Try Me is book 4 in the Brie’s Submission series by Red Phoenix and I seriously can not get enough of Brie!!! I love that they traveled to Russia to visit Rytsar!!! I hope that she reveals more of his past since it is so mysterious!!! While Brie learns more about herself in this book you are also able to see how her and Sir’s relationship continues to strengthen. I love how you can you practically feel every emotion that Brie is going through and it truly shows how talented Red Phoenix’s writing is! I am becoming absolutely obsessed with this series!!!
Book 4 – Try Me – by Red Phoenix
Thank goodness! He did the right thing, the man that was never going to have a submissive and probably never leave as Headmaster of the Submissive Training Centre, now has a wonderful loving submissive who is devoted to him. Thane has moved Brie into his home and they are learning more and more about each other each day. Sir arranged for her to have a few days off work (because ha ha guess what the manager of the Tobacco Shop is his Uncle) but there is a problem heading their way. Faelan – Todd Wallace is not taking it well that Brie did not pick him at the collaring ceremony, he won’t give up and thinks Sir Davis manipulated Brie (we all know he didn’t) but is making it very difficult for Brie and Sir.
In an effort to put some space between them and Wallace it is decided by Sir and Rytsar Durov, Sir’s best friend and adopted brother that Brie and Sir visit Rytsar in Russia! How exciting, Brie has not been out of the US and she is very excited to visit Russia with her Master. All of her things have now been moved into Sir Davis’s condo and Sir and she will be discussing with Marquis Gray how to help Wallace move beyond what he thinks he had with Brie. While Marquis works on that she will be in Russa.
Before they leave for Russia there is one thing that Sir wants to do, meet Brie’s parents. Opps!! maybe not the best idea according to Brie, she knows her parents well and forget that Thane and Brie are members of the BDSM community, Thane is older than her and they have only been a couple for about 6 weeks, she knows that will not go over well with her parents. Of course she’s right, lots of screaming, her father is not happy, her mother kind of pretends to be happy and they just told them they were a couple! BDSM never even got mentioned! Never mind Brie, your going to Russia with Sir and visit with Rytsar, what could go wrong and it does on several fronts.
The story of Brie and Sir Thane Davis is expanding each day they are together. They are becoming closer as a couple, are learning more about each other and it’s kinda of a honeymoon period in a way. But we all know honeymoon’s aren’t always champagne and roses.
Red Phoenix again is able to bring in her readers with her easy words and gentle story lines. Always a delight to read her books.
This was, like the three previous books in the series, quite fun to read and a real page-turner. In it, we get to know a bit more about the new life of Brie and Sir, which is with its challenges. The scenes are very hot and as memorable as the previous books of the series. I had a lot of fun reading this book and can’t wait to read book five of the series.
