Come back to Blossom Street! Join #1 New York Times bestselling author Debbie Macomber for this hopeful story of enduring friendship and starting over. What do you want most in the world? What Anne Marie Roche wants is to find happiness again. At thirty-eight, she’s childless, a recent widow. She owns a successful bookstore on Seattle’s Blossom Street, but despite her accomplishments, there’s a … there’s a feeling of emptiness.
On Valentine’s Day, Anne Marie and several other widows get together to celebrate…a sense of hope. They each begin a list of twenty wishes–including things they’d always wanted to do but never did.
Some of the items on Anne Marie’s list: learning to knit, falling in love again, doing good for someone else. When she volunteers at a local school, an eight-year-old girl named Ellen enters her life. It’s a relationship that becomes far more involving–and far more important–than Anne Marie had ever imagined.
As Ellen helps Anne Marie complete her list, they both learn that wishes can come true…but not necessarily in the way you expect!

Great book. You will want to make your list after you read!
Three widows begin a list of twenty wishes they would like to accomplish. Two of them fall in love and the other one forms a relationship with a young girl. The characters are delightful and this is a good read.
Really enjoyed this book. It’s nice to read about women rediscovering their lives after tragedy. Sweet and honest characters.
Finished this book last night and it kept me up til three am, because I just had to finish it! This author developed a compelling story of 4 widows each coping with their grief uniquely. They met in a group once a week, and the idea for a project came up that led them all to open up their lives, to even things they thought they had never really wished for. The characters were relatable, deep, and very thoughtfully each woven through the story magically. Even though for some of them, widowhood had been sudden and heart-breaking, the support from each other made this a compelling book to read. I wish men would read it as well, as widowers would benefit from this story as well!
Loved it, loved it, loved it!!! Recommended it to all my friends!
Good read. Keeps you interested throughout the book
Left me with a good feeling about life.
I loved reading about how wishing can change a life, a story and certainly an attitude.
Have read and have 20 Wishes in hard copy and wanted in Kindle for taking with me. As with all Debbie Macomber books this is a great book full of encouragement and setting goals, making plans and moving on after shattering experiences. One of my favorite of her many books.
Excellent read.
A great read specially for widows
Twenty Wishes is a great book of interesting characters and learning their stories is just a delight!
I love all of the books she has written!
I read this book a year or so ago. Having enjoyed Debbie Macomber’s books for years, I didn’t hesitate to read this one. The storyline was quite unique; I also like fibre arts so could envision myself being in a knitter’s circle. Some of the wishes revealed were quite heartwarming. It was a surprised given that the ladies came from different economic/financial backgrounds yet that didn’t seem to effect the wishes they wrote down.
It was like meeting a new bunch of friends and finding out how neat they really were.
Love all Debbie’s books.
