A special 20th anniversary edition of the beloved international bestseller that changed millions of livesMaybe it was a grandparent, or a teacher, or a colleague. Someone older, patient and wise, who understood you when you were young and searching, helped you see the world as a more profound place, gave you sound advice to help you make your way through it.For Mitch Albom, that person was Morrie … Albom, that person was Morrie Schwartz, his college professor from nearly twenty years ago.
Maybe, like Mitch, you lost track of this mentor as you made your way, and the insights faded, and the world seemed colder. Wouldn’t you like to see that person again, ask the bigger questions that still haunt you, receive wisdom for your busy life today the way you once did when you were younger?
Mitch Albom had that second chance. He reconnected with Morrie in the last months of the older man’s life. Knowing he was dying, Morrie visited with Mitch in his study every Tuesday, just as they used to back in college. Their rekindled relationship turned into one final “class:” lessons in how to live.
Tuesdays with Morrie is a magical chronicle of their time together, through which Mitch shares Morrie’s lasting gift with the world.

Such a neat outlook on life!
This story makes you think about what is truly important in life. It shows you how the kindness of one person to another can be life changing for both.
Some books we are meant to read. I was meant to read this one. It tells in painful detail the true cost of a ravaging disease on those who are fiercely independent, immeasurably intelligent, and in possession of more courage most can imagine. We are given an introspective insight from the outside looking in of how far the fall truly is and …
while this is an old book, it has lessons for all of us how to live and die with dignity. Even though you know how it ends, you still find yourself with tears.

Would that we all could be Morrie’s when its time to face a crisis.
One of my all-time favorites!
I read the book and saw the play. Excellent story about real life.
Amazing how a book about a man dying could be so inspirational and uplifting!
A beautiful story of one man’s influence on another’s perspective in life. A story of how focus on giving and being present supersedes money and image.
Made me wish I knew Morrie and could have sat and chatted with him too.
