The characters were well done, even the babies.
The pacing of the mystery was good.
The romance… They don’t want to fall in love, but how can you not? Mixed in with the insecurity and defensiveness there’s strength, courage, and protectiveness… come from both them main characters.
A good, clean, relaxing, fun book.
Outstanding great read. It is certainly worth reading. You’ll enjoy this book very much. This book should be at the top of your list. Not every man will fall for the “whole” family. Loved they way they worked together, became friends, and built a relationship.

I loved this book.
Excellent characters and plot, page turner!!!
This was a great story that kept ones interest, probably predictable, but a book that one does not want to put down.
I certainly will read more writings by this author.
loved the fainting goat part, Had to google to see if there really is such a thing.
A really great series of books. I have enjoyed them all so farThank you
Linda Goodnight has written another good tale! Loved how much Whitney, a single mom with twins wanted to stand on her own two feet and make a go of it in her new life on a farm/ranch.
I loved everything about this book! The characters were wonderful and believable. The small town atmosphere realistic, the devotion between the many townspeople, family members, etc., was heartwarming. Truly a feel-good book!

Dallas and the Cowboy
4 stars
Ironic, poignant, and heartwarming depicting the true meaning of Christian love and family despite all its dysfunction. Popular radio host Dallas’ life is turned upside down when she is fired after a irate boyfriend commits suicide ; she discovers her long lost Caldwell siblings; and she meets Sheriff Lawson Hawk and his teenage niece Madison.
Good, clean light romance. Strong main characters and family values throughout.
Inheritance
This a wonderful story. Whitney inherited a small ranch from a distant relative. The only stipulation was she has to live there a year & keep the animals alive. It was a great thing for a her teen little girls. But someone is causing prognosis. Nate’s ranch is next door. And stops to help her one day. Which he ends up teaching her how to take care of the animals. Have 2 little girls wiggled their way into the cowboys heart.
I thought how the main character got the farm and different parts of it made you wonder how things were going to happen. Cute and sweet story over all.
This book was an enjoyable read. The H/h were so enjoyable and true to themselves. The ending was a happy ever after with a little surprise. A clean book I would recommend to anyone.
