My company’s IPO delivered more than an impressive net worth. I now grace the most eligible bachelor lists and I’ve even acquired a stalker. The board made me hire security now I live on the down-low. Guarded, never knowing who to trust. After all, that attention isn’t for me, it’s for my bank account. Then I meet Olivia. It’s putting Olivia through the media gauntlet—and possibly placing a bullseye on her back—that keeps me up at night.

A great storyline with oodles of steam. No spoilers here though. It’s filled with joy, sadness, intrigue, craziness & real-life moments.
If you like romance and intrigue with a charming alpha hero, you will enjoy Trust Me.
Isabel Jolie is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors, so I was excited to read Trust Me. This is the second book in The West End series and each book is a stand alone, although all the characters are interconnected. I haven’t read all the books in this series yet, but I plan to, because I have grown close to all of the secondary characters and want to know their stories, too. I thoroughly enjoyed this story and it’s intriguing plot, but what I really enjoyed were the two main characters. I just loved reading their story and I never wanted it to end.
Olivia is working on her MBA. She has some baggage from her past and right now, she only wants to concentrate on school and her internship. Then Olivia meets Sam and he completely changes everything. The first time Olivia sees Sam, she is taken in by his good looks and she can’t help daydreaming about him, but she never expects to see him again. Olivia is smart, beautiful and a good person and she has a close knit group of friends that she enjoys spending time with.
Sam is ten years older than Olivia. He owns and runs a successful tech company which has made him very rich, but because of his wealth, he has learned to be cautious of people. Sam is immediately drawn to Olivia and he doesn’t waste any time in letting her know how he feels. Sam is charming, sweet and protective and I love how he lets Olivia know how he feels about her right away; he never plays any games. Sam is a good ole southern boy with lots of southern charm and he stole my heart right along with Olivia’s.
I enjoyed Sam and Olivia together so much. Their story is sweet and heartwarming and there’s also a little suspense thrown into the mix. What also makes this story so endearing are all the characters. I loved Sam and Olivia but there are also colorful secondary characters that I enjoyed reading about. Olivia has some wonderful friends and I love when they all get together. I thoroughly enjoyed this one and I think you will too.

Trust Me is an amazing read. I love the dynamic between Olivia and Sam. They have this instant connection that you get right away. Olivia is sweet and she knows the direction she wants in life. Sam had his trust issues and that is understandable. I love the little added stalker into the mix. It really throws more into the story. You will love the chemistry with Olivia and Sam and will fall in love with them as they fall. I loved this one so much and i can’t wait to get into more of the West Side series.
Liked it
Really enjoyed the characters in this, and it was romantic, although the romance flowed a little faster and easier than in reality. Still an enjoyable read, the kind to gobble in on a rainy afternoon with a cup of hot chocolate.
Slow starter, worth waiting for it to develop A page turner, couldn’t put it down.
Enjoyed this story. Wonderful characters and interesting storyline.
Wasn’t familiar with the author but will definitely read any of her work that I find!
4,5
This was a great book! I loved the characters of Olivia and Sam. Sam is adorable!
They notice each other for the first time in a coffee shop and the attraction is immediate. As it turns out later, she becomes his intern. Many things happen from there. I don’t want to give any spoilers. The story flowed well. It’s written in dual POV and it was great to see the characters of Anna and Jackson, from the first book (When Stars Align), again.
I’m not sure if this one or the previous one is the best book in this series. I guess you’ll have to read them both yourself. You’ll love them both, trust me!
I really enjoyed this book! Enough romance and sex to make it interesting. Also caring and loyalty and most of all TRUST!
some interesting twists and turns for a very enjoyable read
Surprises at the end of book. Liked Sam as he seemed down to earth from start to finish.
Kept me interested. It has a twist that I didn’t see coming. Enjoyed it.
I enjoyed this book very much. It kept my interest from the beginning to the end! Very interesting characters. A different ending than I was expecting!
Nice little twist at the end.
Such craziness. Really liked the main characters Sam and Olivia. Some craziness ensues and it really shows who they are as individuals and what the relationship means to them. Only thing. I wish more definition was done to illustrate the results of the trial in the end. I don’t want to spoil things but I like knowing when bad guys get what they deserve. Lol.
I won an advanced copy of this novel, so I started in the middle of the series. But I had enough context to work with the characters. I enjoyed the pacing and the cast of characters, but I did have a few questions after finishing the book. Maybe they will be resolved in book 3 or maybe they were fielded in book 1 . Guess that means I’ll need to read the rest of the series. Oh darn!
This was a cute whirlwind romance with some elements of crazy-town thrown in to keep things interesting. Honestly hoping that we will get to see this relationship continue to unfold in book 3! Happy Reading!
I like this new author….look forward to more books…
Sam has a slight problem and that is that he trusts everyone and this was before his little idea grew into a billion-dollar company. Sam meets Olivia in a coffee shop and he has his security team check her out. Olivia left Manhattan with a broken heart and moved to Prague and proved herself professionally. Olivia finally returns to NYC as a graduate student at Columbia, stronger, capable and determined. Sam and Olivia’s chemistry is hot, intense and very steamy. Can Sam trust Olivia? Will they give there relationship a chance?

A charming easy read, 4.5 stars. Right from the start, I was very fond of the personality of both Olivia and Sam. They come across as likable, people who both have seen the inside of a broken heart or losing confidence in others or feeling used. Their connection and attraction are felt from the beginning. Sam, a brilliant computer expert, and CEO of his remarkably successful company is heavily guarded by his ill-tolerated bodyguards. Olivia upon her return from her self-exile in Europe is about to start working for Sam but for reasons that I wholeheartedly agree with, she decides to decline the offer of an internship. Through mutual friends, they nevertheless get together and their relationship evolves in an almost organic manner with the reader feeling that they belong together. Their connection, attraction, and intellectual fit are very well developed and described by the author through scene-appropriate, well-edited dialogue with good use of vocabulary. Throughout the book, there is an underlying danger implied by Sam’s stalker who decided to stalk Olivia also. The end culminates successfully to a heightened sense of menace, as Olivia is kidnapped. The resolution which the reader is hoping for comes rather quickly but the HEA compensates for the somewhat hurried description of how the plot was effectively foiled. Nice book, would gladly recommend it.
