Bella Swan’s move to Forks, a small, perpetually rainy town in Washington, could have been the most boring move she ever made. But once she meets the mysterious and alluring Edward Cullen, Bella’s life takes a thrilling and terrifying turn. Up until now, Edward has managed to keep his vampire identity a secret in the small community he lives in, but now nobody is safe, especially Bella, the … person Edward holds most dear.
Deeply romantic and extraordinarily suspenseful, Twilight captures the struggle between defying our instincts and satisfying our desires. This is a love story with bite.

Read it book in the series before seeing the movie. One of my favorites.
Guilty pleasure for sure, love the saga as a whole. New moon takes a bit to get through but the last two books make up for it. Love the ‘supporting cast’ of vamps much more then the two mains.
Love the Twilight series. But you must start with the first one.
Much better than the movies!
Recommended if you are looking for a romance novel. If you are not and are forced to read it, it’s good if you focus on the powers
This whole series is on my top 10 list
It was hard to put this book down. When I first read the series, I couldn’t wait to read what was going to happen next. They are much better than the movies.
I never understood what the fuss was about with this book/movie, until I finally caved in and rented the movie. The next day I had all 4 ebooks. Best book ever!
Buffy copy
Eh, if you like sparkling vampires this is your type of book
I love all books but I often find books for a younger generations so magical and well written enough to keep young and older minds on the edge. Loved the entire series and have re-read it several times.. I almost always enjoy the book better than the movie. Loved the movie but oh how delicious these books were.
The most Entertaining book I had EVER read up to that point in my LIFE. (I read between 4-12 books per week on average.) it caught the imagination of the entire literary world & heavily inspired & informed the Urban Fiction trend for a reason.
It’s emotionally evocative & just fun.
People have mocked, mostly people who’ve seen the movies (such a …
I’m writing this review probably 12 years after I first read the series, we all know there is a lot of hate revolving this series simply due to the fact that it became as popular as it did. For me, this book has withstood the test of time as one of my favorite, most memorable romance novels.
The relationship between Bella and Edward is quiet, …
The story was captivating, but the actual written could use some help. Like everyone else I was really into this a few years back but the story went a little too long and by the final book I thought it went way into left field
I really liked this series! I could not get enough of Edward and Bella. Cannot wait to read the rest of the series
My favorite of all the Twilight books!
I really enjoyed this book when it first came out and I read it and eventually the entire series. But I don’t feel this one aged well unfortunately. There have been too many other vampire/ warewolf spin-offs to pop up after this one that it feels cheesy now which is kind of sad because I really did like this series when it first came out. Oh and …
The read the entire series and loved them. I only wish that she would continue the series. The last book left us with a whole new adventure to follow.
Really don’t like the message for young women that love is all that matters and should be pursued at all costs.
Despite the literarily rigid caste of novels I stuck to in my formative years, I so very much get why pulp appeals. And this series falls in the category of pulp that was over maligned imho. If you have time, watch this critic’s apology for all the viciousness unfairly spewed Stephanie Meyer’s way: https://youtu.be/8O06tMbIKh0
