Gah!! What else can I say about one of the best books I have ever read? Cora Reilly absolutely killed it with Remo Falcone’s book as the Devil we have all waited for finally met the Angel who brought him to his knees. And what a woman she was! Serafina was absolutely magnificent. She was proud, brave and sassy and the strongest woman to go head to head with the Cruelest Man of the West. I absolutely loved them together and could not put this down!
Twisted Pride is the third book in the Camorra Chronicles. It can be read as a standalone but why would you when you would be doing yourself a disservice by not experiencing Fabi and Nino’s books firsthand. When the highly feared and notorious Capo of the Camorra, Remo Falcone decides to kidnap Serafina, the niece of the Boss of the Outfit on her wedding day, he has no idea of the long-term ramifications of his actions.
Ahhhhh!! At this point, my obsession with Remo is almost embarrassing!! But alas he earned my respect after reading Twisted Emotions but he won my love, adoration and obsession after being in his head in Twisted Pride. There was always more to this man than the surface rage and anger he broadcasted to the world. And boy did he show us his true colors in this book. He was the epitome of the walking wounded. A man with a great many scars and demons from his past that he refused to bury. But I loved how Serafina freed him from the anger and hopelessness in his past and allowed him the opportunity to look forward and grasp his future with two hands. I swear I love this book so much. The chemistry, banter and fiery connection aside, this is the BEST book Reilly has written to date. It is a lovestory of the ages meant to be savored and re-read again and again. Bravo!! 5 stars! ~Ratula
I absolutely loved this book. Cora delivered on Remo Falcone, who she introduced in the first book in this series.
Remo is a hard man, who has lived a hard life. He makes no excuses and refuses to hide for who or what he is.
I had wondered as I read the other books how or if he’d change with his book. He did not. The man we were met in Twisted Loyalties was the same man we meet in Twisted Pride
Serafina, a sheltered mob princess, is perfect for match for Remo.
Rarely do I finish a book and I immediately want to re-read it again. I did this time, but I’m not doing it. Instead, I’ve decided to go back to the very first book, Bound by Honor in this wonderful world Cora has created.
Cora Reilly does mafia romance like no other.
I stumbled across her Mafia Chronicles a few years ago, and thus began my obsession with the mafia romance genre. She’s set the standard VERY high for me when it comes to these types of books, every one that I read is compared to her words.
Twisted Pride was nothing short of amazing. Remo and Serafina’s story is so addictive, drawing you in from the very first page to the last. I devoured this book, finished it within hours of starting it..only to be left in a “book slump” because of the book-hangover Ms Reilly left me with. It’s taken me a week to come up with the words to express how much I loved this book, and even then – I feel like I’m not doing this story justice.
I easily became infatuated with Luca and Aria (Mafia Chronicles). And Ive just as easily become obsessed with Remo and Serafina.
Cora Reilly is one of those authors that I will automatically buy – no matter what the story is about. I don’t even need a blurb. She never disappoints. I absolutely recommend her books, and I HIGHLY recommend Twisted Pride. It’s become one of my favorite books by her, a story that will leave you longing for so much more.
5 STARS
This book is highly charged and will stimulate the senses. You’ll fall in love with the angel and her monster…I sure did!!!
Twisted Pride is the third book in The Camorra Chronicles, but may be read as a standalone. This book is the epitome of enemies to lover, which is a trope that I absolutely love. Remo Falcone is the Capo of the Camorra and he kidnaps Serafina Mione, the niece to the Outfit Boss on her wedding day in his plan for retribution. All know that a wedding is sacred but for the Camorra, this is what they say.
“We are the Camorra. We have our own set of rules, our own idea of honor.”
I absolutely loved the strength within Serafina and the way she conducts herself in spite of the situation she is in. Although, she has been brought up to follow all the rules of a daughter of the Outfit, where she is kept innocent; while facing her captors she finds her backbone and remains defiant to protect herself and the ones she loves.
“And I swore to myself that no matter the price, no matter what it would cost me, one day I would be the one to bring Remo Falcone to his knees, the one to break the cruelest man I knew.”
Remo is … *ugh, there are no words that can express what I feel for Remo. You just have to read this book and discover him for yourself. He is a Fallen Angel, or even the Devil himself who has fallen to his knees for his own personal Angel. He recognizes what he is to Serafina.
“You are an angel, and I’m your ruin.”
