end, trust, love and family make everything possible. This book is a fantastic read, amazing writing, emotionally charged and well beautiful tats
Aaah the return of Iz and Flynn!
I loved their story in One and was so glad to hear we were going to see them again. This story shows that even in a solid relationship the road isn’t always smooth. Insecurities raise their head here and distance between the couple shows some of the ‘old’ Flynn, but they know their strength is together. Prepare yourself for some seriously steamy heat within the turmoil.
There were moments in this story that particularly resonated for me, poking at all my sensitive spots and it left me needing Nate’s story, although I fear I will never be ready.
I will always love the family dynamics of the Fox brothers, always demonstrated in their banter, but ultimately their ‘drop everything’ support of one another.
Home = Love = Family =Wherever You Are
Isaac Fox and Flynn Phillips once were one but now are two.
These delicious men we met in “One” have accepted their love for one another, conquered their demons and broken the barriers that hid a mountain of pain from each of their tragic, troubled pasts to become one of the most beautiful partnerships I have seen grace a written page.
But life has a way of disrupting even the most determined love.
Isaac and Flynn have revealed their love to each other and the world but with their careers separating them by continents can their burgeoning love endure distance and doubt?
With Flynn struggling with his new career and it’s pressures and Iz faced with a new family crisis, their faith and commitment to one another is tested.
Yet neither man is about to let the other go, and as determined as life is to separate them they manage to fight their way back to one another to reaffirm the bond they’ve created.
And it’s when these two come together that not only do they ignite the page with some of the hottest scenes I’ve ever read, but the depth of their love becomes vividly apparent and you can’t help but swoon at their intense connection.
These men together made my heart sing such is the exquisite imagery and emotion created by this talented author.
You feel each sentiment in your soul; I sighed out loud for them, cried with joy for them, hurt for them, and fought for them. I challenge you to read this story and not believe a love like theirs is possible!
“Because love isn’t one plus one-love isn’t about being selfish. And love isn’t merely two. It’s one plus one, plus family, plus acceptance, plus trust, plus hope, times infinity.”
One plus Two = 5 Resplendant Stars!
Two, a Love by Numbers book, by E.S. Carter is so heart wrenchingly good that you’ll want to hunt Ms. Carter down and tackle hug her.
Seriously, the feels are so deep and real.
I love the humor and wit that Carter infuses, while showing that even the most committed relationships and love have bumps and struggles.
But what matters is finding faith in yourself and each other. And knowing when to forgive and when to have that upmost faith that what you have is real.
Carter allows her characters to face struggles and she shows the depth of love for those who are not only our lovers but our family.
She shows us the light.
I truly feel in the depths of my soul, that Flynn and Iz will always be two of my favorite characters.
They are not perfect, but they love with all they have, and they’re both determined to be the better man for each other.
Isn’t that all we can ask for? Love, unconditional, and committed to the end.
“Love is one plus one times infinity.”
“Acceptance is Serenity.”
“Two is great, but when we are one, the rest of the world falls away.”
“Wherever you are, my home is with you.”
Now that’s a treasure. And Carter delivers it to us in these pages.
5 Phenomenal Stars
Iz and Flynn return in the much anticipated follow up to ‘One’, part of the author’s ‘Love By Numbers’ series.
‘Two’ finds Iz and Flynn dealing with life after falling in love. Working at their careers, coping with enforced separation and handling the problem of communicating when you’re not face to face, all conspire to test the strength of their feelings.
Add in some familial drama and a nosy paparazzi and Iz and Flynn have to work hard to maintain their bond. But when they do meet up, the sparks fly and the pages are scorched with the heat of their attraction. These boys are H.O.T.
The book was over far too soon for my liking; I could read about this couple all week long. The epilogue saw me crying happy tears as though I know these two personally. I really wish I did. Just perfect *happy sigh*
In ES Carter’s newest Love By Numbers series, “Two”, we are again reunited with Iz & Flynn in the sequel to their m/m romance/life that we started in “One”.
As typical Carter style, the book’s characters and plot will go through many emotions, many times wringing the reader dry through happiness as well as sadness. Carter can destroy her reader and put them back differently after “living” among the characters. But as with all of her books, you will quickly add her newest one to your TBR because you live for her stories.
The family dynamics thru all of the brothers continues to help the MC grow and have support as they go through their struggles.
I highly recommend this book, even if m/m is not your normal genre because as the saying goes “love is love” and ES Carter definitely shows that everyone deserves as well as needs love.
