Teddy King excels at many things. Playing hockey. Check. Scoring on and off the ice. Check. Being stupidly attractive … Double check. I knew him way back when. Before he was the guy everyone wanted a piece of, he was just a rebellious college co-ed and one of my more energetic study partners. But secrets have a way of getting out, and a steamy encounter from our college days (that we probably … encounter from our college days (that we probably shouldn’t have filmed) is about to cause a major scandal. Unless we can work together to stop it.
Teddy’s no stranger to hard work … but the thing he wants most?
Is me.
Note: This high-heat standalone is chock-full of scorching banter and steamy good times. He’s a testosterone-dripping hockey player who wants a second chance. She’s a tough as nails attorney intent on making partner. Loads of sexy banter! No cliffhanger. Enjoy!
Your favorite hot jocks are back with an all new stand-alone novel. If you like sexy, confident men who know how to handle a stick (on and off the ice), and smart women who are strong enough to keep all those big egos in check, this series is perfect for you!

Phenomenal!! This book just gave me all the warm and fuzzies! Love how the secret hookups from the past turn into the all-in love and passion of the present and future for Teddy and Sara. When the layers are peeled back from both they reveal fun loving and caring people that will do anything for each other. Kendall has me on lockdown with all of her books!!
Hockey player and heart throb Teddy is on the top of the world. Great ice time, great plays and great friends. But when a hacker is going to release a sex tape that he made with his college friend-with-benefits who just happens to be the high powered attorney that his part of his circle of friends, he and Sara decide to preempt the release and come out as in a relationship – a fake relationship. But will the fake relationship turn into so much more? What happens when their true feelings come out? Can the friendship last? Once again Kendall Ryan brings the reader into the circle of hot hockey players and their other halves that makes them feel like they are one in the bunch. Real life issues, real life relationships and real life connections make this and all other books in the series one of the best I have read this year. I look forward to more in the series.
More Hot Jocks, and book 3 comes in the form of Teddy King, super hot and super fit hockey player, with a heart of gold. When a sex video comes back to bite Teddy and his friend (and secret crush), Sara, in the butt, they both get coerced into a fake relationship. It’s not hard for them to pick up where they left off 7 years earlier, and the lines between real and fake soon start blurring somewhat. No angst, just a hockey player and a lawyer who share more than peanut butter ice cream and orgasms, and are quite honestly, a match made in heaven. A wonderful, quick, easy and stress free sexy romance. Addictive reading, fantastic characters, and perfect writing. I received an advanced copy of this book from the author. This is my honest review.
With sizzling chemistry that burns through the pages, Trying to Score is a hot AF read! I loved it!
I always forget how easy it is to read a Kendall Ryan book, i pick it up to read a few chapters and end up with a finished book everytime.
The writing is always flawless, the storyline always hooks me it’s like fighting a losing battle.
This series though i don’t know what it is that sets it apart from the others but those Hockey players have won my heart good and proper.
Teddy and Sara’s story was just as amazing as the others, i loved seeing them together. I loved seeing the other two couples aswell it feels like the story never ends if you know what i mean?
Teddy was amazing, he wore his heart on his sleeve a little but that’s one of the things i love about these hockey players is they aren’t afraid to actually show their feelings.
Sara i really liked too, she was every bit of professional when she was supposed to be it could have been alot different.
Overall i loved this book alot!