Twisted Pride is an EPIC read that will take you on a rollercoaster ride of emotions. I’d like to thank the author and The Next Step PR for generously providing me an ARC in exchange for an honest review. Twisted Pride, Book 3 in The Camorra Chronicles by Cora Reilly will join the ranks of BIBLIO-ARISTOCRACY!!!
Remo Falcone is not a man to be messed with. When the Outfit does just that, he promises retaliation. He is a man that is merciless, cold and determined. He protects those he cares about and will do anything to protect them. Sarafina’s hand in marriage has been promised for a long time. Though she is dutiful and respectful of the expectations set in front of her, she was such a strong and determined woman. When she is kidnapped by Remo, though she knows he is dangerous, the attraction they feel for each other is undeniable.
Twisted Pride by Cora Reilly was one wild and crazy ride. Sarafina challenged Remo at every turn and that only served to infuriate and fascinate him at every turn. This story was full chemistry, angst and twists. Remo and Sarafina are amazing characters and their story will captivate you from the start.
Read and reviewed for Reviews From the Heart.
Happy reading.
This is the book we have all been waiting for, which is Remo’s book and boy was it a thrilling ride.
The author had me hooked from the very first page. I love how confident Serafina was the whole time and she for the most part stood her ground well and did great going toe to toe with Remo. I liked that you finally got to see some backstory to Remo, which really helps you understand why he is the way he is.
I love the chemistry between Remo & Serafina throughout the book. The story flowed well and I really hope this isn’t the last we see of these two. The Falcone family is a force to be reckoned with and I can’t wait to see what’s next.
5-Twisted-Stars
Cora mentioned in her Facebook group, that this was her best-written book to date. Well, she wasn’t lying.
This series just seems to get better and better with each book that is released.
Saying I loved this book is not enough. So whatever is more than Love, but yet not quite I’m-Sending-Out-Save-The-Dates-And-Marrying-A-Paperback stage, is where I am with this book.
I was in fictional LUST with Nino’s story in Twisted Emotions, I thought about that book for WEEKS after reading it! I honestly did NOT think I would enjoy Remo’s story as much as Nino’s.
I know, I never should have doubted Cora.
It’s just Twisted Emotions was on such a high pedestal to me, then here comes Mr. Remo Falcone in all of his TWISTED GLORY and bulldozing that single seated pedestal, only to replace it with a two-seater for him and my Nino.
Serafina shocked the crap out of me with her total badassness. The ice-princess has a spine of steel and a sharp tongue. Cora wrote the PERFECT heroine for this story.
I loved Serafina and Remo’s interactions throughout the book. There were quite a few scenes that had me busting a gut laughing at their antics.
Remo was more than I could have imagined with his twisted mind. There was just so much more to him than what we’ve already seen in previous books. Cora could not have written his story any better than what we were given.
Twisted Pride was packed in chemistry, action, angst, humour and most of all loyalty.
Cora showed us so many different sides to her characters in this book. We got to see EVERYONE in a different light/setting and I swear I fell more in love with those Falcone brothers because of it. Serafina and Remo’s story was EXPLOSIVE. From beginning to end, I was so engrossed in their story. I cannot wait for the next book (3.5 Nino & Kiara).
GODS ABOVE… Cora did not disappoint with yet another freaking amazing book.. the story of Remo and Serafina was just so amazing and so much more that what I was expecting.. the story just sucked me in and I couldn’t stop flipping the pages.
I though that ‘Bound by Love’ was Cora’s best written book and I didn’t think that she could top that up but she proved me wrong ‘Twisted Pride’ was so much more drama, more action. I mind was spinning out of control throughout the whole book. Having Remo set Serafina free broke my heart, but finding out that not only did Remo own Fina, but he gave her the most amazing gift ever, also he gave it to himself and the rest of his family.
Unfortunately I did not get to see Luca and Aria at all just mentions of the New York Famiglia. However, I have faith in my favourite and beautiful author, Cora that I will get to see Luca and Aria in the future books and get to see the other characters too..I cannot wait to find out what happens in the next novels that Cora has coming up for us… we should be prepared to be amazed by the very talented Cora Reilly.
Congratulations to Cora Reilly for making such an amazing and inspiring yet another book, and making us get addicted to yet another novel and series written by you..
