New necromancer Meagan Greystone grew up orphaned and homeless. She’s finally found a place where she feels she belongs, her ancestral home Ravenswood Manor. But just as she’s starting to become a valued member of the nearby community, she hears a strange voice in her head—one tempting her with more power than she’s ever known and a chance to learn abilities beyond her wildest dreams.
When …
When Meagan discovers the voice belongs to her great-grandfather — Quintus — a man known equally for his magical talent and cruelty, she turns to her father’s spirit for help. When his spirit vanishes, she knows she has to properly raise her father from the dead.
During the invocation, the one person she thought would never betray her does, and Quintus rises from the dead instead of her father.
Now walking again, and determined to recover his power, Quintus will take away everything dear to her. He will turn the people she cares about most into his slave unless she joins him … or finds a way to defeat one of the most powerful necromancers who ever lived.

Truth Unveiled by Kim Cleary is a wonderful story to read. I am so glad I read this story it kept me on the edge of my seat with mystery threw the story. Every time I would put down the book to go do something I wanted to pick it up again to start reading it again, I highly recommend this story to all.

Truth Unveiled (Daughter of Ravenswood Book 2)…this series though! I read the books out of sequence, reading book 3 first, and really these books can be read as standalones. The series takes you on a roller coaster, twists and turns everywhere! I can’t recommend it enough!

I was so excited to read this addition of the series. Kim Cleary is one of my new favorite authors. Book one was my first experience with her writing and I am impressed. Our girl, Megan, is such a strong, fearless, honorable soul. She knows where she comes from and can’t stop herself from helping others (even if she doesn’t know what she’s doing). She has Evie (over 100 yrs dead) and loves her as if she were still alive. She is not only battling poltergeists, but also a malevolent spirit. I love that she not only has her dragons, her imp, Evie and her father’s spirit, but she has friends and even a beau in Winterhurst. This is a fantastic book that kept me on the edge of my seat and missing sleep so I could finish it. Megan is a force to be reckoned with. I requested an advanced reader copy from Booksprout and am under no obligation to leave this review.
Having settled into her family home and starting to settle into her family responsibilities, Meagan starts to hear the voice of an ancestor. She turns to the ghost of her father for help but her attempt to raise him goes horribly wrong and she raises Quintis instead.

Truth Unveiled is the second book of the series and it was better than the first. You are able to get a sense for the character personalities and are drawn almost immediately into the action of the story. This is a fast paced easy read that hooked me from the beginning. I’d highly recommend this book and look forward to reading the next book in this series!!
This second book in the series is PG13, took about two days to read, and is set principally at Ravenswood and in Winterhurst. I cannot think of anything else to say that will not be a spoiler

An intriguing, new-world paranormal fantasy! This book pulled me into the story and it was almost impossible to put it down. It was beautifully written and I loved the characters. It was so descriptive that I could see and feel the world of the storyline as I was reading. I received a complimentary copy but my opinions are honest and voluntary. I can’t wait to read the next book!!
