My brother was right. I always wanted my own Willow Girl. What happened on that island didn’t break me. It twisted me. Corrupted me.Made me into a monster.Although, I guess it’s true what she says. You can’t become something that wasn’t inside you all along. This was always going to happen. I was always going to take Amelia Willow. History and destiny sealed her fate. Sealed both of ours. For … destiny sealed her fate. Sealed both of ours.
For months, I’ve been waiting.
Watching.
Preparing.
And tonight, everything will change.
Because tonight, I’ll collect my own Willow Girl.
Author’s Note: Twisted is a standalone spinoff of the Dark Legacy Duet. No cliffhanger!

I wanted Gregory to get his own story, his own Willow Girl and Knight delivered.
If you haven’t read the first two books might I suggest you go no further- without that background of events nothing that happens within these pages will have any real impact
You will not understand the depth of betrayal that Gregory feels towards his brother and why
You will not comprehend the almost painful need that drives his desires to acquire and own a Willow Girl
The wraiths that haunt the edges of the darkness will make no sense
Amelia will be just another girl
And this will be just another story
For the rest of us – I went in with so many allusions as to how this would play out – Nothing prepared me for what unfolded- This was a beautifully detailed romance that brought the reader past the darkness
This did not have the physical darkness we experienced at the beginning of the series – This was more. This was Gregory raw and unabridged – It answered so many questions for me. Amelia I never even saw coming! There were so many ghosts that needed to be laid to rest.
I still have a lot of questions that need to be answered – We have an HFN – But what about little Scafonis? What about Ethan? Mom? Come on like you don’t want to know what she did? What happened to her?
“I am no white knight. I am not your friend. I didn’t do this out of the goodness of my heart. You and me, this was always going to happen.”
Natasha Knight is truly one of my favourite dark romance authors. Her writing creeps into your heart. Her characters draw me in deeply into their thoughts and feelings. Her stories manage to make me a mess and crave a little darkness in my life. She writes dark romance with such fire that you become engulfed in it. No one can write dark stories like Natasha Knight. She makes you become so invested in her stories and characters. She makes you become a slave to the pages that hold such menacing and powerful writing. She makes you hang on to every single word till they hit you straight in your heart.
With explosive and heart entrancing writing, Twisted is a soul bearing and dark tantalizing story full of intensity, twisted situations and a messed love that soaks you up from beginning. A spell binding suspense that makes your toe curl. A dark erotic that pulls you in. Inviting. Sexy. Emotionally Compelling. Twisted is a pulse hitting dark read filled with a roller coaster plot, intrigue and crazy and interesting characters that will give you a ride of your life. Buckle up, Twisted will take on a fast paced and full charge ride.
In Twisted, you are introduced to Amelia and Gregory, two messed up and scarred souls who find solace in each other. What starts as a captive/captor trope turns to love of two people who have been through pain and a messy past that truly shaped them. The chemistry is hot and dangerous. The push and pull tension so stirring that it pulls you deeper into the story. Gregory, a brooding, intense and dominant alpha anti-hero and Amelia, a strong and conflicted woman, come together as two complex characters who work.
Twisted is truly an interesting story. With a swift ending, you will definitely fall in love with the dark and disturbing tale. Definitely an enjoyable read if you love dark stories.
After walking away from his brother and his Willow Girl, Gregory sets his sights elsewhere. Amelia captured his attention on the night of the reaping, the night that changed their lives forever.
Gregory is a man who knows what the wants. He leaves nothing to chance. Everything is orchestrated and to the letter. He wants a Willow Girl to call his own and that’s exactly what he’s gunning for. She will be his, she just doesn’t know it yet.
This well told story follows on from the Dark Legacy Duet and immerses us in a world of dark desires that take both main characters by surprise. Seeing past characters return only adds to drama and suspense that will keep you hooked from start to finish.
Natasha Knight has long been one of my favorite authors and she certainly didn’t disappoint in Twisted. This is the continuation, although a stand alone, of Torn and Taken, which is a duet about the Scafoni brothers and the Willow Girl they claim. Twisted picks up where the duet left off, following Gregory Scafoni and Amelia Willow’s story. Will Gregory get past what occurred on the island in Torn and Taken? Will his heart heal enough to love Amelia or will his hurtful actions forever turn Amelia against him?
