Fern Michaels is a national treasure, and her latest in the Sisterhood series finds the stalwart friends bringing justice—and hope—to families devastated by a greedy con artist. The Sisterhood: a group of women from all walks of life bound by friendship and a quest for justice. Armed with vast resources, top-notch expertise, and a loyal network of allies around the globe, the Sisterhood will … expertise, and a loyal network of allies around the globe, the Sisterhood will not rest until every wrong is made right.
When Alexis Thorn and Joe Esposito encounter a young woman sobbing alone in a restaurant, they step into action and offer their comfort and sympathy. They soon learn that the woman’s husband was recently killed in action in Afghanistan. Before he reported for duty, they took steps to preserve their chances of having children. But when Bella visits the fertility clinic, she discovers her eggs are no longer there—and the circumstances are beyond suspicious.
Heartbroken at this tale of shattered hopes, Alexis recruits the Sisterhood to investigate. Soon they uncover a con artist on an obsessive mission. Tracking the culprit behind such a cruel scheme won’t be easy. But with their combined grit, courage, and determination to overcome any obstacle, the Sisterhood will make sure that this story ends on a note of triumph . . .

This story was not as good as some of the other books. The issues in this story were more moral/ethical than criminal, except for the “donation” issue. The actions and punishment from the Sisterhood seems extremely cruel, especially since the character’s medical condition wasn’t clarified. The ending left me with a very sad, and uncomfortable feeling. Sometimes the punishments in this series go to far!
I follow this series. They’re easy reads, but not prize winners.
good mystery
It was so bad. The vigilantes were bumbling idiots in this book!!
I love these characters and how they want justice for the under dog.
I have the whole series so naturally I enjoyed reading to find out what type of punishment they were going to come up with. More fanasty but fun reading and Ms.Michaels is a great writer and I enjoy her book very much.
I love all of Fern Michaels Sisterhood series. This book is wonderful and kept me reading to the end. I can’t wait for the next in the series!
I love all the sisters books
Great author
Wow
I won a copy of this book from Goodreads giveaways and was not required to give a favorable review. This one brings the sisterhood together to help a military widow who has been done wrong by her husband’s so called sister and also a fertility clinic.
The Sisterhood is at it again. While this was an entertaining and action-packed read, it was not as creative as the previous Sisterhood books. This time around, they handled the “problem” themselves instead of enlisting the use of The Guys.
Great read as always from Michaels
I adore this series and have also read the men of the sisterhood too. You can always count on the sisters to right a wrong. Each one has its own twists and turns with a new adventure to be sure as this one was also. Alexis and Joe encounter this first of whom needs aid with it going from there. This one has us biting nails as they say with us too wanting justice. In they go to find out whom and what needs to be done with. Of course they do not always have a easy job of it but then again if they did not have such exhilarating stories I do not think we would still be reading them.
I’ve read all of Fern Michael’s’ books. This one just seemed too predictable.
somewhat disappointed. the earlier sisterhood books were written better than the recent ones.
Love reading about these funny, caring, fierce vigilantes. It’s nice to have the underdogs win!
I love this author! Every book I have read that Fern Michaels wrote I have really enjoyed. She is a great writer.
Too many characters.
Really great story!
Love this series!
