SavannahI didn’t think I was missing anything. I had my son, a great career, and a home that I’d made for both of us. One puck over the glass at a hockey game made me realize I wanted more. The larger-than-life hockey player inserted himself into our world and I never wanted to let him go. The thing is, I don’t know if I’m strong enough to keep him.PorterMy home was on the ice, with a stick in my … the ice, with a stick in my hand and a puck on my tape. It took one little boy with a toothless smile and his spitfire mother to change all that. I wanted them to be my home and I was willing to take all the penalties necessary to make it happen.
Now I just have to convince her that we can handle it all together.
Melding three lives into one isn’t as easy as it seems, especially with the traveling, the media, and the insecurities. Savannah and Porter have to decide whether to use the breakaway to head to the goal or take a seat on the bench.
After all, 425 Madison is the perfect place to fall in love!

OMFG!! THOROUGHLY ENJOYED THIS BOOK!! Kay Gordan is a New Author for me and She Had me Intrigued from the Very Beginning of TWO FOR HOLDING!! Once I started reading, I Could Not Put It in Down and devour it in ONE Sitting!! It’s captivating from the Very start and keeps you on your toes!! This a book number 4 in the 425 Madison Series with Other Amazing Authors!!
Throw in a single Mom Savannah with a 5yr old young boy Logan and a Big Hockey player Porter with a soft heart. Two For Holding has all the feels in a BOOK that you can ask for plus it will Leave you Speechless and wanna sometimes punch some the characters in the face (that’s putting mildly). It was Beautifully Written plus an Emotional distress of Epic proportions which had crying like baby.
Definitely Must Read Book and another reading fan for life of KAY GORDAN!!
When her young son’s love of hockey brings them into his life, Porter can’t help but want to keep them there. The moment his eyes landed on them, on the other side of the glass, he was instantly drawn to them. The excitement beaming on the young boys face, and Savannah’s demure presence draws him in like a moth to a flame. It was the strangest thing, never had a woman had this effect on him, one chance meeting and now she is all that he can think about, and the more he craves to see her again. He knows he should to listen to his manager ‘s advice, and run for the hills when it comes to single moms, but for the first time in his life he is going to do the complete opposite.
He knows convincing her to take a chance on them is going to be a challenge, since she seemed wary of his intentions right off the bat. And he knows the world he lives in makes it hard to maintain a relationship, but it’s the only thing he wants… and he doesn’t like to lose!
Two For Holding is a heartwarming tale that will put a squeeze on your heart and leave a smile on your face. Between the perfectly crafted story line, emotionally charged words, and charming characters you just can’t go wrong with this one. I loved this newest addition the series, barely a chapter into it I knew it was going to lead me to a happy heart, and boy was I right! Highly recommend you get your hands on this one, it’s words are captivating and it’s characters are certain to steal your heart!
I requested an advanced copy of this title from the publisher, and I am voluntarily leaving my honest opinion.
Savannah was thrilled that a patient had given her tickets to the Titans hockey game. They were her son’s favorite team and Porter Harrison was his absolute favorite player. When Porter spots her son in the crowd and throws him a puck, she is overjoyed. When they run into each other a few days later, it feels like fate. Can a single mom trust in love and get used to being in the spotlight with a hockey star?
The 425 Madison series is awesome and Two for Holding was simply amazing! I loved how Savannah and Porter meet. Porter is a really good guy and he is head over heels for Savannah right from the get go. Savannah didn’t think he could be interested in dating a single mom but he quickly shows her how much he wants her in his life. I had not read any books by Kay Gordon before and I have to say, I will be following her from now on. These characters are so real from the first page that I couldn’t help but love them and want them to be together. Even Savannah’s son is so genuine and Porter shows how much he cares for the boy in his own right. I consumed this book in one sitting and was quite sad to say goodbye to them. 5 stars for Savannah and Porter!
