Noni has reached out to Denver, the only person she believes can help her find her deceased foster sister’s daughter Talia. What Noni doesn’t know is that she just stepped into a warzone of epic proportions.
Denver, the quietest of the 3 Blood Brothers, has been at the bottom of a bottle since he left Noni a year ago “for her own good and safety.” Meanwhile, he has sat back and watched his brothers all find love and happiness. Well, almost happiness…they still need to put an end to Sheriff Cobb and Dr. Madison. That’s not going to be easy when Noni has posted pictures of her and Denver all over the internet.
The characters were great, but Denver has a big ole place in my heart. That poor man has been carrying so much guilt, he needs to find his happy. That is where Noni and Talia come in. Swoon. Big dangerous killing machine holding a baby… ovaries explode! All the characters had pivotal roles in this book and as we progress into the story, we see how truly messed up the Sheriff and Doctor really are.
I enjoyed the twists, the turns, the secret reveals, and the brotherhood. What I felt I missed was sufficient payback/revenge. Yep, I am that twisted reader that wanted….no needed, more revenge. I needed a John Wick style revenge, you know twisted pain and stuff, I wanted the people that had hurt these three boys to suffer immensely….. Not saying there wasn’t justice…just not enough justice for my dark depraved and twisted heart.
This was a great romantic suspense and as the secrets were revealed, I was on edge. This series had the right amount of romance with intrigue. I enjoyed this book/series and would recommend it to any romantic suspense lover!
What an ending to a fantastic series. Loved it!
The final book of the Blood Brothers series was as explosive as the two before it. Ms. Zanetti wrapped up all the loose ends , as well. Action and suspense packed, though a bit more open door romance than I prefer. A really good read.
Twisted Truths Revealed
The final book in this compelling trilogy of three “blood” brothers finally comes to a conclusionDenver met Noni when he went to work on an assignment where she lived but while they dated, he knew there couldn’t be more because of his past. But when she splashes his picture all over the Internet looking for him and his help…things heat up and quickly
This was an action packed story with great characters and some really suspenseful moments which had me on the edge of my seat
This book brings a close to an excellent series. The characters are unforgettable, complex, and easy to root for.
Bought and read the series, excellent!
I really enjoyed this series a lot. I only wish I would have started with the Sin Brothers series instead of this one, but I already have the first book of that series waiting for me from the library. As much as I loved this series and was able to easily follow the stories, I don’t think it’s necessary to read the Sin Brothers books before reading the Blood Brothers books. But, I would strongly suggest you read Deadly Silence and Lethal Lies before reading this story. You would miss out on so many connections between the brothers if you don’t.
Speaking of the brothers, I was a bit sad that we didn’t see or even hear much from Ryker and Heath in the first half of this book. The reason they were MIA (in a sense) totally makes sense for this story, but I still missed them. One of the best things about these stories is the connection the brothers have with one another. I was also afraid Denver wasn’t going to use his “abilities”, that was something I thought was lacking in the last story. But as the story progressed he tapped into his “otherness” a bit more.
I’m so happy that Noni is everything Denver built her up to be in his mind. Smart, sexy, fiercely loyal, caring, intuitive, tenacious. The perfect other half for Denver. The only thing that would sometimes annoy me about her was she was a bit too stubborn. I’m a mom, I get the protective instinct when it comes to your baby. Yet Noni herself admitted she couldn’t actually do anything in some of the situations she and Denver went into. Still, she wouldn’t let Denver leave her behind in safety. Ugh! Later, it seems she starts to see how staying out of the way makes more sense. Thankfully.
Again, the connections these brothers have really make this series for me. Bonus: in this one there was barely a blip of a timeline issue and I probably only noticed it because my brain was leery after having such issues in the other books. Plus, getting bits and pieces of the Gray brothers was like a tease for what I have to come when I go back and read the Sin Brothers series. Sure, I’ll kind of know how their stories play out. But I have high hopes that I’m going to enjoy reading their journeys. I’m extremely glad I took another author’s recommendation and tried this author out.

One of my all time favorites!
I loved the ending of this series, but then I have read all her books and she just le@ves me excited for the next one..
Enjoyed this book. Have read the others in this series.
3.75 stars-TWISTED TRUTHS is the third and final instalment in Rebecca Zanetti’s contemporary, adult BLOOD BROTHERS slightly paranormal, romantic suspense trilogy focusing on three blood brothers-Heath, Ryker and Denver Jones- who own and operate The Lost Bastards Investigative Agency. This is Denver Jones, and Noni Yuka’s story line. TWISTED TRUTHS can be read as a stand alone but I recommend reading the series, in order, for cohesion and backstory as there is an on going and connected premise throughout. The BLOOD BROTHERS is a spin off from the author’s SIN BROTHERS SERIES. Several character cross-over for familiarity.
SOME BACKGROUND: Years earlier Dr. Isobel Madison aka Sylvia Daniels, and a covert government agency used experimental DNA to make the perfect super soldier-a genetically enhanced warrior. The continuing trope ventures into another direction as another ‘family of brothers’ is brought into the fold. All of the brothers are ‘created’ in one way or another; they are experiments of Dr. Isobel Madison-a woman who is determined to destroy that which she made by making a stronger, more viable soldier. On the run, these super soldiers and their blood brothers, stay one step ahead of Dr. Madison, and Sheriff Elton Cobb, Madison’s lover and the man seeking revenge for the death of his brother.
