In the power struggle between two elite groups, one feisty girl will bring them to their knees… hands.
But the man I love refuses to let me go, and he’s hell-bent on protecting me at all costs.
Except he’s far too late.
Kaiden’s betrayal fuels the anger flowing through my veins, and now our roles are reversed—I’m the hunter, and he’s my prey. I enjoy torturing him, lying to him, and letting him believe in false truths that were never our reality.
Until the stakes are raised, and I’m forced into playing their game again. Only this time, it’s not just my life hanging in the balance.
I thought he’d done his worst. That he didn’t have the power to hurt me anymore.
But I was wrong.
His depravity knows no bounds, and now, he’s taken everything from me.
This time, it means war, and I’m taking no prisoners.
This is book two of three and it’s not a standalone read. Due to mature content and themes, this series is only recommended to readers aged eighteen and older. 97,000 words in length and ends on a cliffhanger.

Twisted emotions…
“Twisted Betrayal”, the second book in Siobhan Davis’ ‘Rydeville High Elite’ series, left me speechless. I was having trouble writing this review because of the plot – I can’t actually write anything without revealing major twists and turns, especially for those (unfortunate ones – trust me!) who haven’t grabbed the first book in the series yet.
Abby’s journey continuous in this second installment. And what a journey it is! She literally has to navigate through Scylla and Charybdis in order to succeed and free herself (and the ones she loves) from an impossible situation and her malicious father (who, I can dare say, is the most despicable villain I have encountered in a book – ever!) – and still it’s not sure she is going to succeed. She experiences the ultimate betrayal and loss and heartbreak – friends turn to enemies, enemies turn to friends. Secrets are revealed – secretes with the power to, once again, turn everything upside down – I can’t remember the number of times my jaw hit the floor.
Yet, Abby doesn’t give up. She is a fighter, a strategist, a powerful, determined woman, who doesn’t let anyone walk all over her, but with a heart that, even if it’s wary (and rightfully so), is forgiving and full of love. I am not going to talk about the males in this book (Kai / Camden, Charlie, Drew etc) no matter how much I want to, because the plot twists involving them are many and way too revealing – and I don’t want to ruin the experience for those of you who haven’t started with the series yet. All I am going to say is that many Alpha males (not only the main one) are swoon worthy, that Abby knows what she is doing in this department and that the hot scenes are HAWT – especially one in particular (you’ll know which one I mean when you read the book – I am still fanning myself). The cliffhanger in which this book ends – which, by the way, believe it or not, is WORSE, than the one Ms Davis left us with in the previous book , makes me crazy with anticipation for the final installment. October can’t be here soon enough.
The range of emotions this book evoked in me is, yet again, endless. I cried and I shouted (a lot), I laughed, I swooned, I fanned myself. The angst is palpable (as in every book by Ms Davis) and once again I found myself sitting at the edge of my seat. Well done and another five stars from me.
I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
Twisted Betrayal starts five weeks after the events in Cruel Intentions. Abby is at Parkhurst against her will. Desperate to get out, Abby is forced to agree to the conditions that her father forced upon her. But, things aren’t what they seem, and Abby must choose who she trusts carefully. Because if her father found out what she was planning, she and everyone she cares for will be killed. What is Abby planning on doing? And can she pull it off? What about Kaiden? Will Abby reunite with him?
I was devastated when I started reading Twisted Betrayal. Because of the cliffhanger in Cruel Intentions, I had no idea who or what was going to happen to Abby. My worst fears were recognized when she awoke at Parkhurst. She was at the mercy of her father. Out of all the people, he was the first on my list of “people who shouldn’t have Abby.”
I knew that the book was going to get intense when Kaiden’s brothers kidnapped her. I thought I was prepared from the last book. I thought the antics that Kaiden and Abby put me through as a reader was the worse it was going to get. Yeah, right. This book was double everything in Cruel Intentions.
Kaiden and Abby still had some serious chemistry. I did wonder if they would end up having sex. Mainly because of Abby’s feelings for him at the beginning of the book. When they did finally have sex, oh boy, was it explosive. The author outdid herself with the sex scenes too!!
Abby’s father disgusted me. The thing he said. The stuff he DID!! There was a specific scene at the end of the book that made me want to throw up. I hope he gets what is coming to him in book 3!!