This book drew me in and held my heart until it ended, and I enjoyed the story so much, I didn’t want it to end. I highly recommend this book. In fact, I highly recommend any book by Natasha Knight
After Twisted and Torn I couldn’t wait for Gregory Scafoni to get his own story and this riveting read was definitely worth the wait. Gregory was the quintessential antihero that I couldn’t help but love and root for in spite of everything. Intense, sexy and surprising Twisted was an addictive read that was so much more than I ever anticipated. Both Amelia and Gregory were broken in their own ways but I loved how their broken pieces fit together perfectly. They each were the perfect counterbalance to the other and their deep emotional connection drew them irrevocably together. Twisted was a captivating pageturner that left me holding out hope that perhaps this isn’t the last we’ve heard from the Scafoni family.
WOW !!! I was blown away by Amelia and Gregory’s Story. I was completely captivated from the beginning. An amazing love Story . Such an intriguing storyline that I was riveted to every word, turning page after page in anticipation. I felt every emotion as if I was a part of their journey. Stunning is the only way to sum it up. I definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a an amazing read
Oh Wow!! I floved Twisted. I didn’t think that I could love Gregory as much as I did Sebastian, but gosh it is such a toss up. I liked Gregory in Taken and Torn, but didn’t love him. He was the type of character that was an asshole that you love to hate, but toward the ending of the Dark Legacy Duet I wanted more of his story. Gregory and Amy’s story answered so many unanswered questions about these two that I had from reading the Dark Legacy Duet. I loved their story just as much as Sebastian and Helena’s. This is such a beautiful broken love story that will make you fall in love with them all.
This book was just as addicting as the other two in Dark Legacy Duet and I really hate to see this one end.
*Even though this is a standalone, I HIGHLY recommend that Taken and Torn be read before Twisted so that you have the complete history of the Scafoni and Willow family legacy.
Happy Reading Everyone!!!

4.5 stars
Here it is Gregory’s story! For those of you that have read the “Dark Legacy Duet”, I believe that this one is an anticipated story. For what I’ve read after finishing “Torn”, many readers were curious about Gregory’s whereabouts.
This standalone is much-needed, at least for me! I wanted to pick into Gregory’s mind since meeting him at the previous books! He’s a pretty complicated story. I couldn’t really decipher his feelings before, and now being able to read his POV is quite enlightening! The whole story between him, Sebastian and Helena really messed up with his head and at the start of the book is not in the best state of mind. He wants to hurt Helena for what happened so he targets Amelia to do that. He’s been following her for weeks and now is the time to take her.
Amelia, Helena’s sister, has been obsessing over the reaping since that night. She’s keep sketching what happened and thinking about it constantly. Her mind is messed up and even though she knows is wrong, she craves it for herself. Gregory and Amelia’s interactions are intense and he comes out as cruel, especially at the start. He may know more about what she want after all and that actually scares her.
I don’t know how I feel about Amelia’s paranormal features, since it’s know really explained. I love how we got to see Sebastian and Helena again and them interacting with both Gregory and Amelia. This book is about forgiving, restoring relationships and leaving the past behind. The epilogues were truly amazing and I loved how the author wrapped up the story! I wish we get to see more of the characters soon!!
Another day another Scarfoni brother stealing his Willow Girl. Twisted is the third book in the Dark Legacy series. The first two books dealt with older brother Sebastian, his Willow Girl, Helena and the unfortunate third wheel, Sebastian’s younger brother, Gregory. Well, Gregory gets his own book and and Willow Girl and what a sexy treat!
Beware that there are mild spoilers for the first two books in this review.
The reaping that started this series has damaging effects on Gregory and Helena’s sister, Amelia. Amelia is emotionally damaged from watching her sister, Helena being taken away and not knowing what is happening to her. Gregory has been promised his entire life that he will get his chance with the chosen Willow Girl but Sebastian and Helena has other plans that will end the Scarfoni/Willow reaping from happening again and Gregory is literally left out in the cold.
Gregory was a very interesting character in the first two books. I didn’t know if he was a total psychopath or if there was something deeper within him. By the end of the second book I really wanted more of Gregory, maybe he was only half psychopath but with a heart…kind of. Ms. Knight really couldn’t end the Dark Legacy series with just Sebastian and Helena. There was more story to tell and Gregory needed his chance to tell his story. We briefly meet Amelia in the first two books and it isn’t until the end of the second that she starts to play a bigger role and is set up to continue the series.
The reaping has done its damage to Amelia and Gregory. Both can’t move past that horrifying moment in their lives and both are floundering around life trying to make sense of who they are after the reaping. The stuff that happened between Gregory, Sebastian and Helena on the island really did a number on Gregory. While Amelia can’t move past the night of the reaping, Gregory can’t move past the events on the island and its really fitting that two come together in this book.
