Tumble is my first Adriana Locke story and it won’t be the last. Very solid story with great character development and a second-chance romance plot. Certainly not new but well done. I adored the interactions between Neely and Mia. Definitely looking forward to reading more of this series!
I was so excited to read this book since it’s the start of another wonderful, engaging series from this author! As with her other series, there are wonderful, well-developed, interesting, hilarious secondary characters that I hope to meet in future books, but the real bones of this plot come from the two main characters–Dane and Neely. This is the same type of contemporary romance we’ve come to expect and love from Adriana Locke–sexy & sweet, adorable & hot, happy & angsty — everything that makes a contemporary rom-com an enjoyable read. You will want to visit Dogwood Lane and immerse yourself in these characters and the small, hometown feel that makes these books so enjoyable. Can’t wait to read Dogwood Lane #2! I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC for NetGalley.
After walking away from her dream job for very good reasons, Neely finds herself going home to regroup. What she does not expect or want is a run in with her old flame, Dane, who ended their relationship with an unplanned pregnancy with someone else. Can you find happiness in a place that held so much sorrow? Once again Adriana Locke takes her readers on an emotional journey with beautifully written characters that you cannot help but fall in love with. The depth of her characters and the baggage that they keep with them are so well written it feels like you walk in their shoes. 5 Stars are not enough!!
Dane and Neely are swoony! This second chance romance has so many feels. Each think they should stay away from the other to stave off future heartbreak, but they are drawn back together over and over. With a bit of help from the whole community, who know that Dane and Neely belong together, they manage to let themselves experience the love that never really went away. Another great romance from Adriana Locke!
Tumble is a heartfelt small town, second chance at love story. I like the way this author pens her stories, it hard to put down once you start reading it. I liked the family feel, and it proves that there’s no place like home. The characters Dane and Neely were likeable, and so right for eachother. You could feel their emotions. I’m looking forward to reading the next book in the Dogwood Lane Series.
Adriana Locke knows how to write a small town, second chance romance like no other! Tumble checked off a ton of my favorite things….a single dad, a strong-willed woman, great friends, a fantastic storyline, family and most importantly the fact you can always go home <3
I live for a good second chance romance and Tumble did not disappoint. Neely and Dane were Dogwood Lane’s all-American couple who had a falling out of epic proportions ten years ago and haven’t seen each other since. You know that feeling when you were a teenager and the boy you liked talked to you? Do you know the feeling of being in love with your best friend and looking forward to forever? The anger and frustration of a relationship gone in an instant. All of these things had me clutching my Kindle to my chest to try to ease the emotions that were spilling over while reading this book.
For me, the best part of the entire story was the slow build of Dane & Neely’s relationship. There was no jumping right back into a relationship where they left off. There was no make-believing they waited around for each other for ten years. There was nothing but truth and honesty and I found that very refreshing!
Neely, Dane and his daughter brought emotion, love, laughs and everything you need for a second chance romance. I enjoyed Tumble and cannot wait to see what comes next in Dogwood Lane!
With Tumble (Dogwood Lane #1) Adriana Locke has cemented herself as one of my TOP FAVE authors in small-town romance! This is the EPIC second-chance love story of Neely Kimber and Dane Madden, chock full of alllllll the FEELS, ANGST and SWOON I’ve come to expect from her!
Neely returns to Dogwood Lane to visit and re-group after her unfortunate loss of her dream job as a sports journalist goes up in smoke, only to run straight into her ex, Dane. The reasons for their break-up are raw and extremely hard to swallow. Having said that, I applaud Ms. Locke for how she handled the whole situation because it felt COMPLETELY honest and HEART-BREAKINGLY REAL!!!
I fell in love with all the main characters in this one, especially the endearing, heart-stealing Mia! All the secondary characters were exceptional, as well. The heat and chemistry between Neely and Dane is addictive and I loved how they worked through and overcame some very difficult circumstances that are very true-to-life!
I can’t WAIT for more of this series! Bravo Adriana!!!