I received this book as an ARC and voluntarily leave my honest reviewed.Cora Reilly Cora Reilly Cora Reilly Cora Reilly Twisted Pride Cora Reilly
I can read Cora Reilly’s Mafia Romance all my life and never get bored. Twisted Pride is another amazing addition to the list. It has everything you can expect from a Cora Reilly creation. An antihero in all his cruel, raw and dominant glory. A woman from the mafia life but different in her strength and beauty. The story played tricks with my own mind. And Cora Reilly’s writing is absolutely brilliant.
Remo Falcone’s character terrified me and attracted me at the same time when I read the previous books. Capo of the Camorra in Las Vegas, he is the most ruthless, cold, calculating and merciless person you can imagine. But even that doesn’t scratch the surface of this complex character. He has his own codes and morals. They may be questionable but I really couldn’t hate him. He broke Serafina and ruined her. But he also gave her freedom to be herself. Serafina’s character was pretty well balanced. She had softness in right parts and resilience in other areas. The story line was making me dizzy and breathless from all the dramatic turns. The mafia world is Cora’s home turf and she hit the ball right out of the park.
The beginning, evolution and ending of Remo and Serafina’s relationship is beyond complicated. Love meets hate. Lust meets emotions. Family meets betrayal. Enemies meet trust. The surprises never stopped coming. It was insanely intense. My heart broke so many times. Cora Reilly stretched my limits and made me feel everything. Twisted Pride is the definition of raw , gritty and dark romance.
Received ARC for Honest Review
Cora Reilly’s highly anticipated third installment in the Camorra Chronicles is a jaw-dropping, mind-blowing and awe-inspiring emotional rollercoaster you soon won’t forget. It will ruin you for all other Mafia books. Mark my words! Cora’s ability to write cruel bad boys with a heart is hands down unsurpassed. This story is fast paced and has a well-developed, character-driven plot full of angsty twists and turns you didn’t see coming. Enemies to lovers is one of my absolute favorite romace tropes, especially if there is a forbidden aspect – as in this particular case the bitter feud between two opposing Mafia clans.
Remo Falcone is ruling over Las Vegas with an iron fist. When the Outfit breaches his territory and attacts him and his brothers he promises retaliation. The opportunity for payback arises when he kidnaps Dante Cavallaro’s niece Serafina on her wedding day. She is supposed to marry a high-ranked Outfit member and become an obedient wife and caring mother. Females like her are supposed to enter marriage pure and chaste. What better way to hurt Dante and the Outfit than breaking the one innocent person they were supposed to protect? But Remo will soon realise that Serafina is not an easy prey. She is smart and very perceptive and not easily intimidated by his threats and mind games. Both didn’t expect to feel this unexplicable strong pull towards each other fueled by irresistable need and voracious longing. Will Remo still stick to his plan or is this beautiful blonde angel going to be the one to bring him to his knees? Who is going to be the winner in this twisted game of chess? Is a victory without any sacrifices even possible?
Remo and Serafina are two very complex, multi-facetted and intriguing characters who will make you fall madly and irrevocably in love with their gripping and captivating story. They are without a doubt the most compelling characters Cora has ever written. There is so much more to these two than meets the eye. With every new layer of their personalities being revealed I felt a deeper emotional connection to them.
Remo is a cold, ruthless man who doesn’t show any mercy to his enemies and enjoys making them suffer. He is a brutally handsome monster. But there is this soft side to him when it comes to his brothers and the people he considers family. For them Remo would walk through fire and sacrifice himself without a second thought. If you want to gain his respect you have to show strength and loyalty. He is not a man everybody can easily understand because you can’t put him into one category.
Serafina is the Outfit’s Iceprincess. Proud, poised and controlled on the outside but playful and kind-hearted on the inside. Fina is strong-willed and courageous. She could easily be Capo if women were allowed this role in the Mafia. I can say with absolutely certainty that she is one of the strongest female leads I’ve ever come across in a book. I admire Serafina for refusing to be a victim of the Made Men’s power plays. I adored her relationship with her caring, loving parents and siblings, especially her twin brother Samuel. These two share a special bond only few people can understand. They would die to protect each other.
There was an instant, undeniable physical attraction between the hero and heroine that both tried to fight with great effort. But when they slowly started to get to know one another better and discover each other’s strengths and weaknesses they couldn’t prevent feelings to develop. As unwanted as they were, resisting each other was a fruitless venture from the first moment they met.