There are some dark moments but this is not a total dark romance it’s more like dark PTSD romance (I know that’s not a thing but these two are DAMAGED). Twisted is what its titled, twisted. Gregory and Amelia are two very messed up individuals. What their parents and their families’ legacy has done to them is completely twisted. These two never stood a chance to having normal relationships with anyone and so I can’t really imagine them not finding each other (however messed up that first meeting was).
I really enjoyed this book. Gregory had become my favorite character by the end of book two and I really wanted to have some closure for him. Amelia was the perfect woman to go into battle with him. The two of them had a lot going against them and I enjoyed the twists that they had to work through and also the very smexy times the two had. If you have read the first two books you NEED to read Twisted. #TeamGregory
Gregory has intrigued me since first meeting him in Taken and Torn.
Something about him just captured a part of my heart.
I as over the mooned when Ms. Knight announced his story would be told.
After reading Twisted I now fully understand why Gregory was such pull for me.
His pain and sadness is showed in this book and why his need for his own Willow Girl.
Amelia wow what a strong strong lady she is.
Every since the night of the reaping something in Amelia changed and shifted.
She doesn’t want to admit to herself what she is feeling.
But once Gregory gets ahold of her he won’t let her hide.
Their relationship is turbulent and both are unaware of what they really want from each other.
The chemistry between them is undeniable and utter hot!
Their story is sexy and dark.
If you have read the Dark Legacy Duet, then this is about Gregory and Amelia. They were both important characters in those books. But be rest assured that this one can easily be read as a standalone. What an amazing 5 star story this was. I was hooked from the very first page read to the last one.
Gregory wants his Willow girl too. A very dark tradition that have been around for generations. They will fight to break this tradition with their love.
This is somewhat a darkish romance, just the way I like them. Just enough to not make me cringe. Since they were so important in the first two books, I was happy to see they would get their story. Beautifully written with a seamless plot. It was addicting and captivating.
I consider it a standalone but for better enjoyment read the Dark Legacy Duet first. Told in a dual POV with an HEA. I strongly recommend this story.
Twisted by Natasha Knight – 5 +++ stars
You read the title Twisted and might think that inside this book there will be a lot of messed up dark things happening and they might but for me the only truly twisted thing about this book is that it has an actual ENDING.
Seriously when I read Taken ( book 1 of the dark legacy duet ) my mind was having a really hard time coping with the plot and the direction the book was taking.
Because you see I am no stranger to dark stories but this one made my eyes pop and heart stop and once I got to the end I understood something that my mind already knew and that is how much of a talent Natasha Knight truly is!
It doesn’t matter what kind of a book she writes, what she creates is in a way larger than life because it draws you in and keeps you hooked long after you finish the book.
I needed this book, to be honest I might have begged for it because I wanted to know which path Gregory Scaffoni took, where did he disappear to, what made his leave so abruptly.
And a true writer listens to the fans and gives them what they want and need.
I will not write an essay about so many factors of this story that make it great because you will have to read it for yourself to feel the true experience of it.
I loved every word of it and couldn’t have asked for anything more.
All the missing pieces fell into place and the puzzle was complete.
The conclusion of Gregory’s story was just how I imagined it and my heart loved it.
This book AND Taken + Torn are an absolute must reads and I strongly recommend them.
You will not regret a single second spent reading them.
Wow! Where do I even begin with how completely incredible this book is. After reading Taken and Torn, I was hoping there would be a story about Gregory, Sebastian’s brother. His character was so intriguing that he needed his own book. The story of Gregory and Amelia will entrap you from the very first sentence. I literally couldn’t put this book down and read it in one sitting. There are so many facets to these two characters that mere words cannot describe. But one thing is very clear, they are both people with dark, torn pasts who mesh so unbelievably well. Not to mention the combustible chemistry between them. This story will hold your heart hostage and your emotions will be all over the place. Please do yourself a favor and read Taken, then Torn and then the ultimate Twisted!
I can’t say I loved Gregory in Taken and Torn, the duet that precedes this book, but by the end of Torn, I knew I wanted him to have his own Willow Girl, just as he did. He found her in Amelia, Helena’s sister. Once again, their tale is one shrouded in darkness and secrets, in assumptions and lies. I was entranced with their story, though their path to finding their own version of happiness was paved with dark pain and misgivings. I’m still curious about Lucinda and Ethan, and I wonder if we’ve seen the last of Stefan. But this book gave us so much more insight into Gregory the man, the monster, and the angel, and he’s wormed his way into my heart too!