The only thing I love more than second chance romance is a great read with cute kids in them. Well this has both. A wonderful second chance book with great characters. Neely and Dane were high school sweethearts and totally meant for each other. After a bad breakup Neely heads off to college and to start her life. Years later and she’s back to the small town and the man she never forgot.
Y’all this is wonderful, these characters will have you immediately falling in love with them and on top of it all there is a adorable nine year old who will have you smiling and will steal your heart. The author did a fantastic job pulling you in and giving us a fabulous story. I really enjoyed it.

Tumble is a wonderful small town second chance romance that will give you all the feels !
Neely and Dane were Dogwood Lanes small town sweethearts but not all love affairs have a happy ending ….or could they! Neely had her heart broken and took it to the big city to make it as a journalist and let time heal her wounds. She now finds herself in the last place she ever wanted to be but there has to be a reason.
Dane knows that he was young as oh so stupid but now is the time to man up and prove that this single dad is worth the second chance!
Neely and Dane were so great together !

“Neely isn’t someone I can gamble with. There’s no kissing and forgetting. There’s only wanting more. Needing more. Desiring more. And not being able to have it.”
Small town second chance romance at its very best!! Rife with emotion, regrets, and a relationship meant to hold on to. I cheered Neely and Dane from the gate, even when I discovered the backstory. The things you do when you’re young often leave lasting effects, and nothing was truer in this case. 11 years later, they are thrown together again, and the attraction was magnetic, intoxicating, and swept through me like a warm summer breeze. Filled to the brim with enjoyable, often hysterical secondary characters that I’m dying to meet in their own books, this story was just magic. The romance, the angst, the changes that occurred, and the end brought me to happy tears. I haven’t found an Author that can write a book like this as well as this Author and she will always be an automatic one-click for me! The giddy feeling and huge grin on my face lasted well after reading the end!! An absolute must read!! I thank the Author and Netgalley for providing a copy to review.

Grab the Ben and Jerry’s, a glass of wine and a box of tissues and settle in for a sweet second chance romance
Neely has returned home for a breather while she gets her “life plan” back on track.
It’s been a decade since she left home. She is no longer that wide-eyed broken-hearted teen and while everything had changed not a whole lot is truly different. That includes her first love, her first heartache her first – everything.
When Dane sees his childhood love he also sees a second chance – A chance to right the wrongs of a young man who did all the wrong things at all the right times leaving behind him a wake of damage he might finally get the chance to fix.
Dane and Neely were “the” high school couple the whole town believed bound for marriage and babies and a HEA – that was until Dane betrayed Neely. Over a decade has passed but for Neely, the pain is still fresh. Can she find it in her to forgive Danes transgressions? Can she walk away from a life she dreamed of?
This was such a fun second chance romance. Lots of laughter and small-town drama blended with just a touch of angst.

What a beautiful start to a new series!
I’m a huge second chance fan and combine that with Adriana’s telling of their story, it was a very enjoying read. Their reconnection after years apart, building lives and making memories, but deep down inside their love for each other was never gone. I did have an issue with the way they parted years ago. Not a fan of that plot twist.
The introduction of the other characters really has me excited for more in the series.
The beginning of another hit series from Adriana Locke!!! The small town of Dogwood Lane, Tennessee will have you falling in love with it’s southern charm and the people who live there.
Neely Kimber left town almost 10 years ago for the big city of New York and now she’s back after quitting her job. Dane Madden holds a big part of Neely’s past and he hurt her in the worst way. Seeing him now, the hurt is still there, but so is the intense chemistry and feelings she thought she had gotten over. Dane and Neely have a lot to overcome. The pain and betrayal are heartbreaking. Dane doesn’t want to lose her again and will do everything he can to try to get Neely to stay this time.
A second chance romance that is heartbreaking and heartwarming at the same time. The supporting characters are awesome and I hope we get all their stories too!!
