Really cute story with really likeable characters. Would definitely recommend!
This was a sweet story about Alice Evans and Jackson Kinsella. Alice had moved back to Sweetbriar Cove temporarily to help her mom deal with a cancer diagnosis two years before. Feeling like she needed to be more spontaneous, she impulsively started seeing irresistible Jackson Kinsella, a world-class photographer who was staying for the summer with his grandfather. Jackson needed the break to figure things out for himself, but expected to resume life as he had lived it, thinking the restlessness was in his DNA. The reader hopes that these two who have made a connection can figure out their future before it is too late. This author has a way of taking you on a journey to a simpler place and time that is endearing.
I enjoyed this book and look forward to reading more books in the series. It was a cute love story, a quick read and a good introduction to the Kinsella family.
An entertaining story. Many of the events are stretching life to unbelievable, the characters are wonderful and its a relaxing read.
The author needs to reevaluate her career choice. Her writing style was simplistic and juvenile.
Cute
Jackson has been living a free spirited exciting life as a famous photographer, but came home to sick granddad. Alice left her fast-paced exciting life to come home to sick mom and hasn’t gone back yet. They meet when her car has problems and this staid woman gets on the back of his motorcycle.
There isn’t angst between these two people. The story is how they individually see what to do differently in their lives to more forward. It is very well written. Ongoing story in this small town, but he is the first of the Kinsella’s.
Great author, good transition to new family in order to have more stories in this small town.
Loved it.
One of the best authors
Another lovely read from Melody Grace. I particularly liked Alice. As an expert planner and list-maker, I could really relate to her, and I loved it when she came to the realization that it was actually okay to be the way she was. I look forward to more from the Kinsella family in Sweetbriar Cove.
Two Hearts by Melody Grace is book ten in her Sweetbriar Cove Series and book one in the Kinsella Family spin off.
Meet Alice Evans. She’s stuck in her life and looking for something, just anything exciting.
Jackson Kinsella is a famous photographer and not a relationships guy. He’s on top of his world and restless at the same time.
Two Hearts is a sweet small town romance, a passionate slow burn, excellent written and beautifully thought out and told.
Next is Luke Kinsella’s story in The Story of Us and I can’t wait to read his story. 4,5 Stars.
Two Hearts by Melody Grace was touching and moving story about opposites attracting. Alice and Jackson are in different places in their lives. Alice is settling into her new normal. She is the kind of girl who builds roots while Jackson travels the world. She came home to be there for her mother, but now she is trying to determine what is next for her. Jackson is a professional photographer who travels the world. He is only in town to visit his grandfather.
When they meet, their attraction is instant and their chemistry is undeniable. They decide to explore what they have but keep things light. But when feelings change, can they truly let the other in? Two Hearts by Melody Grace was a light, charming and sweet read.
I was instantly drawn into this book. I loved the characters a lot. They had me invested in their story. I really loved Alice. Her planning and scheduling I thought it was an adorable quirk. Then you throw in Jackson who pretty much just goes with the flow and the opposite of Alice. That’s what makes them work they balance each other out. I enjoyed them going out of their comfort zones and being spontaneous. Jackson is yummy and good hero material. He’s has so inner turmoil to work out, but Alice gives him a direction he never counted on.The only problem will they let their fears of the future derail their present? I’m looking forward to from the Kinsellas. I liked the little teaser we got in the epilogue.
4.5 stars
A great summer read with a new family to fall in love with from Melody Grace It was easy to get caught up in Alice and Jackson’s story. They were truly enjoyable characters and the slow burn of chemistry and tension kept me engaged.
But can their attraction be enough for Jackson to change his ways and finally put down some roots? Will Alice be able to allow herself to finally have happiness.
Melody always delivers a backdrop of the town that makes you fall in love with another sleepy beach community and long to be part of it.
Looking forward to learning more about the Kinsella family in future books.
I love coming back to Sweetbriar and now with the Kinsella men things are definitely heating up real good. I loved that Jackson can sometimes seem so into the life yet parts of him seem like he wants to leave again. Alice have to say love her attitude and willpower to really want to change. These two together are perfect for each other the way they compliment each other and hello the sex is hot. This is part of the series and book 1 of the Kinsella family which is already kicking butt loved it.
“I received an eBook copy from the publisher for the purpose of an honest review. I was not compensated for this review: all conclusions are my own.”
Opposites attract fans, this is the book for you. Alice is serious, a total planner. Jackson lives life in the moment, going from place to place as part of his job. They meet and a kiss is shared. The attraction between them is totally electric. They try to fight their feelings but sometimes you just can’t. But they do have to decide about their different lifestyles and if they will stay together or go their separate ways. I really don’t want to give too many details about this story because it needs to be read. It’s a sweet story with real emotion. I loved every second of it. I was totally team stay together. I might have my own little crush on Jackson too. A great romance and a must read.

I loved this book!!!! I really enjoyed how MG did the merge of two different families to break off into the next series. Jackson is basically every Girls fantasy a sweet passionate guy with a bad boy image. Alice was a dedicated daughter who was there when her mom needed her and just decided to stay back in her childhood home and go through the motions in life.
The connection was a hot and steamy one. The story had a great storyline with a HEA. I really enjoyed their family and friends and how they mixed into the story. It was overall a great read and i can’t wait to see who’s book comes next!!!!!
While Two Hearts is the 10th book in the Sweetbriar Cove Series, it kicks off the start to the brand new Kinsella Family Series.
Two Hearts follows the story of Alice and Jackson. 2 years ago, Alice found herself back in Cape Cod. Ever since returning home, she’s been in a rut. She’s looking to shake things up and take chances. She longs to feel her heart race. So, when fate brings Jackson into her life with his good looks and motorcycle, this might just be the chance Alice was looking for…..When it comes to photography, Jackson loves the chase and loves getting that shot. So when his grandfather has a stroke, this gives Jackson a chance to get a little rest and relaxation. The one thing he didn’t plan on was Alice. Alice makes him question everything he’s ever known. He wants to take things one day a time and see where the chips lie. He’s not looking to be tied down, but if there ever was a woman that could make him change his mind…well, that woman might just be Alice….
Two Hearts was a sweet and sexy small town romance. There is just something about these towns and the characters that Melody Grace writes that makes you just want to slow down and get lost in the moment. And I for one, totally got lost in the moment. I was hooked on Alice and Jackson from their very first encounter. Their chemistry was instant and I loved watching their story develop. Both characters were at different points of their life, yet somehow they just clicked. They were everything the other person was looking for. However, fear can often rule peoples lives and cause them to make terrible decisions. And when those moments happen, you have to decide whether the risk is worth the leap?
Alice and Jackson’s story captivated me from the very first page. I loved getting to know them and I loved getting to hang out with some familiar faces. I think Two Hearts is a great start to the Kinsella Series and a wonderful addition to the overall Sweetbriar Cove one. The characters are fun and easy to relate to. The small town is filled with lots of charm and makes you just want to slow down and enjoy the simple things. There’s romance and light drama. Steam and unforgettable friendships. Two Hearts has something for everyone and will leave you with a smile on your face.
