In the power struggle between two elite groups, one feisty girl will bring them to their knees… hands.
But the man I love refuses to let me go, and he’s hell-bent on protecting me at all costs.
Except he’s far too late.
Kaiden’s betrayal fuels the anger flowing through my veins, and now our roles are reversed—I’m the hunter, and he’s my prey. I enjoy torturing him, lying to him, and letting him believe in false truths that were never our reality.
Until the stakes are raised, and I’m forced into playing their game again. Only this time, it’s not just my life hanging in the balance.
I thought he’d done his worst. That he didn’t have the power to hurt me anymore.
But I was wrong.
His depravity knows no bounds, and now, he’s taken everything from me.
This time, it means war, and I’m taking no prisoners.
This is book two of three and it’s not a standalone read. Due to mature content and themes, this series is only recommended to readers aged eighteen and older. 97,000 words in length and ends on a cliffhanger.

I absolutely love this series!!
I was eagerly awaiting Twisted Betrayal and Siobhan Davis did not disappoint! I have been anticipating book 2 of the Rydeville High Elite series from the very moment I finished Cruel Intentions. I was obsessed from beginning to end!! Who needs sleep? Sleep is overrated anyway!
My favorite characters came back to play and trying to decide where some loyalties lie, has been a mystery. All of the angst, betrayal, and swoon worthy moments are back in full force… and then some. Just sayin, Kai could definitely break me and I would be okay with it. 😉
Siobhan keeps you on your toes, with every twist. If you thought the cliff hanger in Cruel Intentions was good, nothing will prepare you for this! Oh my goodness golly!! I can not wait for Sweet Retribution!! I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
I am just in utter and complete shock! Never in all my life have I so DESPERATELY wanted to have a follow up book as I have with this. After reading the last chapter of this book, I desperately want the next book out NOW. Why you ask? Nope I’m not giving anything away by these words. If you’ve even just read book one, you’ll understand….but after THIS book? I’m chomping at the bit to see exactly how Abby will take her revenge on her sicko of a father and EVERYONE involved in taking everything from her. This woman has so much inner strength it’s unreal! I was in awe after book one, but now more so. The blinders are off and she KNOWS now who her true enemies are. Watch out Elite for though this book closes a certain way I have ZERO doubts she and her allies will TAKE DOWN and scorch those responsible for her/their pain. Abby has two things the Elite loathe in women….STRENGTH and BRAINS. I CAN’T WAIT to see the final book in this utterly heartbreaking trilogy. Like a Phoenix I have no doubt she’ll rise from these flames and fly! I will cheer her and those that help every step of the way! I dare you not to cheer to.Be prepared however…where you have triggers or not this book is tough to read and imagine. I can only imagine the scorched earth policy to come in the next book when I have no doubts that Abby and her allies will lay down the BIGGEST smackdown ever! Three cheers for Abby.
I was fortunate enough to beta read this book and OMG! Book 1, Cruel Intentions, was just child’s play because now my head is spinning and my mind is blown – this book hangover is going to last for days and days! Be prepared for your jaw to drop and try real hard to hold onto your kindle – you’re going to be tempted to throw it across the room. I don’t know where Siobhan comes up with these plot twists but I sure love the way her mind works – and the way she writes! I’ve never read a more appropriately titled book – the betrayal was twisted indeed! It’s going to be so hard waiting for Sweet Retribution!
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.
What’s not to love about this book…better yet the whole series. I’ve laughed, I’ve cried, I’ve been so angry I could throw things but most of all I’ve been in love with these characters. They each have a way of drawing you in, yet making you so angry you could bash them in the face lol. Siobhan does not disappoint. Ever!!! I had no idea how she could make this book better than the previous two but she went beyond anything I could have imagined. I can’t say more because you need to read it for yourself but friends…do yourselves a favor and read it. It’s wonderfully written and I have already recommended it to family and friends. Now I’m patiently…or not so patiently waiting on Jackson’s story!!!!
Just like with the first book,I’m left speechless and wondering what have I just read?
But,unlike with the first book, which I really liked, this one left me with sceptical and with mixed feelings.
After the events of the first book,Abby is trapped in an unknown place. After being threatened by her father, she complies to his demands but secretly she is planning her escape. When an opportunity strikes she uses it,but Kaiden won’t just let Abby go.He is determinate to protect her and their baby at any cost.Ans so,the battle of survival,in a world full of sex and money begins.
I loved the writing. It’s very engaging and not boring and very much appropriate for bunch of teenager because the main characters are all teenagers.
