“Knock knock!”“Um… Who’s there?”Yeah. That was me, on my last date. Before you feel sorry for me you should know that I was the one telling the jokes. Jokes as in plural, because I didn’t stop with just one. Of course not. Hi, I’m Chloe Scott. The most awkward single girl in the city. But I’m going to get it together. I am. I’m going to learn how to date like a grown up.I’m going to have an orgasm … to date like a grown up.
I’m going to have an orgasm not given to myself.
I’m going to fall in love and live happily ever after.
Right after I get out of this interrogation room.

In the same way that I was curious to see how Aston would make Everly more than a wacky sidekick in her book, “Right” — I was curious how the introverted 2nd grade teacher with the FBI fetish would connect with a mature self-confident FBI agent. I am happy to report that they are a fun, funny and fabulous match. They do make a great pair that complement each others attributes, and stretch each other to grow in new ways all while fun and romance, chemistry and naughtiness ensue.
I like how Aston’s characters just love each other, but have to work through their individual and collective “stuff” before they admit it to themselves & then each other. The humor is still spot on. Part of what is great about Aston’s writing is that we get to see the courtship. It’s not just about getting to the sex or glossing over the chemistry of the characters. She takes time to create scenes where we get to see people interact—how great they are together—and we get to have fun with the characters because their lives are more fun when the two are with each other.
I have enjoyed all her characters so much. In “Trust” there are nice moments with Sophie & Luke, and Everly & Sawyer for those of us missing the characters from “Wrong” and “Right”. Knowing that their world comes to a close is a bit sad because I want to hang out with them all some more, but all of Aston’s characters have satisfying, complete tales that continue to be a pleasure to read.
I eagerly await whatever Aston dreams up next.
I absolutely loved and highly recommend this book/audiobook!!! Chloe is so funny, quirky and so loveable. Boyd is sexy, sweet and so clever in his acceptance to her needs. You will laugh out loud, swoon and need a fan to cool down. A must read!!
Trust is on a level all it’s own. Jana – you’ve killed it once again!
Chloe & Boyd’s story is the whole shebang! Impeccable writing. Hilarity. Witty Banter. Brilliantly thought out and developed characters. But most of all – the most exceptionally planned out, intelligent, thoroughly amazing story!
Chloe is the poster girl for awkward. Poor thing. She is sweet, beautiful and smart as can be with the social graces of a prepubescent instead of an educated adult. She has some hang ups. Dating is a challenge. A very unique character for sure.
We first met Boyd in Wrong. He is Sophie’s brother. An FBI Agent. Strong, take charge alpha male. Knows what he wants when he sees her. He’s immediately attracted to and intrigued by our sweet little Chloe when her date to a game takes a seriously horrible turn. Their interactions and what ensues is nothing short of complete brilliance. The lengths at which Boyd is willing to go to win over Chloe – earn her trust – knows no bounds.
Their journey is absolutely one of the best I’ve ever read. And I read a lot. A lot! So that says something. I cannot recommend Jana’s books enough. She is one of the best discoveries I’ve ever made.
trust
I loved every single book by this author and this one was no different.
I laughed and swooned and got embarrassed for Chloe lol, but above all I fell madly in love with Chloe. don’t get me wrong, I adored boyd and all his awesomeness but Chloe us stole my heart.
Chloe is a second grade teacher and she is socially awkward. She can’t date to save her life and I mean literally.. The things she comes out with.. I laughed and felt like hiding in shame for her at the same time.. but I adored her all the more for it. yes she is awkward but she is the most genuine person ever. She is sweet and caring.. coming from someone just awkward like her and who gets panic attacks, I tell you that Jana Aston made me see things under a different light, all the while having fun and showing that yes it’s possible to be awkward yet be cute and all the more interesting because of it.
The story is hilarious and sexy, great characters and even better plot..
I adored Boyd. . I mean, who wouldn’t? The man is hot and sweet and so thoughtful.. I Def want one lol
I devoured this book.. couldn’t put it down and I am not ashamed to beg on my knees for more
I only discovered this author a day or so ago and read all 4 of the ‘wrong series’ despite devouring and loving all of the books…this one I have to say is my absolute favourite.
Just a brilliant story with ‘real’ charachters…oh the ‘feels’
This is the 4th instalment of the series. I will be recommending this series and pouncing on anything else that Jana Aston writes
Awww, the Wrong series has officially ended for me. Trust is the last book of the series and it’s all about Chloe and Boyd. Everly has been trying to set them up for about a year. Chloe has resisted every attempt. Now the trio plus one are all settled into adulting with husbands, big girl jobs, or a combination thereof. Well, all except Chloe. Oh, she’s got the big girl job, but the rest? Yeah, not so much.
She’s done something she said she wouldn’t do. She’s joined online dating. On one of those dates, things go horribly wrong and she ends up being interrogated by the feds. Well, one fed in particular. Yep, you guessed it…Boyd. The next day they meet at the hospital while visiting Sophie and her brand-spankin’ new baby girl.
This one gets pretty hilarious at times. The steam doesn’t start until at least halfway through the book. Don’t worry, if that’s what you’re reading for there’s plenty of things to hold your interest until that point.
I happened on this entire series by accident. I almost didn’t pick it up, but there were such high ratings that I figured, what the heck. I can tell you that each book gets better than the one before it. It only took me two days to read the entire series. They go quick. They’re brain candy. They’re full of fun!
