A hot new rock star romance that will sweep you off your feet and leave you with a smile from New York Times Bestselling Author, S.L. Scott. The rumors are true. At least where I’m concerned. Drummers hit it harder and do it better. Women love me and I love them. But I like to think of myself as a sensitive soul trapped in a lady-killer’s body. Not so surprisingly, I’ve been called cocky a time … I’ve been called cocky a time or two. What can I say? We can’t all be boy scouts.
Nikki Faris has thrown off my rhythm. With her red lips, smart aleck mouth, short skirts, long legs, and blue-sky eyes, the beautiful lead singer has become a complete distraction on this tour.
She loves to give me a hard time when all I want to do is give her the pleasure of my hard—time right back.
Tulsa Crow can save his pick up lines, great eight-pack abs, and cute dimples to use on someone else. My band earned their spot on The Resistance’s tour just like The Crow Brothers. I’m not going to blow it getting sidetracked by a cocky rock star that wants to sleep his way through the states. I’ve been called a name or two, but easy isn’t one of them.
But the best intentions with him turn into a walk of shame for me. Only, I don’t feel shame. Instead, I’m doing the very thing I said I wouldn’t—falling for a playboy.
We make sinful music when we’re on the road, but what happens to our melody when the tour ends?
If you’ve read Spark, or The Resistance, then you must dive into Tulsa where the characters are featured. If you haven’t read those books, no worries, Tulsa is a COMPLETE STANDALONE in The Crow Brothers world.

This book is such a fun, funny, romantic and steamy read! Tulsa and Nikki are just the best couple because they don’t put up with each other’s shit and are able to see through all the walls that each put up for the world.
Nikki is the singer in the group Feris Wheel. She, her twin brother Laird and cousin Shane make up the group and they are getting their big break being one of the opening acts for The Resistance. Nikki shows the world one side of herself and hides her true self behind her public persona because she has been hurt in the past. Tulsa is the youngest brother of The Crow Brothers band who is also getting their big break opening for The Resistance. They had also released their first album right before the concert tour and the album has been a big hit. Tulsa is a playboy and he is not afraid to admit it. He enjoys women but also make sure that each woman know what to expect and/or not expect from him.
Nikki and Tulsa meets for the first time at the first concert that they are playing at and it was attraction at first sight. Nikki misjudges who Tulsa really is though and as they spend time together, she notices that Tulsa is not only a very hot guy but is very genuine about who he is. Nikki also realizes that Tulsa see her for who she is and not the music star that the world sees and feels that she can be herself with him. Tulsa never thought he would want to be involved in a relationship or have anything more than a one night stand but being with Nikki brings out feelings in him that he never thought he would have.
Nikki and Tulsa together is so hot and their chemistry is off the charts. They must decide what they want for their future and once the concert tour is over what will happen to them. Their pasts come back to haunt them and they must find a way to get through it and be there for each other.
We met Tulsa in Spark when we read about his oldest brother Jet and knew that Tulsa was the playboy of the three brothers. I can’t wait to read about Rivers story next because the Crow Brothers are some exceptionally hot guys who get the meaning of family and standing by each other and the ones that they love!
4.5 stars
“I may wear white on stage, but I’m definitely a devil you don’t want to dance with.”
Tulsa Crow, you won my heart since turning the first page of your book. Can I please have my very own Tulsa? Like, right now? Suzie, you have a gift to write book-boyfriends that are too good to be true. You give us guys we can dream about.
“Until now, I never knew what I was missing, but she makes it easy to see. This feels like what I want. She feels like what I need.”
Tulsa and Nikki’s story felt like riding a free-fall tower. At one point you are shooting up, which already feels insane. But then, without a warning you fall. This sensation, this thrill what makes your heart race is what Tulsa and Nikki’s love story feels like. They crash hard and fast, but as their souls seems to be bound, like they recognize each other and where waiting for the other for a long time. It all feels so natural.
“I can play live in front of twenty-thousand screaming fans, but only one woman holds the key to my destiny.”
Tulsa is great. I don’t have another word for him. Sure he is cocky, but he has all right to be. He’s charming, ridiculously good looking and a personality that draws people in. At least if you give him a chance to open up, to be himself. As much as he is a boy who enjoys his time with woman, he’s not using them. He respects them. Nikki can see through his armor and makes a beeline right for his heart. I love the way he opens up to Nikki, how he opens up to the feelings so unknown to him. For his 23 years he’s more grown up than he should be at this age. But life happens and has way to form you. Tulsa is sensual and cares deeply for the people he loves. Family and music is everything to him. And so is now Nikki.