Unfortunately, there were more reasons to why I didn’t like this book.
I will list them below and there might be spoilers.
1)Abby-From the first page Abby is all about how she wont let anyone control her life, she will fight for her self and she will destroy her father.Ultimately,Abby does very little here,It’s everyone else who controls her that does it.She is ruled by everyone.
2)Abby and Kaiden-I know that there are lots of different relationships out there but this one represent the epitome of one unhealthy relationship that borders obsession. It’s very bad relationship and it feels very forced.I didn’t like the fact that Abby used her pregnancy to hurt Kai,cause you know, that topic was something that hurt her a lot. That was a proof to me that Abby is just a very hormonal teen girl.
3)Abby does not have one single true friend.I can’t understand why does everyone around her needs to be involved with either old or new elite.Xavier could easily be just her friend and ally and that would be one true relationship here.
4)I get that Abby’s father is evil, but some of the things he’s done and just insane and ridicules. They were too excessive and they felt forced just caues of the shock factor. There is no way Abby can’t make the difference between her breasts and what the doctor has done to her.It was too much.It went too far and it was completely unnecessary(in my opinion).
5)Charlie was one good guy here and very good friend-why turn him into villain(The shock factor again).
I really felt like some things were there just cause of plot twist and not cause they were necessary to the story. Some things were just beyond my abilities to understand.
I just didn’t like it as much as I expected.
WHAT IN THE EVER LOVING FUCK JUST HAPPENED?!
This book!
Gah!
I don’t know how to write this review without giving away spoilers.
I have never been so mad and disgusted at a character before I’m all of my life. I need to hand out some throat punches
Just as I thought things were going to get better for Kaiden and Abby, Siobhan Davis just blew up their world and mine!
I have never been so angry, infuriated, and damn right stabby at a book like this before.
I will say though, the character development in this book was epic!
I loved Kaiden and Abby and the moments they had together. He has stolen my heart so badly and I don’t even care.
If you think Siobhan Davis messes you up with book 1… then you have got no idea with Twisted betrayal. I just inhaled this book in one sitting. So strap in, make sure you don’t need to adult and get ready to shout at the top of your lungs because this book… will wreck you!!
*I received a free copy of this book which I voluntarily chose to write an honest review for.
OMG there is so much going on in this book!! Poor Abby is being pulled in every different direction and just when she thinks she is starting to figure things out she gets slammed with new info. Her emotions are all over the place obviously making it that much harder to handle all these different aspects as each one comes up. Constantly running, exhausted, and afraid will run anyone done. Just when things might be looking up a new road block surfaces especially that doozy of an ending that makes me wish the next book was already available because I just have to know how this all plays out. The title fits this so well!! I totally loved it so I give it 5/5 stars.
OMG, what did I just read? This story is filled with a betrayal that would leave you balled up on the floor crying. But Abby knows that is exactly what her father wants. He wants her to be submissive and controlled so he can get his hands on her shares of the Manning fortune.
When Abby finally wakes up after several weeks, she finds herself locked away with no one coming to rescue her. And that really makes her mad. When she finds out just what her father has done, she can not believe it. She wants him dead. And if left to her, she will destroy him on her own.
When she finally sees her twin, Drew tries to convince her that it was safer to not rescue her. But Abby wants the truth and if she finds out anyone is lying to her, it will hit the fan. She has had too many of her so-called friends lie to her, the betrayal hurts.
When she finally gets to Kaiden, their pain is what keeps them fighting, but their love will keep them together. When he learns what her father has done, he wants him dead.
Can Abby, Kai, Drew, and their friends destroy the Elite before their father can take control? Will Abby and Kai get their HEA? Or is this the end of Abby?
As I said after the first book, I usually don’t read YA but this book has pulled me in and grabbed a hold of me and after reading this one I need the last book NOW, please! I have to know what happens.
If you haven’t read Siobhan Davis yet, you should and it doesn’t matter where you start. Grab one and read it, you will not be disappointed, I have loved everything I have read of her stuff so far. So sit back and enjoy!
**I voluntarily reviewed an advance complimentary copy of this book.**
You’ll have to pick your jaw up off the floor multiple times- the world of the Rydeville Elite is patriarchal at best and horrifying at worst, but these are the realities of these privileged and talented teens. What is expected of them, how those around them operate, the mystery and twists and surprises will knock you off your feet, but you’ll get right back up again but at the core of this story with this crazy and dark world of the elite is a story of interesting, complex, soulful, and enigmatic characters that you love to hate and hate to love.
