What a fantastic read. I was sooooo happy that Stella finally found her person…the one she could be herself and not always be the happy, go lucky friend, coworker, neighbor. I loved that quiet, reserved Sawyer is her person. They are truly perfect for each other. They balance each other out in many ways.
3.5 bumped to 4 un-Cheating and Nerdy Professor Stars. Not that there was actual cheating going on in this book, it’s more about the cheating that went on before this time frame. I’ve only read book three and this one in this series, so I don’t think I have the full effect of Stella that readers have from reading all of the previous books. To say that Stella is larger than life is probably an understatement. But, like many people who are larger than life, Stella has been hiding a lot. Trust in Me does a lot of ‘splainin’. I have to hand it to Stella, though. She definitely faces her issues head-on and doesn’t make any excuses. Sawyer is the perfect spoil for her. This is definitely a story that proves opposites attract. It’s a fun addition to the All I Want series. I won’t say it was better than Burn for Me, but it was just as engaging, two completely different couples but with some of the same insecurities. I enjoyed this one. It’s a quick, light read that’s great for summer reading.
Do opposites attract? Yeah I always thought so but Sawyer and Stella really don’t think so–until they begin to help each other and start to fake date!! Of course they almost blow it a couple of times–Stella in a big way. But she has some pretty serious hangups. But these two were meant for each other so there is a very happily ever after!!
I loved this book! I loved the characters. It is a wonderful, happily ever after kind of romance that is fun along the way.
Professor Sawyer is awkward in social situations so he fake dates Stella who is outgoing and funny. Hot looks, fun times, and a committed relationship happen in this book.
Ohmigosh!! This was my first Lea Coll book…it was so amazing! I absolutely loved Stella & Sawyer! I think the fact that Stella was so openly aware of her flaw made her a character that was easier to relate to! And I loved the fact that she was taking steps to help herself “get better”.
Sawyer was adorable! He was so cute while spending time with Stella, and watching them both realize they were attracted to each other might be my favorite thing about the book!
I didn’t want to put it down!!
Books like this one are exactly why I have been sucked into the romance genre and I’m never coming out. Stella and Sawyer made my heart swoon in so many ways. This is the 4th book in the All I Want series by Lea Coll but it can easily be read as a standalone. Trust In Me was my first book I have read by Lea Coll and I want to lock myself away and read all the other books in this series.
Trust In Me has a bit of a fake dating trope which always leads to tons of fun. I think what really drew me into this book was how relatable Stella was. She’s a curvier girl who hides her heartache with humor. Her past has damaged her but also made her who she is. Sawyer is just this hot, strong, silent nerdy type and in my opinion was perfect!! As these two get closer and progress their fake dating the story really starts to unfold.
(5 out of 5 stars) This is romance at its finest. I can’t stress that enough. It’s a cute small town romance. The sex scenes aren’t too heavy or in abundance. I honestly could see myself reading this book again and I’m not usually one to reread a book. I firmly believe Lea Coll is going to be one of my new favorite authors and to think the only reason I wanted to read this book was because of how cute the cover was.
This is the first book I’ve read by Lea Coll and I wasn’t disappointed. The story is fun, entertaining, well written and holds your attention. After reading this one I want to go back and read the previous books in the series and get to know those characters. It can be read as a stand alone book but there is some background that’s covered in previous books. I will definitely read more from this author.