The message of this story is that something good can be born from an act of brutality and that love can bloom even in the darkest place. As an avid reader I’m always on the quest to find such books that stand out from the rest. The ones that will stay with you forever. Now how am I supposed to move on after this epic read?! I see a major book hangover coming. Thank you dear Cora from the bottom of my heart for giving us the most perfect unconventional love story. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed being ruined by Remo Falcone and give this amazing book 5+++ stars!
10 Fallen Angel stars
Let me start off by saying, that no matter what I write, it’s not enough, this book, my Remo’s book is my favorite to date.
Twisted Pride is the 3rd installment of The Camorra Chronicles, and my goodness let me say, this book is everything.. it’s just perfect… This is a spectacular enemies to lovers read, that’s sexy as hell.
Remo Falcone rules Las Vegas, the the Outfits attacked in the previous book he made a vow to bring down Dante Cavallaro to his knees and in this book well… You’ll have to read the book to know if he bows down.. Remo’s revenge plot to kidnap Serafina works like a charm, but something he didn’t plan for happeneds and watching Remo’s cruel black heart being captured is the most beautiful thing of all. If you’ve read my previous reviews you’ll know my fixation on Remo. I love his darkness, the way he protects those he loves, his family..
“It’s us against the world,”
After devouring Twisted Pride from the amazingly talented Cora Reilly, I can tell you without a doubt, that this book is the best she’s ever written! 5 stars are simply not enough to rate it. It deserves 10!!!! If you think that you are prepared for what’s waiting for you, then please let me laugh at you maniacally for a second. Because you sure as hell are not! I strongly suggest to keep tissues and booze ready, because this book will tear your heart into shreds!!! But don’t panic! Queen Cora will put it back together. I guarantee you that she gave Serafina and Remo the story they deserved!
Serafina is getting ready to marry Danilo, the young Underboss of Indianapolis. Their marriage is meant to strengthen the connection between the Mione and Mancini family. While her twin brother Samuel became a Made Men and had the freedom to do what he wanted, she had to maintain her reputation as the pure and proper Ice Princess. After all, her role in the Mafia world has already been planed out. But before she can say yes, she gets kidnapped on her wedding day by Remo Falcone and his men.
After the Outfit breached Camorra’s territory and attacked them, Remo is out for retribution. Being known for his impulsive decisions and unpredictable behavior, he decides to strike the Outfit by kidnapping Dante Cavallaro’s niece and make her pay for their sins. Despite her futile situation, Serafina clings to her pride and refuses to show fear and bow. Much to the mispleasure of Remo who wants nothing more than to break her and destroy the Outfit.
“Don’t you think that submitting to my will would make things less painful for you?”
“Yes…But I’d rather take pain than submit to your will, Remo.”
Remo starts a dangerous game with Serafina, but soon realizes that he totally underestimated her. This beautiful blonde Angel with soulful blue eyes will surprise Remo in more ways than one, making him question his actions and most of all his feelings. Sacrifices will be made and loyalties will be tested… Until only one question remains: Can love be found in the darkest of places?
Remo Falcone is such a complex character. I wasn’t always a fan of him. He intrigued and scared me at equal measure. I enjoyed discovering every facet of his twisted and dark personality. In everybody’s eyes Remo is beyond redemption. But his brothers and those close to him know that he is loyal to the bone and would bleed and die for the people he cares about. Now that I know his whole story and met a gentle side of him, I stood no chance. I fell in love with him beyond any reason. Sorry Luca Vitiello, but I have a new favorite hero from Cora Reilly!
Serafina Mione is the strongest female character I ever came across in this book world. She isn’t only beautiful, but brave and strong willed. Her loving relationship with her family and especially her twin brother, made me smile big. This is why it really hurt to see her being torn between the Camorra and the Outfit. What will forever make me adore her is her capacity to see beyond things. It takes a lot of strength and courage to love a man like Remo, who carries so much darkness inside of him!
I’ve never been more crazy about two characters from Cora Reilly like Remo and Serafina. These two were dynamite together! What started as hate soon turned into fatal attraction both were unable to deny. Serafina knows that giving in to Remo will make her a traitor to the Outfit and her family, who are desperately trying to safe her. But with every day her resolve to resist crumbles until she finally gives in and experiences pleasure and pain she’s never had before.
Twisted Pride almost cost me my sanity!!! The level of angst was huge. Some parts of the story were not for the faint-hearted. They were brutal and harsh, just as the Mafia world is. But there were also so many beautiful and touching moments between siblings, lovers and family, it made me swoon hard.
