Fun. Flirty. And no follow through. FINN O’MEARA has a slick one-liner for every occasion and loves to talk a big game. Tending bar at McBride’s Public House gives him plenty of opportunities to meet the ladies—to take them home and show them a good time. He’s so talented with his tongue, they don’t seem to mind that he never takes it past third base. ADELAIDE HUNTINGTON is infinitely more … infinitely more comfortable with her PC than her peers. She prefers to work from the comfort of her overstuffed chair doing what she loves: graphic and web design. Only occasionally hanging out with her surrogate grandmas until an infuriating, silver tongued man charms his way in.
While he’s trying hard to prove there’s more to him than cheesy pick-up lines, Adelaide uncovers another layer to Finn.
A twist that no one would ever imagine.
Set in the same world as Troubles, this novella follows the story of Finn and Adelaide and can be enjoyed fully as a stand alone

Finn ‘s book was everything I thought it would be and more. Finn meets Addy , Addy blows him off . Finn make is his mission to get Addy to date him. Finn had me laughing out loud with some of the things that was spoken from his mouth. I thought Addy and Finn made a great couple.
Ohhhhh Finn! Not gonna lie. I did not like Finn during the early part of this book! I did love Adelaide “Don’t call me Addie” though. Love her spunk and her sass and her smart-assy-ness.
Y’all won’t be sorry if you dive into this sweet and sassy little romance novel. Their banter is so much fun and the little pick up lines at the start of each chapter made me laugh out loud.
And the title is *perfect*! Didn’t see that coming.
I’m so happy Finn got his own story!
Read this book again (I forgot that I already read it) Anyway the story was as cute as can be
Finn O’Meara is one sexy and flirty Irishman. He loves tending bar at McBride’s, especially since it gives him his pick of beautiful woman to take home each night. He always shows them a good time, even if he never rounds third base.
Adelaide Huntington doesn’t do people. She’s much more comfortable hanging out at home with her laptop and pup, Eric. When she meets a new client at McBride’s, Finn is immediately taken with her gorgeous and unique look as well as the fact that she doesn’t immediately fall at his feet. He needs to have her, but she isn’t falling for his charms.
When Finn appears in the computer class she teaches and starts winning over the older ladies who attend that she thinks of as her surrogate grandma’s, Adelaide isn’t sure how to handle her feelings for the silver tongued flirt. When he enlists the ladies to help him win Adelaide over, all bets are off!
Adelaide soon discovers there is more to Finn than she could have imagined . .. and a twist she never saw coming!
I thought twist was a really cute and fun read. Finn and Adelaide could not be more opposite in personality, yet they are clearly attracted to one another. Their back and forth banter is the basis for the story and it’s both fun and flirty.
The more they got to know one another, the more I rooted for them to get past the superficial flirting to something deeper. I loved that Finn cared enough to really try to win Adelaide over . . . even enlisting the older ladies who attend her class for help and advice. The grand gesture they help him pull off is worth reading the book for! 4 stars for this fun and easy read.
I fell in love with Finn when I read Troubles so when I found out he was getting his own book, I may have done an out-loud squeal of joy. He’s quick with the one-liners and I found myself laughing so much that I could barely read the screen. A guy like Finn needs a take-no-crap, I’m completely unimpressed lady and he 100% got that with Adelaide. She’s a total boss and I couldn’t get enough.
Finn is a surprise all around and I’m completely smitten!!
Wonderful story!! 10+ stars! This is a quirky tale with a sweet, sexy & surprising hero. Finn is such a charmer – but his usual charm doesn’t sway Adelaide (don’t call me Addie). She’s snarky & smart & won’t let him get to her. But then she discovers, like we do, the sweetness in his #Finnisms, and he wiggles his way into her cold, dead heart. *grin* AND there are some surprises along the way.
I absolutely adore these characters, the writing style & the pacing in this quick, enjoyable read!
Thumbs up! 🙂