The fourth book in the All I want series a well written story by an Author I have not read before. I enjoyed reading Stella and Sawyer’s story, I will be reading the rest of this series. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Stella and Sawyer Hudson knew of each other in high school but now that he is a professor at the local collage they seem to bump into each other a lot. Shame he thought she was a loud mouth.
Stella is a fabulous character who is full of life and energy. She attacks things head on and shows how having a learning disability doesn’t mean you can’t do what you want to do. Unfortunately, as with most generous, kind hearted people, she has dated some big losers in her time. Her honesty is refreshing as is her zest for life.
Sawyer is a quiet, shy guy who enjoys lecturing history and coaching the women’s rowing team. He gets a little unsure of himself around women, strangely though not around Stella-even though he had pegged her as a loud mouth, fun time party girl. He has impeccable manners and is just as caring as Stella.
Together, creating the ‘fake date’ scenario for him to secure his tenure at the college they have a wonderful chemistry. This story is a lot of fun but as well it explores some deeper issues, and the author does it well too through the use of these characters.
I have to say I a found this book to be faster paced than the previous books and having the story told mainly from Stella’s point of view works well.
Delightful opposites romance!
Stella is larger-than-life, a force to be reckoned with, but don’t count Sawyer out just yet. His is a quiet strength, a “still waters run deep” old soul that he keeps hidden from most of the world. But when he decides to show himself to Stella, whew! What fireworks!
This is a charming romance with well-developed, likable characters and just enough steam to power the story all the way to the sweet HEA. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
Trust In Me is my first book by Lea Coll. I thought it was a cute and fun story. Stella and Sawyer are the cutest together. Stella has trust issues because of two previous relationships. She also doesn’t think that she has a chance with Sawyer after overhearing what he thinks of her. Life has a way of working out and putting people in our lives that we never thought would be part of it before. The two key points that I took away from this story is being honest with those around you and to be yourself and things will workout.
I think Lea does an amazing job creating characters that are easy to relate to. Her story building was well done. This was an easy read and a page turner.
Such a wonderful story!!! Sawyer is the sexy “nerdy” professor we all love to read about. Stella is pretty amazing too! This story kept me engaged and turning the pages. I did feel like the overall story could have been condensed a little it felt long to me. Imso happy Stella got her HEA! Can’t wait to hopefully see more of these two pop up in other books relating to this series! I would recommend this to anyone that loves a small town romance.
It’s so hard to trust, especially when you have been hurt before. I can see why Stella is weary of being with Sawyer but a fake relationship always has some truth in it right? This was so fun to read and I was all in and feeling everything. I love that Sawyer is sort of the quiet one and the girl wasn’t made to be that way. They balance each other out so well but takes them a while to admit that they actually do need each other in different ways.

A struggle to overcome and sweet success
Trust In Me (All I Want #4) by Lea Coll is a well written romance and introspective reflection from Stella’s perspective.
Stella is larger than life and lights up the room wherever she goes. She and Sawyer seem an unlikely pair, but as the story develops, it becomes clear they are really perfect for one another.
The plot of this book is engaging and dramatic, including both Stella and Sawyer. Although written almost entirely from Stella’s perspective, it was clear to me that both were very vulnerable and dealing with their own issues. Stella’s were significant and difficult, making her interesting. I was immersed in her emotional healing and totally invested in how Sawyer would be part of it.
Overall, a very well written emotional charged book with many interesting characters and a sweet HEA.
I read an ARC of this book from Hidden Gems and voluntarily share my review.
I enjoyed this book from beginning to end. It was a great with the having characters that are well developed and engaging and have plenty of chemistry. The flow of the storyline was steady and smooth.

I loved this book so much! I spent the whole morning reading the book. I just couldn’t put it down. I loved it so much that I hopped on to Amazon and purchase the first three books in the series and will be buying then next books in the series when they are released. This author is going on my must pre-order list. It was very well written and held my attention from beginning to end. It can definitely be enjoyed as a standalone but there will be some spoilers of the other books in the series. All it made me want to do was read everyone elses stories and look forward to what I’m hoping is Wyatt and Lucy’s story next.
Stella is a reporter and Sawyer is a professor at the local college. Sawyer is trying to secure tenure. The two of them grew up in the same town so they have a lot of mutal friends. At a party Stella heard Sawyer stating that he has no interest in dating her because he thinks she’s too loud and impulsive. Stella had a rough childhood and she has some learning disabilities that she covered up by being the class clown and perky.
She becomes Sawyer’s fake date to help him socialize which could help in his bid to make tenure but what happens when things start to feel more real between the two of them? Will their insecurities cause problems? Will Stella’s job mess with Sawyer’s ability to make tenure?

Trust In Me by Lea Coll is a fake relationship between Sawyer, a history professor and Stella, an advisor to students on the online school newspaper. Complete opposites both looking for a meaningful relationship. Stella’s messed up family caused her to have trust issues to a degree that she was almost paranoid and completely insecure. Sawyer was studious, quiet, and terribly shy. Stella was impulsive, flighty, and loud. I loved reading their story and I recommend it to romance lovers that want to read a good story.
A cute, sweet couple. These two complemented each other. Though I would have liked to see him have more emotions. We hardly knew how he felt. Good story, with a sweet ending.
A more true to life than most romance novels.
