Funny cozy murder mystery with the most lovable cat in the most proper English setting!
Another totally fun and witty adventure with the Oxford Tea Room cast of characters. I didn’t see the murderer coming in this one, and I felt like Hanna wove a great tale from beginning to end. This is one of my favorite audiobook series, so if you’re thinking about trying out cozy mysteries, you should definitely give these a try! I think I blazed through this one in only a couple of days. It was highly addictive.
These books are a whole lot of fun! It took me a while to warm to Gemma in the previous books. I felt she was rather immature. But in Two Down, Bun to Go she shows she’s not only a loyal friend but truly compassionate and down to earth. This particular story has a lot of interesting characters and really takes advantage of and showcases the Oxford setting.
I’m listening to the series. Narrator Pearl Hewitt does a marvelous job.
A fun and thoroughly enjoyable cozy
This series of books is very good with interesting main characters. Easy to picture what is going on in the book. This is a cozy mystery series. It’s good for all ages.
I always reading Hanna’s books
Mystery as well as an enjoyable read. Have read all of her books in this series, just waiting for her newest book to hit the shelves soon!
I love this author and her characters in this series. We love to listen to her stories when we travel.
Very likeable cozy mystery where the writing doesn’t seem directed to the maturity of a fifteen year old. I’m planning on reading the entire series.
I love this series! I can’t wait for the next book!
This outstanding downright entertaining book started out with a bang and never let up. Then comes the climax, which was out-of-this-world intense. I actually found myself holding my breath as I was reading. Hsin-Yi kept the thrill going throughout this marvelous Oxford Tearoom Mystery with her magnificent 3-D characters all working to solve the murder. The depth of each book keeps growing which I find exceptional as most series start to die off after the first book. Not Ms. Hanna’s books, they keep getting better and better. I hated to put this story down to do the everyday stuff like eating and sleeping which one has to do.
I love, love, loved this book and recommend it to everyone who enjoys a fast paced sit-on-the-edge-of-your-seat cozy mystery and everything British. It is best to read the Oxford Tearoom Mysteries in the order they are written as the wonderful characters keep evolving more and more as they decipher each murder mystery.
I want to thank H. Y. Hanna for allowing me to read and assist her in proofing an ARC copy of this most impressive story.

H.Y. Hanna’s Oxford Tearoom Mystery series is my absolute all-time favorite…top spot bunches all the books in a delicious tie! Once again in this ‘page turner’ H.Y. Hanna provides a clever, engaging mystery weaving altruism, alcoholism, and plight of the homeless, as well as sibling and colleague rivalries. The characters are well-developed (some very colorful) showing intriguing developments addressing rekindling of long-lost relationships, possible romantic triangles, imposing on one’s ethics, connections between generations, and ties with close friendships that have invested me in this series…like following a family. The descriptions provided paint a marvelous picture of the Oxford area, the Universities, the little tearoom, and the intricacies of the characters and their thoughts and feelings. She developed suspenseful or tense situations that often, because of my engagement, have made me oblivious to things around me. Common reactions included “Oh!”… “No…No…No!”… “Whew!”… “Bloody Hell!”…, or relating the story to friends and family, “You’ve got to read/listen to this!”
Enjoyable cozy mystery. The old biddies are a hoot!