“We’re the best kind of head-on collision. We crashed into love without a safety net, so there’s no saving me now.”
Nikki is a wonderful heroine. She’s strong-willed and witty. She has her own way of dealing with cocky musicians and within the tough music business she holds her own, standing her ground. In her past she had to endure things that made her the strong woman she’s today. And I respect her for what she did and what she became. She’s a fighter and I enjoyed her way of falling for Tulsa. He has an incredible way of boosting her self-confidence just by being there, being him and let Nikki be herself.
“Somewhere along this tour I stopped looking for the stars and found you.”
Tulsa and Nikki are perfect for each other. Their chemistry is insane and even though everything seems to happen almost too fast, it seems to be perfect for them at the same time. It just fits their personalities and makes them simply them.
Tulsa is a great story that shows if something feels this right, it can’t be wrong. And if you are in love, act on it. Don’t waste time.
Great rock-star romance that makes you want your very own drummer boy. Because drummers hit it harder and they do it with rhythm.
Tulsa is the youngest of the Crow brothers he is sexy and charming and is enjoying his conquest in each city of the tour, his older brother jet tells Tulsa to slowdown and Rivers tells him to be careful because sometimes the past has a way of sneaking back into our lives causing unrest. The Crow brothers meet the band that is opening for them and Tulsa eyes lock onto the lead singer Nikki Faris of Faris Wheel; and Tulsa is quickly told hands off by her brother Laird & cousin Shane. The members of the Resistance tells Tulsa not to hook up Farris Wheel for if it goes bad it will make for a long Tour. Tulsa insist that he will never be changed by a woman like his brother Jet and the other married members of the Resistance….But Tulsa Never seen Nikki Faris coming into his life & that is when things change for them both. S.L. Scott gives us another great rock n roll read with characters that we already love and introduces us to new favorites. Come and get to know Tulsa Crow better & find out if he & Nikki Faris become more then just tour mates but a couple who don’t their past take over their future. You will find a lot of twist and surprises that will keep on your toes. Congratulations S.L Scott for giving us another wild story; I can’t wait to meet Rivers next.
“My reputation precedes me. It’s one I’ve earned notch by notch, gig after gig.”
Tulsa is the baby Crow brother. He takes his cocky attitude and manwhore status very seriously and has got his smoldering smirk down to a science. He’s got all the girls falling at his feet, but not her. Nope, she’s his forbidden fantasy. Driving him crazy with lust but off-limits. The Crows Brothers band is opening for The Resistance, and Faris Wheel is opening for them. And Nikki Faris, she’s a really bad idea that he can’t stop thinking about. He wants her…
Nikki Faris is the lead singer who knows better than to get involved with the sexy drummer from another band. They are all on tour together and have been warned not to do anything that might jeopardize it. He is trouble with a capital ‘T’ and all she can think about. He’s got her in a #TulsaDaze and when he calls her darlin’ she drunkenly confesses, “When you say it with your accent, I want to take off my panties. Why does it affect me like that?”
What fun I had reading this story as I waited for their lust to take over and their clothes to fall off. With each of them being in a band with their siblings it was an even worse idea for them to give in to temptation with a higher risk of getting caught. Everyone knows that your own brother can tell when you’re hiding something, right? Would the reward be worth the risk?
I am addicted to rockstar romance and having not one, but three bands in a single story was a treat too delicious to describe. I couldn’t decide which band t-shirt to wear to the concert or which tour bus to stow away on. But after spending some quality time with the misunderstood drummer, he won me over and with his #Boop and #TheTulsaSpecial. Once I got past his arrogance and saw the big heart he was hiding I knew he was exactly what Nikki needed. Would he ever get the chance to prove it to her? His brother warned, “Be careful. The past has a way of catching up with your future.”