I don’t want to give too much away with an overview, because the shock value of reading it blank slate is so delicious, but know that we have an amazing heroine Abby- she’s strong, focused, and driven, yet underneath her veneer she is hurting and trapped. She’s surrounded by a motley crew of elites- some we love (like her best friend or her brother) and some less so, like her significant other and especially her father. Her crew runs the show, until a new crew, some new “elites” roll into Rydeville and shake everyone up, including our hero, Kaiden that we first met as Cam in book one. Their chemistry is explosive and combative, and so so yummy, and only gets more and more intense in this second installment as they reconcile all the jaw dropping truths and revelations that happened in book 1.
Like All Siobhan tells get ready for nothing to be as it seems, for some nuanced and complex story telling, for fatally flawed but endearing and full realized characters, for a story that has more twists and turns than a mountain away, and for an EPIC cliff hanger. This world and these characters are so intriguing- I’m ready to take up residence in Rydeville just to see it all unfold.
This is the second book in this series Rydeville Elite and its just as awesome as he first book. I’m absolutely loving reading this series and loving how the story is unfolding and its keeping me totally captivated. I highly recommend reading the first book first so you know where the story is up to and who everyone is.
Abby is still trying to find the truth and unfolds all the secret and lies that have been told to her all her life and she knows that has to play there game to get what she wants, keeping your enemies closer and all that. Her father is taking things to another level and he is very very cruel. Abby is being betrayed left, right and center and all the guys know that they have to regain her trust and her love especially Kai. But the love that they share is on another level and the connection that they have is so strong that I found myself really rooting for them both.
I absolutely love how this author writes and her style of writing is amazing and really pulls the reader in. The cliffhangers that this author does are like WOAH!! Once you start reading one of this authors books you cant get enough and you need to read them all as they are amazing page turners. I loved these characters from book one and who there are and couldn’t wait to see how the action played out as this book really is T.W.I.S.T.E.D. This book flows throughout and t you will be totally invested right until the very end. This book has it all and is a really enjoyable read it had my emotions all up and down and I cant wait to read the next in the series.

Holy crap I need more stars with this review. OH MY GOD. I have no words. Book 1 hit him with the WTF, WTH and all that jazz but this book takes it to an entirely different level. It is twisted and hot and hits you with all the dam feels. Kai and Abby, just, whoa. And there are quite a few people it makes me want to throat punch.
I knew the cliff on the end of this book would be insane with how book 1 ended but holy crap it’s epic. You need this book and you need it now.
**no spoiler review**
Mind f**king blown.
Leave it to Siobhan to always leave me in pieces and waiting to be put back together again.
Twisted Betrayal is a rollercoaster of mind fu*ks and intrigue. You will be on the edge of your seat to the very last page….and then in Davis fashion…hanging off the ledge for more…
Book 3 cant come soon enough•
I need answers i just need more!!!!
This series is amazing and I would do so much to get inside Siobhan’s head to know how she comes up with allll of this…
Amazing… 5 billion stars!!
Disclaimer: This review MAY contain spoilers. I received an Advance Reader Copy at no cost from the publisher/author. All opinions in my review are my own.
This is another incredibly gripping story from Siobhan Davis. This book hooked me early on just like the first book. And like the first book, this book held me hostage in ways that I could only relish in.
One of my most favorite things about this series is that the author has an incredible talent for surprising and shocking the reader. The tension is always high and the drama comes on tenfold. I honestly never know what to expect. And the drama is so juicy that I can’t help but salivate over this story. Seriously, I just want more.
Siobhan Davis writes her characters in such an authentic way. You may only be reading about their lives through the pages of this book, but they are really much more than that to the reader. They are expressive, animated, and they altogether have a tangible quality to them. Like you could reach out and touch them. Like you could be the person sitting next to them living their crazy life right along with them. To me, these are the best kinds of characters.
The author really loves to leave us on the edge of a cliff with these endings. Honestly, I might consider jumping over that ledge if I could get the rest of this story. Just saying. -wink-
Overall, this is simply addictive. It’s a story full of shocking drama that will leave you with a book hangover that is serious business. You won’t know what to do with yourself and that’s okay. The book community will be here to help you through your time of need. Honestly, if upper young adult stories are your thing then you should start this series right away. The writing is superb, the plotting is explosive, and the characters are so intense. Plus, it’s in Kindle Unlimited right now so if you subscribe then it’s an easy win for you. I definitely recommend this. I can’t wait for the third book in this series!
