Ryan and Ruby find more clues that lead to more questions. They are also discovering things about themselves that shock and bewilder them. Amidst all of this they are also find a solid footing for their budding relationship, but not without a little grief from each other. Daddy’s are never who we believe them to be and not everything you think you know is right. I can’t wait to get into Unraveled to finally see who is who, what is what and who will win all the day. I am rooting for the Steel brothers, their sister and the women they love.
Don’t know where to start. Ryan can’t get over the fact Wendy is his mother. Ruby thinks that her dad is wanting to be caught by her. They both love each but can’t really express it very well. During a love making session Ryan had asked Ruby to marry him, but then Ruby had felt like she was losing herself when she was around Ryan and they were having sex. Then Ruby gotten a tip not to go to her apartment. Ryan had booked her a Hotel room for the week. At that very hotel Ruby’s dad had came to see her and lead her to couple of floors up. When Ryan had gotten back to the room Ruby was nowhere to found. He became very worried for her. Ruby’s dad had told her where she could find The Steel’s father. So, Ruby and the Steel’s had decided to go back to Jamaica to see if they could find Bradford Steel. It also seem that if someone was died and nobody seen the body than it was possible that person could still be alive. Can’t wait to see what comes next.
Love the series…I want a Steel brother
Twisted (Steel Brothers Saga, #8) was another great read by Helen Hardt. Ryan just found out a secret that has changed everything for him. He doesn’t have anyone that he fully trusts anymore, even Ruby and his siblings. Ruby is in love with Ryan, even if he is upset with her. Ruby is determined to find the answers they’re looking for. I really enjoyed this book and can’t wait to read more by Helen Hardt.
The more I read this series, the more I want!
Ryan has recently learned some devastating news and is having a difficult time dealing with it. Ruby, his love interest, has her own “daddy” issues, but wants desperately to help him.
And Ryan, like his brothers, also has another side that is so…dark and hot.
I have been reading this series from books one!
* NOTE: You CANNOT read this book as a standalone….
I love the plot that all of these books have. Each book focuses on a different Steel brother and their other half. BUT, don’t get their love story confused for the overall story here. Helen Hardt has brilliantly made a story so full of twisty details that you need to pay attention. If you don’t it will come and bit you in the ass later! But even if you are paying attention to the details, her story telling with the Steel Brothers will bit you in the ass!!
Helen Hardt has to be one of the more brilliant authors out there right now. I can only imagine what her office wall looks like when plotting out this series. I want to see it so that I know the end!!! But, I don’t because I want to be taken on the journey.
I can’t give away anything with this series. It simply has to be experienced! She continues to add more books to this series, and I continue to devour them!! Please Helen, please don’t stop!! (Or secretly tell me the ending… Shhh… I won’t tell anyone.)
Stop what you are reading and start reading the Steel Brothers series!! You will thank me!
Love it
Wonderfully written characters, that just draw you in. Helen Hardt is an amazing author like Ernest Hemingway she find a way make you see it and feel it! She is also great with her fans!
Ryan Steel has just found out a huge secret. It’s caused him to run off in his beloved Porsche so he can think (and rant and rave in his mind) and his Porsche ends up in not such great condition. Thank God Ryan isn’t killed during his freak-out. But now he’s back and looking for more answers about his family, about the woman he loves. Can he trust her any longer? Can he tell her how he feels about her?
Ruby’s having family issues, too, though, thanks to her evil father. He makes a lot of appearances in Twisted, answers some questions that have been raised, and proposes even more that will hopefully be answered in the next book.
There are more revelations, but honestly, not a whole lot happens in this installment of the Steel family journey. That’s why the 3 instead of 4 stars. It’s still well-written, though, and Ryan and Ruby are still a pretty great couple. Twisted is kind of short, though, and Ruby and Ryan aren’t together enough in it to satisfy me. Of course there’s yet another cliffhanger, but I’ve looked ahead and found out that the next book in their journey is their last book. Not sure if it’s the last in the series, but it is the last in Ryan and Ruby’s story.
Ruby and Ryan are finding themselves further surrounded by the secrets and lies that plague their families but they finding some solace in one another. Ruby cannot help but feel responsible for letting her monster of father continue to roam free. The damage he has wreaked is mind numbing and she is determined to put a stop to it and him. The more she digs into this mystery the further unglued he seems to become, but it’s not helping to piece together any other needed pieces to bring him to justice. Ryan’s world was turned on its axis with the latest in a long line of bombshells dropped on the Steels’ doorsteps. With his identity in crisis the one sure thing he has is Ruby, who if nothing else, is steadfast in her devotion to him. So much left to know but with when what’s already been uncovered shocking them so soundly do they want to keep searching?
Well, I need to talk about author, Helen Hardt. She has just blown my mind! I received “Craving” for free and it was fantastic, so I bought the remaining 8 books in the Steele Brothers Series. Then, I bought all 9 audiobooks because I love to listen to the voices. The narrators were perfect! The storyline was amazing; not what I was expecting at all. I love how a male narrator and female narrator took turns, back and forth. Each book tells part of the overall story, and it will keep you reading/listening till the end. No laggy parts. I highly recommend this brilliant series!
Theodore Mathias seems to be everywhere or at least has eyes and ears everywhere. Neither Ruby nor the Steels seemed to be able to make a move without Mathias knowing. He continues to stay one step ahead regardless. Ryan reels from the new found knowledge of his parentage. Ryan’s mother insists that his father is not dead. His uncle continues to speak in riddles. Nothing is as it seems.
The only real thing is the love that Ryan and Ruby share but will that be enough to sustain them.
I am absolutely mesmerized by this series. It’s edge of your seat, page turning, can’t put it down entertainment!
Twisted continues the story of the Steel brothers with Ryan Steel.
Ryan is uncovering more secrets through this book that make him question who he can and cannot trust. I believe Helen did a wonderful job in titling this book. It’s not twisted in ways that you think but everything that you thought you knew will be twisted in some way through this book.
After finding out about his parentage and the fact that not only did his siblings help to prove it (or in their case hope it wasn’t true) but so did the woman he is seeing Ruby. Will he be able to forgive them for their part in all of it?
Ruby.. She’s strong, independent, and a great cop. But when she’s with Ryan everything else fades away and it scares her. But will Ryan ever be able to trust her again to be able to see if they could be more?
This book (like the others) will have your heart pounding. Helen once again delivers a well crafted brilliant read that you won’t be able to put down.
Love this whole series. It must be read from the beginning. Can’t wait for the net one.
This series has been exciting to read. Can’t wait for the final installment!
Absolutely beautiful characters. Love her writhing style.
Twisted left me twisted! Helen Hardt has seriously twisted my mind with this Steel Brothers Series. Ryan is dealing with his twisted family past. He has his love Ruby which also has her twisted family past. There are other clues to the mystery revealed in Twisted that leaves you mind blowing! I want more Steels love reading about them. Once again Helen done it, and I’m sure she will blow us away with grand finale of this amazing series! If you have never read any of these books, start with book 1 it will leave you wanting more!