As I’ve come to expect, the author kept me guessing. Not only was I caught up in the sweet and sexy, she threw in some secrets and suspense to keep me on edge. One minute I was rushing toward the finish line and the next I was reading slower because I didn’t want to reach it yet. I can’t get enough of her amazing characters and I’m so looking forward to the next book. I’m guessing it will feature Rivers, the third Crow brother. But there are other characters that I’d love to spend more time with too. I’ve got my fingers crossed that I’ll get a backstage pass to a meet-and-greet with the other Faris Wheel band members. The line forms here…
I started reading this book with the typical mindset: this is a bad-boy romance where love conquers all. Wow, was I surprised! Yes, Tulsa is your typical rocker/bad boy and Nikki is your typical awesome heroine, but this frenemies-to-lovers story was different than I expected.
The banter between the two; the highs and lows they went thru; you can envision and feel like you are actually IN their story. You can feel the turmoil when they do, feel the goose-bumps you know they have, and smile right along with them.
Tulsa was the first S. L. Scott book I have ever read, but it defiantly won’t be the last.
The Crow Brothers are so delectable. Tulsa turned out to be just as sweet and sexy as his oldest brother, Jet. Being the most rambunctious of the Crow brothers, Tula is the player of the crew. He not only loves the music they make and being with his brothers every step of the way…but the women are his weakness. He knows how sexy he is and has no qualms with taking advantage of all the offers that come his way. He loves women and they love him. Settling down or thoughts of “The One” aren’t on his radar.
Nikki Faris is the one he never saw coming. Lead singer to her family band, Faris Wheel, she and her band are on tour with The Crow Brothers as an another up and coming band supported by The Resistance. For Tulsa it was almost love at first sight. One look at her and he was a goner.
Tulsa was a whirlwind of passion, heat, sweetness and emotion and showed Tulsa’s true colors of being a very sensitive, caring and loving man. Nikki was sassy, bold, confident and everything Tulsa needed to keep him on his toes.
This was a wonderful follow-up to the series. And I’m anxiously awaiting to see what is in store for Rivers. I have a feeling his is going to be an emotionally filled ride.
I LOVED Tulsa and Nikki!! At times the timeline seemed off but the characters made up for that to me!
Tulsa is as funny as I knew he would be. However, there is so much more to Tulsa. He loves with his whole heart. Nikki is such a strong and talented woman. I loved rhis book so hard. S.L. Scott did an outstanding job portraying Tulsa. She “booped” it out of the park!
Nikki Faris had a good childhood, but somewhere along the line, she takes a turn that wasn’t easy. Through time and with the love of her family, she’s made a turn around and getting to do something she loves. So when Tulsa captures her eye, will she let him in or push him away?
Tulsa Crow has always been the love ’em and leave ’em playboy, never one to think about settling down. But all that changes when he meets the beguiling Nikki. Can he reform his playboy ways and win the heart of the woman that owns his heart? Or will this be a fling that will fade away at the end of this tour?
Tulsa is captivating, heartwarming, entertaining read that will keep you glued to each page and falling in love with Tulsa and Nikki over and over again.
I already loved Tulsa after Spark but loved him even more after Tulsa. The man is more that good looks and a fine musician, he’s smart, kind, generous, and loyal. He never takes promises lightly. And when it comes to Nikki, I love how much he loves her. There really isn’t anything he wouldn’t do for her. He may never had expected to settle down, but when he does it’s with every fiber of his being.
Nikki is feisty, witty, talented, and very special. I admire how strong she is and her ability to overcome her past mistakes. She didn’t want to fall for Tulsa, but once he gets under her skin, he’s the only man for her. She loves him completely… the good, the bad, and the ugly.
And when these two do finally get together… hot damn does it hot in here. Tulsa has mouth on him and he knows how to use it. Nikki may not be as skilled in the dirty talk, she isn’t shy about her desires.
The Crow Brothers are a special group of men that know what it takes to keep a family together through thick and thin. And when they love, the love hard and completely. Jet and Tulsa have fallen head over heels for their lady loves, and I can’t wait to see what happens next with River.
I loved Tulsa and highly recommend it. It’s has a compelling storyline, a swoon worthy hero, an enchanting heroine, and intense passion. So run and pick up Tulsa, then sit back and read about how hard this playboy falls for his vixen.
***I received an ebook copy from the author at no cost***
Y’all. Y’ALL!
Nobody writes rockstars like Suzie does and oh. my. god. Tulsa Crow is EVERYTHING. (One more time, EVERYTHING!)