I’m not sure what to say about this book to do it justice. In the second book, you see a different side to all the characters. Abby is a bit of a b**** at first, and Kai, although still the ultimate bada$$ alpha, shows a softer side. Not much of one, but it’s there for a select few.
You also see a different side to some of the secondary characters. Hidden agendas, and things you wouldn’t expect them to have done, or to do. You start to see them for who they really are. Their facade is falling and you see behind the mask they’ve been wearing.
People I was all for in book one, I’m not a fan of in book two. While on the other hand, those I wasn’t so fond of in book one, I’m a huge fan of now. I’m still hating her dad. No doubts on that one. Also not fond of Atticus, but that’s a given as well. He did his part in book one to hurt not just Abby but Kai.
I absolutely adore the way this author puts together words to make a masterful plot, and keep us on the edge of our seats for the next book. I can’t wait to see what happens next with Abby and Kai. Excited to see how this turns out.
Where do I even start? It’s safe to say that Siobhan is trying to ruin me. If you thought book one hit you where it hurt, book two is about to knock you on your ass… This story starts out crazy and it’s just gotten crazier. After the epic cliffhanger in book one…I have been going crazy trying to piece together what was going to happen in book two and I was so far off the mark…
In this book, Abby has been kidnapped and held prisoner, she has lost everything and hasn’t felt so alone before in her life. She doesn’t know who she can trust, and quite frankly, she can’t trust anyone, but she has to, well at least try to, even though every fiber in her body is telling her otherwise. What she thought of her dad and who he really is, is not even close to the evil that he truly is. He is hell-bent on completely ruining her, and he’s making it hard to not let him win but Abby is strong, she fights this and she isn’t alone anymore. She isn’t alone in this. I found my emotions so strung out with this book, my head spinning and my heart pounding. Ms. Davis sure as hell knows how to write a plot that will have you tugging at your hair, and that will have you wanting to punch the shit out of someone or something. The constant unknown…. That constant ball of anxiety in my stomach only grew as we got deeper into this plot, and I wish I could say that it eased, but it didn’t. I was strung the hell out. I’ll say this now, this book/series isn’t for everyone, but for me? it was everything! I couldn’t get enough. I love angst, I love darkness, I love the feeling of the unknown, and I love a good mind fuck and this book delivered it all. From start to finish, I was completely consumed. I needed to know more about Abby, and what was happening, and Kaiden and the rest of the gang. I needed answers and in the most part I got a lot of them, but in saying that, the author throws even more plot twists that I did not see coming in book two, and just when you thought things couldn’t get any crazier, I was proven wrong and now I am here, completely speechless and in awe of this authors way of telling a story. I am obsessed. My heart broke time and time again, and I’ll admit, I had tears in my eyes just thinking of everything that was happening and all that was experienced…It is not for the faint of the heart, that is for sure.
I need more… I want more. I wish I could sit here and tell you everything that just went down, but what would be the fun in that? I think going in with blind is the best approach because your head is about to spin.
5 Twisted Stars!
This series has become a must read, it starts after Cruel Intentions (book one) so read that one first. Abby has been taken and has no idea where, but Abby and Kai story goes beyond what you can imagine, this book is all twists, turns, perfect angst and just addictive. The emotions are so raw I couldn’t stop reading, it got my heart jumping all the time on edge and I now need the next book before I collapse. This reading is intense and now I am an official fan of Siobhan Davis.
The queen of cliffhangers has did it again!!!! I can’t think of a more fitting title! Get ready for all the emotions!
Ms. Davis has done it again. I wouldn’t have thought it possible but this time the twists are more brutal, the betrayals even more unforgettable, and the love story so heated the book steams. Kai and Abby jumped off the page and I couldn’t stop reading until I’d devoured every word.
I’m so unsure about this book and series. Book one I had trouble getting into but LOVED the second half and was so happy I pushed through!!! This book I liked the first half, but the ending wasn’t for me.
It’s been a few days since I finished reading the book and my thoughts haven’t changed. I was hoping by clearing my head and reading a romcom would help, but I’m still frustrated and angry with what’s happened.
While I love Cam and Abby together this series isn’t feeling like a romance to me. I feel like it’s about how many twists and turns can be thrown in. How much of a shock factor there can be. This books reminds me more of a physiological thriller than romance.
With that being said I’m still sitting on the edge of my seating needing to know what happens. Though it isn’t if she ends up with her love interest it’s what happens to other characters and if they get what’s coming to them.