The end of the book shocked me. Not only because of what happened (there were several things) but who was involved. Looking back, hints were leading up to that twist. And, again, the book ends on a cliffhanger. Why do that to me!!! I can’t wait until October!!
The gang from Rydeville High are back after the cliffhanger in “Cruel Intentions”. Abigail wakes up and her whole world is turn upside down. She finds out that everyone she loves has been keep secrets from her and the betrayal cuts deep. When she finds out what her father has done to her and the sick games, he keeps playing her life is far from her own. When she thinks she finds an escape the rug gets pulled out from under her again. Charlie is playing a game that Abigail wants no part of, but she must come up with a game plan of her own to stay ahead of the Elite. When Kaiden finds Abigail, they have a very tenuous reunion because he kept so many secrets from her. Once they talk and all the secrets are out, they start creating an even stronger bond that I don’t think it can be broken. All the while Charlie is behind the scenes pulling strings that Abigail did not know he could pull. Twisted Betrayal is about a game of power, greed and betraying those close to you without a care in the world. That is the game Abigail must play if she wants to survive the life she will be forced to live.
Kaiden and his gang of friends are still working to find what they can to bring the Elite down and finally find some closure. The whole story relies on the characters being one step ahead of the enemy, but they can’t seem to catch a break. All the characters in the book this time come into their own in a way they didn’t in the first book. Abigail is still as fierce and dramatic as always. Kaiden is still sinister and his love for Abigail shows bright in this book. Drew has changed dramatically with a dark side that is lurking at the surface. Charlie has changed the most because he is all about himself and wanting Abigail is something he wants. He even makes a deal with the devil to get what he wants. The other supporting characters still have some more growing to do and I hope I get to see more of them in the next book. I do wish the book would have wrapped up in this on because now I must wait for the next one to be release. I do think the story could have been done in the second book and the author could have moved to a different set of characters. Twisted Betrayal is a great story of suspense, lies, betrayal, and survival. Abigail is the epitome of what a woman must go through to survive the life of a strong woman when a man tries to break you.
*Read an ARC and this is my honest opinion.*
I had no trouble bouncing right back into this book. It sucks you right back in. Questions were answered and I’m shocked. There’s quite a few surprises in store for you. Just when you think there is no more, there’s more. This book is even better than the first if at all possible. I’m so excited to read more and we don’t have to wait long! Very highly recommend this book and series!
Twisted Betrayal is book two in the Rydeville High Elite series. It can not be read as a stand alone, you must read Cruel Intentions first. After the crazy cliffhanger in book one, I couldn’t wait to read this one. Twisted Betrayal picks up where Cruel intentions left off. Abby is in trouble in this one. Like her I didn’t know who she should trust. I was hooked on the story and truly didn’t know where it would go next. This one doesn’t disappoint. It’s a crazy roller coaster ride of a read. This is definitely one series you should check out.
Mind. Freaking. Blown.
Twisted Betrayal was a rollercoaster experience to the extreme. It played games with my mind and heart. And it was exciting, exhilarating, seductive and complicated journey. I did not know what is going to hit me in the next page and holding that feeling from the first page to last is simply phenomenal.
This is not a standalone and you need to read the first book before starting this. Abby is a firecracker. I just freaking love this feisty, smart, resourceful, cunning and lovable girl. Her strength to stand up to all the toxic negativity in her life and turn the game on to her rivals is brilliant. And she has this softer vulnerable side which comes out in extreme pressure which makes her human. She can be manipulative and use her body as asset but she is a queen all the way.
And Cam will be her king, she wants it or not. Betrayal, anger, hate and devastation bind them together along with all encompassing, soul deep and intense love. Their chemistry gave me literal goosebumps and aching pain in my chest. Because the power games of the Elite and New Elite will be dragging them through hell. Trust me it was unbearable at times. The sick, perverted and deranged challenges almost made me throw up. Cam is the ultimate possessive, dominating and damaged alpha hero. He is carrying so much burden and it is not getting easier. He is playing with fire and he may end up losing everything.
The storyline is insane. The shock value of this story is all time high. My mind was buzzing with the unexpected revelations one after another. I had stop to absorb the impact and re read parts just to grasp what is happening. It was crazy and jaw dropping intense. And the dirty filthy sexuality blatantly portrayed was insane. Some specific twists almost made me throw up. It was the ride of the lifetime but we are nowhere near the end.
