How well do we really know the ones we love?
In TRUST, 36-year-old, high school teacher Lauren seems to have it all. She moved back to Waverly several years ago, has a great career, and has finally found true love. Lauren is getting fitted for her wedding dress, and her wedding is just a few weeks away, when one of her students goes missing and she suddenly becomes a person of interest.
Her … person of interest.
Her fiance, David is a former minor-league pitcher turned stockbroker, who is excited to settle down with Lauren. But when the missing student is found dead, and the media turns its attention even more closely on Lauren, David is surprised to discover that Lauren hadn’t told him everything about her past. With the help of his 91 year old grandfather, who is a retired town sheriff, and his best friend Jack, the current assistant sheriff, he sets out to find the truth.
TRUST is set in a small, seaside town in Massachusetts and cooking helps Lauren to relax as the madness of the investigation swirls around her. In the back of the book you’ll find her favorite recipe for braised short ribs (it works just as well with beef brisket too).

Nice read! It is a little different than most cozies because the male character is more involved in solving the murder. True love is his motivation to clear his fiancée. Sweet! I decided to go ahead and start the next book in the series!
A good book for the beach .
The story was engaging and suspenseful. Whenever I thought I figured things out, it would change. The characters were likable and realistic.
Book couldn’t decide where it wanted to go. Dragged for 90% of book, than rushed the resolution. A stinker in my opinion.
This book was OK for the most part but had a very abrupt ending!
The storyline of Trust which involves 2 murders will keep you guessing, did she do it? This question and an added unsuspecting twist and likable characters kept me reading. Trust in Lauren and Melissa was doubtful especially when evidence built against her and I kept turning pages to get the answer, did she do it?
Great read! Fast-moving, full of interesting twists and characters. Full of surprises with good character development. Highly recommended!
I really enjoyed this book. It is a good clean mystery that keeps you guessing.
Areas of the plot caused me to rethink things I’m going through…do I really trust the Lord for everything, even the time-sensitive details, or do I think I’m better at it than God is? Gee, maybe that’s why my plans fail….
I enjoyed this book because I could not connect the dots until the book’s end. I had to keep reading until I found the book’s end.
Would have given 5 stars, but the ending was anti climatic. I was able to figure out who the murderer was prior to the ending.
Very interesting book
Interesting plot with twists that are unexpected.
Many blank pages difficult to follow
Easy reading and I got into the story early on but had a very good idea of what was happening so no great mystery revealed at the end. Could have been a lot more suspenseful!
It caught my attention held it to the end. It was definitely a “who done it” and I couldn’t figure it out until it was revealed. Good Book! Now I’m reading the sequel.
Ending predictable
Enjoyed the read! Had me guessing till the end. I hope to read more of Pamela’s books!
Good romance and mystery! Enjoyed it.
It was good, but a little predictable.