Told from several third person perspectives including Noni and Denver, TWISTED TRUTHS focuses on the rekindling romance between super solider and private investigator Denver Jones, and home-business entrepreneur Noni Yuka. One-year earlier Denver was working in Alaska where he met our story line heroine but when his assignment was over Denver walked away in the middle of the night, never saying good-bye to the woman he loved. Fast forward to present day wherein Noni’s three month old god-daughter has been abducted by a drug running MC, in the hopes of selling the child to the highest bidder. Desperate and no where to turn Noni begins an internet search for the man she once loved only to unintentionally reveal his whereabouts to the people back home. What ensues is the rekindling romance between Noni and Denver as they begin a search for Noni’s missing three-month old godchild while trying to stay one step ahead of Dr. Madison and Sheriff Elton Cobb.
The relationship between Noni and Denver is one of second chances but we know very little about, and are given limited access to their prior affair. I struggled with Noni’s demands to be ever-present when danger is near-there are a few ‘too stupid to live’ (TSTL) moments that are cringe worthy and questionable. Noni needs closure but reconnecting with Denver opens old wounds for our leading couple including Denver’s belief he is incapable of love. The $ex scenes are intimate and intense without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.
TWISTED TRUTHS is a story of adventure; a journey of suspense, action, friendship and family. No man is left behind; the brothers, related or not, stand behind and together in an effort to take down the man and the woman who destroyed all of their lives. The premise is engaging but faltered with a presentation and story line that felt repetitious-almost déjà vu in a sense that we have read it several times before. The romance is hot and seductive; the characters familiar and energetic. TWISTED TRUTHS is the final instalment in this particular trope of the author’s BLOOD BROTHERS and SIN BROTHERS series. We had previously been introduced to other genetically modified children, potential brothers and young soldiers-I am hoping the author is prepared to reveal their stories as well.
Noni makes her own lotions and candles and sells them. Her foster sister dies and she gets the baby but the father, a gang member, kidnaps the baby. Denver is a genetic super soldier and owns a business with his brothers. They are hunted by a doctor who created them and sheriff who wants them dead. Noni posts Denver’s picture all over the internet looking for him and the doctor and sheriff finds them too. Denver is the silent type and likes to study people. He fell in love with Noni but left her to keep her safe. Now that there is a baby missing, he’ll do anything to find her and keep her and his brothers safe. This book was awesome. I couldn’t put it down. It will keep you in suspense until the very end. Lots of action, sex, and secrets that’ll keep you on the edge of your seat. I know this is short but I didn’t want to give too much away. This is the last book in the series. * voluntarily reviewed this for netgalley *
Twisted Truths by Rebecca Zanetti is about a woman, Noni who is desperately in need of a savior. That savior comes in the form of someone she never thought she would see again. Sometimes when you are faced with a tough situation, you have to fight to make sure that the outcome is in your favor.
Noni has recently become the guardian of her three-month-old niece, after her foster sister passed. Her life has shifted and while she may not know what she is doing she wouldn’t change things. When the baby’s drug addict of a father kidnaps her Noni is enraged. She needs to find and rescue her niece before something terrible happens. But to do so, she must reach into her past to contact Denver. There will be a lot of open wounds to address, but her niece is worth it.
Denver Jones left Noni over a year ago to protect her. He has spent all this time thinking about her. He never stopped loving her even though they were apart. When he realizes that she is looking for him, he worries that the trouble he was protecting her from when he left found her anyway. When he finds out about her situation, he is ready to assist her in any way that he can. However, being this close to her makes it hard to fight against his feelings for her. He must assist her with finding her niece and protect her along the way, all while trying to resist her.
I enjoyed this novel. This is a part of a trilogy, so you should consider reading the whole series. The relationship between Noni and Denver was extremely hot and the suspense kept my attention. Denver and Noni were in constant danger. Even when they were exploring their relationship and feelings for each other, there just wasn’t a time to settle. Action packed suspense and undeniable attraction fill the pages of this book. I give it four stars.
There is danger and thrills galore in the final Blood Brothers book and that’s not to mention the turbulent romance.
Denver is confronted with the past when Noni a past romantic interest brings attention to their connection and puts herself in the cross hairs of the brothers’ enemies. Denver and Noni are strong, well defined characters that reach and grab readers by the heart strings as they battle with lots of emotional turmoil and dangerous encounters with some pretty nasty characters from both of their pasts. The romance is fiery hot with lots of passion and conflict which had me rallying behind the characters as they struggled to find a happy ending to their troubles.
Noni needs help with a daring task that makes her a target for some dangerous gang members and Denver, along with his blood brothers are still trying to stop the evil doctor that totally screwed with their lives. Noni and Denver’s life become one thrilling adventure as readers become caught up in their story when one hazardous and adrenaline pumping conflict after another keeps the characters on the run.
This fast paced and electrifying conclusion is chock full of hot and hunky men as the brothers are joined by the brothers from the Sin Brothers series as they come together to try to end the vile doctor and the despicable sheriff’s reign of terror. There was definitely not way for me put this story down as I was enthralled with the danger and the gravity to their situation from beginning to end.
The Sin Brothers is a favorite series of mine and now the Blood Brothers has become equally as loved and while I hate to see it end, I am quite pleased with the ending. I can’t wait to find out what Rebecca Zanetti has in store for us next.