Suspense. Mystery. Angst. Heartbreak. Grit. Passion. Friendship. Love. Revenge. Power plays. Mind games. Twisted Betrayal was a kaleidoscope of emotions and feelings. Siobhan Davis has created an exceptionally written and brutally honest dark romance. My heart and soul was assaulted with this intoxicating and captivating story from every direction. And I barely survived.
Received ARC for Honest Review
This book! After the ending of the first book I was so excited for this book and couldnt wait to read it. I dived right in and did not put down until the end. She has just been through so much and in this one my heart absolutely and completey broke for them and all they are still going through. I admire her for the strength she shows and the determination they all have to end it all. Truly can not wait for the next book as I desperately need to know whats going to happen.
I could not wait to dive into this story after I was left on the edge of my seat with the first book. And WOW!! Twists and turns are everywhere. I was introduced to Ms. Davis’ writing with Cruel Intentions and I have to say she absolutely keeps you on edge with this series. I am one of those people who LOVES a good cliff hanger and Ms. Davis definitely knows how to give us one.
Definitely a must and I need to stay on this crazy ride to see how this all ends. Bring on the next book!!!!
5 WTF Stars
WOW. Just WOW. This story takes place immediately after the ending of book one. From the first page you are dropped into this Holy Shit that just happened story and it does not stop. You’re thrust into a non-stop ride that will have you literally on the edge of your seat start to finish.
“Over my dead fucking body,” he growls, moving into my personal space again.” You’re mine,” he snarls. “I own you.”
Oh boy if you thought Kaiden was an over-protective Alphahole in book one just you wait. He is the quintessential bad boy Alpha. I absolutely loved him in this story, everything about him was a total turn on. Watching how much Kaiden has changed on a personal level in this story was amazing to watch. He grows so much from book one and his jerkish ways.
Kaiden and Abby have this explosive chemistry that burns through the pages. Their banter and anger were vibrant and alive you could feel their emotions. Siobhan created these characters with a realness you can’t duplicate. What Abby endures would literally break any other person, but Siobhan created her with this strength that can not be matched.
“And I’m a goner. His kisses suck me in and claim every part of me. I feel the seductive caress of lips in every molecule of my being. Filling me up. Heating me on contact. Confirming his truth, and making me a liar, but I can’t stop.”
This book is freaking intense, I could not put it down, I consumed every word from the moment I opened it. I seriously wanted to throat punch some people in this story on more than one occasion. I wanted to throw my Kindle and must of said “Are you fucking kidding me” under my breath at least a dozen times while reading. I don’t want to give away spoilers so I’m not going to say much. But this book is amazing, you will not be able to put it down. And in true Siobhan fashion she leaves you with an epic cliffhanger, that will have you going SERIOUSLY THAT DID NOT JUST HAPPEN!!! Loved this story from start to finish, you need to read this yesterday it is that good. October cannot come soon enough.
“Those boys don’t have an allegiance to my husband. Most of them don’t even know him.” She looks me directly in the eye. “Their loyalty is to you. They did this for you.”
***I voluntarily reviewed an advance complimentary copy of this book***
It’s very difficult to write a review about this book without giving spoilers…so I’ll say this!
This books title is absolutely perfect for it!
Twisted
Betrayal
Those two words alone describe this book absolutely perfectly! Nothing is as it seems and no clue who you can trust.
Abby is one of the absolute STRONGEST female characters I’ve ever had the pleasure of reading! Her life is hard and she’s been betrayed more than she’s had people stand up for her. I can’t begin to tell you how many times I wanted to throw my kindle. I had to lay it down and walk away for a bit…things were so intense. I loved it though! Each moment in this book I was completely captivated by what was going on! Siobhan Davis is a mastermind at keeping you entertained.
Siobhan Davis is the QUEEN of cliffhangers and Twisted Betrayal has ended on one of the best…
Twisted Betrayal continues on from Cruel Intentions.
I found this story a little slow to begin with but the anticipation grew to an all mind blowing ending. Beware that as you read, some parts may be very hard for a few people but if you can overcome those parts, you won’t be disappointed.