I love sexy single Dads and their second chance romance! Ms Locke delivers both beautifully in this wonderful start to her new Dogwood Lane series. This sweet and emotional story takes place in the small town of Dogwood Lane Tennessee. This tight knit community is filled with close friends and family who are fun, quirky, and totally supportive. The kind of place that draws you in and makes you feel right at home. Neely has worked hard to make a difference in her career, but has recently lost her way. So when Neely returns home from New York to recharge, after avoiding the town for over nine years, everyone is overjoyed, including the man who broke her heart. Dane made mistakes that changed their young lives forever, but he’s worked hard to make a new, stable life. He thought he was almost over the love of his life, but now that he sees her again, he starts to believe in second chances. Neither can ignore the pull their hearts have toward each other. Their chemistry reignites despite the pain they both feel from years of heartbreak. When the city calls Neely back, she needs to decide what is her true calling. I loved Neely and Dane, even tho I was disappointed at some of their choices. They are two stubborn, broken souls who fit perfectly back together. I love their friends and family who are authentic, funny, and not very subtle in their meddling. I am also a sucker for a great grand gesture, and this has an awesome one! I was totally engaged in this fun, sexy, and heartfelt romance and I can’t wait for more from Dogwood Lane!
Ahhhhhh all the feelings this book brings, I’m happy, in love, sad, angry, and frustrated, I cried, laughed, and swooned. The heartbreak, the pain, felt so real. Oh yeah this book totally packed with feelings and emotions, that hit me from the get go and since then I can’t stop until I reach the words THE END. Even though it’s a bit predictable, I still enjoying it nonetheless.
And the characters..ooooohhhhh I can’t not love all these amazing characters, the banter between all the characters is so superb that really warms my heart and make me want to move in to Dogwood Lane , each character has it’s own charms and I love each one of them.
This book is a mix between second chance romance and small town romance and with sexy single dad, feisty heroine, adorable little girl, and the camaraderie of family and friends, this one definitely a MUST-READ book for romance lovers.
Tumble is a fabulous, will melt your heart, single dad and second chance read. The little girl Mia is such a doll. You will fall for her instantly. Dane is so swoon worthy. Neely is a sweetheart. I love how even after all the years that have past that Dane and Neely have this connection that is everlasting. Neely is so sweet with Mia. Tumble is an amazing start to the Dogwood Lane series and stole my heart for this small town from the start. The love between Dane and Neely is amazing. I was brought to happy tears while reading this one. I can’t wait for the next one.
A small town, single dad, second chance Romance all together in the sweet wonderful book!! Adriana Locke is one of my favorite authors and she does not disappoint in Tumble!!
Dane and Neely haven’t seen each other in in almost a decade when he broke her heart. Neely comes back to Dogwood Lane, TN after quitting her job and is trying to figure life out. She runs into Dane her first day back and their journey begins for a second time!
This small town romance has wonderful characters filled with history, Dane’s daughter, Mia, who is just so lovable, and a love everyone dreams of! As Neely tries to find out what she really wants out of life and Dane opens up to how he feels about her- you just fall in love with them and this book! The small little details that Adriana Locke includes in this book keep me wanting more.
Emotionally charged.
Wow, this one is going to be hard to forget. Dogwood Lane is a new series- second chance romance at its finest!!!!!
Dane and Neely were a high school couple that were right for each other until they weren’t. Too much to drink, a decision that you couldn’t take back, 2 broken hearts and 10 years later you have Neely coming home for a few days.
She doesn’t want to see Dane but of course she’s running into him all over town. He’s as hot as he was in high school if not hotter since he’s gotten older. He’s got a good heart and is still in love with Neely but has their situation really changed?
I love single dad’s and Dane is a great dad to Mia. He’s not perfect but he gives it a 110%. I absolutely adore their relationship.
Is Dane going to fight for Neely this time? Is Neely going to see what’s right in front of her face before she goes back to her dream job in New York? Will they be able to work it out this time and get their HEA or is there too much water under the bridge?
