OMG….so I got the email that it was available early and of course I had to download the book, I was already too wrapped up in the Royals family to not buy it. I’ve already finished it and let me tell you…it leaves you hanging on until the last pages with suspense trying to figure out who did it. If you haven’t read the first 2 yet, then DO IT! NOW! I’m sad that this is the last of the series, although there will be a side book about Easton so fingers crossed it’s just as good!!
I’ve been binge reading this series as I just can’t seem to get enough; it is so addictive! Whatever you may have read or heard about this series; it’s even better. Once you start, you can’t help but want to keep on reading as so you are eager to know what will happen next. Another wild rollercoaster ride that will leave you guessing until the end and make you feel all emotions! This book was the perfect conclusion to Reed and Ella’s story.
After everything Ella and Reed have been through in their lives, nothing will come close to all that is heading their way now. And when there’s an unexpected return from their past, emotions will run high. Just when they think they have a handle on everything, it will all come crashing down around them but the family wouldn’t be the Royals if they don’t fight for what they believe in. Will they be able to keep the family together?…
If there’s one thing I love about these books is how much of a roller-coaster they are. Fast paced, full of twists and turns and completely stuffed with drama. Total guilty pleasure.
What an awesome ending to this wonderful series! I loved it! The Narrators also did an amazing job on the audiobook!
I can’t even put into words how much I love this series and how sad I am to see the story of Ella and Reed come to an end.
I started reading this book right after I finished the second book. Erin Watt just has that kind of power. She makes plot and characters that you simply can’t get enough of. I think I read all three books in four days.
As much I loved this book, I didn’t enjoy it as much as I did the first two books in the series. That could be thanks to Steve who I came to hate by the end of this book. He made me frustrated every time he made an appearance. I was also frustrated with Ella because she let Steve dictate her life even though he had no part in it until recently. I wanted to scream into the pillow so many times. But in the end everyone got what they deserved.
A twisted read!
They must find a way to beat the law, save their families, and unravel all the secrets in their Twisted Palace…
This book was an absolute treat! It had everything – murder, drama, loss, scandal and some very unexpected surprises. I highly recommend this series to all readers.
Once I started, I knew I couldn’t put this book down – it literally became impossible to do so. The author has a way of writing that pulls you in immediately, making you forget the outside world and securing your attention on the words in front if you.
Full of drama, loss, surprises, scandal, passion, family, friends, enemies, allies and love.
Perfect for readers of contemporary romances.

My god, this book series would make such an incredible Netflix show or film! The drama contained in this series could rival that of a soap opera and come out the top contender. I have fallen so in love with this series.
I have to applaud the author on the construction of the plot in this series. Shit seriously hits the fan in the third book of The Royals series. There are so many shocking things going on that you will get whiplash. The suspense is almost unbearable. I was on the edge of my seat with anticipation and I was consuming every page faster than the last. The plot keeps interest throughout the series and the pacing of the story never lags. The plot twists were surprising and cleverly crafted. I did think that the big reveal at the end of the story happened a little too quickly with almost no recovery time. It all happened in the last 10% of the book and I would have liked it drawn out a bit more. There is no cliffhanger or anything like that, I just would have liked more finality. I suppose there will be more in the last two books of the series, but this book kind of feels like it should be more final since the next two books center on Easton.
I still really love the world-building in this series. This book had a lot of the same, but it doesn’t falter. The world-building was set up well in the first book and each book since has followed in it’s footsteps. I love how I feel like I am right inside this world of wealthy assholes.
The characters are still my favorite thing about this series. The characters are not flawless like they can be in a lot of books. These characters have their issues and their demons. The character growth is really great. Especially for the main characters. I love seeing the changes in them and seeing them at face value. We really get to see inside their souls as they confront their own struggles. The chemistry between the characters has always been incredible so I have to give the authors praise for their writing style. These are the types of characters that the reader will care about. They are written extremely well.
I’m still loving the romance. In this book of the series, there is major conflict where the romance is concerned. Ella and Reed have opposition from Ella’s father and they also have other conflicts that they have to fight through. I love the focus on sticking with each other no matter what happens.
While there is a plethora of drama going on in this book, I really appreciate how the authors focus on emotion. The emotions of the characters are not glossed over at all. We get to see how things affect them and how they deal with them. The situations that occur in the book are serious and the emotions that are displayed are very adequate portrayals. I like how the authors were able to evoke emotion with the tiny things like character chemistry or a gesture or a look.
Overall, I am totally amazed by this series! This book was fantastic! I couldn’t have asked for a better ending to Ella and Reed’s love story. (Though I hope that there will be more of them in the last two books!) I am eager to hear experience Easton’s story. His character has been one of my favorites. I am ready to learn more about this tortured boy. I highly recommend this series to anyone that isn’t bothered by sensitive issues. There are a lot of those in this series, so if you are triggered easily by serious issues then this is probably not the book series for you. And if someone at Netflix is reading this review, please, oh pretty please consider this for a Netflix original series! This series puts Pretty Little Liars to shame with all the drama. It’s addicting!
READ AND REVIEWED AUGUST 2017
Steve O’Halloran, Ella’s dead father happened to be alive and well after almost a year of disappearance. And Callum’s estranged fiance Brooke Davidson may have been killed, but her ghost never left the Royals, especially now that his son Reed had been accused of murdering her. Surprise surprise! Just when you thought you had them all figured out, the explosive truth about their families just got even more shocking and scandalously disturbing.