The only way to describe this amazing story is in the title itself… Truly Twisted and Betrayal gives it a new meaning…
I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
Just like always, Siobhan has given her characters mountains to move. I’d be terrified she couldn’t write her way out of it, if I didn’t know how amazing she is at doing just that, and making it completely believable.
I was privileged to read a beta copy of the book. This might have been those most intense book she’s ever written, and that’s really honestly saying something! Siobhan doesn’t do light, she doesn’t do fluff. (Not that there’s anything wrong with fluff, I love me some good fluff). But, Siobhan never shies away from the hard topics, she’s never afraid to show us the darkness, particularly in her villains. Siobhan has written her most amazingly awful, abhorrent villain ever. I just honestly want to tear him apart from limb to limb. Every time I thought we had seen the worst of him, boom more awful things. She left us on a big cliffhanger too! I can’t believe how much happened in this book. I’m honestly reeling a bit from the revelations, particularly in the last 5 chapters.
I anxiously await the next book! I know we’re lucky that Siobhan writes like the wind, but man, I just CANNOT wait for the next one. I know I’m going to be on the seat of my chair, biting my nails the whole time!!
After finishing Cruel Intentions, I waited with bated breath for Twisted Betrayal. Not only did Siobhan give me what I wanted, she delivered even more on this story line.
I truly have no idea what to say or where to start this review. Siobhan is an amazing story-teller. She has this niche to deliver a well-rounded and thought-out story with so many twists and turns that keeps you on the edge the whole time. Her stories have a lot going on in them but that is what makes them so easy to get sucked into and never want to leave.
I had thought that I come to know everything that Siobhan could throw our way, but she has once again left me in a state of shock. But I should know better by now – Siobhan will always push her readers and keep them on their toes. And let me clarify that by saying Siobhan will deliver a shock not for the sheer value of it but because it fits the characters and what would be appropriate to fit that scene. You know something is to come and you think you know what bomb will be dropped, but that is where Siobhan executes the twists so well.
Ok – So I just realized I have not said a word about this book. LOL Sorry – I am just in awe of her writing and how well developed her stories and characters are.
This book does pick up right after Cruel Intentions. Abby has been drugged and she has no idea where she is and who took her. And well, in true Siobhan form, shit takes off from there and we are taken on an exhilarating journey riddled with discoveries to questions we had from book one but more questions are added in.
Abby, Kai, Drew and the rest of the cast (yes, cast because this truly feels like it could be a movie or a kick-ass TV series) are dead set on figuring out what their fathers are all about and what they each have planned. And just when they think they have an understanding, things only get more deeper and more depraved.
This book is addictive. That is all I can say. It is not for the faint of heart because some of the scenes are quite graphic but holy hell, are they jaw-dropping. The suspense is evident and keeps you right in the thick of everything. I have no idea what Siobhan will throw our way anymore with this story.
And that cliffhanger – OMG!!! I have chills, legit goosebumps all over my body. I also have this “HELL YES” feeling because I can only imagine what Siobhan is gong to bring next. I am so excited for Sweet Retribution.
Holy book!!! This story keeps getting juicier and juicier. So many secrets, so many evilness and so much hotness!!!!! Who can Abby trust?! Who has her back?! Omg so many questions!!!!!!!!!! Her dad is still a monster and gets worse by the Book, Charlie?! Hmmmm…… Kai still hot, his friends still loyal and Drew sort of reddens himself. But wow how in the world is this going to end?! No one knows because we still don’t know who’s who and who’s working with who and ahhhhhhhhhh I need the conclusion!!!!!
Twisted Betrayal is the second installment in my much anticipated reads of this year. After that insane cliffhanger of the first book, Twisted Betrayal continues where the story left off.
While trying to be vague, I’d say that after the shocking revelations, I thought that was it. I was so wrong. Secrets upon secrets, on top of betrayals are still part of this book. I was screaming my head off because of some plot twists that I never saw coming. I keep on forgetting that in this world, TRUST NO ONE is the name of the game and that you only have yourself to rely on. Thank God, Abby is one fierce woman or she would have been a pawn and a doormat long before.
I couldn’t stop reading as I keep flipping the pages to know more. I was biting my nails as I was kept on the edge of my seat, dreading the feeling of foreboding. I just cant. I’m totally mind fucked, LOL. And please, can we do something about Abby’s father? I swear I have never loathed a fictional character more than I did this one.
