Fighting fires keeps me focused on the present and not the past.My days in the military haunt the fuck out of me, waking me up late in the night, causing my world to spin in vicious cycles. But it’s under control, or so I thought. The guys are noticing something is up with me.All I want is peace. But that shit evades me.And then everything changes. Because of her. She’s the cure to my pain and … of her.
She’s the cure to my pain and doesn’t know it.
Love was the last thing on my mind, but it won’t relent because of this sweet woman.
I don’t deserve her, but she doesn’t care.
It’s time to forget my burdens and turn up the heat.

Weston Parker’s Turn Up The Heat was a fantastic 3rd installment to the Searing Saviors series. Allen is a firefighter who is plagued with nightmares borne of guilt and pain from his time in the Marines. Brea is an art gallery owner who is angered when a pipe connected by the firehouse and her gallery bursts. I have read a few of Weston Parker’s other books and this one doesn’t disappoint. Turn Up The Heat is raw, emotional, passionate, and heartfelt. I absolutely loved this new novel and I can’t wait for the next book in the series.
Another scorching story involving two great characters, Brea and firefighter Allen, expect some smouldering scenes.
I received a copy and I am voluntarily leaving my own honest opinion
This was definitely my favorite one in this series! I was really looking forward to Allen’s story and was actually worried that I would be disappointed due to my high expectations. Well needless to say, Weston Parker never disappoints!
Allen’s story definitely delivered with likable characters, engaging storyline and high amount of steam and heat! Allen and Brea were just perfect couple and I loved everything about them! There was a bit of drama regarding Allen’s coping with his days in the military but it was quickly resolved. I gladly recommend this enjoyable read!
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
Allen is a firefighter, a former military man who served overseas and lost most of his team. The things he has endured have left him with triggers and sleepless nights. He meets Brea when her art gallery floods and ruins her shop. He is tasked with doing the repairs in an effort to try and keep her from going after the firehouse for the damages. This was a great read. Well written with wonderful characters and an engaging storyline. Allen and Brea had amazing chemistry and were likable characters. I really enjoyed this book and highly recommend it.

I am a HUGE Weston Parker fan! I’d have to check, but, I have to be pretty close to have read each of his books. This series has been great, and Allen and Brea’s story was wonderful. I was routing for Brea to help Allen with his PTSD issues. I read each page with fingers and toes crossed that these two would reach and grab their happily ever after! Heart-warming, characters, story, everything! Thank you!
Allen has been suffering from PTSD for the past five years. He is now I fireman and meets Brea when the pipes in the station burst and flood her business next-door. And their chemistry? Off the chain. Can Brea be with him even though he suffers from debilitating nightmares? Absolutely. Brea is determined to help Allen with his PTSD. A sweet love story.
Loving this series and these firefighter men. I have been impatiently waiting for Allen’s story. He and Brea are perfect for each other. They make a great couple. Have such good chemistry. I loved every page
He’s a former military soldier who has turned first responder and she owns an art gallery next to the fire station. When the fire station has a leak that also involves the art gallery, Allen has the task of repairing the gallery floors. He is captivated by the owner of the gallery but will his issues from the military get in the way of having a romantic connection with Brea? I voluntarily agreed to receive an ARC of this book for an honest review.
Oh how I am hooked on Allen lol! I have been waiting to see if quiet Allen would get his happily ever after and to find out what his story was. He is sweet, quiet and very kind. The past kept coming back to him and he tried to hide it away. Brea is feisty but also great to the people she cares about. Allen sees another side to Brea after he starts working on her floors after the flood. I loved these two together and how they brought out the best of each other. I really want to learn more about Mav as well. I feel like you start to see what he is like but I want more. I would love to read about him getting his own happily ever after!
A truly unique and emotion packed read
Brea, an art gallery owner, spews her anger at Allen, a firefighter and veteran, and his fellow firefighter when they come in to the gallery after a pipe burst at the fire station and flooded her shop with a good foot of water. As the story progresses views change, a relationship forms, and trying to keep the past buried could destroy everything. Weston Parker addresses a heavy topic in Turn Up the Heat in a way that does not detract from the reality of the situation that many face, while still providing the reader the steamy bad boy romance he is known for. This was a truly unique and emotion packed read about the third member of the Seating Fire Department finding love. I have to wonder if he has any of the remaining single members in his sights to tackle next.
I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.
So if you’ve read the other books in this series then you know that firefighter Allen has some demons to overcome and hearing his story makes it so worth the wait. We find out that when her left the service he was still on the ropes about how he was going to welcome civil life. An accident changes all that. Brea is this shop owner who thinks that the firefighters next door are the worst thing every until water floods it and she’s happily forced to spend her time with Allen. They find their way through this dilmenia and love happens. I absolutely loved how this one gave us everything and so much more. Excellent read! I give it 5 stars. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book as an Advanced Reader’s Copy.
Give me a hero in uniform and I’m a happy reader. Allen is both former military and a first responder so that makes me extra happy to finally read his story. It’s always the quiet ones that surprise you the most. Make you forget that there could be some very deep waters churning below the very stoic mask. I think from the very first book, I was already prepared to love Allen unconditionally. Brea took me a little while to warm up to her. The way she treated the firefighters who were trying to help her made it tough for me to like her and, for a moment, I doubted that she would be a good match to Allen. I am so happy to report that my fears were unfounded. Brea’s just as complex and prickly as he is, and in the end their strengths and vulnerabilities dovetail nicely with one another.
I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book from the author.
