I’m making strides in the world of dirt late model racing. With back-to-back championships under my belt, I’m determined to win a third and be the youngest driver in history to do so. I’m going to make it happen. My career is my focus. That is until the ultimate distraction in the form of a redheaded bombshell drops into my life.I know nothing about racing, but when my boss comes to me with a … with a special assignment, I take it. Now, here I am traveling from city to city engrossed in this new world. I would never have dreamed that this project would lead me to new friendships and ultimately finding love.
We made a deal, our time together would expire, and we would part ways. The only problem with that is, I’m not so sure that’s what I want anymore. She’s pushing at my walls, and I’m trusting her, letting them fall.
It’s a shame we put an end date on our time together. I knew I would fall for him, but I never dreamed that those feelings would run this deep. The plan was to walk away, that’s what we agreed to, it’s just going to be harder than I thought. I need a new plan one that helps me move on without him

This was a great story, with great characters, both main and secondary ones, great plot-line, flow and steamy scenes too 😉
What more could you ask for from an incredible author!? Nothing, because even the ending was awesome too 🙂 This is Blaine and Aubree’s story being told; from a casual thing to a forever love 🙂

“Trust The Push” are words that everyone should live by. I just love that title and the meaning of the story behind it. Trust the Push by Kaylee Ryan is one of those heartwarming stories that just sticks with you when its over. We are taken on a wonderful journey of learning to trust the push (force of nature). This is a story that you will zip right through because it is so well written. The story just keeps moving along without missing a beat.
Aubree had pulled herself out a very horrible upbringing. She has done it all by herself and is now leading a content life. Not liking any ripples keeps her focused and on track so that the past doesn’t matter. When her boss sends her to a late night call to help a racer out, things start to unravel for Aubree.
Blaine is so focused he can’t stand distractions of any kind. His main goal is to become the youngest dirt racer and 3x championship winner. With 2 wins under his belt and working on number three, what can go wrong? When a redheaded bombshell shows up, his world is about to run right and instead of left turns only.
Fantastic story, well written and I absolutely love the overall message of this novel.
I COULD NOT PUT THIS BOOK DOWN!!!
I am already a huge Kaylee Ryan fan. I mean if she writes it, I will read it, but she never ceases to surprise me with the sheer awesomeness of the stories she comes up with.
Blaine is a cocky and egotistical race car driver, and Aubree is a massage therapist who finds herself working for and traveling with the race car team. They have more of an enemy thing going on at first, but shortly after, their intense chemistry forces them to give in to their need for each other.
Despite his tough exterior, Blaine has a softer side that only Bree could seem to unleash. I absolutely loved every moment of their back and forth, will they or won’t they, will this ever turn into more romance.
Kaylee Ryan writes the absolute best characters and the best happily ever afters. This is a definite highly recommend read for me!!!
This book was so much fun to read!! I absolutely loved everything about this book! You have a workaholic mixed with a race car driver who’s dedicated to winning. These two bump heads and instantly hate each other. Honestly this is my favorite kind of book. The enemies to lovers. The see a different side to each other and realize there’s more to each other then they realized. It’s a slow burn but oh so worth it in the end! I loved Blaine, Aubree and the rest of the team. I loved Rick who teased Blaine miserably with Aubree. It pushed him to admit his feelings. It was a classic move! I need more of these two!!
Blaine and Aubree’s story is everything you know and love from the amazing Kaylee Ryan! I was sucked into this book from the very first chapter. I love watching them fall in love – it was perfect! FIVE HUGE STARS!!
This was a very entertaining story about Aubrey & Blaine, and trusting your heart. They both had things they needed to work through to get to their HEA. They start out somewhat antagonistic toward each other – Blaine because he sees her as a distraction, and Aubrey because he’s a jerk to her.
They do form a sweet banter as they go along, and Aubrey connects with the entire racing team, which just so happens to be Blaine’s family (some literally, as his mom & dad travel with them). I wasn’t a fan of their “deal” mostly because Blaine pretty much wanted more from the beginning & Aubrey kept pushing this idea in her head, rather than listening to her heart and Blaine’s. That got a little repetitive for me!
Overall, I really enjoyed the story, and fell in love with the characters, though!! We also get a little inside track (heehee, see what I did there?) into racing, which was fun to read! : )
A little adrenaline rush. A whole lot of magical words from Kaylee and a Hot man. This booked has it all and I highly recommend it.
Trust the Push by Kaylee Ryan is an emotional, sizzling powerhouse romance that is a must-read! It has an amazing main couple- Aubree and Blaine; Emotional, captivating storyline that tissues will be needed and stock car racing as a backdrop in the story that will be a great part in the story. Add in some fantastic secondary characters and a beautifully written story that will have the reader rooting for Aubree to get her HEA with a sexy yet broody Blaine. The ups and downs, twists and turns will keep you glued from start to finish. This was one of my very favorites by Ms. Ryan’s.