After reading Taken and Torn (The Dark Legacy Duet) and seeing Sebastian and Helena’s hard-fought HEA. I couldn’t help but wonder….whatever became of Gregory Scafoni, the man who seemed to be even MORE damaged, if that’s even possible, than his older brother? We have the answer to that question, and many more, in the extremely aptly-named Twisted!!! All I can say is, things are NEVER as they appear to be in a Natasha Knight tale! This one had my head and my heart spinning in all the BEST ways!
When last we heard from him, Gregory had helped put an end to the UNBELIEVABLY dark and intriguing Scafoni/Willow legacy…and left the island a broken, lonely, very angry man. Helena had sensed all that Gregory hid beneath the cruel, hard facade and we learn EXACTLY what he’s made of in this surprisingly EMOTIONAL love story between two people who seem to be very different but in reality are so very much alike! Amelia Willow is Gregory’s soul mate in sooooo many ways and the way their story unfolds was truly gripping and deeply satisfying! The roller coaster ride to the exiting and soul-satisfying conclusion was EPIC and the intense emotions will stay with me for a long, long time! I think a part of my heart will forever belong to Gregory Scafoni and I’m okay with that!
I’d like to mention too, that even though Twisted CAN be read as a standalone I would STRONGLY urge you to read Taken and Torn first in order to get the entire AWEMAZING experience that reading these novels will give you!
I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.
My brother was right. I have always wanted my own Willow Gir. What happened on that island didn’t break me. It twisted me. Corrupted me. Made me into a monster. Twisted is a spin off from Natasha Knight’s The Dark Legacy Duet. It says you can read Twisted as a standalone, but I feel like if I hadn’t read Taken and Torn first I would have been kind of lost. Things are talked about in Twisted that happened in Taken and Torn and you see those character’s at some points in this book. Plus I feel like it would help you to understand the Willow Girls legacy. Or I assume that is what you would call it. More like a curse I guess though now that I think about it. This is the story of Gregory and what has been happening to him since he has left the island and boy oh boy is he a damaged man. However with that said I so really liked Gregory. We also see Amelia who is Helena’s sister and a Willow Girl who has been suffering since the night Helena was picked. She draws that night and can not get it out of her head. She has certain feelings about it and has no idea how to process that. She knows she is being watched and she is about to come face to face with the man doing it. Gregory has come for her but he doesn’t know that she is about to be taken by someone else who misled her. This is the beginning of quiet the journey for these two and I loved taking it with them. I loved getting to see both of them open up and grow and I loved how they were together eventually. This is such a great book. It is dark and gritty and everything that you love about a Nathasha Knight book. You do not want to miss this one or Taken and Torn for that matter. I have devoured all these books and can not recommend them highly enough.
I couldn’t wait to get my hands of Gregory’s story.
You first meet Gregory in Taken and Torn. He was a dark lost soul. And I wanted to know more. What made him tick. He wanted his own Willow Girl. And he took what he wanted. But Gregory got more then he bargained for when it came to Amelia. He met his match when it came to Amelia.
Gregory was not what I was expecting and neither was this story. I am hoping we will get more from these characters and this story.
This was everything and so much more as we finally get to hear from Gregory Scafoni and his thoughts and actions as he battles with himself over that one fateful night on the island and decides to fixate on Amelia Willow his own willow girl both with the same obsession which I thought was so different and very very interesting and I loved the house. Their story is very intense and will keep you on your toes as they find out about each other and their secrets which kept me glued to the pages never a dull moment and lets not forget the heat they bring. I couldn’t ask for more it was perfect
All he wanted was his own Willow girl like Sebastian.
He didn’t want to wait his turn, he wanted and needed her now.
He sees and recognises the darkness within her. Her meekness cast aside when she left the family home.
She’s a walking virgin with a price on her head.
Two contenders to corrupt her innocence. One she sees everywhere the other who gave her a home.
Can the dark prince turn into a white knight?
This book is a must read if you have read the duet taken and torn.
Gregory was the third wheel in the duet and now is his time to shine. The spotlight is his!
He is darkness who walks amongst us, he is the monster who invades your thoughts. He is the one you won’t ever forget!
Amelia is the unchosen, who can’t forget, won’t forget and constantly revisits that night both awake and asleep.
Two amazing characters born of the light but descended into darkness through the actions of others.
Natasha always amazes me with her books. Just as I think she can’t get any better she goes and blows my mind with her next book and she most certainly did with this!
Another captivating read that seduced my soul, and sated my hunger for darkness.
A must read for 2019!!!
