I won a copy of this book from Joanne Rock, I was not required to give a favorable review. There were to wonderful stories in this book. I hadn’t read any of Sarah before but looking forward to reading more of her writing. Her story was a true Cinderella type story. Sofia & Eric knew each growing up since her parents worked for his, but they never tried each other any different. Now they are both grown up and her parents were into real estate which Sofia also and was having a hard time since losing her husband before her twins were born. She applies for a office managers job at Eric business and they are working together and find they care for each other. Joanne’s book was another wonderful book from her. Josie come from money but because of it she is trying to put a new life together without that influence. Keith is also been lucky and is running is own business. They end up meeting on his brother’s boat when she got on the wrong boat at the marina. They end up finding out that they like each other even with new things coming.
“Twins for the Billionaire” by Sarah M. Anderson is enticing and charming.
Eric Jenner is swoon-worthy and endearing. He’s hero perfection. He wants a family and when his childhood friend comes back into his life, he wants a family with her.
Sofia Bingham is the epitome of a single mother struggling to care for her twins (who are adorable!) while putting her needs last. After being widowed, she needs a reliable job and Eric is hiring.
Eric and Sofia become friends again, then friends-with-benefits, but all the while Sofia feels like a fish out of water in Eric’s billionaire world even when he tells her they belong together.
Eric and Sofia are realistically written (even with Eric being so wealthy) and you can’t help but pull for them to be happy together. Once they do find their HEA, you’re smiling and laughing along with them.
The dialogue in this story is spot-on and matches Eric and Sofia’s personality to a tee. There are funny moments, serious moments, and oh-yeah sexy moments.
In “Twins for the Billionaire”, Ms. Anderson has penned a heart-squeezing and blushingly hot story that will surely make you want to read (and buy) more of her books.
Eric Jenner is a billionaire who has it all, except the most important thing of all, a wife and family. He’s seen his friends settle down and start families, but when you’re one of the most eligible bachelors in the country, it’s hard to find someone who appreciates you for who you really are, not some billionaire image. When Sofia Bingham comes back into his life, he impulsively hires her, if for no other reason than to help out an old friend. But they immediately feel a connection, and Eric can’t help hoping they can be more than friends.
Sofia is barely holding herself and her family together, as she tries to raise her toddler twins after the death of her husband. She has help from her parents, but she desperately needs a job to support herself and to begin the business of living again. Sofia doesn’t know if she’s qualified to be an office manager for one of the country’s top land developers, but she’s determined to try, and she hopes Eric Jenner will give her a chance. While she was happily married and is now completely devoted to her children, she can’t help but remember the one kiss she and Eric shared. She’s not quite prepared for her growing feelings for Eric and can’t even let herself think of living in his world.
There was plenty of sizzling romance in this story, with the anticipation only adding to the satisfaction when Eric and Sofia finally let go of their worries and had a little fun. However, it also felt like real life as Sofia dealt with her depression and anxiety and Eric expressed his longing for children. There were parts of the story that felt a little like Sabrina or Pretty Woman, but the story definitely had its own twists and turns on the way to Eric and Sofia’s happily ever after.