I’m DYING to read the next one because that ending? It SLAYED me. GAH!!! WTF!!! I don’t know how I will cope by waiting until the last book comes out. Freaking loved this!!!
My mind is racing, my heart is hurting and I can’t even begin to know where to start! Everything, I mean EVERYTHING, you thought you knew gone like dust! All of it a farce, all of it a painful lie! My god Davis just stuns me silent with each novel and I don’t know how to put the pieces together after this! I need book 3 like I need my next breathe because Abby is out for blood and she deserves every single drop!
5+ Stars
If I thought Cruel Intentions stunned me speechless, I don’t know how I’m going to describe Twisted Betrayal . Abby’s journey got crazier in epic proportion. This suspenseful, twisty story got more dark, gritty and raw. My head was spinning and my heart was pounding, and I stopped guessing because the results were always unexpectedly shocking and way out of my imagination. The author had lead us to somewhere wild, depraved and unpredictable with amazingly well-written and thought-out plot.
The title of the book was totally fitting as everyone had betrayed Abby at some point and there was no one that she can trust or rely on. I admired her resilience and strength as no teenager should be able to survive the ordeal that she had to suffer. I hated the villain – just when I thought he couldn’t get more evil and heartless, he had proven me wrong. Within the dark and chaotic situation, there were the rare heartfelt and genuine moments. My stomach was in knots and my guards were still up because I knew deep down the good times were just a tease before the other shoe drops. The startling cliff-hanger was the other shoe and even when I was expecting that, I was not prepared for the brutal impact.
This dark and gritty story is not for everyone. It contained some jaw-dropping graphic scenes that were not for the faint of heart. However, I absolutely love every minute of this consuming story and I couldn’t wait to get my hands on Sweet Retribution, the final installment to this epic trilogy.
I voluntarily reviewed an advance complimentary copy of this book. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.

Overall: 5 / 5
Twisted Betrayal is the second book in the Rydeville High Elite series written by author Siobhan Davis. So you are aware, this series has a continuous storyline. Therefore, you must read Cruel Intentions, the first book in the series, before beginning this one. And let me tell you, I am completely speechless. I just stared at the last page for like five minutes, trying to process what I’ve read.
Twisted Betrayal continues to tell the story of Abigail Hearst-Manning. This story is full of so many twists, and when I thought there couldn’t possibly be any more, Siobhan delivers the most epic twist that I have read. I would love to fill you in on all the juicy details, but this is one series that you need to experience yourself!
Every one of Siobhan’s books that I’ve picked up, I’ve absolutely loved. And each one, I didn’t think she could top, and she has each and every time. Siobhan has done a fabulous job of not only writing an outstanding story but also creating characters that are also so gripping, whether I love or loathe them.
This is one of those series that you drop everything, and run to get it the moment it’s published! And I’m currently dying for Sweet Retribution, the third and final book in the series, which is expected to be published in October.

I AM SPEECHLESS.
I CANNOT DESCRIBE HOW MUCH I LOVED THIS BOOK, I THOUGHT I KNEW WHAT WAS GOING TO HAPPEN BUT BOY WAS I WRONG.
Twisted Betrayal picks up right where Cruel Intentions left off, we are once again thrown into a loop. Kai, boy do I love Kai. I do admit that I went into this 2nd book disliking him, but I ended this book loving him so much. Abby and Kai are FIRE, the chemistry between these two will leave you speechless. This book is so much more than book 1, you will laugh, cry, smile, get angry, but you will love every single thing about this book.
I am once again, left crying wanting the 3rd and final book in this amazing and epic story. THIS SERIES IS A MUST READ!!!!
There are despicable fathers and then there is Mr Manning, he is messed up in the head that you will not fathom the low that he sunk too while Abby was drugged up in captivity. Its beyond illegal and creepy.
I love it when characters from other books makes an appearance and to top it off, they are my favourite couple in that series, will not spoil the surprise for you.
You will not want to put down this page turner, but the cliff hanger will have you pulling out your hair in frustration as Mr. Manning is the sickest bastard I have ever heard the displeasure of coming across in my reading journey.
The power and reach of the elite make me believe that is why Trump is still president and looking forward to another term.