Now how the hell am I supposed to move on from the biggest book hangover ever?! Guess I’ll keep re-reading Twisted Pride a couple of times until I’m ready to let Remo and Serafina go. Though I doubt I will ever be able to do that. I’m putting this book of epic proportions on my most favorite reads shelf of 2019 and bow to Cora Reilly for writing such a fabulous story and surpassing all of my expectations.
I have lost count of the books which I have read that have been written by Cora Reilly. I remember stumbling upon “Bound By Honor” when I had recently started venturing in to the new adult genre. I found her books to be a perfect blend of angst and romance, second chances and sassy heroines making the bad boys get on their knees.
Twisted Pride has everything that a Cora Reilly book should have. I couldn’t put the book down.
As always, I’d start off with the positives:
The book stands by its name, two people who take pride in who they are, their strengths, their weaknesses, their rounded personalities and their sharp edges, their banter and their confessions are brought together by fate, or kidnapping in this case.
A haughty mafia princess and an emotionally unstable Capo try to break the other without realizing that in doing so, they are actually breaking the walls they have constructed around their own hearts.
The book sort of reminded me of Pride and Prejudice in a very loose, very otherworldly sense.
Fina, as I like to call her now, is an Ice Princess, restrained and proper, doing what she’s told to do and accepting things as they are but deep down, she’s not that proper and she’s cold, but wait till you threaten the ones she loves, she’d go to hell and back to protect the ones she loves.
Remo on the other hand, is a ball of unbridled emotions, raw and tough, “you get what you see” sort, heartless or so it seems, but he too, will go through every hardship, every torture to protect and safeguard those who are close to his heart. Now what happens when they both come face to face?
The book was well written, the twists and turns placed at the right spots. Some scenes pulled at my heartstrings, some made me laugh out loud, like when Fina tells Remo that she’s sorry that she wasted the pumpkin soup but “I’m not sorry for throwing it at your brother. I’m sorry I missed though. You can tell him that”. Poor Savio.
Similarly, I simply love when *spoiler* the heroine gets pregnant and for the longest time since Cora had hinted at Remo’s book, I wanted him to end up being a dad. I wanted him to get Fina pregnant and Lo and Behold! It happens and it’s double the treat ;).*spoiler*
The only thing or things that I didn’t like about the book, were, well I wanted Remo to grovel a bit more (but at the same time I know he did, he wanted to play it fair, he wanted to win Fina’s heart on her own terms) but still I wanted him to show it a bit more. But again, I understand Remo’s mindset and he did grovel and sulk in his own way.
The other thing is something that’s just a personal preference and I’m putting a spoiler tag cuz I don’t wanna ruin anything for other readers, *spoiler* I can’t stomach anal sex, no matter how it’s written or why, I just can’t. I was actually glad that Remo gave up on it in the end . But yeah, that doesn’t take away from the story, it’s just, it makes me queasy. *spoiler*
All in all, the book wasn’t what I was expecting, it was the best of the three Camorra books, and I loved Twisted Emotions so much that I didn’t think any other book could top it, but here, I stand corrected.
I’d like to thank Cora Reilly and her team for being so amazing and trusting so as to send me the ARC for “Twisted Pride”. It was a treat to read and review this book.
“Hardly anything worth having can be gained without loss and pain and sacrifice.”
I’ve been waiting for Remo’s book with bated breath. During the reading I was holding it throughout. And now I can finally breathe and shout out to the whole world that every reader needs this book in his life! Cora Reilly outdone herself by writing Remo and Serafina’s story. Because along with the kidnapping driven by pure hatred and revenge, the king gained the queen. But as in the chess game, the player is at risk of loss. Because the queen is the strongest chess piece, it’s usually a big loss to replace her with another opponent’s pawn…
Remo Falcone’s plan was simple- kidnap beloved niece of Boss of the Outfit on her wedding day, break her and use as a bargaining chip to achieve his goal. But Serafina, despite her sheltered life, turned out to be a very proud woman and a worthy opponent for the ruthless and cruel Capo of the Camorra. In spite of fear and hopelessness, she didn’t bend to his will and she vowed that she’d bring him to his knees. Can be there a winner in the play where all’s fair? Will they both manage to get out of this endgame unscarred?