Tulsa is the youngest Crow brother. He’s got a mischievous streak about him, more than a few notches on his bedpost, and is just cocky enough that it’s sexy. “Relationship” isn’t a word in his vocabulary. He’s riding high on new found fame and plans to do what any young, male, up-and-coming musician would: sleep his way across the country while on tour.
Enter Nikki, the lead singer for Ferris Wheel, the first opening act on The Resistance’s tour. She’s a bit of a punk rock version of the girl next door, with snark and sass to boot. On the bring of making it big themselves, Nikki and the band are hyper-focused on the tour being a success. The last thing she needs is a distraction, and Tulsa Crow could certainly become one if she’s not careful.
Tulsa completely won my heart in this story. He’s on my list of Top Book Boyfriends of 2018. I’m still swooning over the man, even though I finished the book last night. He’s sexy, has a naughty mouth, and is the epitome of the bad-boy rocker. He’s also a total sweetheart when you peel back all the layers he’s built up over the years. He has a heart of gold and so much passion for what he does. Suzie kept me on my toes with him, because he developed so much over the course of the story.
Nikki is a perfect match for Tulsa. She doesn’t deal with his crap and she’s not afraid to put him in his place when he needs it. And she doesn’t fall down drooling all over him like most women do. She commands respect, and she gets it, and also develops an authentic friendship with Tulsa too. These two are so stupid cute together, especially when they’re bantering back and forth. Seriously, I get all kinds of swoony, heart flutters just thinking about it.
In addition to being a romance story, there’s some action weaved throughout the book as well, which kept me on my toes. I knew there had to be some ulterior motives going on with one of the secondary characters (not gonna name that character because I don’t wanna spoil anything). I couldn’t quite pinpoint things, but I loved how Suzie threw me some curveballs and kept me chomping at the bit to figure out what was going on.
The music part of this book … Gah! Like I said, nobody writes rockstars like Suzie writes them, and that showed yet again in Tulsa. Everything felt so realistic and I love how there were characters from some of my favorite Resistance novels in here, and the other Crow brothers, and the Resistance ladies, and … I loved it. This is a book where the secondary characters are instrumental, and are just as amazing as the main ones.
If you like rocker romances, this is the perfect book for you. And if you’ve read the other books in the Resistance series, you definitely need to check out the Crow books now as well!
Five stars to this novel!
As always, a fantastic, five star read!! Tulsa and Nikki’s love story is perfection. He’s the rascally, lusty playboy who’s a good guy. He is himself, no facades here. Nikki is a former beauty queen who’s built a wall around herself that Tulsa breaks down, brick by brick. They discover their other half in each other. Slow burn passion that eventually engulfs them. S.L. Scott does rock stars so well! I can’t wait for Rivers story!
“Other than playing music, sex is my favorite sport, it took a lot of practice to be this perfect.”
Tulsa is the stand-alone Rock Star Romance featuring Tulsa Crow of The Crow Brothers Band. Jet, Rivers and Tulsa are the Brothers Crow. Jet is the eldest, Tulsa is the youngest. They have been signed by Outlaw Records and will tour with the world famous band – The Resistance – on their US Tour. In addition, up and coming band Faris Wheel will be the opening act.
Tulsa is laid back, and has a free spirit/vibe about him. Being incredibly hot and sexy hasn’t hurt either. Life is good. Everything that he has dreamed about is coming true. The Crow Brother’s album is climbing the charts. Tulsa never lacks charm or women.
“He definitely gets a lot of attention. He’s confident, cocky actually, and well aware of his good looks and the appeal of being a musician.”
Faris Wheel is also a newly signed band to Outlaw Records. Their album isn’t finished yet but they have a strong following and are included on the tour. Nikki Faris is the lead singer and guitar player. She is beautiful with a style all of her own. Tulsa and Nikki don’t hit it off immediately. She thinks he’s cocky
“I’ve been with a hot guy before. Been there and done him. I don’t just want hot anymore. I want substance. I want what my parents have.”
What starts out as a misunderstanding on both sides blooms into more. Can Tulsa change his wicked ways? Does he want to? I will say that I was expecting something totally different from Tulsa’s story. We see a whole different side to him.
“It’s not just the outside that shines… it’s who you are on the inside.”
