Come back to Blossom Street! Join #1 New York Times bestselling author Debbie Macomber for this hopeful story of enduring friendship and starting over. What do you want most in the world? What Anne Marie Roche wants is to find happiness again. At thirty-eight, she’s childless, a recent widow. She owns a successful bookstore on Seattle’s Blossom Street, but despite her accomplishments, there’s a … there’s a feeling of emptiness.
On Valentine’s Day, Anne Marie and several other widows get together to celebrate…a sense of hope. They each begin a list of twenty wishes–including things they’d always wanted to do but never did.
Some of the items on Anne Marie’s list: learning to knit, falling in love again, doing good for someone else. When she volunteers at a local school, an eight-year-old girl named Ellen enters her life. It’s a relationship that becomes far more involving–and far more important–than Anne Marie had ever imagined.
As Ellen helps Anne Marie complete her list, they both learn that wishes can come true…but not necessarily in the way you expect!

Debbie Macomber’s books are always a welcome escape for me. Twenty Wishes was a brilliant, beautiful story that had me laughing and crying and cheering for the happy ending. You’ll love it, too.
Welcome back to the street and the characters we have all come to love. A great idea of twenty wishes and the addition of a wonderful new character.

Fun read
Inspirational story with a number of happy endings!
Part of a wonderful series of Debbie Macomber’s many.
Someone once said, “The book you need, will find you.” Twenty Wishes found me, while in the midst of the Covid Crisis. This heart warming story inspired me to make my own list. Any easy, lite, read sure to lift your spirts.
I really enjoyed this book. I found the main character and her friends relatable and good company. I enjoyed watching them grow and change. I enjoy happy endings, particularly ones the characters have worked for.
Could hardly stop reading I liked every thing about the book
I enjoyed it because it had a different theme and it was heart warming. Very fast read.
The author always enchants & urges one to read more of her books. Can’t say enough about this Twenty Wishes & now thinking about making my own list. Great idea for a book club or ladies group to garner conversation & delving into other’s thought & “wishes,”
Read this book in one setting. It was both sad and encouraging. Great read with very real characters.
Such a wonderful story of friendship, family, and unconditional love. I loved this book!
Loved this book!
The book had great characters plus the story was great. I highly recommend this book.
Good read, it kept my imagination and interest. Romantic and funny. Good ending.
I love books where the heroine/main character are over the age of forty.
Sweet beach read.
Light, enjoyable reading. Nice story. With the coronavirus, racism and incomprehensible “leadership” of our country, I’m finding I read more for entertainment and escape than I normally do. I loved spending time with the characters in this book!