Yes, Twisted Palace had been totally mind-blowing! In a true Erin Watt’s tradition, the readers always get the surprise of their lives whenever the Royals are concerned. I was absolutely shocked by the turn of events, the betrayal, deceit, all the lies and treachery were overwhelming and heart breaking.
Ella and Reed had been to the moon and back, through heaven and hell since they’d been together. I commend Ella for being the one who changed the Royal family, especially turning Reed from obnoxious to subdued and in control. Yes, she’d been the much-needed anchor in their misery-drowned life, the rainbow that appeared after a raging storm. Reed, on the other hand, had somehow shown the kind of love that had been missing in her life. For all its worth, she’d proven multiple times that she could handle herself. Reed had not only been instrumental in ruining her but also in making her whole again.
The Royals had indeed ruined me, bit I loved all of them just the same.
Obviously, I could not put this book down! I just had to know what happened to Brooke and what would happen to Reed and what was going on with Steve!
So, this series is like the best parts of every soap opera I’ve ever seen. It’s dramatic and angst-filled and there is so much shock and awe that I caught myself yelling out loud and my mouth dropping open on several occasions.
This book finishes Reed and Ella’s portion of the story, but it’s my understanding that other books will move on to other characters. I’m kicking myself that I don’t have the next book right here to start reading right away.
it was so full of suspense that i could not wait to turn the page.
So I have finally finished Twisted Palace firstly I want say my review will not have spoilers….secondly I can’t wait for everyone else to read this.
Where do I start holy moly well this book was full of everything oh my goodness. This would have to be the series of 2016 it is for me anyways. If you haven’t read Paper Princess what ever book you are reading you have to put down and read the first 2 books in this series it’s phenomenal.
It’s a bit for me a cross between Cruel Intentions and Gossip Girl it’s all about who’s in the in crowd and there is a family at the fore front with way too much Drama, but it keeps you interested over 3 books. After reading this I already want to read Paper Princess again.
You will not regret this series, you have Reed who is the best book boyfriend ever, then you can’t help but love Easton and the twins. I have not had many books where I love all the characters even the dad Callum. I love the family bond they all have and I love the way Ella and Reed love each other and the support for each other.
As there are many twists and plots in this book I just couldn’t put it down I had to know how everything was going to unfold with Steve coming back, who killed Brooke, what was going to happen with Gideon and Dinah. There was just so much to find out.
and geez did the authors do the best job ever congrats on such and great series hopefully so far no pressure but a book for Easton would be amazing lol just saying 🙂
I would like to thank Elle Kennedy and Jen Frederick for bringing all these characters to life and making a bloody fantastic story and also giving me the chance to get an ARC I was beyond excited to see this on my kindle. This book deserves 10+++++++ stars beyond fantastic
This is the third book in ‘The Royals’ series and after enjoying the first two books I was very looking forward to this book. Because the second book ended with a huge cliffhanger so I wanted to see where the writer would take us next. I can say that I enjoyed the path where the writer took me on but I must also say that of the three books, I enjoyed the first two books most. ‘Twisted palace’ was good but I missed a little suspense/action in this one. Maybe it was also the fact that in the first two books the Royal men were the strong ones and I got the impression that in this book it was Ella who was the strong one. I also couldn’t really connect with Ella’s father. But I’m happy with the ending and I look forward to reading Easton’s story.
“Reed’s not the destroyer. He’s never destroyed anything in his life; he’s always been the protector, even at this moment when he battles his own lust for control.”
Jaw dropped to the floor, I inhaled this one in a few hours, dying to know how it would all end. Never saw any of it coming and it left me with my heart skipping a beat with all the obstacles laid before this couple. At no point was I completely sure we could get an HEA, but it was a wild ride to find out!!
“You. Us. Forever.”
With the whole world ripping them apart, their love seemed deeper than that of a typical High School couple, and in truthfully they are so beyond regular High Schoolers it’s crazy. In a world of excess, secrets, lies, betrayal, it all burst wide open, with breadcrumbs throughout to really enhance the reading experience for me. It was never a dull moment and I was completely turned upside down by the time I got to the end. All three books left me white knuckling my kindle and devouring them all in a weekend!!
“Ella Harper is all I’m ever going to see, because she’s my future. She my steel and my fire and my salvation. She’s everything.”

The series is a bit up and down for me. I liked the first book a lot. It started off a bit slow but then it sucked me in. The second book, Broken Prince, was action packed from beginning to end and boy did it end of a high note. This one though, we do find out a lot, but it kept circling for me.
I don’t think I expected that out of Ella’s dad. For me, I thought that whole story line didn’t seem to fit. I was expecting more I guess.
I kept feeling like we were watching The Vampire Diaries. You know the season they brought Klaus on and all we heard was “We have to kill Klaus” over and over and over again. Instead of moving the story forward and having this big full story we have the same content repeated and repeated. Don’t get me wrong though, I did like the book and I don’t regret reading it or this series. I just wish this would have been more.
Do I still recommend these books? You bet. I just think this one is my least favorite out of all of them.
The best part to me was the last 20% of the book. Although the first half really didn’t blow me away like the last two books did, this is still a fantastic series. I hope the other Royal men get their own books. This whole family is fascinating!
This was such a bittersweet book. It was a good ending for Ella and Reed, but I am really going to miss reading about these two! It was a bit slower than the two previous books, but it really picked up towards the end. I can’t wait for Easton’s book. I can’t wait to get inside his head…actually I’m kind of nervous lol!
I can’t say that I’ve really read much as twisted as this series, but I really enjoyed. The suspense keeps you turning page after page to get to the finale, and the ups and downs of the relationships keeps you engaged as well. Will be looking for more work from this author.