We are also introduced to Faris Wheel, the up and coming indie trio with a huge following. Nikki & Laird are twin siblings while Shane is their cousin. Faris Wheel have spent a few years playing large festivals. This has paid off in recognition and love from the audiences. Nikki Faris is bad ass! Beautiful and talented with a style that is all hers.
There were some situations that occurred but were resolved rather quickly. I expected Tulsa to be a wild ride but with everything that is Tulsa, expect the unexpected.
“Women. They have a way of changing us before we even realize it’s even happened.”
Up next- Rivers story. I have a feeling this is gonna be emotional and intense! Also…will we be seeing more of Faris Wheel……?
4 stars
Nikki Faris, lead singer of Faris Wheel, has reasons to be suspicious of all men. When the drummer for the Crow Brothers directs his attention her way, she finds herself both interested and unsure of what to do.
Tulsa Crow is living the life of a rock star. He and his brothers have worked hard and now he’s ready to enjoy the perks. He never anticipated finding the one person to satisfy his whims.
I was instantly intrigued by this book and it kept my attention until the last page. I loved the chemistry between the two main characters. Her perseverance in staying true to herself is a definite positive. His tenacity to learn more about her was quite endearing. I loved their quick-witted banter as well as their desire to connect on a deeper level.
This is the first book I have read by this author and look forward to reading more.
Five exceptional stars! You will find a fun-forbidden-secret-romance.
Holy stars! Tulsa by S.L. Scott is a extraordinary and phenomenal masterpiece. The little of the Crow brothers stole my heart from the first pages of his book to the end of it. (although there is nothing small about him) S.L. Scott’s books always leave me with a big book hangover. I loved all of it. Wow! Suzie’s male characters are impossible to forget. This time she gifted us a cocky, hot, sexy drummer.
This book is a mind-blowing journey. The plot is brilliant. The characters are wonderful and strong. Tulsa and Nikki’s story was like a perfect fairy tale. With a southern accent like Tulsa’s, I would fall for him easily. Nikki really had it bad at the beginning. She was a cursed and lucky woman at the same time.
Such a masterpiece deserves many stars, not only five, but billions. I was hooked from the beginning to the end. To me Tulsa is the strongest and beautiful tale of two souls that found their reason to live in the arms of each other.
Tulsa is a dream personified. He is too good to be true. Men like him only exists in books. He is a bad boy with a golden heart in a sinful body. He is what I need in my life, like right now! Dear Suzie, can I have my own Tulsa? He doesn’t let any girl to get closer to him because he is a player, a hunter. The difference about him is that he never thought the women who were in his bed were only toys. He always was honest and he respect them. Such a charming southern gentleman!
On the other hand we have a feisty heroine. Nikki is a strong woman. She has a past that has marked her. She trusted the wrong man. He hurt her. She is more than a pretty face. Nikki is a fighter. She and Tulsa have something in common: a strong family that support and protect them. Tulsa will be a sexy hot temptation. The attraction between them is explosive. The chemistry is deep, not to mention the sexual tension.
The interaction between them is freaking beautiful. Watching them falling in love was so lovely and shining.
S.L. Scott has done it again! Her writing is always flawless and smoothly addictive. I highly recommend you to read this book. You will find a fun forbidden secret romance between two rockstars inside this book. I am a fan of the Crow brothers. I can’t wait to read Rivers book too. But something tell me that I will cry with that book.
I love the Crow Brothers and Tulsa did not disappoint. A fun sexy read with lots of heart and love. I love that the Resistance make appearances and I love seeing how Jet’s life is working out as well. Nikki is a strong character as well who has overcome some hardships in life to find her happy place. Enjoy the ride.
The Crow Brothers saga just gets better with each new installment of their story. Even though each book can be read as a stand alone novel, the journey of these brothers is only enriched by reading the preceding book. The path Jet, Tulsa, and Rivers Crow follow is quite unexpected and memorable.
In this edition, we learn about Tulsa Crow. He is the youngest of the Crow men and by far the most carefree. Tulsa is fun-loving and free-spirited. He grabs life by the armful and squeezes every bit of joy out of each moment. He has few regrets and makes even fewer apologies for who he is and how he lives. Life is good for Tulsa until he collides with Nikki Faris.
Nikki Faris is a former beauty queen who has become a new queen of rock music. She commands the stage with her sultry voice and energetic presence. Nikki has strong opinions and a strong will that has been earned the hard way. She knows who she is and is not afraid to show it. When Nikki meets Tulsa, he opens a whole new realm of possibilities to her.