My Rating: 4.8 stars ******
Once I started reading I could not put the book down for anything!! Yet another great read from Kaylee with this story. Aubree had a rough life but has worked tremendously hard to pull herself out of it and into better circumstances. When she meets Blaine through her work, he is cocky racecar driver and shows major attitude, and while Aubree has no idea who he is, she stands up to him and does her job without letting his attitude affect her. When Aubree is required to travel with Blaine, he makes it very clear that he does not want her there. Blaine’s attitude is a direct result of how Aubree makes him feel and he fights his feelings until he no longer can. When the attraction reaches a high point, they end up coming together in secret, which is always a recipe for trouble. This story is a total HEA with a few twists and turns (that I totally didn’t expect) that make it that much more of an amazing read. The flow and style of writing was great and it was an easy-to-read page-turner that I was so glad I read!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
This is a great book that I was so glad I read. I loved the cover and the blurb finally sold me on reading it.
Blaine is racing and loving it. He is trying to be the youngest racer to win in the Dirt Late Model Racing World. He is living his life to the fullest by racing by day and partying by night. Aubree is a massage therapist and she loves her job.
When Aubree is made an offer by her boss she just can’t refuse it. She goes on the road with Blaine and his team. She is his massage therapist and when the two meet they have chemistry and decide to have fun while they are on the road. Only when the time comes to an end and the season is over will they be over or will they continue to have a relationship?
OMG! This book had me addicted and I could not put it down, I was hooked. The writing style was so easy to read and flowed well. I loved Bree and Blaine although they didn’t particularly like each other at first. Their chemistry and banter was on point plus who doesn’t love a race car driver? This enemies to lovers story was well written and executed perfectly. Another 5 star read!!
Trust the Push by Kaylee Ryan is a fast-paced and sexy, enemies-to-lovers story.
I am already a huge Kaylee Ryan fan. She writes it, I will read it! She never ceases to amaze me with the wonderful stories she comes up with. My love for Kaylee Ryan and her books will never end. I devoured this book and I loved every single second of it.
The spark between Aubree and Blaine is evident from their first meeting. Once they gave in to their feelings, the chemistry between them just scorches the pages! I loved reading their interactions and watching their journey and love story slowly build between them was absolutely perfect. I enjoyed all the secondary characters, they were fun and helped to further enhance the story.
These characters are incredibly endearing and the witty banter throughout the book is thoroughly entertaining. This is a beautifully written story, with humorous and heart-warming elements that had me totally captivated with this addictive page turner, and I cannot wait to read more from this talented author.
I received a review copy of the book before release for an honest review.
I LOVE Kaylee Ryan, so much that going into this story I had no idea about the plot. But I have never read a bad book by her so I couldn’t wait to dig in. I am happy to report that I loved every minute of it. The only thing I hated was the end.
This is the story about two very lonely people who start off as enemies but end up not being able to resist the other. It is a also a race car NASCAR romance story. It is told in dual POV and I really fell hard for every single character in this story.
Blaine ” Checkmate ” Bishop is our race car driver, he is 25 and he has wonderful parents and extremely close friends who are part of his team. He is afraid of love, commitment and marriage because he wants to win a championship first and not have to leave a wife and kids while he races.
Aubree Chance is a massage therapist who is very alone, she ha s never known love and her strongest connection is to her best friend Maria and her husband Isaac. She wants to fall in love but she understands that she has a very tender heart. The two really irritate the other and Blaine is fighting his attraction and that causes Bree to think he hates her.
However Blaine only does temporary so they fight their attraction very hard. When the two are forced to travel together and get to know each other well that is when the book gets fun and I loved all the fireworks between these two.
I always get excited when I see a new Kaylee Ryan novel!
Blaine is fantastic. This guy is focused and his determination to succeed is unwavering. I love those qualities in a book boyfriend, especially when that focus is challenged by a redhead he never saw coming. Blaine may come off as a jerk from time to time (hey, we all have our moments) but that’s definitely not who he is. He’s kind, loyal, caring, and unbelievably sexy.
Aubree struggled in the beginning, but I really enjoyed how her character grew over the course of the book. She had a tough start in life that’s kept her sheltered. It’s not always easy for her to let her guard down, which is something she has in common with Blaine.
The spark between these two is apparent from their first meeting. I loved watching their interactions and seeing them change through the story. And just like with all the KR books I’ve read so far, the supporting cast is just as great as the main characters. This is a sweet and sexy read that I’m sure you’re going to enjoy.
Trust the Push is a good story about Blaine a cocky race car driver, and Aubree a girl who just exists, but with a new job opportunity she’s about to be thrown into a whole new world. The story flowed well, and I read it all in one sitting. I loved experiences all the new things that Aubree did, I felt like I was right there beside her. Loved the racing family. Blaine and Aubree were so good for eachother. I enjoyed reading this story.
