After her grandpa dies and she inherits the apartment complex, Joey Farran spends her time between fantasizing about the sexy, rugged, toolbelt-wearing biker who lives a few doors down from her and playing pool at the local bar on Friday night, hoping to raise enough money to enter the Blackfoot Tournament at the end of the year. Her two favorite things never mix until Wyatt shows up at Riverside … Riverside Bar, gets drunk, and takes her back to his place. He’ll never remember their hookup, so what’s the harm?
Finding himself a full-time dad to his two teenage kids after his ex-girlfriend dies, Wyatt Carr’s life is a chaotic mess. His son keeps running off. His daughter is afraid of losing another parent. He’s working long hours running Carr Construction, spending sleepless nights on the couch, and his kids survive off eating pizza every night.
Just when he feels he’s barely hanging on, Wyatt finds Jess and Travis in the manager’s apartment eating spaghetti dinner… and the sexy, new owner of the apartment complex looks vaguely familiar.
Thinking his dark days are behind him, Wyatt is unprepared for the threats against his family. The only way he can hold it together is with the help of Tarkio Motorcycle Club and the woman who brings the sunshine to all their lives.

An amazing romance. Wyatt and Joey meet before he joins the Tarkio MC. The club jumps in to help when his teen son runs away when there is a dangerous man in the mix.
Joey is an expert pool player and working to earn the buy-in for a high stakes tournament when Wyatt meets her. Little did he know she is actually his new apartment manager. The chemistry and heat are off the charts. Not only that, his kids (which he just got since his ex died) really like her.
The relationship that begins as a one night stand grows with neither of them fighting the attraction and letting their feelings grow. Watching the four become a family is touching, steamy, and makes for a great story. Thow in the bad guy, mystery, teen angst, and you have a great read.
Each story in this series gets better than the last. I just hope it never ends.
I love the concept of this new series, telling the story of the people before they are part of the MC. Wyatt and Joey have depth of character and the real feel of people you know or want to know. I also love it is set in the 80s with all the references to that era.
I think this one is my favorite so far of the Tarkio MC series. Joey is the apartment complex owner/manager where Wyatt and his kids live. He ends up getting his kids after their mother dies. They are all going through an adjustment after her death. Joey is going through her own adjustments after loosing her grandfather and inheriting the apartment complex. Debra has shown us the members lives before they become members. Great series and can’t wait to see who is next.
Joey spends her time playing pool, and admiring her hot neighbor from afar. Wyatt is the father of two teenagers and when he isn’t at work, he tries to figure out how to take care of them. Their lives couldn’t be more different, but after a night together staying away from each other isn’t an option. But when the happiness of their new family is under threat, Wyatt will need all the help he can get, not only from Joey but from Tarkio MC. Two Hearts Born to Love is a touching and refreshing story, with real and amazing characters! Wyatt is a wonderful father, who deeply loves his kids, even though he constantly doubts himself when it comes to his ability as a dad. Joey is an independent and dynamic woman, who can’t help but love Wyatt and his kids, and wants to be part of their family. And Wyatt’s kids are lovable, vulnerable and in need of a mom in their lives. A feel-good romance about love, family and devotion!
Two Hearts Born to Love is an amazing read. It absolutely captivated me from the very beginning. I could not put it down and ended up reading it in one sitting. As usual the book was very well written. Great story line. Joey and Wyatt are just one of those couples. As you are reading you can just sense that these two belong together. Of course like with most things in life it isn’t a smooth start. Debra does an amazing job of interweaving their lives and creating their own amazing love story. I highly recommend this series and this 3rd installment in the Tarkio Mc Series.
