I’m getting a little tired of completing my goals, only to have the bar raised too substantially for me to transition at a productive pace…I started off as a sad little ghost with an impossible crush on four really hot, Gothic guys with some attitude problems. Now I’m The Apocalypse, they’re the Four Horsemen, and Lucifer is my fucked up daddy. Now my additional goals look like this?Goal #9: … this?
Goal #9: Make a deal with the Devil without getting cheated, manipulated, or tricked.
Goal #10: Make my boys love me and take over the world…okay…so maybe just that first part. That second part sounds like it could take too much ambition, and I just don’t have the drive for that.
Goal #11: Make cookies.
Goal #12: Call dibs on my favorite color.
Goal #13: Find out if my siblings or my father killed me and my boys…

I have been so glued to this series… I have never really been a fan of reverse harem’s but I am absolutely enjoying this series.
I am a little annoyed with Paca in the sense that she is so righteous and what she says is all that matters and never seems to take in what the guys are saying to her. I understand it’s hard for her to come to grips of her past and what she is. Ha if. Said that I can not get enough of these books and can not wait for book 4 ‘One Apocalypse’ to be released….
FYI Jude is still my favourite
It just gets better and better!
Something big is brewing, and new information is revealed. These characters are amazing, and the story sets a teasing pace. I can’t wait to see what the final book brings, because shots about to get really real up in this joint!
I love Paca and her distracted sassiness, it is hilarious. Also reading the guys reactions to her is comicalas well. They get some answers in this book like who really killed Paca and why and how she saved her guys. Balance is everything be it heaven, hell or earth! I can’t wait to see what happens next for Paca and her horsemen.
I’m obsessed. I love these characters. I love these relationships. I love the whole concept of this story. I cannot wait to read the next in this series!
With each page, I love Paca and the Four Horsemen more and more.
The story continues to be great, steamy, hilarious, full of action, adventures, twists and turns and awesome one-liners.
We have new trials, secrets are revealed and the plot thickens more and more.
I even kind of like the Devil…
I love everything about this book. The detail that has went into the plot is astounding. The relationships in the harem is surprisingly light yet heavy at the same time. I cannot wait for the finale!
A devilish read!
Now she’s The Apocalypse, they’re the Four Horsemen, and Lucifer is her father…
She needs to find out if her siblings or her father killed her and her boys…
Another twisted, manipulative and funny read. Oh! The heroine is just so amazing and fantastic, otherworldly. She may be my favourite heroine all of time. And this book/series was just pure geniusness.
Full of souls, mystery, powers, monsters, trials, secrets, hell, the Four Horsemen and steam.
Perfect for readers of paranormal romances/fantasy romances.
This was another great addition to the series and here we join Paca as she is now called or Apocalypse if you want the full bad-ass name and her four horsemen.
So here we see our girl struggling with her origins and her place in their life and also rather envious of her boys bond.
She feels disconnected and slightly adrift from them initially here, she also feels they’re holding all the cards and keeping secrets again.
But as she starts to come into her own power the bond here really does snap into place connecting them more as a unit and the five start to become one.
This was action-packed and reveals more of the past with plenty of revelations.
one observation though the whole balance thing was a tad confusing for me it was mentioned far too much in my opinion.
Despite that above gripe, I am looking forward to the final stretch very much with this now.