I love the progression of the relationship between Tulsa and Nikki. It is as simple as raw attraction and as complex as finding the way through a maze, blindfolded. These two bring out the best and the beast in each other. The dynamics of there interactions with each other and with their family members is truly the stuff legends are made from.
S.L. Scott’s writing only gets stronger with each book she releases. She truly draws you into the middle of the action and makes you feel along with the characters. All of the characters, new and old, grow and progress with each story. Tulsa is my favorite character and book Ms. Scott has written. This Texas girl loves all the Texas references, history, and places included in Tulsa. I cannot wait to see what Rivers’ story has in store for us.
4 “Darlin'” Stars
You know, ever since I read Spark, Tulsa and his easygoing nature struck a chord. I needed more of his goofiness. But especially, I wanted more of his story.
I was never all that privy to rockstar romances. But after I read my first one I was like “huh, I actually quite like this.” And since then, they’ve been some of my favorite romances. So when I read Spark I was all heart eyes. And after, knowing there was going to be a book on each brother I all but jumped out of my seat. First Jet, then Tulsa and Rivers? Oh yeah, come to mamma. I was excited to say the least. I couldn’t wait to get my hands on them. And the second Crow brother that would get my undivided attention was Tulsa.
Tulsa Crow, oh be still my heart. I honestly didn’t expect for him to come in and swoop me off my feet. He was charming and endearing and an all around good man. He wasn’t a womanizer per say, but there were quite enough woman that warned his bed. Yeah, he liked to have a good time and he wouldn’t apologize for it. But it takes one, just one woman who might be able to change Tulsa’s way.
Nikki Faris was a spitfire. She’s fierce and strong and I just adored her. She brought her A game when dealing with Tulsa. These two brought the laughs. But at the same time the emotional aspect as well. Tulsa and Nikki were the perfect pair. The stars aligned to put those two together, and it worked.
S.L. I am seriously dying to have Rivers’ book!!!! I am so intrigued by him and his mysteriousness. I desperately need to know more. Jet stole my heart. Tulsa captured my heart. And one thing’s for sure, Rivers will no doubt own my heart. So if time can hurry the heck up so I can get my hands on his book, I’ll be forever grateful.
Okay S.L. Scott and these Crow brothers are by far the sexiest men I have read. We have the next brother in the hot sensation rock band, Crow Brothers, Tulsa. Now in Jets story we got a glimpse of the funny, sexy playboy but man S.L. Scott really showed him in his book. From the outside he portrays sex on a stick, horny as always yet it takes a strong woman like Nikki to really have him open up himself. These two together were great and the funny, teasing foreplay between them well just grab a glass of ice it is that hot. This is just book 2 cannot wait what S.L. Scott will do with the next Crow brother. Loved it and read it twice already really good.
“I received an eBook copy from the publisher for the purpose of an honest review. I was not compensated for this review: all conclusions are my own.”
I’ve loved these rock star books series and how they are all interconnected. Seeing the guys of The Resistance along with the Crow Brothers and now we have a new band, Faris Wheel. Will we learn more about what’s happening with Laird and Lauralee in a future book?? Anyway I digress. I liked Tulsa in Spark where we were first introduced to the Crow brothers but I LOVED Tulsa in this book. Just goes to show you not to judge a book by its cover or by rumors! Nikki is not the type of woman I expected for Tulsa. She’s a badass lead singer and guitarist who can hold her own in front of a huge crowd. Talk about a strong woman! But they are perfect together and they go through a lot in this book, dealing with secrets, surprise announcements, and maybe an arrest or two! Now the question is, what’s happening with Rivers? Can’t wait to find out!

Tulsa is the hot drummer from the up and coming band the Crow Brothers. His the ultimate partier and he loves all women, many times over. When he meets the lead singer from the opening band, Nikki Faris she pushes all of Tulsa’s buttons in the right way. For the success of the tour he must resist her and so they agree to be friends. When Tulsa gets a bombshell dropped on him he needs all the friends he can get. I loved this book. The story has twists and turns that leave you wondering how it will all end. These characters are ones that I love and I can’t wait to read the next book. Write faster S.L. Scott!!! Highly Recommend!!!