Only Cora Reilly is able to create mafia perfection that captivates me completely. I always keep an open mind when it comes to heroes, but when I met Remo for the first time I was a bit worried. However, Cora made the most twisted guy loveable. Loyal to the bone, protecting his loved ones to death. His madness and unpredictability made him probably the most intense hero I’ve ever dealt with. I’ve never been able to guess what his next move will be. Serafina on the other hand is strong and fierce. Although she was born as a mafia princess, whose life was meant to focus solely on being a good wife and mother, she turned out to be a queen who will not succumb to anything nor anyone. And only such a woman is able to stand proudly by notorious Remo Falcone’s side.
Twisted Pride is a unique and captivating story that exceeded all my expectations. Cora Reilly is a master in the mafia romances and has no equal when it comes to this genre.
5 stars is definitely not enough to rate this masterpiece!
Watching Remo fall was the best part of this book. In the past, we have come to know him as the no nonsense, brothers only, take no prisoners type of person. He doesn’t care about anyone but his family and all the outsiders know it.
Serafina is a fun, outgoing person. She may be an Ice Queen to everyone else, but she was raised to be herself at home. This strong, determined personality is what flips Remo upside down. He isn’t use to women taking the hard road, and he doesn’t know what to do about it. This allows him to become more aware of why Nino and Fabiano fought tooth and nail for their women.
The raw, emotional journey these two take for the HEA isn’t easy. They both work for everything they have, but sometimes stubbornness can get in the way of happiness.
I loved getting to know more about the brothers in this book. Savior and Adamo are still growing and their stories are becoming more mysterious. I cannot wait to see how their stories unfold!
– An Arc was generously provided in exchange for an honest review.-
HUMUNGEOUS Book hangover – be extra warned, this book will invade your consciousness, your sub-consciousness, all your waking hours, and your sleeping hours as well! Why you ask? Well, because that happens, ………and then………..it was just wow when………….I mean how could………….So, this won’t be a synopsis review, but trust me when I say, everything you might have been waiting for, will happen. Along with some things you never thought of. But it also leaves some things yet to occur
So how did this book make me feel? Because that is kind of safe to talk about. It made me cry, a lot, a lot a lot. Aching tears, sad tears, frustrated tears, even a few happy tears. I had a couple moments when I laughed at loud, courtesy of Savio. I had moments of deep contentment, mostly courtesy of Nino and Kiara. But everything else, every emotion, putting me through the wringer came at the hands of Remo and Serafina. Together or separate, with each other or their families, they tore at my soul and my emotions could not be kept at bay
This book, in this series, these characters, in these families, well, they come to life, and I experienced everything with them. It is tortured, it is painful, but it is also so beautiful. Remo and Serafina find their peace within, and then see that calm in the other. The chaos is there, and is weaved within that peace that they find together. Heart-breaking, heart-wrenching, and heart-bursting love, and a perfect match for this wild pair!
I can’t put down the damn book. Since the bound series, I was so glad there is another story for these hot made men
Huh Cora is killing me! Each time I start a new book with these different characters in the different mobs I become captivated and they win me and I start rooting for them, but we can’t have all of them win.. Remo does win your heart and I am happy he met someone.. I wont tell you more, but grab a copy as soon as it comes out! You will not be disappointed.”
Rcvd an ARC at no cost to author..Voluntarily reviewed with my own thoughts and opinions.
Wow! Remo and Serafina’s story was more than I thought it would be. I expected a great book, but this story was so much more! I think this is my favorite book by Cora. The book had so much going on. I enjoyed reading about the great characters from the other books, in this book. The plots from the other stories were also woven into this story. I loved how Remo and Serafina had character changes throughout their love story. Great surprises make this a very entertaining read! It has everything: action, drama, love, and steam! I can’t say enough good things about this book. A must read for anyone!
Remo is a brutal leader of the Camorra. Dark and unrelenting, this man’s cruelty and methods of revenge are already legendary among the different Mafia families. When he decides to seek his revenge on the Outfit by kidnapping a virginal bride on the way to her wedding, you can count on this story being as brutal as he is handsome.
This is a dark romance full of power, control, submission, and reluctance. Serafina is not weak and her strength of character will be tested. She is as stubborn as she is beautiful. When she and Remo clash you can only expect a battle for dominance and control. Being a woman does not mean she is not resourceful. Remo never imagined it would be this hard to break her!
This is a dark book. Not for the faint of heart. Yet, it takes a woman like Serafina to grow and succeed in this struggle. Does Remo really have a heart?
I am voluntarily reviewing this book. Thanks to the author for sharing a copy with me.