Love this series
Paca and her horsemen learn who killed her any why. Paca is brutally tested, while her boys helplessly watch. While Lucifer and his brothers argue. There is an evil that threatens the destruction of everything and the angels think Paca and the horseman can defeat it. Lucifer has his doubts. Paca heads out for answers while her horsemen get stronger.
Different from the others, but clarity is finally here at last!
Okay. We now know who our Ghost Girl is… well, what she truly is, and it’s disturbing as hell. (Geez! Did I just type this?!)
I had to read this book twice to fully understand (I think) what was going on. This writer is about as crazed as Paca (our new name for Ghost Girl. But why are these guys such idiots? Who slipped what in their jock straps?
Don’t know. Don’t care. That’s Paca’s way of thinking. Except she wants tokens of appreciation, and these guys know nothing about keeping a girl happy and satisfied in all ways at the same time! Yes, we now know who are these guys but not necessarily their purpose as the redesigned, refurbished The Four Horsemen. And they, like Paca, are hardly at their full power, except now, we find out that there is a bigger, badder dude out there capable of destroying heaven and hell (eventually), and apparently Paca is not necessarily just a daughter of Lucifer but a weapon against the Beast, a creature who’s creation is still a blur to my sensibilities. Maybe I’ll figure it all out by Book 4.
One thing I can say is that this book is very unpredictable just as Paca is chaotically evil. Selfishly selfless. Wanting to be the best of the badasses in the history of the universe (including heaven, hell, and purgatory). Maybe she’ll get there.
Just to let you know, ever though this story states it’s a reverse harem tale, it’s really an anti-reverse harem tale. Just a warning to those who might envy her, it isn’t as great as everyone thinks it is. In fact, it motivates her into realms reminding me of playing 1990s version of Trivial Pursuit with the Devil (or in some cases, the Devil’s daughter!). So you better get to know your boy bands (egads!) or you will miss the clues!!
Buy the book. It’s original. I’m glad I did.
Arrghh to love her or strangle her.. now that is the question! But there is a definite method to her madness.. now if her men believed that lol.
Finally ready to say adieu to this incredible series…
Two Kingdoms was entertaining and action-packed. Had a bit of grammatical errors that were a touch distracting, other than that it was a really great read, it answered a lot of questions I had and then some. Really excited to dive into the final book.
This series just keeps getting better and better. More questions are answered, but Paca and her harem are still unsure of what’s true and what’s not because they still don’t have their memories back yet.
Paca and the guys kicked hella ass in this book as their powers keep growing with the more time they spend in Hell and with each other to make their bond grow stronger. Their connection was still a little shaky throughout the book until we neared the end and I loved getting Kai’s POV as a bonus scene to really tie in how the guy’s feel about Paca and their deep-rooted need for her.
My only complaint is that this book was like one big information dump and it almost did my head in trying to figure out what’s going on, what’s real and what’s not.
Lots Of Information In This One!! 3.5 Stars
This book is up & down. As much as I enjoyed the information of their backstory etc I really want more of them now – I’m greedy for them!! The Angels & all the double speak was SO frustrating
I’m really hoping book 4 is a great finale

Hilariously funny, twisted and touching; great set up for book 4
Book 3 in The Dark Side series, this is NOT a standalone, so don’t even attempt it if you haven’t read books 1 & 2 first. Given that, this review contains spoilers for the previous books.
I can’t count the number of times I’ve re-read the first two books while waiting for this one to come out, and I don’t even want to know what it says about me that I love this author’s twisted sense of humor so much. She never fails to crack me up no matter how many times I’ve read the book, or what style/pen name she’s writing under (Kristy Cunning is the pen name author CM Owens is using for her Reverse Harem books), and this new story about Paca and her guys is no exception. BTW:
Pro tip: don’t drink or eat while reading anything by CM Owens or any of her pen names.
In my defense, it was nasty, sticky hot, and it was only water, but, yeah, I forgot this golden rule. in case you’re curious, while there’s more than one spit take worthy moment, here’s the actual line that inspired my warning: “I need a handbook: How to Sync Mensies with Your Harem.”
I will say that if you go into this expecting a lot of RH bedroom scenes, you’re going to be disappointed. Two Kingdoms is more about filling in the gaps to set up book 4 as Paca learns about how and why her original self was killed, and some wonderful one-on-one moments between Paca and her guys. This author is an expert at evoking emotions, not just laughs, and there were times I was hurting so much for the characters I was moved to tears (that bonus scene at the end just about killed me).
Personally, I loved every hilariously funny, twisted or touching moment of it, and the only reason it wasn’t a one-sitting read for me was that real life kept butting its ugly, unwanted nose in my business. Off to start a binge read of the three current books while I wait for the fourth and final book to come out, which I think/hope will be released shortly. 5+ stars