There are two things I love, Kaylee Ryan’s writing and racing! When Ms. Ryan said she was writing Trust the Push, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it! I fell in love with this book and read it cover to cover in one afternoon. Blaine and Aubree were absolutely a perfect couple in my opinion. Their banter, the push and pull of the relationship, the struggles they both faced were exactly what needed to happen to get this very unlikely couple together. And when they did? Pure magic! There were such a strong family bond with Blaine’s parents and also Blaine’s race team, I immediately fell in love with each and every character in the story! Honestly, this is my favorite Kaylee Ryan book to date! I highly recommend it!
Trust The Push has me repeating in my head a million times, ” Get the Flip out of here. ” Good gosh almighty. I know I shouldn’t have been surprised that I would absolutely fall in love with Blaine and Aubree’s story, but I never expected to fall face first in love with them. Ryan’s writing still to this day absolutely astounds me, and how she weaved through the depths of this story, but also keeping a light tone to it, makes her the author that she is. I get so lost in her words, that half the time I am so worried I may never come out. If I could live in her little bubble of characters for the rest of my life, I would die a very happy person. This standalone novel is based on the Dirt Late Model Racing. If you have no idea what that is, don’t be worried because, honestly it is not the soul focus of this book. It is more like, a surrounding if that makes sense. I loved each and every character and their banter. I love how family oriented this book is, it’s like reading a book but it is also welcoming you home at the same time, weird analogy I know, but none the less true. Trust The push is low drama, and it makes for a more fulfilling story, a more heart warming read. As always, I have to point out the fact that the title is woven in to this story. I LOVE LOVE LOVE how this author accomplishes that. I get goose bumps every time I stumble across the title entwined with the story.
Blaine ” Checkmate ” Bishop is making strides in the world of dirt late model racing. His team is his family / everything. Being 25 years old, and an only child, he comes off as stubborn, brash, and he doesn’t share to easily. His main focus is taking his career to the next level and to be the youngest one to do that.
Aubree Chance is a 23 year old massage therapist. Her childhood made her who she is, a shy independent woman, who hasn’t had the chance to truly experience life. She is introverted, but humble as they come. She has a kick *** best friend that supports her in everything she does.
When Aubree’s boss comes to her with an unexpected proposition, she can’t pass up the opportunity to travel across the United States. What she doesn’t expect, is the chemistry she has with dirt late model racing star Blaine Bishop? Can Aubree’s future be brighter than she ever imagined?
*I recommend this book.
m a huge fan of this author and her writing style. This book is no exception. Bree and Blaine have a very rocky start to their relationship and you can see the sparks fly. Bree’s life has had little love in it and to her the family that surrounds Blaine is what she craves as long as the guy himself. Their story is heartwarming and emotional as she learns to trust in what she sees and feels. This book was compelling and heartbreaking at times but oh so good. Great book.
I have to say that reading this authors books always gives me happy feels because the H/h have such a deep connection, there isn’t too much drama, and you can feel them falling in love with one another. This book did not disappoint.
I wasn’t sure if Blaine was going to be one of those hot-mess man-whore type characters, but he turned his attitude around pretty quickly. Aubree was a sweet girl with goals, but is used to people disappointing her. She expects nothing less from Blaine.
With being a big time race-car driver, Blaine knows how difficult it is to have a relationship when you travel all of the time. He sees how his best friend goes through this while traveling, and that is not what Blaine wants out of life. I don’t think he was against having someone in his life, but he didn’t want to deal with it while being in the middle of his career. Long distance just doesn’t work, that is until Aubree comes into his life.
This book just has a great, positive story and definitely worth the read. I voluntarily reviewed this book from the author. Great read and worth every second.
Ryan is the queen of sweet, southern small town romance. She writes irresistible men, heroic females who’ve overcome the odds, and gives you that perfect dose of love that only she can create.
In Trust the Push, Ryan tells the story of a young late dirt model racer, Blaine and massage therapist, Aubree. Although Blaine first appears as the world’s biggest a-hole, you can’t help but find him interesting. Both he and Aubree have massive walls up from the lives they’ve led to that point. It’s absolutely amazing to read their story as they trust the push that life is giving them to each other.
While I have no clue, none whatsoever, of what Dirt Late Model racing is or if I am even getting the sport’s words in order over here, I can easily tell you that Ryan made it easy to follow while reading by loosely incorporating special moments of the races within the story. Instead of long winded explanations, she provided insight through familial moments that made these characters endearing while also educating us none car racing fans along the way.
The family and characters of this novel are everything. As with most of Ryan’s novels she creates family that you just can’t get enough of. Trust the Push was no different. If you haven’t had a chance to read one of Ryan’s book, please start with Trust the Push and find out how hard it is to resist her wonderfully written stories.
